John is the type of boy who is always looking for trouble. He often gets in over his head. Often times he manages to get himself out of sticky situations, however usually with the help of others. He is rash and quick to act. He is, however, also quite protective of others and has been known to be able to match wits with even some more formidable foes.

A student at Zauberei. He is a member of the Tier Guild. He is among the top in his class. Not only has he mastered several difficult spells within his own area of expertise, but he has also mastered defensive magic not even taught at the school. He is pretty short for his age. Also due to the effects of summoning certain mystical beasts, John's physical appearance is gradually changing. His hair is starting to gray well before it's time. He has already allied himself with several of these mystical beasts. They are often referred to by many different names. Some cultures call them Gods, others call them Avatars, some have even been known to call them Aeons. John has learned that you can not "befriend" all of them. Some will refuse you for aligning with others. And they won't always answer your call.

Avatar List:

Maxwell - Maxwell is actually John's father. In order for someone to become a summoner someone close to them must be sacrificed. This person becomes an avatar themselves. The reasons the person was sacrificed effects what type of summoner the person will become. It will also effect how the avatar itself turns out. And the avatar will only be available for summoning by the one they were sacrificed for. However there are exceptions to this fact, which is why there is more than one avatar available to summoners.
John's father sacrificed himself out of love to protect John. Because of this Maxwell will appear whenever John is in grave danger. Maxwell is John's greatest and most powerful bodyguard. John may also call forth Maxwell at any time but saying "O vurr iy fnaa fi meudk za ldiz fnija cni cierk vurr za fnaod ayazg. Maxwell" (pronounced: oh ffoo-rr-rr eeeww fnayay fee mehoodk tsay ldee-ts fneeyay cnee ceeeh-rrk ffoo-rr-rr tsay fnayohd ayewway-tsg. Mahcks-well).

Zalgart - The guardian of the skies. This avatar is the master of winds. He will blow you away before you could even say no. He is very stubborn and will only allow himself to be called forth by those who can out wit him. He was once a Marquis of an ancient city that was built in Fuybeor Valley. A land that was well known for it's tranquil weather and constant breezes. It was nicknamed, by many traders, The Valley of the Wind. However one day a tyrant king demanded that the Marquis bow to his will. The Marquis agreed that he would if the king could prove himself a strategist by beating him in a game of chess. The king failed to do so and so the Marquis refused to kneel before him. Outraged the tyrant came back the lands and took it by force. The peoples of the land put up one hell of a fight. The Marquis sacrificed himself to a young summoner in order to defend his peoples. Upon the third night of the tyrant's besiege, a massive wind overtook the invading army and the wiped them out. However at a cost it also completely devastated the land, destroying the town and turning the lush green planes into a sandpit of undying winds. The survivors of Fuybeor, have built a shrine to honor the late Marquis. It was built at the site of his old palace. As a result of so many people dedicating their lives to worship him, over the centuries he became free from the shackles of being tied down to one summoner, the one he sacrificed himself for, and now resides within the temple that honors him. He will allow himself to be called upon by any who dares cross the wind scorched dessert and beat him at the game of wits.

Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.
