Kitiana hated the rain. She hated the way it ran over her skin, and caused goosebumps to erupt all over her body. She hated how she could not see five feet in front of her face. She hated how vulnerable she felt.

But of course, unlike her sisters, there wasn't a lot that Kitiana would laugh at, would enjoy. She had been alone and afraid far too long to be like them. The steady neigh of her horse, something quite different from the motorvehicles could be heard outside, and she slid off the back of her chocolate brown StarShine and walked her to the stables that were nearby, conveniently.

Drenched, and grumbling, though happy that the rain had washed the blood off of her skin, Kitiana walked in the door, and sat down at the bar without so much as a glance around her.

The hot chili that was slid in front of Kitiana made her mouth water, and made her smile a little bit. God only knew when the last time she had eaten was. She still kept her weapons strapped to her as she sat there and ate. The bow on her back was long, and sleek. The quiver of arrows was always full. The daggers strapped across her belt were many, and she was skilled in the use of every single one. She was very obviously not from this dimension, as she looked at pistols with confusion, and thought cars were terrifying.

For once, there was peace around Kitiana. She had spent the last week fighting her way through Nueva, before she had come across this city. She was not sure how she had gotten here, or how to get back to her own world, but for now, the lack of arrows flying past her head, the lack of horses galloping after her, the lack of terror, was suiting her quite well.

Kitiana's head turned with incredible speed as a voice reached her ears. Her suspicions that the woman had been speaking to her were confirmed as she met her eyes. "Does it meet expectations?" Kitiana did not reply, until she had swallowed her bite of chili, and taken a small sip of beer. She turned around, and stared across the room at the woman, elbows on the counter, before shrugging. "I've made better." she said with a smirk.

Just as she began to turn back around, the same sadness that she saw strike the woman whom she had been speaking to, struck her. She leaned against the counter as if she had been struck by a mallet, and stared at the ceiling for a few moments, all traces of appetite gone. Her sisters would know what to do in this situation. But they were dead. Her mother maybe? Dead. Kitiana ran one hand over her eyes, wiping away any trace of tears that may be erupting from her eyes.

But something was wrong. Kitiana never got sad. She only got angry. It was something she treasured most about herself. She fought her way out of the spiraling downswirl of anguish, and began to scan the room, trying to figure out where the source of all of this was coming from

Kitiana, one of her eyebrows cocked up far above the other, stared at the girl as she walked up to her. Kitiana took another swig of her beer, and stared for a moment.

"Sadness is useless." she replied. Inside her head was fighting a raging battle to keep the sorrow from pushing to the front of her being.

Kitiana laughed, and took a few moments to observe the girl in front of her. She was most likely older than she seemed, which made Kitiana curious. She reached up and ran one hand through her hair, fingers brushing along the edges of her arrows as she did so. "Anger is a motivation." she shot back, and took another swig of her beer.

"What are you doing in here anyways?" she asked, her accent thick, "Isn't there an age limit for bars here?"
