Description

Isaac Reece Morris
Theme: Your Mistake - A Skylit Drive
Image Song: The Homecoming - Coheed and Cambria

GENERAL INFORMATION

Gender: Male
Nickname(s)/Alias(es): Isaac only has two nicknames, and they are, of course, deriatives of his name. The first is Ike, which he goes by the most, and the second is Reece, which is used exclusively by either family or extremely close friends.
Age: Eighteen
Love Interest: N/A

APPEARANCE
Height: 5 ft 7 in (171 cm)
Weight: 120 lbs (54.4 kg)
Build: Lithe
Hair Color: Light Red
Eye Color: Light Red
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: Although his body remains free from any piercings or tattoos, Ike unfortunately bares many scars and markings such as bruises due to frequent beatings he receives from his peers, which has resulted in a major reason why he averts from social contact.

Description: Ike has a laid-back appearance and is inferior in stature to many around him. His hair is red, and short in length, often appearing rather unkempt. Although it does appear to be healthy, Ike's attempts to maintain it are futile because it is often the first thing messed up before he is beat on. His eyes are also red, a shade very similar to that of his hair. The pupils of his eyes take the shape of the four pointers of a compass, and are a darker red color rather than black. This is an unexplained trait. He is a thin teen with a short build and he wears the usual school uniform of where he attends classes. When not in his uniform, he has been seen wearing a normal sweatshirt and jeans. He seems to slouch while sitting and buckles his knees near his midsection.

His expressions tend to come off as gloomy at times, but that's appropriate given the context of most situations he finds himself in. He tends to shrink in on himself when in the presence of other people, and will hold one arm with another as an attempt to shy even further away. His face seems rather child like, given him an even younger look along with his small stature, and his cheeks are often affixed in a deep blush, whilst several other areas of his face seem to be bandaged. These areas include the bridge of his nose, and often his jaw as well.

Preferred Clothing: Ike generally is found wearing his school uniform, but outside of this, he is prone to wear loose, baggy clothes.

MENTALITY
Oddities: The bandages on his face, his small stature, and his pupils.
Skills: Ike is very skilled at cooking, and due to frequent beatings, has a very conditioned tolerance to pain. He's also rather flighty given his stature.
Likes: Thunderstorms, the spring and autumn seasons, rain, cats, and spicy food.
Dislikes: Snow, cold weather, the winter and summer seasons, heat, cold winds, sweet and bitter things, and dogs.
Hobbies: Cooking, running, reading, painting, and looking at the stars.

Phobia(s):
Agliophobia - Fear of pain.
Demophobia - Fear of crowds.
Scolionophobia - Fear of school.
Isolophobia - Fear of being alone.

Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality: His social skills are poor at best; his shy demeanor and quiet voice make him an easy target for bullying. He appears to be weak-minded, though this would be incorrect. He is normally quiet, and this makes me come across as emotionless a lot of times. Despite this, Ike can be very talkative, and even expressive when alone with the right person, depending on if they're able to press all the right buttons to actually get him to open up.

Because of this, he often carries himself by trying to make himself appear even more smaller than he already is, hoping that it will make him less of a target when in fact, it does not. Underneath the surface, however, Ike is a very complex person, and actually pretty resilient when it comes to certain things. Along with this passionate side, however, there is a side that can come off as rather cold, and even violent sometimes.

All in all, he's actually a kind-hearted boy who deeply cares for his family and friends. A strong-willed individual, he is willing to do anything in order to protect them despite his dislike of violence.

BACKGROUND
Relationship Status: Single
Family: Sister - Emma Morrison [Deceased]
Though his relationship with his now dead sister isn't very discussed much by him, it can be observed from an outside perspective that he loved her very much, and gets very defensive and even extremely upset at mention of her.

So begins...

To be honest, Ike wasn't really surprised to find himself laying in an alley, beaten and bruised and tossed aside onto a pile of trash like some busted toy. Maybe it was an appropriate place for him, people did think he was trash after all. What other reason would they have for the constant mistreatment they subjected him to? It wasn't like he ever did anything to deserve what happened to him.

And so he lay there, exasperated, and finding himself deserving on the place he had been put. He didn't bother to move from the trash, nor did he attempt to brush aside the debris and old vegetable peels from his hair.

He wasn't even sure if he was visible from the entrance to the alley. Sure, his hair might be able to pick up on placed against the rather drab backdrop of the alley. Then again, it was still dark considering the sun set had just begun to rise.

Ike didn't offer much but a slight tilt of the head as he focused his eyes on the young looking man now addressing him. His pupils, shaped like four points on a compass, danced back and forth as he focused in on the man, and then the orb the man seemed to be holding. He wasn't sure if he should be threatened, but given the things that often happened to him, it was better to play it safe. He didn't like interaction that much, anyway.

He lay there for a little bit more before pressing his palms flat against the trash bags underneath him and pushing himself into a sitting up position. One hand rose to brush whatever things had made his hair their home, and then moved to grab the middle of his other arm. Ike, already small in stature, then attempted to shrink into himself as he contemplated on how to answer the man.

He moved the hand on his arm up and down a bit before finally standing up and glancing up at the man's eyes before casting them back to the ground.

"I-I'm alright..." It was a quiet reply, and he appeared timid as he said it, trailing the sentence off nervously.

"U-underage..." It was all he could manage before seemingly flinching away from the man as he slung the orb over his shoulder. His eyes danced about again, from the ground to the man's eyes, and he shuffled one foot nervously on the gravel beneath him.

He remained silent after that, he wasn't really the type to engage in too in depth of conversation, let alone attempt to keep it going.

Ike shuffled his foot again, lowering the placement of the hand wrapped around his arm. He was becoming slightly less tense with this man, but he still seemed to shy away from him every time he talked.

"Does just sitting there and take it count as f-fighting?" A full sentence this time, the man had accomplished a great feat indeed.

Ike stared at the sword on the ground, taking a step away from it and beginning to furiously shake his head before the cloak landed on his head and he ended up stumbling, falling backward and landing on his rear.

He frantically grasped at it before pulling it away and off of him, beginning to shake his head again.

"N-no, no, no, no. I d-don't like violence. I would never use a w-weapon." He used a hand to push himself up and to a standing position again before picking up the sword and ushering it back into the man's hands. He moved to do the same with the cloak, but hesitated and pulled it to his chest instead.

"I can take this, though. T-thanks...." A deep blush filled his face as he lowered his eyes to look at it.

Although he tried his best to remain looking confident as he walked into the bar, an environment he was completely out of place in, mind you, it was largely a pretense.

In reality he was scared, ridiculously so, and threatened by nearly every single patron the bar held. It didn't help that his small stature worked against him, working in unison with the bandages that adorned his face to make him stand out when all he wanted to do was to shrink into himself and disappear.

To be honest, he wasn't exactly sure why he had even entered the place, and he wasn't sure how he managed to overcome his intense fear of any situation that involved social contact. But he had, and he found himself walking towards an empty booth far out of the way to sit in.

Perhaps it was looking for a friend, or... something. Or maybe just an escape.

Isaac perked his head up from his arms slightly as he saw another boy that looked to be around his stature enter. It was sort of weird for him, to see somebody that wasn't bigger than he was. He kept staring until the boy seemingly vanished into thin air, and he then found himself sitting up straight, alarmed.

Had he just gone invisible? Did he teleport?

He found himself looking around the room for him, but really didn't pick up on anything. He was, however, conveniently looking in the right direction at the right time when the boy did show up again, this time with a soft drink, which Ike assumed he had stolen.

He didn't even mind that fact, however, and began to think about how envious he was, and how much he wanted to have that power. He often found himself hoping he could disappear, but he never could, and so he always got beat up. Ike took a couple of deep breaths before managing to muster up the courage to approach the boy.

When he reached him, he raised a hand to grab at the middle of his arm and seemed to turn slightly away from the boy.

"H-hello..."

"U-um... I'm o-okay, you?"

Ike didn't pick up on that it was a question more out of concern rather than just general conversation making, and so he responded to it treating it as such. Not that he did it well, his usual social interactions resulted in him taking repeated hits to the face and body.

He shifted uncomfortably for a moment, constantly changing which arm he was holding before speaking up again, a warm blush rising in his cheeks.

"I s-saw you... G-going invisble." The last word seemed to falter to a whisper as he talked, causing Ike to take a step back.

Ike attempted to say yes, but it came out essentially inaudible and so he nodded affirmatively instead. He grabbed the sleeve of the boy and dragged him to the booth he had been prior, which was actually a pretty bold move for him. He let the boy's sleeve go so he could slide himself onto the bench and against the wall, seeming to shrink into himself after he had done so, turning his gaze back up the one he had just dragged.

"Um... My name is I-Ike. W-what's y-yours?"

Ike lowered his eyes to the table before raising them back up to meet Adrian's, offering a genuine smile, which was a pretty rare occurrence as well. "N-nice to meet you, too."

He struggled for words after Adrian had asked him about his bandages for apparently a third time now and found himself looking back down at the table. It wasn't that he didn't mind talking about it, but as he was sure the boy had already noticed, he just had trouble talking. At all.

"O-oh, I usually have them on. I get b-beat up a l-lot."

Ike found himself nodding in reply again, because he couldn't find the right words. School had been an appropriate guess, considering he was currently wearing the uniform, baggy sleeves and all. He raised a hand to rub his nose before lowering it to grasp at his arm once more.

"I don't know w-why, but it seems to be by everybody. Even outside of s-school." He was getting to the point where he could say words better, which was a good thing. He generally was easier to talk to if the right person could press the right buttons.

"They're right..." Of course they were, what consequences could they ever be subjected to? Ike wasn't able to do anything in retort, all he could do effectively was curl up and take the torment. He had gotten used to it anyway, it was just a daily routine for him now. Hell, maybe stopping them would throw him off. Maybe he needed them.

Or maybe not.

"I e-envy you, you know." He said, seemingly out of nowhere, but his eyes looked sad as he observed Adrian. "I've spent y-years wishing that I could just disappear. And I can ever seem to do is make myself seem s-smaller and it doesn't help. I want to be able to just fade away, forever. Nobody would notice, and I wouldn't have to get h-urt all the time."

He raised his hand again to rub at his nose, lowering his eyes back to the table. That was probably the most anybody had every gotten him to say.

"No." He shook his head, almost violently. All he really had for a majority of his life was sister, and now that she was gone... Well, he didn't like talking about it.

"I don't have anybody." His tone took a rather edgy turn as he said it, coming off as surprisingly aggressive. After realizing that, however, he had a blush rise to his cheeks again and he raised a hand to rub at his nose, covering his face in the process.

"S-sorry, I just don't like to talk about it. W-hat about you?"

Ike found himself in a bar scene for a third time, and the fact that it had occurred even once surprised him. He wasn't really one for social situations such as that, and he would find himself burrowing into a metaphorical hole if even one person he didn't know well enough tried to address him. So, the fact that he was in an area where he was surrounded by people, most intoxicated nonetheless, was nothing less than surprising.

Granted, he wasn't going to be in this scene for long. No, in fact, he already found himself navigated cement staircase in the back of the bar, heading up to the second floor of the newly renovated hotel.

When he got to the top of the stairs, he found himself passing through a heavy door and walked into what seemed like an atrium or ball room of sorts. It was large, much larger than the outside of the building gave the illusion of. Most of it was just empty space, however, and the far end of the long room housed some circular tables, which were in turn surrounded by empty chairs.

Ike entered the bar, being careful not to draw too much attention to himself as he raised a hand to grab at his other arm and hurried over to a booth stuffed far in the corner of the area. It seemed eerily empty for once, and this allocated a sigh of relief from Ike's lung, making him relax a bit more.

He bent over the table then, resting his chin on his crossed arms and darting his eyes around the areas of the bar that he could see. He was facing the entrance, which was odd, but he figured that he'd be able to see anybody else that entered that way, which for once didn't outweigh the fact that they'd see him.

The oddly shaped pupils soon found themselves pointing in the direction of the door to the place, as Ike silently sat, new bandages adorning his face.

Ike was, needless to say, shocked. He hadn't been expecting anybody to come through that, let alone anybody to literally come through the door via some form or roaring rift in space and time. The noise made him shrink down into himself, and then what fell out of it, covered in blood and cloth, made him shrink down into himself even more.

It was a woman, soaked and gasping for breath, as well as destroying the floor boards beneath her for a moment as whatever substance the wings that had just flashed in front of him prior were made of seemingly dissolved through it. She crawled towards him, collapsing momentarily in what seemed like pain. The intense pain she let out immediately after only further confirmed the situation.

As she neared, Ike could make out that source of blood was indeed from the woman, more specifically the lack of arm she had. Ike didn't draw any further back from this, however, instead he found himself raising his head and leaning forward more in a sort of morbid curiosity. He was always used to being the one in pain, seeing somebody else in that position give him a sense of a sick, sadistic pleasure.

This stupor he was placing in however was broken as she spoke, first screaming obscenities and then arching her back and throwing up blood. She then pleaded with him, begging for his help as she looked him in the eyes.

He stood up from the booth then, suddenly, his palms digging into the surface of the table as his eyes frantically danced between the woman's face and her bloodied stump.

"I d-don't know what I'm s-supposed to d-do..."

The boy remained tensed for several seconds, fingers digging into the table more as she urged him to approach her. He was on edge, unsure of whether or not this was a trap, or his assistance was really required in closer proximity.

His fight or flight instincts began to kick in, and he found himself eyeing the door to the place, seeing if he'd be able to make it there fast enough if he needed to get away from the woman. He figured he could, if he found a way around her.

So, with the escape plan in mine, he approached the woman and crouched next to the metal box, tilting his head as he observed the parchment and vials. His eyes slowly trailed up the bloodied stump at the woman's side to her face, and he noticed her eyes beginning to lose their glow. He brought his fingers inches away from her face and snapped them a couple of times, trying to stir her back into focus.

"H-hey... Now what?"

Ike frantically did as he was told, hands fumbling with the box and opening it, then diving into its contents and pulling out what was requested. At this point, he was numb with his responses, so the reveal of a writhing mass of tentacles inside of her eye socket where an eye should be failed to phase him.

Instead, it just gave him more incentive to shove the now holy water coated knife into the heart of it. Which he did, without hesitation as his hands became steady and stopped shaking, guiding the blade dead center into the socket with both of his hands clasped around the handle of the knife.
