Juniper Kalt

Werewolf

0 · 140 views · located in The Infinite Void

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by RedPitbull

Description

Juniper and her brother had been walking along a road nicknamed 'Bloody Dog', every so often a dog was found completely destroyed, parts of him found all over the road, sometimes all over town, but no one believed the rumors. One night on a full moon, Juniper was walking alone, when she began to feel uneasy, and instead of being calm in the situation and sticking to the road, she takes off into the woods, just barely lit by the full moon. The whole ordeal took at least 5 seconds but to her it felt like 5 hours, she stumbled into a cabin in the woods, where she found a weak old woman who had the aura of a wise, young woman.

So begins...

Cassandra honestly had no idea what was going on, she was so innocent, being homeschooled in a small town, "So, I'm really embarrassed for asking this, but is this what people call a first date?" she asked, feeling herself turn just about, if not redder than her hair.

Just as Juniper got to the door to the bar, her phone buzzed from her pocket before 'Folsom Prison Blues' began playing, pulling her phone out of her pocket, she rolled her eyes as she answered in her sweetest, most professional voice.
"Mr.Brown, I was wondering if you got my email about having everything on your desk, but since you're calling, I am assuming you did" she said sweetly as she opened the doors, after a few 'mum's' and 'I sees' her boss had finally finished up his normal rants about how everything everyone else does is insufficient she finally finished her end, "Yes sir, I will see you first thing in the afternoon, now I just got home, and have to check on the horses, I really must go now" hung up, turned her phone on silent and made her way to the bar.

"I'll have a mango margarita" she ordered as she sat beside a rather handsome man, once she received her drink, she set it down before telling the bar tender she'd be opening a tab.

Oh gods, now there are women right next to him. Vincent thought angrily to himself. That was going to make his target considerably harder to neutralize. His eyes flicked back to...Sir Mollem McGregor...and he watched as McGregor's hand slipped into his pocket, and Vincent heard a low whine over the staccato talk of the bar. He was charging up a weapon, no doubt. Did he feel threatened? Had he seen the way the man on the phone had been looking at him? He suddenly felt cold inside. Had McGregor seen him?
He quickly unsheathed his Rendgun and laid it on his lap, under the table. His left leg began to bounce up and down as he scanned the bar patrons. Was there anyone else aside from the man who had seen the TV? Did McGregor have any bodyguards? Who was that woman he was talking to? An accomplice, maybe? Would this obscure empire pay him more if he brought in the both of them instead of just one? There was only one way to find out.

Once finished with the can of Mountain Dew, Gabrielle tossed it into the green container meant for recycling. Her shoulders ached and she realized it was probably time to start working out again. It was a shame her sister had once again disappeared, but something told the teen that the elusive female would show up out of the blue again. Grumbling, Gabby leaned back and closed her eyes, trying to ignore the chatter coming from the television, though she did pick up on the blip about Mollem. Once upon a time she might have cared, but not after what happened to her when she was kidnapped. Sliding open her eyes, she glanced around once more, feeling the tension mounting again.

"Guess Gambit's isn't Gambit's without a damn fight or a murder or three." She muttered, reaching down to move one of the weapons closer to her just in case.

Meg tilted her head from side to side, deliberately cracking her neck. Her eyes narrowed at the mention of Kroger. “You say Kroger was a terrorist, and an enemy of the state,” she started, her eyes shifting over toward the man with the phone, aware of his sudden interest in Mollem. “But let me ask you one thing, Mollem: Isn’t that what your people consider you now?” Her eyes shifted over to the other man, noticing his interest as well. She took a deep breath and turned her attention back to Mollem. “I loved Kroger Haggai,” she said, her voice taking on a deep tone of regret. “I absolutely loved him. And you just couldn’t stand that. You thought I belonged to you. I became a possession. That’s it. You did everything not because you loved me, but because you wanted to hurt him. So yes, your actions have indeed made me a stronger person. But they’ve also made me hard and bitter.” She lifted her glass of water to her lips. “And lonely.”

Her eyes shifted to Graeme again, and then again t Vincent. She heard the click and the whine from within Mollem’s pocket. “I’m not going back either, though perhaps the government would stay an execution order for me if I were to turn in their most wanted. I could gamble on the fact that they shouldn’t recognize me. I shouldn’t turn up in any of their systems. Everything that could identify me has been altered except for my DNA. They’d have no reason to even suspect I was anyone other than Meg Sanderson. As far as anyone is concerned, Elise Bradshaw disappeared completely.” She glanced to the television. “I highly doubt it though. They’ll still figure me out… see me as a deserter, and only a deserter. I’d hand you in, expecting lenience only to be made an example of. I’m not going to turn you in.” She flicked her eyes between the two once more, trying to calculate which posed more of a threat. Man, she wished she was armed. She lowered her voice and leaned across the table. “I don’t think that is going to help you right now,” she offered. “Perhaps it might be best to nonchalantly leave before a phone call can be made.” Her brows furrowed. “For both of us to leave.”

Vincent’s eyes flicked over to the mysterious hooded figure, and he felt a low aura of power emanating from him with such an intensity that it made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. His lips twisted into a grimace as he looked away, fixing his narrowed eyes on McMollem and sliding his fingers around the weathered leather grip of his Rendgun, testing the sensitive trigger with his finger. He didn't know what the deal was with the mysterious hooded guy, but he didn't like him...he looked too unpredictable.
With another quick glance around the room, he quickly looked down and switched a small dial on his weapon, turning the dial away from an small embossed image of a skull, and twisting it to the left, until the point of the dial rested on an image of a metal lightning bolt. I need him alive…and I need to do this quickly. He thought to himself, a small smile tugging at his lips in anticipation of the thrill.
Looking around once more, he abruptly stood, knocking the chair back, withdrawing his weapon from under the table and aiming it directly at McMollem, pulling the trigger and sending a bolt of blue electricity arcing straight for him, accompanied by a loud electric cracking noise.
