a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by lostamongtrees

Description

Glaob Nuurk is the leader of the music loving race of gelatinous Forners. They are called Forners for they grow, harvest, and trade forn all throughout the Space.

They love music because of the frequencies. They come in all colors and sizes, and sometimes get runny as they age.

Though most traders speak fluent Common with no problem, Glaob has a heavy accent.

So begins...

A group of Terran reporters from Express News had set up along the wall. A Japanese looking woman with an English accent started her report, keeping her voice low enough to not interrupt the talks. "This is Azami Kuribayashi live at the UCON peace summit in deep space...", she said and continued on.

Murmuring started, issuing from nearly every seat. Einar stood and spoke quickly after Luke in an attempt to disarm what he viewed as an attempt at sabotage. He had wanted to sit on the sidelines of this summit to observe but at the same time could not leave the outcome to chance if there were those that wished this summit to fail. "I would beg the leaders present to consider this: There need not be a leader, only a speaker to maintain order when chaos reigns. This speaker could be elected by those council members nominated, elected, and representing their own people, organization, or government. Those council members hold their seats for a term and can be re-elected or removed should their people deem them worthy or wanting by a vote of no confidence by their peers or those they represent. If at all possible the number of members in this council should be odd. It is moot until a full accounting has been done for every party that needs to be represented and folly to argue over until nominations have been made."

He continued on with but a slight pause. "All those that wish to be represented and offer assistance in this project should make themselves known. King Josiah Liwave of the Mezzadrate Empire and Artemis and Sarasha of the Pandorian Alliance have spoken wisely and in support of this project. Glaob Nuurk of the Forners seems willing to dedicate and share their love of music and forn. UCON was kind enough to host this meeting and thus we can assume they have interest in it. Darius Ko'Vash of the Democratic Coalition has spoken well in support of this summit and its goals. Even Luke Sullen of the Zar...", he said, paused and reviewed the information. "... I mean the Sullen Enterprises Confederacy has provided valuable input. My good friend, Cain of Terra represents the welfare of Terra and her people as no others have stood among those present." He motioned to all. "He is aware as much as you all are that Terra is an insignificant speck in the grand scheme of things. At the same time he is as aware as are all of you that it is the conflict currently taking place on Terra, in SOL, among a number of great powers that caused the need for this summit. It is not my intent to make Terra the primary topic."

He then turned to Crown Prince Shimizu Gabriel Takayama. "We are honored by your presence Crown Prince of the Taiyou. I am sure that the people of Terra and its government will be relieved to hear that the declaration of war upon them will soon be lifted or already has been. Does your presence here mean that you have interest in the formation of this council or in the project being proposed? You have just said that you wish for the furthering of peace in this galaxy. This would be a brilliant step in that direction." The touch pad continued to beep in a low tone, not audible but to those very close to Cain and him. If Takayama gave a negative then the only other reason for his presence had to deal with the capture of the Aschen leadership and the Aschen surrender. It would likely cause problems if they sought custody of the prisoners of war. Einar returned to his seat.

Sarasha watched Luke. Her psychic power of Empathy made her feel a sort of distrust from Luke. Though, she could not accurately place what that meant exactly. Empathy was an already shaky power, and pregnancy did not help it at all. She couldn't tell if it was distrust towards him, comming from him towards someone or everyone, or if he wanted to cause distrust in everyone here. Though, she found it hard to believe, though she knew it was certainly possible and likely, that someone would want to prevent this peace and co-operation, so she assumed it was just some faulty perception, maybe towards something he said, or him at something someone else said. Either way, she thought adding her view might help clarify things.

"I agree, there should be no leader of a council, for that defeats the point of a council. We should have an equal number of representatives from each nation, and create a council to decide things. In this project of such a large scale, one person should not have all the power. If we are to make laws and guidelines for all of those involved, then all of those involved should have fair and equal representation. We can not afford to have distrust grow among us, and allow a threat to such peace".

She looked back at Luke, hopping that the distrust he felt or someone felt towards him would dissipate. Artemis meanwhile looked at Einar. "To add onto what you have said, we can not just put one planet over all of them. There are other planets that have their problems and people too. On our Homeworld, we still must deal with the treacherous wildlife and plant life, which like us, have evolved from a planet in which faced several challenges for survival. Antongrad has recently had a visit from a Wyrm. Misrana has had its troubles as well. While we should provide support to Terra, help it become something better, we can not turn our backs of all of the other planets and troubles. Who are we to declear one planet and it's people more important then another? All of the worlds deserve help when they need it".

With that, he sat down, and let others speak their minds on this as well.

Finally Josiah raised himself once more, "I suppose I best be blunt and tell you why the forming of this alliance is necessary I am surprised to see such support for this, and I hope this shows good tidings. The goal of this alliance are two things, one we shall work on a document of Intergalactic Laws inspired by Terran document of the past it shall not be a replacement of those laws but instead a continuation of said document. The final goal is a neutral platform Christian-ed Eulogy Bastion it shall be a huge..." hold on I shall show you a model our scientists have formed.

He would place a small pod like device down and press a button as a 3D model of Eulogy Bastion would show up:

"Here it is gentleman and ladies the true goal of all this a place where all nations can gather and speak on important matters and no danger for either to take part in these talks. Each nation shall be represented by an Ambassador and have a suite assigned to them, each nation shall something to the construction of this thus it shall be the work of peace and friendship. Of course there is risks, I understand them, but it's time to bring the wars back to neutral zones, many of you I know have done questionable things. I of course am unpopular with my own council of families because of my race, rumors are all we have."

The King took a deep breath, "For the sake of non-conflict if you don't wish to be represented then leave now, if you are being represented then I am sorry to say we must know the truth. No crimes will be charged here today, think of today as a blank slate, I know this is risky but I am trying to make you all understand that we must look to new ways to handle our grievances, Mezzadrate should stop hiding for one thing. I am trying to conduct a new era. If the League of Non-Aligned Worlds is to survive we will need to be honest with one another."

Darius inclined his head as Sarasha Einar and Josiah, he knew all to well the risks. After all, he himself, sat on a council, and knew the challenges it would face, "Forming, and maintaining a Council is not an easy task, but a necessary one. The Democratic Coalition is run by a council and has been for many years, therefore we know the risks involved and the challenges it will present. In short we must not waver under pressure nor falter from this path if the League is to success." He spoke to the room despite his eyes focused more on Luke, almost as if he could sense that he was up to something. "Also, to add to representative Sarasha's statement about helping other worlds, the DC has a humanitarian force willing and able to help as many worlds as they can. Of course, aid from other nations will be needed to insure no planet is left out. In addition, we can even supply planets and nations with alternative power supplies that pose less risk to both planet and person. We would also be inclined to give the same power supplies in support of the station." With that final statement Darius sat down folding his legs again.

On board the DCSS Harbinger, Tyler and the crew received one last report from the Gauntlet. "Commander, the Gauntlet reports all good, seems the meeting is coming to a close as we speak." Said the communications technician as he turned to face Tyler, "Good, hold position here. I'm sure Prime Minister Ko'vash would like to know we're here." Tyler said as he turned to face the CIC of the bridge.

iNTERGALACTRANSLATOR
: We're just here to deliver vegetables !
: So long as trade is free, we should have no problem with all that you already said, yes ?
: There comes a time when everyone will be together. We're willing to support the future, but not by expenses or force. Accessibility will be a strength! Communication and trade will be indispensable tools!
"Whurr jerst hurr tor dulurvah vurgturbals!" Glaorb Nuurk glorbled. The gelatinous being was harried with the pace of conversation, his delegates memorizing everything for sure, imprinting the audio waves to vibe back later. Despite this backup method of communication, Glaorb wished the wavelengths would stretch.

"Salong a Trade is Free," He pronounced those last three words very carefully and clearly, "We sh'av nooooproblom wit aaaaaall dahyu alreasaisai yeas?" Glaorb aimed his dark obsidian eyes around the room. "Ther hums a time wen ebriwon illy together. Wooleye support tha future, o nobye expense o force. Assessiblibliblih illy a trenth! Communitraeun illy a inderspelsapple toos!" With that, Glaorb jellied back into his former position, considering himself to have stated enough. His delegates hummed in approval.

Luke listened to the representatives speak and then he himself stood again. "I am in agreement with the projects plans and I second the motion for a leaderless council." He said as he looked around the room, "In addition I offer to supply staff and can send construction crews to assist in the process." He said, he decided it would be a botch job to try and crush this conference and with the promise of a clean slate he could push aside any genocide charges that might have arisen against him. (Out of MV Rp... Luke Ordered the use of chemical weapons against a planetary population.) Maybe he could even gain some allies out of this conference.

"On another note the SEC has a variety of items open for purchase, I am after all a salesman, if anyone is interested I will be around after the meeting." He said with a business like smile.

Then something crossed his mind, maybe it was a bet it was after all a dangerous ploy. He turned to the UCON representative. " But back to a more important matter, If the slates are being cleaned what would that mean for the Divine Shadow?" He asked, "Would he be freed or are his charges a private matter? It also appears that the Aschen Reps have been arrested. No yes they may have done bad things in the past but if we are to be equal and really work with a clean slate I am asking that they be released and allowed to attend if they so wish." He knew he was risking angering other representatives but he wanted to make a point here, if this "clean slate policy was to be upheld there could be no loopholes no exceptions. "So we can retain this policy or we can revoke it and then we will have to begin holding trials and I know many here would be more than happy with the clean slate policy." He said there was fire in his eyes, and once it got going he could become a force to be reckoned with.

The jelly creatures listened as another representative spoke. They personally had no strife with anyone as intergalactic traders. The Aschen were great customers, unless those planets weren't Aschen planets, in which case they had a lot of records to rewrite. Just thinking about the potential accounting and records mistake was beginning to congeal Glaorb, so he simply stopped letting this vibe heat his jelly.

Gently they hummed and jiggled in agreement with Luke. Though they felt the energy practically spilling off of Luke, he was literally heated, this was not what swayed the gelatinous beings. A clean slate was a clean slate, and the Aschen were customers aside. If they were going to make rules everyone should have to follow them. Equals. Communitradion was crucial.

AHSC 'Aurora'
Aurora Class Battleship

Mollem silently waited as everything seemed to fall into place. He stared out the window of the ship towards the larger Coalition fleet playing out before him. He didn't say anything, nor did he give any orders. It seemed he didn't have a plan. Raphael on the other hand sat there silently, before he turned his head to Kianna, and then he looked to Mollem, and he shook his head.

Discreetly his hand played across the crystalline structure of the console, and then he moved over to the central command chair, and he sat down in it. But of course he didn't make it look like he was planning anything, simply he sat.

Kianna returned Raphael's glance but said nothing. It would seem the fiery woman had resigned to Mollem's decision - regardless of his sobriety being well in question at this point. Mollem had already been showing signs of a downward spiral when she had spoken to him on Lamos, and the betrayal of the Pegasus Project had no doubt done little for the man's convictions. She grit her teeth and looked away as she awaited their arrival.

Mollem had it on his face. He had left little to the imagination when it came to his feelings. He simply stood there with a look of resignation on his face. Raphael on the other hand, let his fingers play across the controls at the command chair, eyes still on his father as the bridge window lit up, a series of yellow spherical missile like objects buzzed towards the Coalition fleet. Dozens turned to hundreds as they spread out and moved towards the Coalition fleet, each drone packing the explosive power of a nuclear warhead, with a superheated energy field allowing it to burrow through shields and armor alike. The Drones would move to the Coalition fleet, swarming them and buzzing about while broadcasting a powerful jamming field to throw communications into disarray. Several of the drones broke off and began to home in on FTL Inhibitors while Raphael pulled the ship back.

Kianna glanced between Raphael and Mollem, the brief indecision staying her for only a moment before she grabbed the disruptor pistol from Mollem's hand and leveled it on Raphael. "Get away from the console," she bit out through grit teeth as she stepped towards him.

I intervened in your death, to give you the opportunity to fix everything you screwed up, and give you a new outlook on eternity. Your lies, and your actions, have doomed a people. If it wasn't for you, the idea of the Empire would have fizzled out. You kept him going, you egged him on.

They were Marlene's words which left them greatly subject to suspicion, but there had been validity to them. Kianna had displayed quite well a penchant for provoking Mollem to stand firm when he might have otherwise walked away from it all. If it was her words that were keeping Mollem's vision of the Empire alive, then perhaps the intervention of the alterans had not been to the aim of salvaging the Empire at all.

"Recall the drones, and get away from the console," she repeated, her voice a low growl.

Raphael silently stared at Kianna, the pistol, and then his eye eyes moved to the console. "Put down the weapon." He demanded, then he shot his hand out and he used his abilities to wrench the pistol from her grip.

He then threw a lever forward, and the ship lurched towards the Coalition fleet, before it was engulfed in a hyperspace wormhole not unlike the Bifrost wormhole.

Raphael leaned back and he stared at Mollem. "Someone had to make the decision, to keep this Empire, to keep us alive. I did not come back to this world, to die again at the hands of the Coalition.." He said flatly. Mollem simply stood there saying nothing as Kianna and Raphael argued.

With the ship safely in Hyperspace, he stared at Kianna, then he stared at Mollem. "We're going to see this through to the end. It's not over yet." He said, setting the weapon down. "The war will not end on their terms, it will end on our terms. Those other nations on that station. All potential allies in this fight now that they have seen Coalition aggression."

Kianna narrowed her eyes upon Raphael but offered no words as she simply turned and stalked out of the command room.

Shimizu remained silent as he surveyed and listened to the others in the room. He tapped his slender fingers on his side before he nodded. "I am sure a Blank Slate is agreeable, in light of hostilities with the Aschen. It can be my pleasure in the spirit of cooperation here that I will endeavor to terminate hostilities with them, and approach reform through more peaceful methods." Shimizu said, turning to Cain and the Varden representative. "I will even go a step further and offer aid in light of the bomb that was detonated on their planet, and the riots that plague their home worlds." He said, turning to the rest of the delegations. "Terra is no longer the Center of the Galaxy, this alliance must make efforts to ensure peace and a clean slate across all worlds. I would hope the Coalition is willing to come to the same discussion out of the possibility of being alienated from the rest of the Nations here."

One of the Taiyou soldiers whispered in Shimizu's ear, and the Taiyou prince nodded.

"It seems the Aschen have bowed out." He said calmly, whispering in Taiyou to his adjutant.

Hearing all this, Josiah responded in turn, "My, my I am so happy we can unite here and speak of peace in such obvious crops of aggression. I shall address you all. Of course many are concerned with the deal of Ambassadors and I shall be forthwith, each Nation shall be represented an Ambassador, the Ambassadors shall speak for the Nation on the station and have a suite or attache. Their can be non-political entities on the station, as they would likely to pursue more agreements and further their business, but Eulogy Bastion will not have any Corporations have ambassadors, in the extreme case that a Corporation has gotten control of a planet or nation, they will be expected to enter the agreement but the person chosen as Ambassador must have zero corporate ties. This platform will accept all people, I won't lie, but the Ambassadors and the Crew will have the most power if an Ambassador requests this person or group will be removed. This is all to show the nation that no matter how small you seem in the scheme of things, your opinion matters." with that he paused and nodded before continuing, "If the Aschen wish to be here or wish to make contact with the League their past crimes are considered done, I will caution that I am an ally of the UCON so while I say a clean slate it does not mean we trust you any more. A clean slate is a chance to prove yourself a worthy member of this agreement. This is merely just the first of these meetings, there shall be many more."

Taking a firm stance he went on, "Humanitarian efforts are what I hope for, and with the League forming we can reach out to others quicker, everyone will know what's taking place and no more will people be not privy to concerns. I agree Terra should not be the center of the Galaxy, I have no qualms with the planet, I simply feel having the station in Norma Arm will be better for all and Terra will get as much representation as it desires. The whole point of this is there is no center of this idea, it a circle of Nations who are United by our cause for Peace and Protection. I know many Nations are not represented here, I will welcome all..."

"Final point is thus, I propose fully agree with Leaderless Council, each delegate shall have the power of voting, 'Yes', 'No', 'Abstain' or Veto once, the power to veto will be handed out to all the Nations. I understand you probably feel this is risky, and I of course am of agreement on this, but by doing this we also give the smaller nations more power. They can choose to use that power and act on their concerns."

Now was the point he was most dreading, "People of Mezzadrate and other nations assembled I am King Josiah Liwave of the 21st Noble House and I have been considering something for a long time, with all this I have finally decided now is time. As of today I shall be the final King of Mezzadrate and citizens if you are watching listen well... I wish to remove the power the Noble Houses and I have, we shall become an actual Democracy and my second and most impressive piece of news is to do with the Democratic Coalition... as representative of Mezzadrate I ask to become part of your alliance, the only deal here is thus our agreement with UCON is still solid and if thus is the case then I shall accept... As for you my gooey friends, I am sure we can write out some trade agreements and we can all decide how members of the League work within trading imports and exports. But for now the focus is building the foundations."

Readying to take his seat once more, he ended, "As you can see I am dedicated to this project, so much so I shall make myself the ambassador for Mezzadrate. Any questions or have we reached what could be called an understanding? If this is the case, then I believe we shall all meet again a more neutral location perhaps and meanwhile our main focus is the efforts to help the nations suffering, if you can offer any words on this, that I suppose is the most pressing issue."

Darius took note of Josiah's statements and replied, "I am in agreement as well. A unified council where no one representative has more power then another, is exactly what is needed to make this work. I am also hesitant on the Veto, but understand it's necessity." He then paused and rose form his seat, "I would also like to request the formation of a News broadcast in which every nation represented by the League can gather information related to events that have already taken place, such as Humanitarian efforts and so forth. This will allow all to be up to date on events that affect the League and it's member nations, of course this will also report on the end results of meetings taking place both here and with the council." He paused again looking about trying to get an assessment of the responses from the other representatives, "In addition, I believe a vote should be called form each nation to elect a council representative immediately following the signing of this treaty, this will allow each nation the chance to choose their representative, with the exceptions of nations like the Taiyou over there." he then gestured to Shimizu, "I'm sure his people would elect him anyway, being he is currently their acting ruler." he meant no disrespect by this statement he was simply stating what he believed to be true. He then turned his attention to Josiah, "At last I must ask you, King Josiah. When you stated 'become part of' are you referring to becoming a member race of the Coalition? This is more for my personal clarification then anything else, I'm afraid I did not fully understand what you were suggesting, and I do apologize for that."

(Okay, my post has been deleted twice due to stupid reasons, and tagging is near impossible on an iPad. Sorry I can't tag everyone, but it's just so difficult and I don't have the patience anymore)

Sarasha looked at the people in the room as they talked, and was about to talk herself, but Hadaksha, who had stayed mostly silent during this whole thing, spoke first, in his deep, wise tone, hardened by age. "A clean slate is needed, for us to move on. Our new laws may contridict with things some nations have done in the past that was legal for them, and if we are to look towards the future, we must let go of the past. The Galaxy burns and suffers, and most if not all of us before now have been isolationists, war torn, or warring. And we do not exclude ourselves from this either. But no more! We must set aside our differences and distrust, and work towards something better. You all have come here not for Greed or Power, but for your nations and your people. You have come here for those who have suffered and those who are suffering! You have come for those who will suffer if this is not stopped. You have come for peace, for families, for friends and for loved ones. You have come because you recognize the fate we shall have if we continue on this path. People currently are murdered in their homes or taken by some corrupt Corperation, or some other horrible fate. Citizens of tyrant nations live in fear and brutality. We are here because we recognize this fact, and recognize the future needs to change. You may ask yourselves why I bring this up now, and the answer is simple. Strength. I see our Alliance being forged into a shield that can do all of this, and that is good, but it must be forged strong, and not weak. We must add all we can to strengthen this shield, or it will shatter against those who oppose it. That is why I say this now. Because now that the forging has begun, we must ensure it is forged with strength, with honor, and with wisdom. I say this because I believe together we can make all of our people better, as well as possibly the galaxy itself".

Sarasha was just stunned at Hadaksha, and his words. While she herself could not find words, Artemis could, saying "Well spoken, Hadaksha, my good friend. Ki...Ambassador Josiah Liwave, it is a good man who gives up his own power to give it to the people. Though I hope that your people are ready to force such a thing themselves. It is a people who forces the creation of a Democracy, and your people must be ready to support and take part in such a thing. I wish you good luck, and good years".

Sarasha, who had finally found something close enough to words, simply started clapping a little, smiling. Artemis was impressed, but he did not clap as well. Mainly because, he can't really clap that well.

A scruffy man in overalls pushed a large, round, pink machine on wheels to the center of the convention center; which was fully prepped and ready for the Multiversal Trade Expo. Thousands of booths made up an impressive grid, and the floor to ceiling windows showed vessels arriving by the handful.

The pink machine was deposited in the center of the convention center. It had just one giant button which lit up with every color of the rainbow. An all terrain microphone extended from the top of the thing and could be adjusted based on height. The focus of the machine was the glowing hole in the center, big enough to fit a suitcase!

He looked from left, and then to the right. The scruffy man decided nobody was watching. He pressed the giant button, and what a treat! The whole machine lit up with song! The button cast a rainbow glow over him, scanning to determine his linguistics. It then prompted him to sing a song. The scruffy man was taken aback, but all the more intrigued. He hummed a tune he used to sing as a child over in Grainpaix, a musical city of peace on Terra.

Upon the completion of his song, the large hole shined bright like a diamond. After a moment, a purple frozen treat on a stick appeared- it was a forn-pop! Awesome! The scruffy man grabbed his treat and decided he deserved a break. Out on his ship, Glaorb Nuurk watched with glee!

(Since Rulke was not sure what to post here, got permission from him to talk about LogicRoad being here as well. :) )

A young boy was browsing the variety of small stores and shops, from XX Industries, to some non-company but independent tech inventors, looking and browsing through everything. He was wearing a black and white hoodie with panda ears on it, and a panda face on the front of the hood. It also had two pockets and a zipper, instead of the one pocket with no zipper. He had with him a small, robotic drone...or at least, it was what it appeared like, and even basic scans would indicate such. He was wearing jeans and boots as well, but the boots were built for both durability and running. He had a pair of headphones on him, and he was enjoying his music while still paying attention. However, while something odd could be seen, though he never had his head up much, did keep his hood up, and never looked at people directly with his red eyes which could also stand out. But even if it was difficult, if one saw his face clearly they would notice that there was a barcode under his left eye, on his cheek. If his hood was not up, maybe his white hair might stand out too.

And if cameras tried to look at him, they would find their focusing would be off.

As he saw more things such as Z-something industries, or some company named after a planet, and also even saw a booth for Unicef, he came across three that looked particularly interesting. The first was a small tech company, nameless and unimportant and was no threat towards the major industries, yet also was not in danger of being absorbed, having some rather nice tech. Ixam was interested in tech, possibly the biggest techie of all the Rixy Siblings.

The second was some sort of large display, with PR people, advertizements, and everything, set up by LogicRoad. It seemed to be about drugs and Pharmasuticals, and all about helping people. "We go many places in life, but with us the logical road is chosen" seemed to be their motto, and was not only displayed but broadcasted. They were explaining how they had made progress towards another breakthrough, in terms of creating medicine that would work for everyone regardless of bloodtype, gender, or race. It spoke about how they were continueing the mission to spread good health, and mentioned how lifespans had been expanded. They also had a showcase of new drugs on the market that would be helpful, and spoke of their great projects.

The final one was...had something with a rainbow glow, and appeared to attract some customers. Was that food? The man was also humming a tune Ixam never heard before. It seemed that this pink machine was a central piece as well.

As he quickly paid for and bought some of the tech from the first place, including some new tech called Triggers, he took out his phone and called his brother.

"What is it, Ixam? I am busy".

"Sure sure Rin, finding out about the people who might come after us. Anyways, the encoders are far too complicated to be at risk so its not like it's a threat. Anyways, I found some good tech. Not normal tech that we see either. Trion based I think. We should try to utilize it, and show it to Ixian. Last time, it was a good addition".

"Fine fine, but I am busy. Anyways, be careful. I don't care how strong we are, we cannot assume we are the strongest! Goodbye!"

His brother, Axoren Rixy, better known as Rin, hung up on him. Rin was friendly and talkative sometimes, but he also tended to work a lot even though he was probably the sneakiest and the hardest to track of them all. In truth, although Ixian was probably the most powerful, the most dangerous might be Rin, in his opinion.

After that, he observed the other two from a safe distance, close enough to see what was going on and take notice, but he didn't want to get too close either. Especially LogicRoad, because he did not have a good relation with scientists in the past.

The faint sound of bass permeated the room, growing louder and louder as moments rapidly passed. There was a commotion outside of the main room. Just as Kesslee opened the doors to depart, he would find a blue gelatinous being occupying the rest of the doorway.

"Shloo!" Glaorb jiggled a greeting. He had on his back, or what was probably his back, a large hot pink case of sorts. It loudly boomed foreign music. Behind him painted ladies scrambled to compose themselves, staff rushed to fill bizarre requests, and literally everyone tried to find where they put their earplugs. Glaorb jiggled in such a way that the backpack-speaker-thing ceased making 'music'. A tentacle-esque gelatin limb extended itself towards Prince, another one extending up to wave at the others, and yet another limb formed to simply waggle along in the air.

"Layt, yiss. But present!" He took in the energy of the room. Tense. Not good for business. He blobbed his way to an empty seat, swung the hot pink case onto the ground, and immediately began rummaging in it. They had intercepted a transmission regarding this peace and trade conference. It was encrypted, which meant little to Glaorbs people, as puzzles and patterns came second to music as Very Important.

Procuring a Forn-Pop, Glaorb happily began to ingest the treat. He popped it out of what must have been his mouth and waved it around, offering everyone else one as well. Not this one specifically, of course. There were plenty of fresh pops in the case. After all, what use was it to do business at a trade and peace conference if he didn't at least bring everyone a sample?

The Aschen have left. And with their exit, another being has entered. They appear with loud, bass-ridden music and speak with a distinct accent. The mood of the room has shifted again. Thrawn has nothing to bring to the table, and decides it is time to return to Terra.

Thrawn stands, and offers the room a cordial bow. "I will take my leave. Thank you for having me, it was... a pleasure to meet you all." he said, before turning to the new comer. "Forgive me for leaving abruptly. But i have other duties to attend to."

With that, Thrawn, Kinara, and the guards he brought with him, boarded their shuttle, amd returned to their ship, taking off for Terra.

Kesslee promptly returned to the meeting hall with a somewhat grave expression on his face, He briefly approached the Emperor and leaned forward to whisper something into Prince's ear.

"Sire; a reconnaissance fleet has made contact with hostiles in a nearby system." Kesslee reported, before he passed the Emperor a data-slate showing the engagement in the nearby EK-729 system.

"This region of space is close to this system; relatively speaking." Kesslee reported, inclining his head respectfully to Isambard. "The fleet there will hold until you've returned to Langara."

Offering a slight nod, Prince turned to Kesslee. "Have the Langaran fleet make the jump to the nearby system, I'll take the Gigashadow back to Langara, and meet with the Minister of Defense, and the Quorum to determine a course of action."

Rising from his seat, Prince looked to Tetris. "If you have any forces available, I need you to take them to the EK-729 system, and see if they can render assistance to the Aschen fleet there. It's currently under attack by unknown aliens. They have not given their intention, so we can only assume the worst." Prince said, turning to Shimizu.

The Taiyou Emperor simply shook his head.

"I'll see what I can spare in the sector."

"Grand Confessor, take command of the fleet. Render assistance to Admiral Nash, and beat back these Aliens."

The grand Confessor nodded, as Prince stood up, and the two of them headed out of the meeting room.

Tetris took in all the conversation and was about to have a say on the new arrivals before the Prince interrupted her. Hearing the request, she mentally contacted one of her advisors.

CT-8 Ais'aell'ss, did you receive that? Put out a missive of critical importance. I want CT-6 K'las'ga to lead a fleet in that direction. She will know what to do with the information from there. Forward all relevant info to her and make sure it is understood that this is a priority task on my orders directly.

Yes...understood CT-10...she shall be informed...I have already sent the missive through the appropriate channels...CT-8 Astragalus recommended 3000 ships and approved a deployment appropriate for the occasion...it shall be done, roger roger...!

With apologies concerning the matter, Tet'ris exited the meeting in a polite and amicable fashion. Emergencies called for such. With her entourage, she quickly hurried back onto her shuttle. From there, she returned to her ship, and the fleet itself would then leave the system as quickly as they were able to arrive to start.

Seki stared like a stone cold statue as she watched the Aschen and their allies rush out of the hall. Even the blue Terran left. Seki really didn't know why he even came.. spying most likely... She would have to ask her Terran contacts later about him...

Seki's face turned annoyed as the slime thing entered and was about to say something when Kyritha leaned over and whispered to her in Mauhasinan. ["Maybe... we should help them?"]

Seki turned a glare to Kyritha and shot back in Mauhasinan. ["Help the assholes that insult and threaten us? I think not...Let them burn..."]

Kyritha frowned. ["You know my people's..."] she started.

["Fine... but Send the legion...Should peace be made here I will consider sending in My people..."]

Kyritha knew that was the best she was going to get so she stepped out for a moment to contact one of her Knight-Commanders.

Seki sighed and looked back at the room and speaking in the common now asked. "Does anyone else have to go or shall we speak about the peace treaty between my people and the Imperium now?"

Glaorb sat quietly. He nudged the case. It began to glow, blinking multicolored every few seconds before softly pulsing purple. Wuth every purple pulse a forn pop materialized before all remaining occupants. Glaorb would observe. He would decide whether or not these nations were worthy of business with his people. Sure, they could get their product through suppliers. But not at the rates, or speed, they were able to offer. Certainly not the quality of product, either!

At ships hurriedly vanishing from the area the leviathan beneath the waters of reality grew concerned. Myrkul consulted the Jinhai's Almanac for threats to the Imperium. Then the smaller corups of the Administratum. Clairvoyance cast throughout the system looking for the presence. Though it saw nothing in proximity nor an obvious threat to its sub-beings felt the matter of concern. Astartes of the Imperium often trailed by Jinhai thus frequently knew of their tasks. In this case it interrogated the Alamanac sifting through millions of hours of recorded memory from each concordance. Gaining an overview of movements within much of the Imperium. Many with their common urgency in the north near Mada Sybil though made note of her difficulty. There had been ships moved but the Jinhai knew not where. The Administratum's Almanac produced a notation of an emergency call in distant reaches of space. A call for distress by the Ashen humankind? A place distant its clairvoyance cast across the depths of space for a bare hazy eye on its proximity. A battle pitched of motes attacking a titan. Easily equal to itself in the least of personal power. A collection of recognizable ships as the Black Templar. It felt they may require reinforcement but the situation left to the Emperor.

A telekinetic whisper in the ears of the Emperor of Man and the two Primarchs. Though the latter more of efficiency than urgency.

Ever placid it summarized, "We observe ships leaving and surveil the Almanac. There is a developing threat unknown to us attended by Ashen and Black Templar.
We sense something has breached the walls between realities. We do not feel it is Chaos Aetherkind but to cross the barrier brings with it great power."

The two Primarchs it spoke to at once, "We advise without urgency, sons of the Living Emperor, Mada Sybil heard the call for Mechanicus to improve a Thunderhawk. We provided her leave to submit her own. It is upon Terra and the Imperial Fists if either of you choose to consider. Delivered with the first mass-manifestation nodes for Terra's defense direct from her forge tesseract. Imperial Guard attend the cargo. The true rekindled Otto Hannig escaped there from the First Machine. Purity proven by willpower against Daemonkind. He now serves there."
