Kiera pondered the possibility of Dusk using the reception to launch his strike. Finding him waiting there amongst the punch seemed a rather interesting image... but no, he would be interrupting the ceremony. From what Kiera had been told, it was Gina he was there for. "I am certain... that it will be... wonderfully extravagant. I cannot help... but wonder how... the bartender... or the slayer... managed to acquire such... a magnificent venue."

Kiera lifted a brow. "You have... powerful friends... the two of you. I would not have thought... the bartender as the type... for such."

The girl shrugged, giving Legion a sidelong glance with those black orbs of hers. "There is little to... talk about, Legion... Gerasene. I am not an... interesting person." This was untrue -- to most, Kiera was something of a curiosity. To herself, however, there was no reason for her to speak of her life. She did not view it as necessary.

"Very deep." The girl chuckled. "Philosophical concepts aside... I do not find it pertinent... to speak of myself. What you need... to know, you will... be told. Knowing my past is... not necessary, for most company."

Kiera Hunt returned to the bar interior, Callysta Crowe following behind her. The younger agent moved quietly to the counter, a number of places down from Marreth. Far enough to not be within a suspicious proximity, but close enough to act should the situation become dire. She stood there, making as if to examine the array of drinks.

Bang.

The sound of Kiera's gun discharging with uncanny accuracy towards Sam's head wasn't particularly showy, it was just an ordinary gunshot.

Bang. Bang.

Two more, still aiming for the man's head. When someone was already dead, you didn't take chances. Kiera tilted her head to one side, observing the results of her shots with neutrality, be they successful or nay.

Seemingly, Kiera gave up at this point. She shrugged, and walked to the other side of the bar, taking a chair and pulling it up towards the counter. She didn't say a word, and nor did her expression change. She merely dragged the chair there, and stood beside it. The girl took a sip of a glass of milk she had left on the counter, seeming almost bored.

Perhaps thankfully for the other agent, Kiera was there to make that choice for her.

"Let her go." came the younger woman's voice, distant and dreamy. "You can have what you want, just let her go." Kiera didn't seem to appreciate the concept of her 'superiors' very well. They tended to make decisions for you, not the other way around. Too bad she didn't read the manual.

Kiera simply nodded. She seemed oddly unmoved. Kiera never was moved though. Ambivalence was her 'thing'. The young agent turned and made for the stairs, encountering Cally half way down and simply pushing the woman back up.

"We've lost." was all she said, emerging out onto the first floor landing. "Miss Suite?" she called. "I have some... bad... news."

"Marreth has her." the young agent replied simply, filling the void that the other two agents were too devastated to fill. Simon barely had any idea what was going on down there, and Cally didn't grasp just how much things had gone to hell since she went to retrieve the sword, which hung loosely from her hand.

"He... has proven resistant... to all efforts against... him" Kiera's speech was slow, and staggered. That wasn't due to the situation, however. It was merely the way she spoke. "At the moment... the choice is between... you alive, and Sonya alive... or both of you... and a third woman, named... Jackie... dead."

"He has stated that... there is only one... way to kill him." Kiera looked Cally levelly in the eye. "Not guns... blades... none of what... we can provide. I for one... believed him. And you know... I am good at calling... bluffs."

Kiera nodded. "Thank you, Miss Suite." she said calmly, lifting a finger to silence the other two's protests. "There is... nothing we can... do." The girl's words almost sounded sad, but perhaps that was simply the words themselves, rather than her tone.

The young agent made her way for the stairs, taking them slowly, as in in no rush. Simon and Callysta would follow behind Vodka, whispering desperately between one another as they went, trying to devise some plan.

"We will find out, Miss Suite... we can make sure... this officer and... Peter Mays will know... of your situation." Kiera spoke as she walked, not pausing in her steps. "Perhaps... I cannot promise... but perhaps you can... be aided at a later... date."

As they reached the bottom of the stairs, Kiera turned to the woman. "I am afraid... he demanded that I... take your weapons."

Kiera took the guns without a word, and turned to look at Marreth and Sonya. After a moment's gazing, the black-eyed girl walked over.

"Release her... now. I have brought... Miss Suite." the girl said. She was almost tempted to attempt something, then... it occurred to her, seeing Sonya's pain, Vodka's fear. But she did not know if it would work. Perhaps it would only get them all killed.

Risk was not alien to Kiera. But this would require thought. Perhaps more than she had time for.

Kiera took Vodka's hand without expression, and led her forwards gently, going at the woman's own pace. Her pure black eyes were focused on Marreth the whole time, making her light-footed way towards him and Sonya.

Kiera Hunt yawned from her position upon the counter, perched with her feet resting on a stool. The young woman was seemingly absorbed in a small hand-held console, held lightly in her fingers above her knees. Pure black eyes blinked slowly as she tapped away at the buttons, before sliding down to the woman who was sat to her right, staring intently at a glass of vodka. Ironic.

"Are you going... to mope all... day?" she queried, suppressing a second yawn. "Because we do... have a wedding... to plan for, which... would be easier... if you were... sober."

Kiera's eyes slid from Sonya to the apparently irritable cat girl, black orbs examining her for a few moments before the younger woman spoke. "I don't think... that is really... relevant to you... is it?" she asked, her expression neutral. Looking back to Sonya, Kiera's mouth quirked upwards in a half smile.

"Why? I am perfectly... comfortable up here. And the counter space... isn't being used for... anything else, is it?" Kiera shrugged slowly - everything she did seemed slow and ponderous, especially her speech. "And you won't be... sober for long... judging by your mood... and that vodka."

Glancing down briefly at her outfit, Kiera shrugged. As far as she was concerned, this was perfectly acceptable public attire. But apparently the public felt differently. The younger woman returned her attention largely to her game, but not without sparing Terraa a glance.

"You somewhat resemble... one of the 'pocket monsters'... from this game, you know?" she said briefly, yawning. "I'll go... up in a few... minutes. I am... occupied."

Kiera sighed, rolling her pure black eyes with contempt. "Fine." she said, flicking the console off and swinging her legs off of the stool. Sliding down off of the counter, the younger woman directed one baleful look at Sonya before padding her barefooted way to the stairwell leading up to the hotel, where Kiera had her room.

"I really don't... see the importance of... dress shopping." she muttered as she went, disappearing from earshot moments after disappearing from sight.

After approximately an hour, Kiera had finally decided that she had made Sonya wait for long enough. Emerging from the stairwell in a T-shit and jeans, she walked to the woman as if she were the one being held up.

"Well... are we going to... go?"

The tap-tap-tapping of fingers on small buttons gave away Kiera's presence, along with the little 'bleeps' that accompanied them as she made her way down the stairs, seeming preoccupied with the small hand-held device she gripped lightly at chest height, peering down at the screen. This focus did not seem to impede her progress, weaving around chairs and patrons alike as she made her way to the bar counter. Clad in less eccentric attire than normal, Kiera wore a simple t-shirt and jeans as opposed to her usual 'not-bothered-to-get-dressed' nightgown.

The small woman hopped up onto the counter to sit, still only just reaching the height of the large woman nearby from her perch. The bartender glanced to her after serving the aforementioned woman her beer, nodding in recognition.

"What'll it be today, Kiera?" the older man asked, glancing to her odd position but making no comment.

Kiera remained silent for a few moments, tapping away on her console. After a pause for thought, she spoke, her voice staggered and broken up as usual. "I'll have a... glass of orange... juice." she said, nodding. The younger woman's pure black eyes rested on Ayasha, the tall woman a place or so down from her for a moment, before returning to her game.

Unfortunately, that was sort of redundant because the writer's internet died a few minutes ago. But he couldn't be bothered to write a new entrance.

The bartender brought Kiera her drink, placing it beside her on the bar counter. Still absorbed in her game, the small woman simply nodded in thanks and the tender stepped back to return to his duties. He knew enough that Kiera would speak if she chose to, and not if she didn't.

Kiera's eyes snapped upwards at the greeting, pure black orbs focusing on Dannyl in an instant. The young woman dropped the console in her hands to the counter with a clatter, and her hand went instantly to the gun holstered at her hip, which she lifted and raised to point at him.

"What are you... doing here?" she asked, her voice sounding blank as usual, but perhaps tinted with a modicum of emotion. Anger.

Kiera blinked, once, slowly; an exaggerated gesture accompanied by a deep breath, or perhaps it was a gasp? Kiera remained silent and still as Dannyl approached, till he was but a few steps away from her. She could practically hear him breathing, the rising and falling of his chest...

Without warning, the SOD agent darted forwards, free hand extended to press against the man's head in an attempt to overload him with a psychic assault. "You are... a monster." she hissed, her voice coming the closest to being raised that it had been for at least a year.

Scowling angrily, Kiera struggled against the arm lock. Of course he would think to wear a glove -- this was Jeanson we were talking about. "Release me... now..." The agent's voice remained level despite her position, her head jerking away from the hand that brushed against her cheek.

Pure black eyes lifted to Ayasha, silently assessing her. The girl was woefully ignorant of other organisations, and seldom paid attention to the news, and so had no idea who this woman, or who the 'MEA' were.

"I repeat myself... Dannyl, release... me."
