Image

Personality

While not lacking in the charm aspect, this unusual creature is very solitary. Speaking only when need be and never revealing too much information. He can often be seen in the guise of "Vagrant". A sort of alter ego that allows him to transcend his normal, "Royal" lifestyles and become just another person. While never quick to judge he is always quick to act within any situation that requires his immediate attention. If not only to draw the attentions away from others. He prides himself in guardianship. And will stop at nothing to slay any demon that should step foot in his wake.

Equipment

Steal mesh Royal Purple cloak, 2 locking windmill shuriken and a wakazashi. Multiple kunai and assorted throwing equipment including stainless steal braided cable 1/32" thick.

History

Born into a royal family Jaiger grew learning of combat and country management. When at 16 his family was graced by the presence of a dark demon. Jaigers world turned to the worst. In the darkness of the night the beast came, through his parents room first, the sounds of slaughter and misery still ring deep in his mind. This demon then came to Jaiger. Intent on taking the young boys life the demon, of course, attacked. In a moment of lucidity something within Jaiger awakened. His families dark past. As the beast struck Jaiger sank into the shadows of the hallway. Calling fourth shadow creations, copies of himself, to swarm this creature. And in doing so his "clones" acquired the demons instruments. Two demonic windmill shuriken set upon a center of ball bearings, allowing them free movement in a skillsaw type fashion. In due time Jaigers new found power was enough to overcome the beast.. and since then Jaiger has vowed his life to hunt their kind. In hopes others will not have to befall his fate. In the darkness there is hope, in the darkness there is protection. For within the darkness, Jaiger is always watching.

So begins...

A sudden darkness falls over the bar for but a second, a sound like whipping winds can be heard. From a ribbon of shadows a figure steps forth. Aside from the deep purple cloak the only notable feature to this man is his eyes... which glow with a soft silver light. He steps from the dark ribbon and the shadows immediately vanish. Glancing around the room, some of which is in chaos, other portions engaged in idle conversation. He decides to keep to himself... for the time being. He finds himself an empty table and takes a seat. Eerie eyes peering across the bar in silence at the scene unfolding before him.

Jaiger noticed a glance in his direction. Peering at the being for just a moment he returned his gaze to the table. Producing from his cloak a tome with a black leather surface. Arms and hands strewn with fur, charcoal in color. He opened the book as a rather annoying salesman took the podium. Moving his fingers through the pages he selected one, and began to read. While not oblivious to his surroundings he made himself 'less noticeable'.

Jaiger, growing rather parched extends his arm to the side while reading. His shadow cast upon the floor seems to grow, extending in length... before beginning to grow in mass. From seemingly nothing a second being in a purple cloak rose from the darkness. With a wave of his hand the second man walked towards the bar counter. Gesturing for the tender this 'shadow creation' would order a simple scotch on the rocks. Paying for it with very real coin before returning to the hooded figure in the corner of the bar. As the second figure produced the intoxicating beverage to the first he sank back into the shadows from whence he had came.

Jaiger gave a small laugh, hardly noticeable. "If I had taken the time to acquired this myself I would have wasted precious study. Why not let that which beacons to us do our bidding at will..?" His eyes glanced up from his tome for but a moment towards this draconian figure. Though his eyes did seam to glow.. it was a dark glint within the silver hue, only noticeable when near him. Lips caressed by the 100 proof whiskey offshoot before he returned the glass to the table. Eyes scanning over barely legible glyphs and texts, or perhaps words of a long forgotten world.

Jaiger De'Sactrice smiles, eyes remaining trained on the tome. "A world of wonder... the otherside to what is seen in everyday. The darkness that is behind this.. light we currently sit in. Reverse us is a world, where light is scarce. Even... treasured as a luxury to be kept within doors and rooms for ones personal use... But my words are hallowed. I do not expect those of this realm to comprehend the words of mine." While winded in his words, unusual for this man. His explanation was cut abruptly. The next words spoken were few, "And you would find interest why..?"

Jaiger nodded, "Many are of a curious nature. I suppose I could be considered as such in turn for my current actions." He gestures towards the tome his eyes remained upon. Taking another sip of his scotch, he held the glass this time. Leaning back in his chair he looked up towards Draco, "Dragon of shadows you say?"

Jaiger De'Sactrice raised an unseen eyebrow from beneath his cloak. "Interesting..." He spoke softly. Having read in past studies of such things being possibilities. He was guilty of a similar action as well in the past. "Tell me Draco of the shadows. What finds you within this.. particular domain. And not among my normal dwellings?"

Jaiger De'Sactrice could do nothing but laugh, "I couldn't agree more.." He glanced around the bar. Noticing the commotion from the fight, however deciding against taking action he returned his gaze to Draco. "I travel the same way.. the responsibilities of the other side can sometimes be a bit... trying." He closed the tome, returning it to his cloak, a third sip of his liquor of choice would finalize the glass. "I'm afraid this is my first venture to this.. particular portion of dimension. Anything I should keep an eye out for..?" From beneath his cloak four soft clicks could be heard as he eyes the guards with rifles.

The reaction was lightning fast, as the triggers were squeezed only the first rounds would get off. Jaiger stood, and in one motion his hand came from his cloak, loosing a windmill shuriken down the firing mechanisms of both rifles. In the same motion he held his hands to the side. From the shadows beneath his arms two more cloaked figures would raise, both drawing a wakasashi the dove towards the two guards. Jaiger himself seeming to vanish within the shadow generated by these two 'clones'.

The two 'clones' landed infront of the guards, both drawing a windmill shuriken and crossing it with the wakasashi covering their chests, the short swords used to deflect the barrels to the outside of their position, not blow them away, just hold them from the center. As Jaiger himself appeared from between the two clones. "Guards are not evil. However breaking up physical combat with open fire, even in the form of suppression is a sign of weakness. Hold them apart with your power, not your artillery." Silver eyes peered directly at Chemo. "Or are you to weak to enforce laws with comparable force?"

Jaiger De'Sactrice laughs softly. "A wish to fight... that is not my bearing. Fair justice and the guardianship of held within. That is my goal." He lowers his head, shadows beginning to radiate from his form. "Persist in this.. and there will be darkness..." His final word seamed to echo in the bar. As he spoke ribbons of shadow shot from his body. Enveloping all within a 15' radius in an imperishable shadow. The darkness so thick a spotlight couldn't break it. Within seconds the soldiers weapons would feel lighter, stripped of ammunition. Jaigers voice seemed to come from everywhere, and no where at the same time, "Shall we continue, or are we through...?"

The darkness in the bar receded quickly into a single form. Jaiger stood, still cloaked. For the first time in a long time he actually removed his armor. Pulling the cloak from his shoulders he tossed it over one of the wooden chairs. As the steel mesh met the wooden structure it collapsed under the weight with a crack and a dull thud. His weapons however, he would not remove. They were too valuable to him.

Now standing infront of Anodyne Jaiger as himself, 5'11", roughly 190lbs. The demon hybrid carried much of a wolf-like appearance with fox-like ears. He turned to the side in a long forgotten martial arts stance, one hand held loosely infront of him, the other held in a tight first near his chest, "I guess we proceed then."

Jaiger De'Sactrice was very unpredictable in stature. His form was graced by a not often seen solidity. Each breath measured. Each eye movement precise. Almost as if he was walking ahead of his opponents movements. Gauging by stature, poise, physique and fines each reaction possible for each action. He smiled, slightly glowing silver eyes locked on to Anodyne's. Sliding forwards quickly with a form of iron fist, his hands moved together, synchronized they struck, first moved to defend against any incoming blow while the second struck low, towards the inner thigh for a debilitating strike.

As Anodyne lurched forward to strike, she would find her own momentum would be her downfall, for in her instructed flip kick she would find her feet striking nothing but shadow, as Jaiger still stood behind the position of the being that struck. A quick lunge forward would allow him to grip her ankle in this, now uncontrolled, strike. Turning back and driving down with a demons strength to plant her face first into the floor of the bar.

As Anodyne caught herself from the devastating down-lash Jaiger noted her movements. Loosening his grip on her ankle for less than a second allowed her to spin. Her other leg rising to find little resistance as it collided with this 'mans' arm, only to be wrapped using her own momentum once again. Twisting his own grip with the force of her blow would put him around behind her legs in mere milliseconds. He is afterall, that which he hates most. A demon. If plans worked in the proper manner he would now be straddling the back of her thighs, facing away from her head with both legs locked within his grasp and held firmly to his chest.

The two locked up together for but a moment in what seemed like a peaceful full body hug, before Jaiger was thrown to the side, his left hand extending outwards a dull thud was heard from the roof truss above them. A light glint could be seen from his wrist but nothing more as his fall was corrected. About fifteen feet from Anodyne, Jaiger would and lightly. He looked towards her with a light smile. "This is beginning to get fun." Hands dusting at his shirt and waist for a moment. "If you would like madame." He puts one hand behind his back and extends the other before him, gesturing her fourth. "You may proceed. Or we could get on to niceties."

Jaiger De'Sactrice smiled and closed his eyes. For a moment the bar seemed to get still. Then the room became shrouded in a cloud of darkness, "Cloak of shadows, shadow art. One thousand warriors." The fog of darkness suddenly cleared. Most of the bar was filled with copies of Jaiger. Most of which held a spear aimed towards Anodyne. And they all spoke in unison, "If you were a demon. You'ld be dead. However your heart is pure, and it is a shame to sacrifice purity." Those in the bar would hear the copies next to them speaking the words as well. "Learn from us. Or die by us. It is your choice."

Jaiger De'Sactrice laughs softly. The one thousand soldiers suddenly shooting in ribbons of darkness towards a being standing just to the left of Anodyne. The wolfs words left at bay as the clones near 'Red' vanished as well to this single being near Anodyne. "You are foolish and have not listened to my words. I do not wish to fight the pure of heart. Only the demon spawn that should hunt them. As for my intervention." He laughed, "The two that caused it have now vanished from your sight, and my protection of them is no longer necessary." He glanced towards Requiem, "Cute." Then a glance towards the Wolf, "You would have found yourself hardpressed to stop me, should I had targeted you." His gaze then returns to Anodyne, "Dont lose sight of your targets. That is what you learned here." He turns and steps towards a dark corner of the bar shrouded from the mist.

Through a ribbon of shadow in the center of the room a figured covered by a purple cloak stepped from this, immediate darkness. As he did the darkness faded. Glowing silver eyes peered out from beneath the darkness of the hood. A lock of black hair jutting out from the front as well. Jaiger looked around the room. Hey hey, no one was killing each other.. yet. He laughed inwardly to himself and headed towards the counter of the bar, sitting down he lifted his hand, "Tender, Whiskey on ice please." After he ordered he then turned around in his bar stool and lowered his cloak, revealing a vulpine like face with canine like ears, red hair. Dark charcoal colored fur covered the rest of his body which remained hidden beneath the purple woven garb.

A stillness filled the air. For all but what seemed like the blink of an eye the entire bar was darkened. The shadows so thick one would swear they could feel them, and then the light returned. As the light returned Jaiger De'Sactrice stood in the center of the bar. He wore no cloak upon this appearance. Instead he adorned a woven ninja mesh, untreated leather vest, chestpiece had a flame like resemblance curling back over his shoulders. His appearance would be being Ivanna, though he held no connection to her at all. Visibly seen upon each hip was a modified 'windmill shuriken'.

Upside down on his back was a katana, aimed to the left. Hidden within the vest were multiple steel wires, kunai, stars, poisons, bombs- flashes and the like.

The one thing that stood out on this apparent 'ninja age' person, was the dark black thin glasses he whore. Hiding his silver glowing eyes.

A growl echoed from the fox-demons throat, he looked around the bar. Eyes moved towards the fireplace. His shadow seemed to travel across the floor. As it reached the rug in front of the hearth it created a shadow like being, similar in size to Jaiger. Instantaneously Jaiger and the shadow switched places. Leaving Jaiger standing infront of the fireplace holding a glass of some unknown alcoholic beverage.

Jaiger De'Sactrice looked into the fire. Swirling his drink for a moment he took another sip of it. "Hmmm...." He appeared to be deep in thought. As he stood now he had claimed the title of the Demonic Fallout Prince. Shoulder length red hair danced as he turned his head. One could not see his eyes, but Ivanna would know he stared directly at her. He felt her energy. And for a moment her energy was directed towards him, so his gaze had turned to meet hers. Glowing optics still hidden behind his dark glasses. Wolf like ears twitched.

Jaiger De'Sactrice nodded politely to the woman. Lifting his glass he took another sip of his beverage. Turning back towards the fireplace he would return to his thoughts.

There was a war coming. He could feel it. But whom would he side with. He didn't know. He removed the dark black glasses, for the first time his glowing silver eyes could be seen from the patrons of the bar. His gaze was indeed directed towards the flames. "And there will be blood..." He said quietly. A hint of sadness in his tone as he spoke. He had seen too much bloodshed in his life.
