Bio: Born on Aelora, Kar'la fled the planet to Terra at the age of 7 1/2. She has transitioned into the Terran jungle with the rest of the clan and has spent her years learning the ways of her people. Kar'la though is know to over-think things and often lets curiosity get the best of her.

The trees around the path shifted slightly as a figure jumped from tree to tree with apparent ease. Looking down from the tree she had just reached Kar'lah noticed the woman collapsed in the path. Jumping down onto the path quietly she approached the collapsed figure.

Kar'lah looked the woman over before leaning in to sniff the air around her. The figure was clearly breathing that was apparent. She had heard humans were in the village but she had never seen one up close. She looked around and grabbed a branch nearby picking it up and poking the woman with the stick gently. If unsuccessful in rousing the figure she would poke slightly harder.

One of Jurai's eyes lazily popped open as the stick tapped her side. When it came again, her hand moved out to catch the end of the stick, eyes landing onto the Mira that had come close. She used her other arm to prop herself up, then wipe her greasy black hair from her face.

"... what are you doing?" she asked the young mira, trying to weakly scuttle back from the creature.

Kar lept back slightly as the woman awoke. "I was curious, I've never seen a human up close before." The creature said softly keeping her eyes low to the ground.

"Do humans normally sleep in the middle of pathways? Is this customary?" Kar asked the question that many would push off as sarcasm with a completely serious tone.

"... I don't think I've ever seen a mira this close up before," grunted the woman, rolling over to try and push herself up to her feet. She was wobbly, and had trouble with standing up at all.

She arched an eyebrow at the mira, and hooked a finger into her collar to allow some breeze in. "I... it's a bit warm. I didn't know where else to go," she admitted.

Kar'lah looked the woman over as she spoke. "You're wearing a lot for the jungle. No wonder you were were so tired you probably are getting the heat sickness." Kar'lah said.

"Come with me, I will show you to a place where you can get something to drink and maybe get out of those heavy clothes." She said motioning for Jurai to follow her.

Jurai narrowed her eyes at the mira, but followed her regardless of any suspicions. "I don't have anything else to wear," she said. "Is it okay to walk around the village in so little? I don't want to ruin these clothes."

She tripped over her feet here and there, but caught herself every time. She wasn't well. Walking didn't help.

Kar'lah would walk as if thinking for a moment. "We shall find you something you look about my size she said with a nod. She lead them over a flimsy looking plank and rope bridge to one of the hutts. Outside the small hutt there was a small group of very young Mira playing some form of game.

Kar'lah walked into the hut looked around and then motioned for Jurai to follow. "We can get you stuff here." She said with a nod. "This is where I stay."

"Your size?" asked Jurai. "I suppose we're similar enough..." She let her eyes wander up and down the female mira's body. It was frightening how similar they actually were, but so different at the same time.

"Do you all build these yourselves?" asked the young, human woman.

Kar'lah would let out a small smile. If someone had told her a month ago that she would be talking to a human she wouldn't have believed it. Now this seemed to be unreal, something apart from the general day to day routine.

"I didn't help build them I was too young but yes we did. We built the entire village." She said. She began to rummage though a wodden bin of sorts and pulled out a few things laying them ontop of the bin. There appeared to be a mix of plant leather and fur pieces. "Ah pick what you want I'll wait outside." She said walked out of the hut closing a fur curtain and shooing some leering children who were trying to catch sight of the new visitor to the village.

Jurai nodded to the stranger and bent down, looking into the bin. She reached out and expected a few of them. Fur, she was familiar with, but not so little. She ran her thumbs over the surfaces and flipped some of them over, eyeing them fully.

She stood up and began to peel off her clothes, which stripped off like a second layer of skin the way it stuck to her. Three layers of shirts is what she had on. Three layers of heat. The second she parted with it all, she felt a rush of cool air hit her body, and for once she let out a relieved sigh since coming to the village.

With her clothing in one hand, she came out of the hut, arms close to herself, legs close together, in the least clothing she had ever worn in public. Or so she remembered. It was more the feeling of vulnerability that made her think this wasn't normal for her.

"I... feel naked," she muttered to Kar'lah, feeling the wind around everything so freely with a cringe. "Exposed."

Kar'lah nodded as if thinking for a moment. "It is that or be hot. No one here should judge you if anything it makes you look more like one of us. The elders may even be um respect you further to see you embracing part of our culture!" She excalimed with a grin.

"So now that that is sorted lets get some water!" She said panting her tonge jokingly. "And then maybe you can tell me what it's like where you come from?" She asked with a look of wonder in here eyes.

She followed Kar'lah further to get some water, and whoever she followed in the past, whatever god, knew she needed it. "As for... where I came from," she began. "I... don't remember very much. But... it was cold."

Kar'lah would lead them to pool of water near a large waterfall in the city. Water dripped and poured from some rocks. Kar'lah took two large leaves and gave one to Jurai. Kar cupped a leaf and alloed it to collect water before using it as a cup and funneling the water into her mouth in demonstration for Jurai.

"Don't remember? Did you loose your memory or something?" She would ask the woman.

"I... think so," said Jurai, watching Kar'lah carefully. She got the idea fairly quickly, and knelt down next to the mira woman to do the same. "I can remember some things. Some very vague things. But no... names."

Jurai lifted the leaf and tilted it into her mouth, letting out a breathy, and even surprised sigh after the water slipped down her throat. "I don't remember water ever tasting like that."

Kar'lah would pause as if thinking for a long moment about what Jurai was saying. She had heard lots of tails of magic and it's dangerous effects but then again she had seen a lot of people result in similar injuries from accidents. Either way she now had somewhat of a general idea on what to do.

"It sounds like you need help fixin' your memory. " Kar'lah said "We have a young Shamana here in the village, Shamana Ryth. I can take you to him if you want?" She asked.

Kar'lah would lead Jurai through the twists of the path back to the village, the would enter the village square area and Kar'lah would stop. She wasn't exactly sure where Ryth would be but this seemed a likely place as any to start looking.

"Shamana? Are you here?" She called out as they approached the hut. "I have someone in need of your abilities!"
