Physical Description: Evelyn doesn't consider herself a raving beauty, but she tries to make herself look presentable. She typically wears modest practical clothing coming from her work as a school teacher. Long blonde hair that she usually wears down and framing her face, her eyes are not a crystal blue but more of a soft, dark blue. When she was teaching she would typically wear a nice blouse and slacks, but when she isn't working she loves to wear jeans and a t-shirt.
Personality: Evelyn is very patient and loving especially with children, she has never been married or had any children, so she always treated her students as her own. This makes her very protective of them and whomever she cares deeply for, when she hears of someone hurting a child in disgusts her and often time makes her angry especially if nothing is done about it. Evelyn is very shy around the opposite sex which presumably is the reason why she isn't married yet, but she is not averse to having a relationship.
Equipment: Dead cell phone and laptop computer, a pack with various non-perishable food items, Swiss army knife, compass, mace/pepper spray, camp stove, lantern, extra lamp oil, canteen, a flint rock kit, first aid kit, extra clothes, and boots.
History: Evelyn has lived in Grants Pass, Oregon her whole life, only leaving for four years of college. After she finished school she came back to her hometown and got a job at the local elementary school as a third-grade teacher. She didn't know what to think when the blackout happened and especially when the plague started ravaging the countryside. She watched as many of her students deteriorated and died from the Sand. It wasn't long after people starting falling ill that they closed the school, leaving Evelyn in a quandary on what to do with herself. She really didn't know where to go the town was dying, people were crazy with fear of the unknown and all Evelyn could think to do was to find someone else that was leaving and follow them.
