So begins...
Jordan Grater's Story
Jordan Grater "Hello madame." Jordan said, wanting to wave a hand in greeting to Lily, but couldn't seeing as he was using his hands to apply pressure around her wound.
Jordan Grater "So..." Jordan said, not knowing what to converse about as he waited for the 15 minutes to pass.
Jordan Grater "Jordan, and no problem. I'm just happy you didn't get wounded worse." Jordan glanced at the clock in the bar which indicated the time was ╚. Only 10 more minutes to go until he could disinfect and bandage the wound. "What were you doing fighting with that guy anyways?"
Jordan Grater Jordan glanced at the clock again, noting the time was δ. "14 minutes. Oh my name is Jordan by the way." He informed her, taking his hands off the wound and reaching for his antibiotic gel. "So, what brings you around Gambits?" He asked her as he unscrewed the cap of the bottle.
Jordan Grater "I believe I have just been insulted." Jordan said jokingly, as he applied a piece of bandage on the wound and then antibiotics on top of it.
Jordan Grater Jordan yawned himself at the sight of her yawning. "So, you part wolf or cat or something?" He asked, nodding at he ears and teeth as he began to pull her pant leg up past the bullet wound so that he could properly bandage the injury.
Jordan Grater "Why would they do that to you?" Jordan asked her, resisting the urge to ask her if she wanted help or anything. He didn't know what they did and he knew from experience she didn't like people interfering, but the thought kept reoccurring to him to invite her to stay with him and his friends. He would probably end up asking her later.
Jordan Grater "Aren't you a bit young to be forced to kill? They torture you!" Jordan began to realize her age as he looked at her and felt a strong urge to help her. It was almost uncontrollable. He finished wrapping the bandage around her leg. "I believe the way your family treats you is unacceptable. If you want, John and I have an extra room if you want to stay with us and if our family comes for you, I'll help you get away from them." He paused for a moment and then thought to himself, 'or fight them off if I have to'.
Jordan Grater John's pet fuzzle is in the corner of the room sleeping. It wakes up for a moment and notes that the time on the bar clock is ╣. He then falls back asleep.
Jordan Grater "Well, I can't just let you go. I would rather have me hurt than you at risk of torture and having to kill more people." Jordan told her as he put out his hand to wipe away the tears falling down her face. "I don't count young from when you first killed someone." He said, letting off a small smile as he said it. "You're still young in my eyes."
Jordan Grater Jordan understood her worries. He had helped countless people and they all gave basically the same argument as to why he shouldn't help him. "I don't carry these around for nothing." He told her, looking at his four, yes four, katanas in their sheathes at his hip. He only had two arms though. "I know how to fight." He informed her, tightening the bandage slightly before finally standing up. "Also, with that leg you won't be getting quite as many missions done which means you'll get tortured. I can not willingly allow you to head in to a place where you are now sure to get tortured."
Jordan Grater "I would expect that. Only humans can understand one another. Anyone who would hurt a woman for no reason and force her to kill for them, is not a human at all." His kindness was quite baffling seeing as not many still believed in chivalry in this day and age.
Jordan Grater "It's a dieing art." He said, letting out a grin. He put his hand forward for her to grab hold of to help her up.
Jordan Grater He took out a key to room 206. "It's on the second floor if you want me to show it to you. Here's the keys though. A few other people live with us so don't be surprised to see other people in the kitchen." He said as he held out the keys to her.
Jordan Grater Jordan had planned on offering her his arm, but seeing as she was set on doing the task at hand herself, he followed her.
Jordan Grater John's pet fuzzle is on the bar counter wearing a bar apron. It was his rotation as bartender tonight. Yes, the people in the bar had rotations that most of them ignored.
Jordan Grater Quark woke up from his spot in a shadow somewhere in the bar. He had been sleeping undisturbed by the noise, his cloak stopping him from being spotted. He got up from where he was and stretched out his arms as he let out a yawn.
Jordan Grater John dropped from the bar rafters randomly, smacking his face on the hard ground of the bar.
Jordan Grater He grabbed the dagger before the tip could even touch her skin, his other hand moving to stop her body from moving in to the dagger. "Kisa, it's not your time. If it was, fate would have killed you off by now. You're still alive and the universe has kept you alive for a reason. Not all people are meant to die. Things change and so do people. you don't need to live a life filled with death anymore! I won't let you live a life filled with death any longer!"
