Outfit - Electronic eye patch with connections into his brain to allow him to see out of his right eye. A really long, and high collared leather duster with rips and tears here and there. A collar around his neck. Torn black shirt under the coat. Black goth combat boots. various rings and bracelets, and black leather pants with all sorts of fun little chains and zippers and rings on them.

Tattoos - The Greek word Ήλιος, tattooed going vertically on his right fore arm.

Scars - None, unless you count him missing his right eye as a scar

Piercings - both of his ears

Personality

Ilios seems to be more comfortable around other Ancient Humans. The Terran Humans are far too primitive for his tastes, even though he was one of the original engineers that helped in the design of the New Humans. Though he doesn't hate them... He just thinks of them as... lesser beings in his universe. Though eons ago, one particular primitive human did catch his eye, however he died, whilst he was being experimented on, which left Ilios with a hole in his heart that could never be filled. Atleast so he thinks. His general demeanor towards anything other than Ancient human is rather nonchalant... almost as if he could care less.

Ilios :: To anyone who find's this recording... Albeit Ancient or New Human.... I do not care. If you are hearing this then it means that I have been locked away for a very long time. My name is Ilios, what I am is unimportant, what I need YOU, the listener, to do is. Somewhere beneath the surface of this planet is the ruin of a very ancient space ship. You must find this ship and locate a pod about the size of a canoe within it. If you fail in finding this ship, and it has been over ten thousand years since the ship has been buried, then I am mostlikely dead by now.... and located within the device that you found this recording in are coordinates to an Intellegence outpost in the outer rim of this galaxy. There you will find technology and information beyond your comprehension.... However... first you must find a way in..... without me... That will be rather difficult... So I would prefer that you found me before I... er... Died.

Although, I suppose I should tell you about me just incase I do not make it. My name is Ilios.... I am an Ancient Human, not of the planet terra or earth, but a planet far, far, far beyond the stars. I realize that this may rewrite history books where you are from, but I along with several other scientists engineered you.... Or... Your predecessors.... Why did we create you? I'm sure that's been on your minds ever since you were first capable of cognitive thought. We created you, so that we might understand ourselves better. We created you, incase some sort of cataclysm wiped us out and some form of us would live on. We created you, simply because we could. Now, now, don't be angry...... But in your later years.... We wanted to destroy you. But no matter how many times we tried.... You always seemed to come crawling out whatever crevice you managed to squeeze yourselves into. It was astounding really.... It was a rather quiet and peaceful night within the Ruins. Crickets chirping here and there, the occasional owl or bat flying over head. Nothing could possibly be more peaceful, except maybe a monestary... but that's besides the point. As the old ruins moaned and groaned as the wind rushed through it, something seemed a bit off. Like there was something in the air... Of course that something in the air was Nuclear radiation seeping up through the ground.... Though it wasn't harmful enough to kill anyone... And deep beneath the surface of the Ruins lay an ancient derelict ship of unknown origin. It's Core was beginning to enter the final stages of melt down before the computer's internal systems deactivated the core entirely, destroying any life that may have been left alive within the Stasis pods. However, all the other stasis pods but one had been damaged, and inside layed the last of the Ancient Humans... Perfectly preserved for a little over ten thousand years. However, inside the windowless metal stasis pod, there seemed to be some sort of conundrum... The Ships computer had been diverting power from all other systems to this pod... Determined to keep this specimen alive.

As soon as the device was within the area of The Ruins it would activate... only this time it wasn't Ilios speaking. It was some sort of computerized male voice. "Please proceed to marked location." The voice stated as a rather annoying beeping sound began to ring from the device. As the device spoke, a hologram of a humanoid figure would walk out of the thing and stand at a specific spot, in a rather particular stance. "Please proceed to marked location. Keep hands to your sides at all times." The voice repeated the device still beeping.

As the device neared the location, the ship beneath the surface of the ruins began to 'wake up' as it were. Almost as if the device that the device above had activated it by remote. Except only certain areas of the ship were powering up.... And those areas were a straight path to the Stasis room. All the while, as the rest of the ship powered up, a teleporter had begun to lock onto the signal that the recording/ homing device had been putting out.

"This unit cannot be incinerated" the device would retort to Reilly. "Commencing teleportation process." The device said and five white dots would appear vertically infront of Reilly and begin to rotate around her rather quickly as the teleporter began to disassemble her atom by atom and reassemble those atoms in a small tube all in the correct places.

"Please proceed along the highlighted path." A deeper electronic voice would speak as the door to the teleporter would slide open to the dimly lit teleporter room. "Please proceed to Stasis control room 0-1-3-5-5" The voice repeated as blinking lights began to guide Reilly through the tall cooridors of the immensely sized ship.

"This unit informs the carrier that in order to open the pod you must place this unit onto the panel." The device in Reilly's hand spoke, seeming to have some form of limited A.I.

Soon Reilly had reached the end of her journey and as she entered the stasis room, the lights would come on and there would be a single, and rather tall, stasis pod sitting vertically in the center of the room. "Please, place this unit into the inventory slot of the stasis pod. Then you will be done with us." The device said.

"Wrist device detected... It is time to awaken, Master Ilios." An electronic female voice would say from within the Pod. A gas would then fill the pod and begin to awaken the resident within the thing. As he came to.... He looked around the pod and remembered where he was. However... he would not be able to get out until the device that the creature had been carrying was in the pod with him.

As the woman placed the device into the inventory slot a door would close over it and the device would wrap itself around his left wrist. As it did the stasis pod would open and the gas owuld clear out and the restraints would release. A very naked.... and very tall... one eyed humanoid man would fall to his knees on the floor with some sort of breathing apparatus on his face. He threw his hands to the back of his head and tore the thing from his face, and with it, a tube and a small round device that connected into Ilios's lungs. He would then toss the thing away and just sit there on all fours.... naked... Coughing up a green, and slightly red from blood, substance onto the shiny metal floors. "Fuck....." he said and began another coughing fit. "H-How... How long?" He said in a low voice and just seemed to stare at the green goo.

"I was not speaking to you..." He said and repeated the question to the computer. "How long?" He asked the computer. The female robotic voice would chime in. "Tenthousand, sevenhundred and fifty six days." As the creature began to shoo him out of the room he would tear the Hazmat suit's mask off, pick her up by the neck and pin her against the wall. "You come within two feet of me with any manner of device used for dissection and I will literally tear you limb from limb. Do I make myself clear?" he said to her looking dead at her eyes with his one good eye. His other just an empty socket with some sort of metal baseplate in it.

However, soon after, he would drop her and slide a chair over to her. "Sit down." He commanded and proceeded over to another section of the wall and run his finger along it. Not seconds after, a locker would come out of the wall and open, with all of Ilios personal affects within it.... Especially his 'eye-patch', which he grabbed first and securely attatched all of the wirings to the proper outlets and securely strapped to his face. Once that was complete, he moved some hair out of the way and began to run a scan on the creature before him... still naked of course.

Ilios placed a finger onto the wall and the door leading out closed right before Reilly could get to it. "Sit... Down. Filthy Primitive." he said and began to put his pants on, along with his torn shirt, collar and the rest of his clothing. "First of all... Don't tempt me. Second.... Don't tempt me." he said, the second 'dont tempt me' pertaining to when Reilly said fuck off. "And Thirdly. I have questions.... Questions you will answer, or you will never get out of here... alive that is." The rather tall man said with a crack of his neck. As he spoke, the scans came back negative... This creature posed absolutely no threat to him.

"Sit down, please." He said, a little more kindly now. "Forgive my outburst... Ten-thousand years in a stasis pod will do that to you." He said and let out a sigh as he put on his coat and tied his boots.

"Not yet..." He said picking up a small device, put it into the roof of his mouth and pressed a couple of buttons on the wrist device, which was also the device that Reilly had been carrying. "hold out your hand. Please?" He requested and kneeled next to the wolf, or perhaps fox, woman. "You complain that you are too old, yet my scans say you are not a day over thirty four. This will calm you down... and have you feeling as young and spry as a teenager." He said and pulled a pen like device and pressed it against Reilly's neck and pressed the cap, injecting some sort of drug into her system to help calm her down and help with her 'feelings of oldness'. "you mentionied that you were getting paid for finding me? Who is paying you?" he said and put the pen back into his pocket. "Since you found me, you shall house me, until I am able to find a dwelling of my own." he said and scratched just under the eyepatch. "I am Ilios, as I have mentioned in the recording." He said placing a hand over his heart and giving a slight bow, he was speaking rather rapidly now.

"Yes but what I injected you with will repair the body that you are currently in... What ever it is that you are. My scans picked up the rapid decay of flesh and bone. Much more rapid than it should. THerefore... I fixed the problem. You should start to feel younger within the hour as the serum repairs, restores, and rejuvinates your body... And your mind. You'll also begin to feel slightly less irritable. Which is why i injected it in the first place. I hate attitudes. Especially when that attitude is coming from one of my 'side projects'." He said and scratched his chin and walked over to a monitor.

"How far are we underground?" He asked the monitor. He asked and began to put his fingers on the side of the monitor and simply stare at it. "We are 3.25 kilometers underground, Master Ilios. SHall I prepare the Digger?" THe computer asked and he would back away from the monitor. "Hmm.... I Believe you should... Because I'm certainly not taking the teleporter."

As he heard the woman mention money he simply chuckled. "My people had evolved past the need for petty monetary things such as money." He said with a smile. "Essentially, I'm broke."

"YEs... I understand the interrogation and the want to find my planet part... but Genocide? We are your creators.... Why would you destroy those that created you?" He said with araised brow, not quite understanding of these primitive creatures.

"YEs I see that you are clean...." he said with a chuckle and proceeded over to another piece of wall and ran his hand horizontally along it and a drawer with all sorts of gadgets popped out of it. "Definately going to need these..." he said and put on two ring like devices and placed them into his ears. "And this... And these." he said placing a device over his belt buckle and two little discs one each ankle. "Tell me, Reilly, who is paying you to find me?"

"Sorry.... I must have forgotten when you told me initially." He said and cracked his neck. "Look.... We can do this the easy way and you be all nice, and compliant and such, i already agreed to let you, and you alone, dissect me. He said with a slight chuckle as he plucked a small metal tube from the drawer and unscrewed the top. "Hmm... Not exactly fresh... but it'll do for now." he said and resealed it and stuffed it into his coat pocket. "Shall we proceed to the digger then, my sivery haired, ill tempered, Creature?" He inquired with a rather charming smile.

The Ancient simply sighed and walked over to Reilly and kneel down next to her. "Look.... We don't have time to discuss this. This ship is entering the final stage before shut down... If we don't get out of here within the next.... Oh... I'd say about two to three hourse. We will be locked in here, forever. So, please, calm your mind and come with me... The teleporter only had enough power for one jump. That jump was you. Now we have to get out of here manually." He said and put a hand on Reilly's shoulder. "Now, can we please proceed to the hangar without the senseless bickering? I'm getting a bit of a headache." He sighed and stood back up and proceeded to a door on the opposite side of the room. "This way."

Of course... he wasn't joking then. "I Think I might enjoy working for you." he said and scratched his chin, which had a bit of scruff on it. "By the way, I wasn't joking about that kiss... I believe you and I could both benefit from such a relationship." He said as they came upon a wall. He placed his hand upon the wall to see if it would open into a door. "There seems to be something blocking this door on the other side..." He said and then made a sharp right and began heading down the adjacent cooridoor. "Seems we're going to have to take a detour."

"You might want to avert your eyes." he said and opened the door to a rather large room with giant tubes with other aliens and humans and even creatures similar to Reilly herself within these containment tubes. There were hundreds of these tubes! Each with a different creature being grown in it. Some human, some animal... some a combination of both! However as he reached the other end of the room he would notice that one of the tubes was broken and had claw marks on the inside. "We need to hurry..." he said and began to walk faster, and seing as though the female had been getting tired, and would only slow him down if she remained on foot, he scooped her up and began running down the cooridor. "No time to explain! A beast, excaped... probably reproduced. We need to get as far away from that room as possible."

"You don't understand.... The Synx are not to be toyed with.... They cannot be contained.... Atleast not forvery long, and they cannot be killed, merely sedated. Albeit a single Synx is relatively harmless... even, playful, but any more than one.... And you have a global cataclysm on your hands." He explained and put her down. "Collect samples... But hurry... I don't like the Idea of being locked in the same room as one of those creatures. Where I am from.... we call them... 'the Hungry Darkness'... They eat, and eat and eat... and never get full. The worst part is.... THey're about as clever one of my people... They're smart." And as he turned around to shut the door a small white furred, rather cute creature was sitting in the doorway staring up at him with big blue eyes. It was making cute little cooing sounds and purring noises. "Don't make any sudden moves..." he said as he looked down at the creature. "And for goodness sake... don't make eyecontact."

"That's just a baby..." He said and the creature tilted it's head and gave the two of them a big, razor sharp smile. Ilios slowly put Reilly onto the ground once more so that he wouldn't startle the small creature. "Easy there, sweetie..." He said kneeling down slowly and holding his hand out to it. The creature would sniff his hand and climb up his arm and onto his shoulder. "Trust me.... These creatures are plenty smart and clever. They understand every known language in the universe. So far, the only way that my people ever found how to destroy them, was with nanites. I'm sure this little thing is eagerly listening to everything i have to say about it... Isn't that right?" he said and looked to the creature. The little thing simply smiled it's big, creepy, smile once more and looked over to Reilly still smiling. "This one is Female..." he said and brushed a finger over the top of it's head. "Males usually have goat-like horns." He said and the creature licked his finger. "It seems this one was exposed to human contact... They usually aren't this friendly."

"It doesn't want to go back." He said and walked to the door. "it's parents don't want it. The way it's tail is wrapping around my neck tells me that it has been abandoned and need some one to take the place of it's parents... And you are correct.... however this little creature is coming with us." he said and the little creature made a small barking noise and then a small whimper. Which was a whimper of fear, not sadness or loneliness... The little one could sense the other gods know how many Synx nearby, which were clinging to the cieling to the room, and looking down at the three of them with their creepy toothy smiles. "Yes.... I believe it would be best if we left... now." He said slowly backing to the door and sliding it open. "Don't you agree?" He asked Reilly with a nervous chuckle as he looked up to the cieling. "Don't look up." He said. "I mean it... Don't look up." he repeated. Of course, he knew that she was probably going to look up anyways and in that case, the was prepared to snatch Reilly up and begin running down the cooridor once more.

"You are perhaps the angriest creature I have ever encountered." he sighed and began to walk down the cooridor and seal the door behind them. "Why are you such an angry individual?" He finally asked her as they neared the door to the hangar, it opening automatically as they neared it. "There, that's our ticket out of here." He said pointing to a vehicle that looked something like an APC with some sort of lazer drill mounted on the front.

As he approached the thing he opened the door and the small synx crawled in. "Ladies first." He said and lifted Reilly off the ground and helped her into the vehicle... seeing asthough there was a bit of a steep step to get into the thing, then pulled himself into it and shut the door. He crawled his way to the pilot's seat and exhaled slowly and placed his hands onto two square panels on what seemed to be a dash board and the vehicle started. "Autopilot... Take us to the surface." he said and the chair rotated around and the vehicle began to run through the hangar, bust through the wall, and dig it's away upward. "There... On our way out. Happy now?" He asked and the synx, which was sitting next to Reilly crawled over her lap and into Ilios's. "Er.... Looks like You won't have to deal with this 'walking stomach'. Seems she's taken a liking to me."

"Freakishly tall? No no... I am average height for my kind. You, my dear, are simply freakishly short." He retorted as she called him tall. "This is how tall humans used to be. Er... Well... On the planet where I'm from. and to answer your other question, yes. THough not everything is preprogrammed. For example... This thing... it originally did not have an auto pilot... However i installed one as soon as i placed my hands onto these markers. "he said and pointed to the square platforms where he had placed his hands earlier. "My people have developed the ability to communicate and control machines with a mere thought." he explained and began to pet the creature in his lap, which had fallen asleep. "Though something as large as that ship... would have required more than myself to try and disable shutdown. Though it is possible... but it would have taken way too long." he said stood up from his chair and cracked his back. "What do you mean Scape Goat?"

ER... metaphorically speaking of course." he said trying to avoid insulting the woman. "How are you feeling? Do you feel the serum taking affect?" He inquired and sat down next to Reilly. The Ancient would remove a silver tube from his coat pocket and snap the cap off of it and stick his finger into it and get a bit of blu-ish goo onto it and rub it onto the sides of his neck, and under his eyes, then close the thing and place it back into his coat. "There.... Hopefully those wont show up for another couple of years." he said under his breath. "Atleast until I can manufacture more of these cells."

"It repairs any and all damage done at the genetic level. By damage I mean mutations. Minor side affect from the genetic manipulation of my race. We all have gills and little pits pits under our eyes that allow us to read electro magnetic waves in the air." He explained and cracked his neck. "That goo.... hides those mutations. Covers them if you will with a thin layer of skin, that slowly degrades over the time period of a few months." He said and leaned back against the seat and threw an arm over it, to where the arm was just over Reilly's head. "The drowziness is a mild side effect of the serum. Why don't you take a nap? When you awaken you'll feel right as rain?" He raised a brow aswell as he looked down at her.

"Suit yourself, though the likely hood of your falling asleep before you reach your dwelling are seventy percent. The odds are against you, miss Reilly." He chuckled and tapped his fingers on the seat. "And the reasoning behind my injecting you with it was, i had saw that your body was decaying unbelievably fast. That wasn't normal... so I fixed it. I thought it would help you. Er... well I had calculated that there were more benefits to you having a repaired body than a decayed one. You could get more of whatever it was you do done. and so forth. THere are no bad side effects from this... other than the drowziness.. but that's just a one time thing I swear." he said with a wave of his hand and the little creature hopped onto the seat and layed it's head onto his lap. "See? Synx Agrees with me."

"Just go to sleep... You have my word that I shall not do anything 'funny'. If i do, Synx will bite me." He said observing her yawns and listened to her as she spoke. "Well I thought you would say no. Therefore, without asking i was able to do it anyway. Reguardless. I don't do anything if some one does not allow me to do it... Usually. I do have some manner of self control." He said and pet the little animal's head, which then gave a little toothy yawn of it's own and looked at Reilly with it's big blue eyes, ears perked up.
