Russian rooks the mans hand when he offered it to him. He then stood up straight and fixed his broken nose in order to speak without sounding like a moron. "I don't have anywhere to go at the moment, I just usually stroll along until someone offers me a job or if I find a job worth taking. But if you are looking for help you found a man willing to do it, of course when I put my life on the line I rather have something waiting for me at the end of the road. But as for your armour the least I can do is fix it up, just hand me whatever material you used and I can fix it up, and just to sweeten the deal if you want something hacked I will do it for you for no additional charge." He spoke with confidence.

Of course there was just one small trouble with their current situation, everyone in the city must have hear that massive explosion and that meant that the police were on their way. Whatever James wanted to ask Russian, he would have to skip any non-essential details. Russian would rather not be fined and jailed for blowing up a whole warehouse and he could not pin the blame on the android since...she was probably nothing at this point.

James pondered for a moment. Of course, a mercenary would definitely was something out of this. But what can James offer? "I'd be happy to gain your help, Russian. I need to build a group of people to search for 'The Motherboard'" He explained, there wasn't really much for him to explain. This quest was giving by himself, and he doesn't really know the details himself. "I guess what you have waiting for you is your own life."

At the mention of being able to repair the armour, James held out his hand, holding the metallic plates which were ejected during the fight. "I need these back to perfect condition."

"Well...sorry to say this but I am going to have to politely refuse. However if this "motherboard" decides to attack me one day I will give you a call. I may be a mercenary but there are days when I willingly help when something threatens me even if it is in a galactic scale." Russian spoke as he took the metallic plates before sitting down again and pulled out a multitude of tools before starting his work with experienced hands. For him this was just another day at the office, he had worked with enough weapons and armour to know how to fix something like this.

He knocked out the dents, filled in the cracks, and even gave it a little shine to make it as good as new. He then stood up and handed them over to James. "Here you go, good as new."

James casually entered the bar, the helmet of his suit retracted to allow his head to be revealed. There was no reason for him to hide his face for now; besides, he was just here for food and drink. Accompanying him was his new acquaintance, Russian, a mercenary who had kindly repaired his armour and taxied him to Wing City. As the two wondered towards the bar, James rubbed his chest, embarrassed; he was happy to have the metal plates repaired from their damage acquired back in the warehouse. However, Russian had fixed them up a bit too well, causing a bright metallic patch to stand out around his chest when compared to the dirtied metal plates which made up the rest of the armour.

"Thanks for the lift, man." James spoke out to Russian, strongly patting his back in the process, "Round's on me."

As Russian entered the bar with his hands in his pocket, he took a nice big breath of air. The smell of food, drinks, and alcohol made him sigh in relief. No more worrying about a crazy android trying to kill him, no more worrying about a werewolf that could have killed him, all he had to worry about was what to eat and how strong of a drink he wanted.

Russian chuckled as James strongly patted his back and said the rounds on him. "This is like the good old days when I was with my partner. Doing jobs and relaxing just like this...can't get any more relaxing then this." He spoke as he sat at one of the tables before leaning back already knowing what he was going to order. A nice hamburger and a bottle of vodka.

After ordering the rounds and some food, for both himself and Russian, James leaned back with a sigh. It was a lot of action for him to suddenly get in to over the past few hours, he still couldn't even work out how he managed to appear on Terra. All he could remember was some strange, armoured woman; kicking him into some form of portal. It was a good thing the MechAr managed to access the internet of this world, even though it did take a while.

"Sounds like the perfect life..." James commented on Russian's words, digging in to his meal that had been swiftly placed in front of him along with the vodka. "Almost reminds me of home."

It was only a small moment of silence emitting from James, as he was recalling his limited memories of this 'home' of his, not a very good history to think of. But then, from the corner of his eye, James noticed some hooded being enter the bar. Somewhat buried in prayer before ordering at the counter not too far from the two. "Hey, what's the religion like here?" James questioned Russian, slightly tilting his head towards the hooded man a few seats from him.

When Russian was asked how the religion was like, he took a bite from his hamburger and sip from his drink before answering. "There are thousands of different religions that one could worship. There is the good old fashioned Christianity where they believe in God, The God Emperor Of Mankind which is worshipped by the most religious fanatical human faction I have ever met, or even a god that supposedly embodies guns and is worshiped by space orks. Yeah, religion is pretty varied to the point that you worship a god without intending to worship them." he spoke as he downed another swig of his drink and devoured another piece of his hamburger.

Conner looked over at the two. he spoke softly, his voice deep. there was only white to eyes but he could still see them. "i am a Keeper of Aennehiem. a Guardian of peace in this universe." he got up off the stool and took off a pack and fished through it. he pulled out a coin that looked to be made of platinum and seemed to emit a feint glow. he set it down on the counter, "another round for me and these young lads," he gestured to the two next to him, "and put it on a tab."

he sat back down and pulled out a rag polishing his visor and helmet. "i can tell you're not from around here. can see it in your aura. you're not from this verse are you?" he asked.

James listened intently to Russian's words, he was quite aware of the concept of religion; it was something that was mentioned a lot in history. However, this man who sat nearby was the first example of a religious worshipper James had seen in his life. "I see, so there's a lot of religion here... James spoke to himself as he thought of what it was like to follow such a strange act.

Once the religious person introduced himself as some form of guardian of the universe, James' attention was quickly grabbed by the mention of 'peace'. Back from where he was from, peace was a term that was closely accompanied by war, something people strive for instead of guard. Where exactly was he thrown in to?
"You're right, Keeper. I was forcibly thrown into this place, it's definitely somewhere out of my galaxy; seeing as my suit is struggling to find my location." He replied to the keeper, hoping to find some means of information on his whereabouts.
"Ah, do you two know of some way to access the internet? Or any kind of electronic storage allowing me to gather information?"

"You need a way to access the internet? Here, I got something that can search the internet." Russian spoke as he took off his device strapped to his arm and handed it to James. "To use the thing all you have to do is use your finger just like a touchscreen, or you can tell it to look up something. I also have some personal logs on there which may be pulled up from some searche but I highly doubt it, anyways go wild and search to your hearts content. And thanks for the round guy." Russian chuckled before he turned to face Conner and gave him a thumbs up.

Conner finished with the helmet and put it on. phonemic seals hissing in place. the helmet clicked then he took it off. "always check and recheck all your gear." he said, "that way when the worst comes you know it won't fail on you." he drew his pistol dropping the clip out then in. then pulled back the action. the bartender gave him a curious look. he twirled the pistol on his finger then holstered it. he readjusted the strap on his assault rifle then looked back. at the other two. come on. eat up! drink! it's all on me. I have the wealth of the Keepers at my disposal, which is a little more vast then i hoped so don't worry about running me dry!"

James dug in to his food and drink happily, glad to have gained a decent meal for the first time in a while while he attempted to use Russian's device to gain more information on this world he had been forced to be stranded on. It wasn't long until he hooked up his MechAr with the device to allow it to do the work for him, it was simply too difficult for him to understand the information; the artificial intelligence which inhabits his armour can easily sort everything out for him.

"Thanks guys, a major help." James thanked the two, happy to achieve such great help from two random people he had met. "I need to get back to my home world, but I have no idea. The best way is to find the asshole which threw me in here. You guys able to join me?"

"I would like to help, however trying to find the one person who brought you here is pretty difficult to find...unless whoever pushed you left fingerprints on that armor of yours that maybe I can pull some prints, of course it does not need to be fingerprints, I can pull whatever material touched you and find out what it was that pushed you. Other than that, I rather not waste time on a hunt without any information. Unless money is involved of course." Russian spoke as he began to devour his food and drink with renewed vigor.

Of course, he would sorta like to help. But unless they had any sort of information on whoever pushed James, they would be wasting their hunt. But of course as a mercenary he would do anything for money and getting paid to hunt one spesific person with no information would look much more appealing.

Echo looked around, blinking repetitively. he quickly looked over James then scanned the crowd. "Well as far as i can see whatever pushed you isn't in this room. i just did a scan of your armor and the crowd for a match. the only matching elements are you two to each other. so that's just saying that you've come in contact in some way."
Echo then paused for a moment,
"sorry about that but i feel naked without all my armor on so i wear a special pair of contact lenses that have an implant into my head so they sync with the HUD in my helmet while acting like the HUD in my helmet when i have the helmet off. if it's help you're lookin' for i can help. no fee. besides i need the exercise."

Meanwhile in Gambits...

Once Russian finished up his food, he gave a deep sigh. "Man...Feels like we were cooped up in here for at least a month..." He lazily spoke before checking his watch since his arm device was being held by James. Nope, it had been half an hour since they entered, strange felt like a month. "I don't know about you, but I am going out for a some smokes and a nice walk. Once your done with that device you can press that icon on the bottom left, it makes it teliport back on my arm." Russian spoke as he stood up before waving back to James with a goodbye.

Russian left the Gambit building before reaching into his coat pocked and pulled out a cigarette. He then pulled out a old fashioned lighter and lit his cigarette before placing it in his mouth. A smoke after a nice meal and drink was the best, now add a bath and it would be perfect. With his cigarette now lit, he proceeded towards the direction of the main street with no particular direction. He had nothing to do at the moment and nothing better to do. At least a crazy Android hell bent on revenge was not trying to kill him at the moment..."Have to hand it to her...she had a cute face...Shame I had to destoy that facility, maybe I could have swooned her with my moves." He muttered under his breath as he puffed a cloud of smoke. He was sure the drinks he had were talking their effect on him since he would have stabbed himself if he ever said something like that in a sober state, but right now he might as well ride out his drunkenness instead of fighting it..

James ran out from inside the bar, frantically searching for his acquaintance in the process. There seemed to be a sign of emergency in his facial expression as his head whipped side to side, struggling to find the one man in such a large crowd. Suddenly, the smell of smoke grabbed his attention, didn't Russian smoke? That's right, he must be nearby with such a fresh smell of smoke. But what he didn't realise was that Russian was standing nearby the entrance all along, the rushing James had simply run past him several times.

"Ah, Russian. I couldn't find that icon you said so here's the tablet thing." James started, handing the device back to his native friend in the process. A sudden point of realisation pulsed across James' face as he remembered the real reason why he was in a rush. "AH! I saw the bitch that threw me into this place! I recognised the armour, she had white hair, or something. She left before I could do anything, do you see anyone?" His words were spoken fast, stilling slowly spinning around on the spot as he kept a look out for this one person.

Meanwhile, as James shouted over the myriad of conversations going on in the main street, Sarah calmly walked through; ignoring the strange glances she received as people noticed her strange armour and large amount of ammunition covering her body. It took a double glance for her to realise the recognised face within the crowds, it was definitely one of the people she threw into this realm. And they had already befriended a native, the plan must have been working again. "Ah, isn't that the obnoxious idiot I transported?" She muttered to herself, slowing her pace in the meantime.

As Russian was thinking in his tipsy state, he heard James call out to him and handed him his device since he could not find the button. But what he said next was what caused him to sober right up, and that was that he located the person sent him to this place. So shes in the area, I have not seen someone in the area that looks like that, however I can help locate her." He spoke and snapped his device back on his arm and after pressing a myriad of buttons a drone would warp right in front of them.

Russian began to press more buttons and had the drones feed displayed on his drone. I can search in the air while you search on the ground." He spoke as the drone flew into the air and scanned the crowd of people. Someone with white hair and armor in a crowd of unarmed civilians, she should be very easy to spot so it was just a matter of time. until they found her.

James nodded to Russian's idea, quickly running off into the crowds on the search for this single individual. It would be hard to find someone in all these crowds, but that drone would be a great help when finding such a woman. Even if James ran straight past her, the drone would definitely let him know. These thoughts kept echoing through James' mind, giving him the motivation to keep searching, asking lone individuals if they had seen a woman with such a description. Sadly, they all have declined knowledge.

Suddenly, a small pop of a silenced firearm was picked up by the MechAr which quickly equipped itself over James' head once more. The inner screens gave a small map which was developed from the information extracted from Russian's device, pointing him in the direction of the sound. It could just be some annoying thugs mugging some civilian, or it could be someone of interest. Either way, with the majority of the crowds being unarmed, there's a high chance it could be the woman.

Sarah lowered her assault rifle from pointing towards the now destroyed drone, returning it to her armoured kilt where it would hang opposite to an energy sword. Blutrinium ammunition was always a dangerous form of ballistic, built as miniature blutrinium generators, this form of ammunition was volatile yet held an infinite shelf life; upon colliding with whatever was unlucky enough to be the target, the intense concentration of blutrinium energy would be released. This easily made short work of the drone that was sent to find her, but how was she aware of it's purpose?

"Looks like I'm really gonna have to get into an encounter with an obnoxious human and what seems to be an engineer." She sighed to herself, deactivating her shields which warped space time around her, bringing her existence into view. Beside Russian.

Russsian was busy searching the crowds when suddenly the drone he sent was destroyed and the feed was therefore cut out. "Takes a person with some real guts to shoot something in the air and in public...but no one is panicking so it must have been a silenced weapon." he concluded as he sighted before bringing up his device to order order yet another drone, however before he could a figure appeared right next to him and caught his attention.

Not being a fool, Russian reached into his uniform and gripped an emergency pistol he made for situations like this. It had only two rounds in it but each slug it shot was powerful enough to destroy a tank in a single shot although it was short ranged. "I'm guessing your the woman that we were looking for. So my name is Russian, and mind telling me the reason for materializing near me and not say...anywhere but here?" he spoke keeping a close eye on her, if he even so much as saw her glance at her weapon he was going to open fire.

Still looking forward, her body as still as a rock besides the light flicks of her hair in the breeze, Sarah knew exactly what Russian was thinking. Exactly what he was planning, it was a general human instinct, very common in personalities such as Russian's. That was how she had worked out the drone, the reason James had decided to stick with him, and why she needed to appear beside him. "There's a good reason for me to be here, Russian." Sarah replied, her words calm and suppressed as she watched the man from the corner of her eye. Already rushing to grab a weapon, threatening a poor little girl?

"In order to control that idiot, I need to show off strength." She continued. Suddenly, in the single blink of an eye, Sarah moved with speeds incapable of a normal human. She had taken advantage of Russian's expectations on her dependency on weapons, he was well unaware of the gem that rested on the back of her chest piece. It was as if a demon was making it's moves, wrapping it's fingers across Russian's face, a grip tight enough to leave a persistence mark before lifting the whole body off his feet.

"I need a hostage" Sarah finished, staring into Russian's eyes with a glare that could kill. A glare of someone who had cast away their humanity, ignoring the worried reactions of the crowds as they backed away from the two.

Russian was surprised at the woman's speed as she rushed up to grab him, he could not pull out his weapon in time however there was one thing he could do before he was grabbed. And that was to say two words. "Fuck me..." He was then grabbed by the head and lifted up. The people saw what was going on and quickly backed away in a panic.

Once he was lifted up in the air, Russian showed no sign of panic or resistance. He was already used to grim situation like this and trying to fight back against an opponent with more power than him would be a waste of energy. Of course he always planned for things like this, unknown to her his two words had two effects. One of these effects to to summarize his situation, the other effect was a voice activation code word which would have his ship drop something depending on the word. He also came prepared with another thing but for now he would stay held in his captors hand in the literal sense.

Once the woman finished explaining that she needed a hostage for control that idiot, she stared into his eyes devoid of humanity. He stared back unfazed by the situation. If this was her way of intimidation, then it was clearly not working on him. He had been through much worse than this, so he had to reason to panic or fear her even though his life was clearly on the line.

The man's lack of a reaction hit Sarah hard, this idiot really is trying to hold back the look of fear. Knowing his personality, it's possible there's some trick under his sleeve, then again, he could've tried a sneaky shot with his little backup weapon. Was there something else? There can't be any communications with James, she would know if there was, and that fake shot in the opposite direction she had set up would easily grab his attention so she could get to dealing with Russian in peace. Although, the reactions of the crowds wasn't helping.

"How boring, you aren't reacting nicely." Sarah spoke up, giving a fake smile of amusement while keeping her glare on point, "How about you resist? For me?" As soon as this rhetorical question was asked, Sarah pushed Russian's head into the ground with a force large enough to crack the ground beneath him. A look of annoyance spread across Sarah's face as she gritted her teeth through a smile, her eyes as wide as a victim of war; "How about you give me a fight to remember?"

Russian grunted in pain as he was pushed headfirst into the ground. He could feel blood on his head although it was nothing major, it would just ruin his favorite cap...his favorite cap! That thing was expensive as hell to clean and here he was getting trashed by this woman. He was now pissed, his uniform was slightly damaged as his cap was getting soaked with blood. "You want a fight?" He started just as one of his mech suits landed a few feet away, crushing the pavement underneath. He then pressed a floating icon on his device and teliported inside the mech suit and activated all systems with a push of the button.

"Then you got a fight..." Russian called out as he armed himself with an assault rifle with bayonet attachment. The mech suit was just a few inches larger than him, equipped with shielding, hidden weapon systems, and most of all large ordinance grade weaponry stored inside the machine. "You are gonna pay for messing me up! So get ready because your guide here is gonna give you a free ticket to the morgue, no expenses included!" he then initiated his attack by opening fire with his assult rifle, spewing off .65 caliber rounds capable of punching through tanks, he was a fan of the bolt action but in this situation he wanted some major firepower.

Once Russian began shooting, the crowd around them immediately dispersed screaming in terror.

The sound of the mech falling into the ground echoed through the main street of Wing City, quickly heard by James who was standing within the panicking crown, confused at his failure to track the gunshot he had heard. Upon sight of the mech, James had instantly recognised it's origins. It was one of the many majestic armours Russian had aboard his ship, quickly allowing James to figure out owner. "That's Russian's. He must have found the bitch." He stated to himself before jumping into a sprint towards the fight.

The sudden disappearance of Russian caught Sarah off guard, she had no time to react to what was to become of the situation as the man gave his sorry excuse of a witty statement. The sudden attack of the large assault rifle left Sarah to no reaction, the rounds simply disintegrating or ricocheting off the shielding that encased her body. With a small click of the tongue, Sarah raised from the ground, ignoring the barrage of bullets fired to her, knowing they wouldn't touch her. "Boring." She stated, her face fallen into an unamused expression as a wormhole appeared before her, the other end of the entrance simultaneously appeared next to Russian, directing the barrage of rounds straight towards his own mech.

In the meantime, hidden by the wormhole, Sarah swapped the rounds of her own assault rifle to high velocity electromagnetic rounds. Ammunition that would require the temporary deactivation of her own shielding in order to give an effect, but nonetheless worthy of enforcing damage.

Russian watched as his rounds were either disintegrating or ricocheting off some sort of shield. Nevertheless he continued to open fire since shields would only last so long against an attack. However when some sort of wormhole appeared in front of her and his rounds were now hitting him. A clever trick however his own shielding provided protection against his own bullets.

Deciding to stop shooting against the wormhole, Russian decided to unleash a bit more firepower. The mech suits shoulders opened up to reveal a collection of five rockets each, each one custom made with small warheads in each one of them. Unknown to him, her shielding was temporarily disabled however for him his attack was meant to heavily damage the shield but in this case this would do considerable damage to his target. The missiles flew through the air leaving behind a smoke trail, each one armed with a small shielding to help protect them from being shot down. All ten rockets began to make their way to their target, around the wormhole and at either the woman or the ground around her. "This boring enough for you?" He stated as he watched the rockets soar through air.
