With a sigh and a smile, a woman stood outside of the doors, her fingers touching with her palms apart. She stood with her back straight and her head up. So this was it. Gambit's. She had heard so many rumors...so many tales! Now, wasn't she curious?

Stepping in, Kissaki opened the door to the bar, her worn sneakers thumping and squeaking on the ground. She wore colorful stockings with a pair of jean shorts over it and a red shirt. Her hair was up in a high bun, strands falling out to the side of her face, decorated with beads.

Looking around, the woman looked absolutely pleased.

The woman lifted her head at a familiar scent. Her eyes scanned the bar, landing on one person. Taking in a breath of air, she slowly made her way towards him, sneakers thumping on the ground.

"I was beginning to think that myself and my twin were the only ones here!" she said, sitting beside him. Her chair shrieked as she pulled it in towards the counter. "When had you come here? I've just gotten here recently, myself!"

Hopefully we might rise again. Colonization has not proved to be so bad. I'm not sure about this planet, however. I was losing hope until I saw you!"

The woman's eyes flicked up to the pirate woman, blinking curiously before she turned her attention back to Shepherd. She nodded in understanding. "Yes, understandably. Oh, you will have to keep me updated, as I find myself..." She grimaced slightly, eyes rocking back and forth in her head as she failed to make an excuse, "...a but behind in the news lately. Coming here was a shaky experience."

Her head dropped. "Ah, I see...well, information is bound to come from somewhere! Perhaps we will meet the Duchess again, seeing as she is here, and be able to ask her a few questions. Oh, that does sound like a plan!" she said, nodding again. The beads on her hair clicked as they bobbled.

"I have hope that things will not be bad for long. Even if they are, we have a long time to live, so that is quite fine, too!"

The woman chuckled. "That's a good term for them. I haven't gotten used to human profanity myself, but that certainly works." She crossed her legs, colorful stockings and all, and frowned as Shepherd continued to speak.

"Well...yes. I agree that seeing our land and our people being do...degraded...has left me more than a bit torn. It really does make me more urgent to quicken colonization. However, such efforts take years! And there are plenty of implications!"

Implications, indeed. More than one could probably catch up on.

Kissaki blinked as she watched Shepherd fly over the counter. Her lips pursed. Oh, there was a loud sound just now, right? Yes, there was!

"Isn't this place so lively?" she said to Shepherd. "While you're over there, mind getting me a drink? I believe a popular one here for women is called a margarita!"

"That was some mighty fine reflexes. You're rather comfortable in a Terran body." she said, raising a hand to pat him on the shoulder. "Come and sit down. Not much is going to happen to us. I don't know why I know that...but it's a feeling. And if something does...well, we'll just have to figure out how to deal with it, right?"

Kissaki blinked.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Were you...watching the fight as well? I was honestly distracted..." she said, scratching the back of her neck. Oh, dear, how could she do something like that?

"Us colonists are supposed to come here, mimic the living of the current species upon the planet, then find a mated and have as many children as we can that still blends in with the number the species usually has. It is quite a difficult thing to do, sometimes. Myself, I haven't gone that far, but perhaps here, on Terra, it may happen!"

Walking down the market, Kissaki had her hands behind her back, pace slow and relaxed. She had a wide smile on her face, and the beads in her hair clacked as she turned her head to look at the booths. She wore a bright yellow shirt and a flouncy blue skirt that reached her ankles.

Suddenly, she stopped. Something else had caught her attention. Her eyes landed on the redhead looking at scarves. At a pace just as relaxed as before, she began to walk towards her.
