Now of course June had heard quite a bit of this little triad between the current director and the parolee she was supposed to be interviewing. "Have a seat Mr. Lessard." She said smiling as he walked into the conference room. She had seen his file and was completely confused as to why someone might put a boy this dangerous on parol. Child vampires were notorious for being petulant, maladaptive, and a risk to both societies; Seen and Unseen. "It has come to light that the Aschen have released you for parol, and handed your case over to us." She spoke clearly, concisely and without so much of a hint of the bitterness that Catherine could convey at times.

June Blackwelder nodded slightly as she wrote a few things down onto a yellow legal pad on the table in front of her. "The Aschen have an unhealthy interest in the supernatural. We prefer not to work with them as much as possible." She commented smiling slightly. Of course June knew that Parson didn't exactly fly under the radar as most members of the Unseen did, hence his getting caught. "What would you define as lately Parson? You know that we have methods of making the dead speak, so don't lie to us."

Of course this was technically breaking one of their own laws, but many times victims of murder and death by torturous means were all to willing to speak from the beyond. June was one of these people intimately familiar with how to get in touch with such... things. It didn't mean she liked it, or that she wanted to make use of these so called 'gifts'. But the Council found her valuable, and rarely did she have to make use of the ability. Such cases were few and far between.

June made a slight 'Mhm' noise as she listened to Parson lie through his teeth. To be honest all she could do was place him on an even stricter probation. He'd not been breaking any rules lately that she was made aware of, although she suspected there were some holes in the information she'd been provided. "Well it seems you're on the right track.." She said slowly as she glanced through her notes on the boy.

"As a condition of your probation, I want you to start seeking more if not all of your supply from donors. The synthetic substance may not meet your needs nutritionally." June said after a moment. She could see that he was trying to lie to her about his activities. "I also want you to avoid any necromantic practices. Your a child, and are not that much of a risk to us persay, nor are you terribly smart. What you are is sneaky, conniving, and underhanded about your activities. For lying to me about them I could if I desired place a binding of a sorts on you, but it's rarely done to children, if at all."

June Blackwelder thought for a moment. That was a bit of a sticking point, what was she supposed to do with the boy's so called familiar. A child like this wasn't likely to have a pet, not in the least. "Babbit will have to either become seized by the MCU and Council or you will have to find a way to remedy that problem. If your still learning, then take the time to learn how not to break a significant law." She answered tucking her notes away in his file and closing the folder. "Don't try to communicate by psychic means. The building has fuzzers." June added seeing just where the child's thoughts might go. A typical, desperate move; one she'd seen at least once before.

What was it about this particular corner of the country that seemed to aid in idiocy with the Unseen?

"Your hearing is over Mr. Lessard." June replied ignoring the boy as she scooped up the folder and readied herself to leave. "One of our agents will escort you out." She added motioning to a female agent who had been standing close by during the hearing. No way would they leave a council member alone with someone for a probationary hearing.

The week had been interesting, if not tiring; it was hard to remember the last time she'd actually had to act in her full capacity as an agent of the MCU. Arresting one agent, then a parole hearing of another unfortunately well known member of the vampire community. Catherine was starting to think that Parson Lessard's family didn't care what happened, as long as it didn't affect them. "How did we get his blasted case anyway?" She muttered to herself as she climbed the trail up to the cliffs. The wind off the lake was cooling, but carried a strange underlying scent to it; something akin to burning grass. The weather far as she had been aware of was fair enough, they'd had good amounts of rain when they needed it, no really dry periods to speak of.
"What in the name of…?" Catherine questioned finding a pentagram seared into what should have been normal dirt and grass.

"Alexander.. you might want to put a leash on that kid!" June yelled from one of the desks she'd taken over for the time being. Despite being a member of the Unseen Council, it was nice not to have to deal with the daily political bull from people. She hadn't explained what her real purpose for visiting was, except that she was there to help and would never go into great detail. Grumpily swatting papers back down onto the desk and muttering something about it being insane to be eighty degrees outside in November, she went back to work.

"Taglio, what's gotten into you today?" June asked once the boy reached her desk. "I'm beginning to wonder if you don't need to go to obedience school." She added half joking. It was hard to stay mad at the boy for long, he was too cute and usually genuinely sorry for any acts of disobedience he'd committed. "Now lets get these papers picked up and then what do you say we go grab an ice cream?"

"Of course you are, and I'm fine. I checked myself out three days ago." Catherine replied slowly thinking now would be a good time for those pain medications that the doctor had prescribed, and another day or two in the hospital wouldn't have hurt. "Nothing like a blur of fur hitting you at 60 miles per hour.. since when did he decide that's okay?" She muttered to herself mostly as she slid her badge through the card reader on the doors heading out of the lobby. "And no I don't need anything except to wring Kasimir's neck."

June smiled slightly at the little boy and his buzzing about the room, he was adorably earnest about nearly everything. Sadly, she knew that would eventually change once he got older, as even the Unseen world wasn't the kindest of places. "Well we'll see, but she might want to get settled in before you give her another one of your patented flying tackles."

Ishae was not entirely certain why she was here, but assumed she must of left something at the office party Molly took her too. Not that the relationship had worked out. But the two were still friends, and Ishae was glad for it.

They were better as friends anyway, and she still hadn't figured out which gender she liked best. If any. It's not like she'd ever been allowed to contemplate such a thing before. Still, she was shown to Miss Blackwelder's door, and she knocked politely, waiting for an answer.

"Miss Blackwelder? It's Ishae. You wanted me to drop by?" Technically, she had an appointment. Technically. Ishae tightened her blindfold once more, so that it wouldn't fall down. She hardly wanted a vision in the middle of meeting with someone after all.

Opening the door, June offered a smile at Ishae. "Yes, please come in and have a seat." She answered motioning into an office much cleaner and neater than either director's. "I hear that you have a special talent." June added as she shut the door behind the other woman and returned to her seat. She'd managed to pry the details out of Alexander when questioning him about the events at the party that had happened weeks ago.

June seemed nice. Ishae came and sat down, as indicated. "I suppose so." She said, rather baffled. This wasn't at all what she had thought. "It has its limitations, but I haven't met too many other Seers." That much was true.

She tugged at the knot on her blindfold, nervous. "Are you needing my help, or something? It's rather tricky, Seeing things on purpose..." And never as clear as the accidental ones.

"Well..." June began trying to figure out how best to phrase things; recruitment had never been something she was good at. "What did Miss Bronson tell you about the MCU?" She started with, trying to get something to work off of with Ishae. "And you could say that, I'm currently running an investigation into the events of October 31st. You are aware that Director Dumitrescu was assaulted? You said something to her before she left what was supposed to be temporarily, the party." She added picking up a pen to write something down on a slip of paper on her desk. Granted, she could have had everything solved in the span of a few days, but she wasn't exactly allowed to exercise her powers in her current state. For years now, June had been an alias of Artemis, the greek goddess of the hunt; and so far the cover hadn't been blown. In fact, she'd even managed to worm her way up into the rankings of The Unseen Council. What interest she had in particular with the MCU and it's Council was still something of a mystery to most other's than her.

She bit her bottom lip and tried to remember. "Molly said the MCU polices...well, basically supernatural people. I guess that includes me." She shrugged at this. She didn't misbehave, and actively tried to avoid using her ability, until it built up a little too much. "I remember the party of course. I hadn't Seen anything in a little bit, so I guess I was spilling over some. If I don't use it all, they all build up in my head." Though she tried not to See in public. It always seemed rude, to her.

"I got upset at one point. I was a pretty sheltered kid. There's a lot I don't know. The blindfold slipped over my eyes, and I started to predict something. But every time I make predictions when I'm angry, they end up being...well. It feels like I caused the disaster, not just foreSaw it. Molly pulled the blindfold up, and the prediction stopped. I'm afraid I never recall the words I say, just disjointed images."

She smiled slightly, though it wasn't a happy smile. "I recall a lot of blood..." She shook her head. "Molly might have caught the words, but she's terribly sick right now. They've even put her in, um...a ward to keep her from spreading it about. No visitors."

"Quarantined." June offered. "But that's fine, Molly may eventually be questioned, I haven't reached that point yet though." She added making more notes on her piece of paper. "But yes.. MCU polices and protects the supernatural... and that's where we come to why I asked to here. I think you might make a fine addition to our ranks, in our line of work it pays to be two steps ahead of the other guy if you know what I mean." June said putting away her pen and looking directly across the desk at the woman in front of her. She hadn't said anything about what exactly had happened all the way back in October, and most likely wouldn't.

Raising an eyebrow, June regarded the woman carefully. "Well yes, that's what I was getting at. You'd be placed in a communications department, desk work. As long as you can read and write, I think you'll be okay." She answered. The woman could be very valuable indeed, especially when it came to Kasimir who seemed to like to hide things from everyone on the Council. June had always been of the opinion that the man was very secretive, and seemed to revel in keeping everyone in the dark. "Let me say this, the Director has never put much stock in preemptive warnings. At least not within my realm of experience, and what happened I don't think any of the rest of us would have seen coming."

"Yes well... that's something that this particular branch director will have to do." June explained. While she could assign, she felt bad about usurping authority outside of anything involving her investigation. Granted this did apply, but she still felt a little guilty about hiring someone like Ishae who might make Alexander cagey and Catherine even more anxious than normal. "As for the particulars well, we'll work those out in orientation."

The day was warm, sunny, and all around just nice as June stood looking into one of the windows of the shops along the street. She'd happened on a rare day off, and really couldn't decide how to spend it. Sleeping wasn't really an attractive option, and simply sitting around wasn't one either. Frowning slightly, she debated on whether or not she should go into the shop and have more of a look around.

"Err.. hi." June replied looking around, then settling her gaze on on the satyros nearby. Granted she was used to seeing these sorts of things in her daily life working, but outside of work it donned on her how strange it really was to see something like the satyros in broad daylight. Turning from the window to the girl, she made an effort to focus her attention on the girl, and not the chirpy voice emitting from her. "Can I help you?" Was the first thing she thought to ask.
