Artrea the Healing Gauntlets
Artrea were gauntlets worn by a legendary man named Lysander Enlight. The gauntlets were hidden beneath the soil of The Exalted Mountains and were used to light the world when Eras had almost consumed his siblings. For seven turnings of Gaia had Artrea served to the be sole beacon on hope for all living things on the world.
The gauntlets are made from a mysterious metal which is completely white in color, almost as if they were made of our pearl. But they are as harder than any metal known to the current world as the knowledge died with Those Who No Longer Roam. They will light the path when light is needed most.
Glittering feathers protrude backwards and out from the wrist. The fingers are sharpened like ten deadly claws that can grip any surface short of diamonds. It is easy to scale a wall with the gauntlets. But that is not what make the weapons deadly. So sharp in fact are they, that they can pierce through most armor and can slice through human flesh like a razor through parchment. But their greatest power is the ability to touch others and heal their mortal wounds through the use of Will.
There is always a weakness that comes with weapons of great power. Those who adorn the gauntlets and use its abilities will soon find their eyesight failing on them over a long period of time. All those that have ever used them—even once—have gone blind with age. And when they are used to heal, the adorner will find themselves very drained as if their own life-force had been passed into the other in order to save their life

Description
So begins...
Karasaad Vidathari's Story
Karasaad Vidathari grinned as the man complimented his bird, "Thank ya' sir, It's part of my trade." He said, taking a sip of his water. He stood up and took a sip of his water, "Wonder where the bird went." He asked himself under his breath. He looked about on the ceiling for his poor little bird. It was probably being buffeted by the air conditioners in here.
Karasaad Vidathari saw the little card-bird flutter lightly around Melanthe, and then back off through the crowd. He lost sight of it from there, but he would occasionally see it flit over someones head or dive into a large crowd. It was probably never going to find anyone. The card birds never find what he asks them to find. He adjusted his shoes and noticed someone had dropped gum on the floor. It had been crushed into the floor, so he didn't try to peel it off.
The small card bird landed on Weratte's shoulder. It chirped quietly, and hopped slightly. Karasaad had lost sight of the bird ages ago, and quite frankly stopped caring about the thing. He supposed he'd walk around the ballroom before he went back to the bar. He stretched his arms slightly and started walking through the heart of the crowd.
Karasaad Vidathari moved quietly through the crowd, but tripped. He almost fell into Mirtisima, but caught himself with magic. It appeared as if he had just fallen into a piece of glass just floating in the air. He then stood up, "I'm really... sorry." He said, slightly distracted by her looks. He then quickly shifted his gaze to just over her head. He was quite a bit taller than her. He placed his hands in his pockets.
Karasaad Vidathari looked down at his feet for a moment and noticed he had dropped all of his playing cards. He snapped, and they all arranged themselves into a deck and levitated up and into his hand. He grinned slightly, "Well, uh.. would you like to dance?" He asked, scratching the back of his head. He hadn't danced in a long time. He hadn't come with anyone, so he guessed he'd just ask around.
Karasaad Vidathari grinned at her as he took her hand. He lead her out onto the dance floor, and listened to the song for a moment. It seemed to be a medium tempo so when he started dancing he paced his movements accordingly. He obviously had some dancing skills, but he was a bit rusty so he missed one or two steps at the beginning of their dance. He wore a smile, he enjoyed dancing, especially with a lovely lady.
Karasaad Vidathari winked at her, "I don't think I got your name, I'm Karasaad." He said, continuing to dance. He hoped she didn't think he was strange for not asking her name earlier. He hoped perhaps he was as good at dancing as he thought he was. He had tied his hair up just before he came so he had a bit of a silver ponytail.
Karasaad Vidathari laughed a bit as the song slowed to a stop. He followed the music and slowly returned to a standing position rather than dancing. He was breathing a bit harder then before due to the dancing and he couldn't tell if his face burnt from the dance or from being embarrassed. He rubbed the back of his neck, "Perhaps you'd like to find a table?" He asked, looking around the room.
Karasaad Vidathari smiled and led her to a table, "So, how has your evening with me been?" He asked, crossing his legs. He had honestly never danced with a woman he wanted to impress. When he was in the Circle his master taught him how to dance for some meeting. He pulled out a playing card while he waited for an answer and folded it into a little person shape. He then put his hand next to it and moved his hand as if it was walking. The card then began to walk across the table and adventure on it's own. He prided himself in his card tricks.
Karasaad Vidathari smiled at her and noticed she was watching his card trick, "I'm a bit of a show magician, so you'll have to excuse me if I show off a bit." He joked. He grabbed the little person and folded it into a bird. He then tossed the bird up a bit. It fluttered and flew off somewhere above them. It tweeted and then fell apart and into rose petals. The ceiling would rain petals on the two for a few moments. He then pulled the card out of his sleeve as if it had never left his hand.
Karasaad Vidathari chuckled a bit, "I'm not amazing, there are probably a ton of better magic users in this city." He said, winking. He was torn between wanting to stay so he could talk to this girl and leaving because these clothes where hell and he just wanted to go home and changed back to his regular clothes. He fiddled with his wrist band and grinned. He normally doesn't do tricks anywhere other than the gardens. He reached back and undid his ponytail. It fell down and seemed to glint in the light. He continued to play around with the bracelet on his arm.
Karasaad Vidathari thought for a moment. He honestly pondered her question. He repeated it quietly, "Do I fear death..." He closed an eye and then he grinned, "Why should I be?" He shrugged, "We all go someday." He said, beginning to laugh. He popped his fingers and kept constant eye contact with her. He liked her eyes, a brilliant hazel.
Karasaad Vidathari laughed, "Do like to wear dress clothes?" He asked, turning his slightly, "I feel restricted in them." He admitted, un-buttoning his cuffs. He then balanced a card on it's thin side. While waited for her answer he slapped it down to the table. Once he picked up his hand the card was a small length of rope. He then held it up for her to see since he knew she liked his tricks.
The setting changes from Lectre Mansion Grand Ballroom to Wing City Gardens (South)
Karasaad Vidathari took a deep breath, "Ah, I gotta get out of these damn clothes." He said, sounding agitated. He grabbed his collar and pulled it had. The clothes seemed to change color and gain features before her eyes. He then opened his arms so she could see what he normally wears, he wore a lot of strangely colored jewels and chains. He grinned at her and his eyes even became their real color. They went from his original dull grey to a strange blue. otherwise his features remained unchanged.
Karasaad Vidathari bowed to her, "I'm glad you think so." He said smiling. A few of the jewels seemed to change colors rapidly while others slowly changed. He looked up at the moon, "It's very beautiful outside." He said, quietly. He then looked at her and grinned, "We should do this again sometime." He said, laughing a bit. He carried several Dream-catchers and trinkets on his belt and they clinked together along with other jewels on his clothes.
Karasaad Vidathari smiled and looked at her face, and then he dropped the ball and he blushed really bad. He blinked a few times and tried to look another direction. He then cleared his throat, "So.. uh.. wanna see more tricks?" He asked, still looking at the moon. He then blinked a few times and tried not to let her see his face.
Karasaad Vidathari sat down at a stone bench and chuckled. He reached into his pocket and pulled out several marbles all colored like planets in the Home Galaxy. He tossed them up into the air and they arranged into the layout of the galaxy. They all rotated and revolved. He then got a rock and sent it crashing into the one that looked like Earth's moon. "I like this one." He laughed.
Karasaad Vidathari laughed and lost his concentration and all of the marbles cam crashing down on the two of them. This just caused him to laugh more, but the marbles where very solid so it stung a bit. He hoped she wasn't hurt but he just couldn't stop laughing for the moment. He then snapped out of it, "Are you alright?"
Karasaad Vidathari leaned back and fell into the huge rose maze that the garden was famous for. He then stood and held out his arm, "Why don't we go on an adventure?" He asked, hoping she'd grab on. He loved mazes and he heard this one was a doozy to get through.
Karasaad Vidathari took her hand and started running in a direction. The sun was down and the roof was covered by roses so it was insanely dark. He could barely see, but it didn't matter. He ran blindly through tunnel after tunnel holding her hand. He was having a lot of fun running about like this.
