The strong-willed monarch of Nost Ilterendi, an empire threatened by foreign invasion.
Matsumi seemed a natural-born leader, though under her facade of a calm and demure face she was a rather excitable woman. When given the opportunity, she will grow nervous over numerous mishaps and such. Overall, however, she is very outspoken and actually has quite to temper when provoked and will not hesitate to give someone she already dislikes a good strike if she is already under stress. In short, to friends she is a kind angel, though to enemies she is vengeful and coarse.
Sometimes Matsumi will carry a thin ivory scepter-like staff about as tall as she is, decorated with various chiming ornaments. The late Emperor's body was brought back from the battlegrounds to be buried in the royal garden, and ever since then her mother had fallen into a deep depression. And finally when Matsumi was in her adolescent years, her mother passed on to the next world, leaving her as the premature Empress of her struggling nation. With the help of her father's most trusted adviser, the girl reached adulthood with her empire intact. But, she was full aware that such a time of strength amongst her people could not possibly last forever...
