Description
Standing about 5'6, Jyll has mid-length dark hair and green eyes, and is often spotted wearing either glasses or prescription goggles. She sports a fairly perpetual dark scowl, unless she's learning or being malicious, whereupon a crazed grin descends. All of her pale, exposed skin except her face is covered in light scratches, thin scars, and burn marks, as well as a goodly amount of light brown freckles. She is long of limb and moves almost like a cat, a bizarre fluidity that uses her whole body. Broad shoulders and hips are balanced by a narrow waist and densely packed lean muscle. She wears a black tank-top, with tight, low-rise, dark-wash jeans and a pair of paint-splattered, well-worn running shoes bought in a market in Kuwait for eight dinar. She is also sometimes seen wearing a pair of black leather motorcycle gloves with reinforced knuckles and the fingertips cut off. She doesn't really look dangerous, just odd.
Personality
Quick to anger and quicker to laugh at the misfortune of others, Jyll is a determined, somewhat humorless young woman with the death of the world close to the forefront of her mind at all times - she oozes unapproachability, and her look says that you will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes - you know, the one she leads.
Equipment
Jyll carries a Kahr K9 9mm handgun in a small holster slung at her right hip, and a Remington 870-based Serbu Super-Shorty shotgun in a thigh holster on her left side. Sheathed beside the Kahr is a WWII-era vintage V-42 Stiletto, once issued to the Devil's Brigade. She has no body armor of any kind, but she's fast as hell. She also carries a set of lockpicks with her, as well as a cell-phone and her wallet. She has no other means of storage on her other than the holsters, and four pockets; two in the front of her jeans, two in the back.
History
Growing up in small-town, near-rural Canada, she was coddled as she was raised. Without much in the way of street smarts, it's a miracle she's not dead yet. After dropping out of high school several times and finally getting her degree in her early twenties, Jyll found herself still without much direction; so she decided to lead the revolution. She's looking for recruits - only a few qualities are needed. Loyalty, honesty, self-awareness, and intelligence are those qualities. Simple-as.

A spindle (sometimes called a drop spindle) is a wooden spike (known as the shaft) used for spinning wool, flax, hemp, cotton, and other fibers into thread. It is commonly weighted at either the bottom middle or top, most commonly by a circular or spherical object called a whorl, and may also have a hook, groove or notch, though spindles without these are also common. Spindle whorls have been found in archaeological digs around the world.
