General Description: Jessenya looks to be in her forties, she has a slim face with a strong and defined bone structure. She isn't tall, though, she is only around five feet and three inches tall. Her hair is silky, an unnaturally white shade of gray. Her eyes are an icy blue, which contrasts the alabaster tone of her skin. She tends to wear more simple clothes, her favorite colors being icy blues and forest greens.

Personality: Jessenya is a kind person, she likes to keep things simple, though. She had a very happy demeanor, and is very seldom seen in a downtrodden state. She does carry a lot of grief on her shoulders, but none see that but those who are closest to her. She is most times quite frank, she does not sugar coat things, and does not know or understand the definition of awkward by any means.

Background: Jessenya was raised in a traditional Elven home, living on a mountain for the majority of life, the snow being her ultimate pleasure. She slept, on clear nights, beneath the the shelter of an icy cavern towards the base of the mountains. The roof was almost transparent, and the stars could be seen through it when the moon was high. But that paradise did not last long, as other nations and darker elves began to terrorize and overwhelm their small sanctuary, forcing them to relocate when she was still young.

It was then that she met the lover of her life, the crowned prince of the throne to the land of the people called Des'i. And the rest, as she says, is history.

So begins...

Of all the places one could seek refuge in, this place seemed like the least comfortable sanctuary to resort to, in Jeseenya's mind. She pushed the doors open and stepped inside, welcomed into the bar with the greeting of a mixture of smells. Food, drinks, and maybe people. She let her icy blue eyes scan the place for a moment, before taking a seat closest to the door.

She had long white hair, one could assume, although it was up in a very confusing bun. It was braided, it seemed, but the braids seemed to intertwine into one another. Her clothing was old-fashioned, to say the elast. A deep forest green dress with gold embroidery. The sleeves were rather flowy, as the rest of it was.

She wasn't even sur eif she'd come to the right place, but she'd just have to wait until she got her answer for that, to move on.

Jessenya entered the bar, moving through the doorway slowly. The smells of this place were quite different than those that she was used too. She moved into a chair near the door, looking about the room intently, she had never been to such a place as this. Her clothing was that of an older era, very flowy and brightly colored. An icy blue dress, white embroidery, the cuffs of her sleeves laced.

She leaned against the table, quietly observing.

Jessenya entered the bar. Moving through the doorway with ease, she slid herself into a chair near the middle of the room, humming to herself along the way. She had been looking for her daughter around here for days, and had yet to see any sign of her. She used the apparent ordering pad to get herself a drink of ginger ale.

Folding her arms on the table and looking about the room quietly.

"Naneth amore bieno..." She hummed lightly, once again pushing through the doors of Gambit's. Fourth time was the charm, as they said, wasn't it? She was still on her search for her daughter, and had yet to run into her. Or really anyone, for that matter.

She sat down towards the center of the room, subsequently untying her knot of hair, letting the white mass flow down her back, and over either side of her shoulders. Waiting was so tedious, worrisome even. What was an elf to do?

Jessenya glanced up at the man. "I'd say it was shallow." Hmm... Shallow thoughts. Or thoughts that are shallow in depth. Is tehre a difference? She thought to herself, smiling before she stared at him for too long. "I am in search of a friend, she seems not to grace this place with her presence, so often as I thought." Her voice was soft, naturally, and it had a sense of harmony among it besides that.

"Yes, and no." She tilted her head at him curiously, she'd wonderd how people got their drinks and things around here. There weren't just service people running about. "Jessenya Vijha. Pleasure to meet you." She nodded at him, instead of shaking his hand, as it wasn't in her traits to make phsyical contact with many people of the opposite sex. "I am sorry, too."

She moved slightly in her seat, shifting her weight from one side to the other, crossing her legs at the knee so that she was leaning slightly to one side. "She's only half-elf, because of me. Her father was a Des'i. And now I think she's been something else, from being here, too." How difficult was this to understand? Humans bred out-of-race all the time, didn't they?

Jessenya nodded, "They hail from what is now Estonia. Many lifetimes ago, though, they owned and reigned over that land." She glanced down at his hand, raising a questioning brow. She of course had never seen a demon, and the woman looked perfectly normal for what she had seen here in Wing City. She waved at her politely before looking back down idly at her table.

She nodded, looking up at him again. "Did I not say this?" She could've sworn she did... her mind was elsewhere today. "She is my daughter, yes. And she has a daughter, too, now." She stood to her full height, which was quite short for a human, but being elven that wasn't so bad.

She nodded at him, smiling again. She really never stopped smiling, it was just her character to keep a genuine smile on her face, no matter the circumstances. Like the grief of fearing you've lost your only child. She ran her fingers over the back of her chair, the marking on her hand exposed. "I fear she is not well, from her absence this is what I assume. I must look for her." She bowed slightly, before making ehr way to the door.

Jessenya enetered the bar, the breeze from the outdoors edging its way in with her. She only looked slightly different than she had the past four day that she had come in. More normal, for todays world, that is. At least.. as normal as a very mis-matched outfit of a skirt, oddly patterened leggings and flowly blouse, was.

She moved through the bar and took her usual set of late, a table in the center of the room. Close enough to the door for a quick exit, and not too far away from either side of the room, for maximum listening capacity.

Jessenya was ulitimately oblivious to the things aorund her, at the moment, which was not effective in her search. But one did get distracted... especially by such amazing, shiny, metal objects. The woman at that store had called this a "watch". And it ticked at a quite even rhythm, and it never stopped. And then little black things moved round the inside of it, sort of like a compass, she thought. But it didn't seem to tell you where to go, because it was a steady circular motion, and they only went in one way.

All this studying of these peoples way was quite mind-boggling, why were things not simple with them? Everything meant something different, one word meant the same as another word which was related to the word that was said at first, but different at the same time. So confusing, they were. This made her very thirsty. Jessenya learned from experience that these coins were the means of bartering to get things one wanted. Unlike the gems, and rubys, and petals she was used to. She gave this coins to one of the little robots, though the things frightened her, in exchange for a tall glass of what they called rum. It seemed to be popular, so it must've been good.

In her recent awakening from her dazed-state, she noticed the whole commotion between the man with the tail, ad... the other thing. That was entirely odd, that was. Everything was odd here.

Rum. It wasn't... as light as she thought it would be. Most drinks were light, amber-colored maybe. But this was, darker. And a little pungent too. She wrinkled her nose at the smell of it, slightly too strong for her tastes. But, maybe it didn't taste as harsh as it smelled. She had lifted the beerstein to her lips just before the man with the tail sat down with his thing. She set the drink down, for now. Was it customary to invite oneself to another's area? Why... you could be beheaded or flogged for such a thing, couldn't you? Maybe not here.... odd ways they had. Very odd ways.

She rested her hands on the table, trying to look as 'presentable' as possible. For some reason, her husband had warned that if she didn't behave a certain way, people would react differently. Perhaps it was the difference in ways that drove him to say this? So many things to consider, nothing so simple.

She almost had a heart attack, which is quite rare for an elf, when the man with the tail bit into this clearly magical thing. She reacted first, thought later. Which resulted in her slapping his hand away from the thing, repeatedly. Until he decided to let the thing go. Not that it really hurt, seeing as she was entirely dainty and such. But perhaps he would get the picture.

Jessenya stared at the man with the tail like he was insane. "Robbed of what? Death? You don't eat such magic! You can die, boy!" By the gods, these people were not only odd, but ignorant as well. Eating magic, that had to have been the only thing you didn't have to teach a child in life. Its such common sense! She had the dignity not to climb over the table, or any demeaning thing as that, but she did stand, to her non-instrusive full height.

She held out her hand expectantly, "Give it here before you injure yourself. or cause something to go awry because of your foolishness." She motioned her finger towards herself inb a beckoning manner, "ONe who does not respect such magic should not have it. That's quite dangerous, eating magic!"

Jessenya went wide-eyed at the spectacle, she had seen magic, yes, but nothing so severe as that. She retracted her hand and took a decent pace backwards as to not get any sort of retaliation aimed anywhere near her general direction. Those little ones, they were not elves, no. They reminded her of children, maybe human, but she doubted that as such power was night dared bestowed upon those strange beings.

She furrowed her brows at his gesture, such vulgarity just spewing from this one! Whatever could that possibly mean? He was hungry, maybe? "You are certainly quite odd, boy." She said, moving her hands to her hips in a mild state of thought, she directed her attention towards the twin. "It is not very proper or nice to steal things from others," She would add, as an afterthought, "Even if it was not theirs to begin with."

She looked down at the man with the tail again, "And why would you dare eat magic? Do you wish to end your life in such a painful way?" She then turned back to the twin, "Now I think you should give that back. Neither of you seem respectful enough towards such magic, yuo should be ashamed of yourselves!" ...Was it mentioned that she was a mother? That may have helped this, beforehand.

Jessenya looked utterly befuddled, these girls were worse than all the village children on their worst day combined and thrown into a room full of mischeif themselves. "That, thing which you just took. Did he not have it in his mouth?" She linked her fingers in front of herself, holding her hands at arms length. "Brilliant? Far from brilliant, its very dangerous. I've seen many lose vitals due to the consumption of such magic. Why, my own daughter Renewan tried once. Couldn't get out of bed for a full moon cycle. She never did it again, she didn't."

She ignored that compliment entirely, as whatever else she said seemed snide and thus made it unacceptable to her, "Well, I see no point in adressing that further then! As long a syou understand you will eventually be harmed, or harm someone else, by this carelessness. Its quite rude, too."

She quipped her finger at the other one, "And you are going to get yourself in trouble as well, if I ever find your parents or guardians or whoever takes care of you troublemakers. I've half a mind to go ahead a freeze you where you sit!" She elongated her words for effect, a very stern look on her face.

Her eyes shifted to the man with the tail, "I've seen children half my size greater than you, Sage. I've no reason to regret that title, and you'd mind yourself poiting at me that way, you may find that finger covered in frostbite." She opened her hands towards him, "I've no use for stealing, let alone such magic. Why would I ever take it from you?"

Jessenya pushed through the doors of Gambit's, the ever pervasive scent of car air freshener wafting in with her... Or possibly on her. She wore a large sun hat, along with a rather simple, flowy white dress. It resembled one she would generally wear back home, lacy and flowy. But it had a tinge of bedroom-esque features. Once couldn't be sure what it was.

She moved herself into a seat towards the center of the bar, her gigantic hat bending this way and that, every time she moved. She ordered herself one of those things they call rum, she'd not had the chance to taste it yet.

Jessenya glanced at the two men, as much as she could glance giving the fact that she had to crane her neck to get the hat out of the way. She raised a brow at the whole spectacle, people were indeed odd in this time. But they had beautiful scents for these things they called cars. And such whimsical clothing. Perhaps that balanced out their oddities.

Rum. Here it was again. She'd think that that man with the tail would swoop in just in time to stop her from drinking it this time, but a quick back-and-forth glance reassured her he wouldn't be. She held her hat with one hand, and used the other to tilt the stein towards her face. She got a nice mouthful, which was swallowed, and then partially coughed back up.

She sputtered and wiped her mouth, that was not good! At all! What was wrong with these people!?

She groaned at stared at that old stein. That was absurdly disgusting, it was. It burned, and it tasted like eating magic. Or at least what she presumed eating magic would taste like, she had never attempted that. Unlike the foolish man with the tail, who had apparently not been raised properly.

She take a smaller sip of the rum, and again made her 'yech' face. But the she noticed the man with the tail on the counter. He was looking quite uncomfortable, and she wasn't sure why. She stared right back at him, unaffected by the shady look.
