Rumors were spread easily for the girl to notice, for travel was what she excelled at, the way words flow essential. A place filled to the brim with patrons, but more importantly, a place that served as a gateway for everyone to play their roles. Those roles ranging from intricate plots spinning to... needless violence. The latter was less desirable, but that didn't stop her!

Before her mind could even register how... empty the bar was she had burst through the door, hand pushing it open forcefully and with a bang, falling a victim to her own excitement and perhaps cracking that indestructible foundation of this paradox. "Travelers, mercenaries, mages! Hold still no longer, for a call is to-..."

She hushed, eyes scanning around the... empty bar. Except for one person, that is, which admittedly didn't fuel her excitement, letting it squelch softly but surely. "My... this was not what I expected." An empty bar, that is, the celestial mutt standing in the door frame with a slight tilt of the head.

Ah, the ridiculousness, or err... creativeness that was Gambit's. The celestial held no first hand experience, yet regardless heard tales. Of man, monster and all in between, including things outside of those boundaries, interacting for the sake of it. A place where things more or less... held chaos as essence, which was enticing. She stepped in, letting the door close behind her and scanning her eyes over the establishment.

"Huh... so this is left?" And idle step forward was taken, next to Cole her location would be, before her hand swept over the surface, to test for dust. None, it seemed, so perhaps this place wasn't abandoned? No barkeeper, however, was found in her sights. Magic, of course, of a place with consistency tangled and vivid.

She turned to Tawny, curiously tilting her head before a soft smile cracked onto her countenance. "Ah, but yes! That is exactly it, young miss-" Mind you, Es herself looked to be in the prime of her life, "But that's exactly it! This place, it's a mere ghost of the tales I have heard wander. It makes me fear... am I too late?" Worry befell the angel, her wings twitching in the slightest while a sigh escaped her lips, eyes settled to the ceiling.

Well that was a task Es could set herself to. Lively and home-y! Though, admittedly a bar should probably not be reminiscent of one's home, but regardless, in a positive light such a thing would be splendid! With a slight tap of the food she stood tall, even if she wasn't the tallest, before her voice boomed once more, loud for all to hear, yet carrying elegance for all, except the most cynical ears to enjoy. "Well, that is something I could help with! A drink for all, to celebrate the company! Another one to share memories and tales and a third one to mark it all down!"

Excited, she turned to the lady with the owl, raising her brow at the creature. Of the sky, wisdom intertwining into the very feathers that carried it through the winds so eagerly. "Then let's unbreak this place." She stated, Tawny's words making her extend an arm, to take the paper, yet finding herself with something else entirely instead. A bird of prey, on her shoulder, she could not have prayed for a more amusing scenario. Naturally she relaxed, no stress in her veins as the animal was accepted wholeheartedly. "Ah, the name! It is Es, no less. Es Faria to be precise. Now, do I return the question?"

The bird. It squawked. She snickered, shaking her head before her own wings extended, fully outwards to flap a single time and linger for the bird to see. "Shakespeare, eh? A pleasure to meet you, fellow winged one! Now, miss and mister, may I acquire your names too? Though know, that in doing so, I'll forever lock them in my fate."

A name was given, satisfaction to fill the youth's mind. Yes, for even the simplest of names would scribble into something extraordinary. Like the bird, perhaps, Es found herself intrigued by the notion. "Oh? Is that so? Well now, don't let my behavior deceive! I am no bird, nor will I settle my sights on enamoring your companion." No, for Es had other things on her mind, things that Tawny effortlessly brought forth for her mind to grasp at.

Her voice executed it, a sudden spike of excitement at the notion. "Ah, yes! An adventure, is it not? Tawny, let me speak, for your needs are what I can provide!" She beamed up, her arm making a motion downwards, only to go firmly up once more, throwing the weight of Shakespeare and forcing him to take flight once more, or be met with the floor. Unless, sadly enough, the bird simply remained stoically on her shoulder, which would prove to be bothersome.

Her bag was unveiled and soon opened, a small brown leather notebook to be revealed. It was inscribed, the front, in a pattern that got more and more intricate as one inspected it. The details were tremendous, yet one had to properly appreciate to perceive. "An adventure, you say, and I will give that exactly. The first three on here are... Ah, a task for a wanderer, a historian and a writer! Varied, is it not? A land, unscathed by any soul, for anyone to claim and inspect! The second is... ah, more mysterious, you see, for places are abandoned at moment's notice. Do you dare to trespass upon ancient soil to sate curiosity? Satisfaction will bring you back, do not forget!"

She cleared her throat, the last one to be noted. "Ah, and of course, for literacy exists everywhere, across civilizations and song, it is of equal essence. Ancient scriptures, books with vague origin, the contents undecipherable! Do you dare take the role of scholar?" Admittedly, Es was quite enjoying herself.

Coincidence? Surely not, for the world was one. Everything intertwined, a new planet popping up out of nowhere never without a source. It was simply... to be found, the planet Tawny had read about very possibly being the exploration Es was speaking of. "A wanderer, I am honored, dear. That one lies a little closer to my heart, I must say." It was true, to wander, to ask for guidance of the stars that shone so brightly above was... admirable, even if she herself was exactly that. A dazzling star was born, young and full of good intent.

"Perhaps I failed to introduce myself... more appropriately. In essence, I am a wanderer too, but wandering on and on and on... One would think it becomes a bore but..." She closed her eyes, only to open them once more, a pleasant expression lingering in those sparkling jade hues. "I never once regretted traveling under the stars. It is my calling, my heart. To stay and settle down I will not anytime soon. I hear tales, I collect them and memorize every detail. I write it down in my memory, and too in my notes. A collection, I have, of places, things, sometimes simple concepts... waiting to be unraveled. I haven't even started half of them."

In short: Es had a vast amount of knowledge regarding yet to be claimed adventure.

A traveler was a traveler regardless of competence, or skill when it came down to it. She had adoration for those who deemed their lives under the stars, a melancholic smile for those forced into it. But, a bright flash, her own radiance squelched for the moment while an individual found way into the bar. Stumbling to the end, hurt and in need of guidance, it seemed. Es went into motion, starting to make her way over to the individual known as Marlene.

"Ah, I have, Tawny. Far and wide, skies ventured, horizons claimed... many things I've found, though not all I have put my focus upon." She fell silent, suddenly stopping in her tracks as she stood roughly in front of the new arrival. "... Ah... sorry. This is odd. I... must apologize. Mother is calling." She turned away from Marlene, coldly so, before making way back to Tawny, giving the girl a soft smile. "Dear, let us meet again. To find me, simply let your beloved avian skewer the open nightsky. The stars, and thus me, will find him, and you, once more. I'll tell you tales, too, of lustrous conflagrations and skies amethyst."

And thus, the winged one turned to the door, simply pushing the air out of her lungs and exiting the bar once more, called on a whim, mercilessly stripped away from where she bloomed.

Safety would always remain a flawed notion. Can you really say someone's safe? The unpredictable is not something you can prepare for, where even the sight of a stranger was enough to invoke the question: are you safe? A robot cannot scan intentions. Or at least, no such stories had managed to reach the ears of the celestial. Though of course, it didn't really matter to her in the first place. Her heart was a naive one, where the idea of a stranger imposing harm was already enough to confuse her just enough for it to be disadvantageous.

But these were the gardens! Light, blossom, a beautiful myriad of colors and overgrowth, a certain sight of delight radiating from the lightly clad winged girl. With a large pot held firmly in her arms she walked past a creek, nearing the other soul in the vicinity, before carefully falling to her knees. The careful observer would see that she was not alone... in fact, planted firmly in that pot was a small, blue-hued sapling of sorts. Tiny, shimmering, living.

"How about these earths. What do you feel?" And thus, Es Faria would be denounced to the crazy girl who spoke to trees. But, perhaps to light surprise, there was a reaction, where the young treant groaned out in a high pitched tone before shaking its head. "I feel fear. Fear is... not good." The plant spoke and with a soft nod Es Faria accepted its words. After all, this was the great Silfr lágreik. Or simply put 'Silverwood Sapling.' Its worth wasn't to be underestimated, however! Even a small treant like this could hold invaluable wisdom. That the lightborn was convinced of.

The girl got up, peering over the garden, before her eyes fell to the one resting. "Such a shame... how could such vibrant grounds fall victim to fear?" Naturally, there wasn't a certain answer, where a deep sigh escaped Es Faria at the complexity of the situation. A stranger to these cities, there was only one solution her mind could find. With the large pot in hands the winged girl made her way to Jayde, light confusion aroused at the mechanized being besides her, before that was put to a prompt rest. Question by question, do not deter from the task at hand, young bird. "Excuse me, Dreamer, but would you know what befell these pristine gardens? There is fear in the soil and my friend is... distraught." The sapling visibly winced, looking like quite the upset little tree-friend.

Immediately Jayde leapt up drawing her rapier rather surprisingly fast as her eyes stared in horror and fear, "who are you? Who sent you? Why did you wait so long?" her nervous worried eyes darted back and forth as the floating Golem blade crashed down between them as it spoke in commanding tone, "Subject Melary asks you remain that distance and no closer. Subject Melary is tasked with protecting... Subject Jayde. If you wish to harm Subject Jayde. Subject Melary will be forced to go into combat mode and dispatch you with extreme prejudice. State your purpose." Jayde herself meanwhile somewhat cowered as this went on before backing off slightly, "I know I have no money, but my brother is not a good man. I know he likely offered you lots of Liwave's for dealing with me. I know you likely don't care about who I am, but please I am here on Terra, what exactly could I do in Mezzadrate, please... Please I absolutely beg you don't do this... I don't want my titles, I don't want..." pausing her eyes welled up as she sniffled and kept pleading, "I really don't, he can have them. I promise I won't ever try take them, please."

There was more to Jayde as she spoke Melary had began to process the scene, partially an act, partially a distraction, "Subject Melary demand firmly you back off from Jayde. Lady Jayde has made clear she does not wish to speak with you. If you continue to cause her pain Subject Melary will protect Subject Melary's charge with all the ways they can. You have been warned. You have until Subject Melary counts to ten."

Meanwhile Jayde had her blade and shield out as she glared, "Anyone who supports my brother is not worth living. I demand to know everything before I end your pitiful life..." although the girl had come across to Jayde with curiosity because Jayde was semi-resting she had not caught anything but the fact she had been snuck up upon.

That was quite the load of information to take in. Enough for most of her reaction to consist of something confused and bewildered. Such aggression, such fear, such... unfairness. Her hands started to clutch onto the pot, a singular step back being taken, the potted sapling in her hands growling out in response. "Squelch your ramblings, I am no hired blade, nor do I even know of your title!"" It boomed forth loud and clear. Words amplified by a divine undertone. Something holy and heavenly, authority intertwined within the very waves of sound that she sent blazing through the air. A tone that said 'Stop. Listen. Open your eyes.'

Though despite her act of deviance towards the other's aggression, the actions that aimed to squelch Jayde's attitude entirely, her posture remained one questionable. She never drew a blade, nor prepared a spell. "I am unarmed! Dare thrust your blade, or be it bullet into the heart of an innocent bystander, merely because of fear! Dare let your past define who you are- Dare soil the soul and name thyself a murderer!" She'd hear it. Thoroughly and true, the voice of an angel herself, not sympathetic or caring, but honest and just. In the heart of the celestial, there was no excuse to draw a weapon on the innocent, nor was she simply going to accept fear guiding the heart of a young one.

No, because Es Faria was innocent. From the way she dressed to her pristine wings placed carefully upon her back. Feathers of a color pure and locks of starlit blonde. The otherworldly jades that quite literally came from another world, mixing together with a presence that was quite literally holy. Indeed, the girl was a beacon of light, and if her appearance wasn't enough to show that, her righteously divine voice would be there to back it up.

/me was metaphorically thrown back by the onslaught although she was still nervous despite this. Having never met a celestrial she looked to the golem, "Melary... it's okay... I think... you can stand down, just be prepared." the Golem responded in same mechanical tone, "Subject Melary understands and obeys. If Subject Jayde is harmed in any way Subject Melary will immediately respond and deal with threat. If Subject Jayde is deceased Subject Melary will immediately detonate core in response. Subject Melary will now continue to scan but Subject Melary is monitoring the situation." the great Calisha Glass blade drew up leaving a massive groove in the soil where the blade had fallen.

Meanwhile Jayde partially hid behind her own shield and clung to her rapier, "Who are you then? If you are not working with my brother... I demand... I would like to know who you are. How did you find me? And also why did you sneak up on me." there was pure actual fear in her gaze, while she shakily gripped to the blade and tried to keep her head behind the shield, "I... I... I warn you, I am not as weak as I appear... Tell me..." though it came across less demanding and far more like she actively pleading desperation lacing her very tone. Her lithe figure likely in normal circumstances a benefit to her fighting, but here it felt like something that hindered her as she had no upper body strength.

This wouldn't be the day innocent blood was spilled. Neither celestial, it seemed, where the girl calming down was definitely a relief. Now, Es Faria could talk without the fear of being stabbed in response. Absolutely lovely. With a deep sigh she put the pot aside, a shush being given to the distressed sapling, before she proceeded to give a polite bow. "The name is Es Faria, daughter of Azriel, daughter to Hjolder. Aesirborn by heart, Angel by blood. In response to your first question, that is who I am. Not a shred of untruth has been spoken." Despite her voice having calmed, a certain highness remained to her words. As if she was not only introduced herself, but too defended her name. Though, is that not expected? When Jayde thought her to be a murderer?

She raised from the bow, where her jade's went to lock onto those of Jayde. Fear. She saw it, she felt it, and with words she aimed to crushed it. "I am not murderer, no cutthroat or foul soul. I hold strangled hope in my heart that you will come to understand, that you will cast these shadows aside and embrace the light. Dare I say I wish to help you? Or is aiding a stranger greeted with distraught, nowadays? I ask of you, dear, let me cast these fears astray. Take my hand, and I shall prove to you that these fears are as brittle as ancient bones."

Her hand extended, a singular, delicate hand inviting that of Jayde's to join.

Talk about information overload, Jayde could hardly keep up. Only mutely nodding still little nervous, although by the end of first introduction she gave a long sigh before deciding in this case the truth might be best. This person did not appear entirely threatening and besides in the event she was wrong, Melary would act, "My name is June Malfuseus. I am the last daughter of Madelynn Malfuseus and Rylan Malfuseus. Both of them were murdered by my brother. My younger brother Norvin Malfuseus knew that I as the next in line was in most danger, so he came to my room and gave me enough to purchase a ride. He knew once I was gone he was dead, but he still did it making sure Melary, the Golem here understood under all circumstances I must survive. Even if I was not to return, he still wanted me to live. My Brother Tarius Malfuseus. I don't understand why he would betray us. Well I did not, as I have wandered here. I suspect one of the other families promised him something. My family used to be highly influential. We were one of the most popular and beloved. We deserved all that. After all we were not mongrels like the others. We one of the originals." rolling her eyes she continued, "I arrived here, and I been here ever since, always moving just in case I was followed. That is why I jumped into defensive earlier, I believed my Brother had finally found me."

Pausing she removed a small container from Melary's armour and took long swig, savouring it as the water poured into her lips, "I believe you. Although I do think you are naive. Not because you trust me, but because you speak too much information. People can use information and though I am not like my brother. I can still observe things. Although once again I gesture to Melary if I come to harm she will blow her core, so be warned." with that she tentative replaced her shield back on her back, keeping blade out as she reached the now free-hand.

The seed of her fears. It was so easily brought bare and Es Faria gazed upon it. Betrayal, cruelty, a hunger for power. Thus, the girl abandoned her home in fear of her life, all the while paranoid about the possibility of being stabbed in her sleep. "Such a fate is cruel. But it does not define you. Not all are rotten, like your brother. Accept that, and you can move on. Stronger. A different person. Do not let your past define you." Naive or not, Es Faria cared little for the risk stating her name brought. After all, her people were honorary. They had no foes beyond the inherently evil and wicked. Her blood rejected it.

Their hands met, Es Faria gently taking a hold of Jayde's while shimmers of golden light flickered in the air around them. Softly, yet certainly, where it bundled up in their connection. One might think it would be distressing to have sudden magic spark around oneself, yet it would be the exact opposite. The magic channeled into their grasp was anything but harmful, positive energy flowing through into Jayde flawlessly. Though there might have been no wounds to mend on first sight, there'd be a distinct sense of tranquility that would wash over the once-noble. Energies that said 'It'll be okay. Not everything is foul within this world.'

Eventually it ended and Es Faria exhaled deeply. A moment was taken, eyes shut, before she spoke once more. "How do you feel, Jayde? Not everyone wishes to harm you. Find strength in the people around you. Your companion, your friends, though most crucial: those with good hearts." Thus, the half-angel hushed her words, where a friendly, radiating smile was displayed instead. No, this one's light wouldn't be squelched anytime soon. A promise of guidance across a shattered sky.

She snapped her eyes once more darting, "Don't you understand here... I can never rest. My brother won't rest until I am dead. I can't risk anyone elses safety. It is wrong to think for one second he will not get me. Tarius is relentless and I can't let others suffer because of my own personal life it is wrong..." pausing her eyes still darting she then added, "I may have lingered here for too lo--..." as she spoke her hands were taken.

At first she was afraid, but soon her racing heart slowed and she even began to relax, even admiring the arcane energies just around her, finding a peace she had long forgotten existed. It was bliss. It was euphoric. It was nirvanna. So many multiply positive emotions flooding her cortex and then soothing voice speaking through her very consciousness being awoken and given kindness and even the once placid existence she served being reminded.

Although it eventually ended, leaving her somewhat hazy and tired, "I... I... I don't know... but how can I be sure? How can I ever be sure he won't come after me. Yes it has been two years, but if he catches whiff of my existence, he would move heaven's and earth to make sure I was dead... I want to believe I can relax, but it goes against everything I understand. I don't feel safe, I can't, two years perhaps but I am not safe..." she seemed to struggle with idea of safety or even being in a state of security. In her eyes she was always in danger.

Having calmed the stranger, the celestial too found herself a little more at ease. "You can never be sure. But to live a life in fear, is as to live no life at all. Two years have passed, and see, you are unscathed. You can settle down, find a life and undoubtedly too find happiness. You will find sanctuary. I assure you." Where the confidence for her words came from was all but clear, yet were one to believe the strength of her voice, it'd be truth.

A soft, grumbling shriek came from besides them, the potted treant stating its distaste for the situation and the soil around them rather bluntly. "Fearful, fearful! Fear is but a guideline for the unwise! These grounds are meek!" In that moment Es Faria was forced to face the treant once more, where she gave a soft snicker at its tiny outburst. "Calm, Vyvarrsyll. We will find better soil soon. Remember! To lighten one's fear, one must respect it." She picked up the pot once more, a lightly brown ceramic artwork that had intricate, green patterns adorning it.

Facing the female once more, Es Faria mused shortly before settling her decision. "Do not mind my companion. He is wise, but young." Naturally, such an inquiry was met with the lightest of squabbles from the blue tinted tree, before she carefully shushed it. "I came to ask why these grounds are soiled with fear, though I have other tasks to tend to instead. However, I cannot ignore, every star holds a wish, and will you fulfill one of mine?" For only a moment she paused, half a step back being taken while her eyes scanned over the pristine gardens she had the pleasure of visiting. "Find your sanctuary. Maybe not in this garden soiled with fear, but far away from the world, where your heart can rest assured. I want you to live, not fear."

It was strangest experience she had been presented with and thus she was meant to take it at face value. Half of what this being said made no sense and some of it made a great deal of sense. Still she could not just stare dumbly and mutely nod she had to speak, "Maybe you are right, but how can I ever be sure he won't find me? My little brother did all his in power to keep me alive. I would be forsaking his legacy if I decided I was somehow safe, surely? Yes much of what you say makes a great deal of sense, but how can it truly be that easy? I am trying to fathom this, but still seems too easy. How can I settle down while believing he is here. I don't want others to suffer because of who I am. You say I can do this, but don't I have responsiblity to keep others out of my affairs. I truly want to believe it is this easy, but there seems so many challenges..."

Pausing she turned to Melary who was still performing scans while checking the area, although she immediately was alarmed to hear a second voice and immediately spun around in terror, to see the plant had spoken. Yes she had seen it before but was still hardly used to it, "Fear kept me alive this long, how can it be unwise if it is truly unwise?" she challenged exercising her education, although it seemed it would not be tested as the girl answered, "That makes more sense than suggesting it is unwise. Fear kept me alive this long, I don't know what else I have..."

Although now the main point came up which left even more perplexed, "What little I know, Wing City is a place of good and evil, but much evil been done in this place and I was once told by one of the Alaran's Noble that is one of the Families that Soil has a profound memory and that growing new life is as much respecting this as well as maintaining it. It is why Ideoris is so beautiful though weapons and such are made there, they are never used in that place." she felt her mind wandering back and gave short sad sigh, "Sorry, my family was not the best people, but I do miss Mezzadrate it is truly magnificent place to behold..." finally the last comment she gave a small nod, "I will try, I can't promise more sorry..."

Es Faria could not promise anything. If the sky were to fall right now, her word needed to remain true. That was the resolution she took, for her light was a guiding one, not a blinding one. "Alas, that is your task. I simply speak from heart, that living in fear is not a life you want to live. Be strong, be smart. When fear is conquered, it becomes a decision, not an instinct. Fear is not a bad thing, for it keeps even the most simple of beings alive, but to stand above that fear is true wisdom." The celestial explained once more. Fear wasn't a bad thing, no, it was simply natural. With time one would discover, however, that sometimes transcending your emotions and instincts could provide substantial benefits. The little tree was a particularly devout follower of such a believe.

"Fear is a tribal instinct! Fear is defeated by rational decisions!" It seemed this tree really, really wanted to get his point thoroughly across to Jayde. Though soon Es Faria intervened, where a thorough clear of the throat followed. "And what is anger, Vyvarrsyll?" Another emotion, one that could stand between convincing someone, and starting an unnecessary argument. A single Hmph came from the tree, somehow, before it just crossed his wooden arms and grumbled. It seemed that the celestial had managed to squelch it, where a single smirk of amusement was the grand end result.

Alas, things were nearing their end, where another comment from the tree was enough for a deep sight to escape the celestial's lungs. "Wrong soil. I wish for better ground." A clear of the throat later she responded, glancing through the garden another time with mild curiosity. A curiosity that would remain unsated, for it seemed no time would be given for her to inspect these luscious grounds. "It is time to settle for better soil. I will not forget this encounter, Jayde, and I dearly hope you'll remember not only me, but too my words." A grumble, before she glanced down. "And Vyvarrsyll, of course! I know he will." She turned around, where her wings stretched out, a flap coming forth, before collapsing onto her back another time. "Take care, Jayde. Live life with a strong heart." And thus, Es Faria set out once more, to sate the little tree's desire for pure grounds.

Even if the male desired to lead the way, such a thing would be questionable. After all, who knew the way? Who hired the drunken blade? Even if he was far less drunk than she might have expected him to. How they met, at this point, was unimportant. What was important was the journey in front of them, where it had become less about adventuring and excitement and more about tedious mountain scaling. With a large pot, small ent within, one could wonder just how the celestial kept from tiring herself through the journey. She never broke a sweat. She never even asked to rest.

"Does the phoenix require food? We have rations." After all, adventures were on their weakest with a growling stomach. The tree scoffed, in its own, slow and wooden way, where after the blue barked menace turned away from the mage. "Fire keep its distance." Naturally a creature made of wood would be... quite wary of those made of fire. In fact, even Es Faria needed to keep her distance, seeing how her wings were quite flammable too. And truly, that would be something she didn't have an immediate solution to. Such a thing would scar her.

"Regardless, the ruins should be near, according to the maps. It is abandoned, or so it's said, but you can never be too careful. I do have a question about your phoenix, on another note." A sudden turn of conversation, where the young one's curiosity proved to overthrow the conversation. "It burns. But how? Is it through its own magic? Fire requires air, heat and fuel. I cannot help but wonder, does the same apply for its flames?" The ruins were near, however. If Es Faria wasn't distracted, she might even have noticed the tarnished and broken outpost in the distance.

"The phoenix is fine," Alrion answered dryly, "And heavy."
His arm sagged slightly causing the phoenix to shuffle up until it was on the edge of the glove and scratch at his skin. Those talons looked like knives, able to slice and stab terrifyingly easy. As for how the phoenix remained immolated, Alrion just glanced at Fawx and sniffed.

"I don't rightly know, but I'd guess all phoenix are born with inherent magic that they are re-born with when they die." His head turned about to peer at her with eyes almost as sharp as his birds. "How does the tree function? It has no brain nor muscle nor bone. The real thing that should be asked is why do you question the makings of the goddess? Though... I'm far from a religious man..."

The man had not changed his clothing the entire journey, wearing the same fabulous but dirtied cloak he wore when they met. He also had a sword that remained sheathed and several glass orbs on his belt of an unknown purpose.

For a journey like this, the female wasn't exactly clothed perfectly either. The light set of clothing, not a single piece of armor in sight, simply asked for the weather to ruin her. Though careless she was not, simply confident, where the weather was cloudy, yet not rainy. When it came to the cold... well, with blood half Norse and a skin like stone, she could bear through the mountain air. "Of course we question the Goddess. Not through doubt, or faithlessness, but because I have trust." A hint of amusement sparked forth, where she stopped for a moment to turn to her human companion.

"If I have to question the Goddess, it merely means I do not understand the way something functions. Thus, I question, not because I question that it works- because obviously it does- but because I long to understand!" Admittedly, she wasn't sure how the tree worked. But it worked! So, thus, using her flawless logic, there had to be a proper explanation as to why such a strange thing would function. Thus, she settled to the road ahead once more, finally noticing that their destination was more than near.

"How does the human function? It kills brain, scars muscle and breaks bone." Apparently the tree wasn't exactly in favor of alcoholic mages. Who'd have guessed.
