Character Name: Jeremiah Court
Age of Appearance: 35
True Age: 72
Description: A man with strong broad shoulders shouldn't sport as lithe a torso as he, but Jeremiah was build for speed and stealth more than brawn. Jeremiah has always been cunning but is constantly keeping that trait away from the obvious surface. He usually dresses in a black modern looking jacket with a white collar showing, much how one would envision a futuristic priest. The edges of his sleeves and zippered front sport red piping that nearly seems to glow in the dark. His hair is red by died nearly black, his true color only showing through in undertones. Speaking of true colors, he keeps his guarded, only being himself around those he feels he can trust - also known as those he has control over. He stands at a near six feet and is built like a runner. Eyes of hopeful harvest tones have been known to fade to white during a full moon.
Breed - Lycan: Fox lycan. Under the full moon, Jeremiah is known to give into his animalistic side and become a fox. He is sly and cunning, in a more outward fashion, when in either his animal like biped or quadraped forms. His favorite meal is chicken, but not in the way that KFC would provide it. There is something to be said for the fresh kill, no dipping sauce needed when there's blood. His form is typical of a fox, orange/red fur with paws, ears, and tail tipped in white. You can almost see his maw smiling with all those sharp canine teeth.
Personality: Devious may be the perfect word for him. He may present himself to be respectable, but he has an overwhelming dark side. A pervert in the true sense of the word, his sexual exploits baffle the imagination. He is a glutton for pleasure and a good plate of chicken just might win his heart, or at least get you into his pants. To the public, he has the face of being a very devout man, completely dedicated to his religion, a New Age version of Christianity he created specifically for lycans.
Items: Jeremiah always carries his small leather book of his writings and sermons. He also keeps his pockets full of tracking rings that he passes off as markers of the believers whose souls will be granted eternal life.
Weaknesses: Naturally, he is very susceptible to the affects of the moon, often times going out into the wild during this time. He claims his hiatus is really just a prolonged time with God. Jeremiah is not truly a fighter - and he does need to be with the bodyguards he has around him. Jeremiah is quite the wimp, intolerant to the slightest discomfort. Even the threat of pain could make him cave. He could, however, win any sprint through the woods or city streets for that matter.
----
The Change: Jeremiah used to be a farmer who had just taken over his father's work when a wild fox bit him one night. The thing seemed to be rabid with the way it was snarling and its eyes glowed white. At first Jeremiah thought nothing of it, but he had to re-evaluate when he woke up with blurry memories of slaughtering all his chickens.
Age when turned: 30 years old
Alignment: Jeremiah has no sworn enemies but other religious groups don't seem to think too highly of him.
Affiliations: This 'priest' is new to the city and its inhabitants. He has heard through the grapevine that there is a good sized lycan group within the city limits. He has come to convert them.
T.O.A.: Jeremiah arrived on a Thursday and immediately set to work letting the lycans of the city know about his gathering to take place on a Sunday at sun down.
General History: In a quest to find the reason that he was turned, Jeremiah has formed a new branch of Christianity known as The Full Cold Moon Adventists, the Moon Adventists for short. He began seeking out others who had been turned and opened his heart and mind to them. He told them that they still had a purpose in the universe and that their animalistic enhancements only furthered them on a journey towards eternal life. Believing in Jeremiah, the messenger, meant that you had to kneel and surrender your will to the full cold moon. Those who did so were given a ring with a moon-like pearl set in gold. Jeremiah preached that those marked with this ring would guarantee their souls would continue on to eternal life even past their body's destruction. Death was becoming a more real threat to lycans of this day. Jeremiah is there to save them. Once the ring was obtained, Jeremiah justified his frivolous lifestyle by explaining that they were free to live as they wished. Without any fears, they could live out their wildest fantasies. There was no threat of losing your soul. Debauchery and orgies were quite common within the Moon Adventists community and Jeremiah made sure to flaunt his participation in them. Now he has come to Emerald City to convert as many lycans as he can - to give them freedom while they live, and eternal souls when they pass on.
