Phsyical
The creatures possesses on two legs, each massive foot with four toes, two forth and two back. The creature balances using its massive tail, which in itself holds a massive spike or spikes which can extend at will. The tail is capable of both extending over the creatures head and under its body. Its body curves upwards at this point like a serpent would, though it is definitely an insect or arachnid in base nature. Sprouting from the 'torso' is three sets of limbs, the first being lower blade appendeges, razor edged and sharp tipped. They are capable of scraping away at rock and piercing metal. They are certainly stronger than chitin. Each blade is extended from a single limb that appears to be in a socket, with freedom to move greater than that of a shoulder. The claws are next, roughly at mid-chest height. Each claw appears to be double jointed at the two joints they possess, capable of flexing both forwards and backwards. Likewise, they are set into sockets at the point they join to the body. Finally a second set of blades emerge from the shoulder much larger and designed presumably as hunting claws.
The head of the beast extends from its neck on a strong joint, most likely connected to a spine or exoskeleton (it is hard to tell which beneath the creatures immensely tough flesh). The eyes are deep set into the skull of the creature, the whites of the eyes instead a dull yellow. Pupils rest in the center of each eye, likewise yellow, with black iris. The creature appears to have no ears, just two small holes on either side of its head. Their lower jaw juts out from their mouth and has a powerful crushing force.
Overall the creature is at least one story in height, perhaps larger, and possesses the capability of sentience, speech and several other important attributes.
Travel Form
The beast stands upright on two legs, head tilted forward like a human, body slopped upwards giving it a sort of snakelike front, though it lacks scales and is much tougher. The claws and appendages can be used here to grab and cut. The tail of the creature acts as a balancer. When in flight the limbs are used to maintain aerial balance, along with the tail. It is assumed that the legs can absorb the creatures impact despite its large size.
Hunter Form
The beast lies flat, limbs all acting together (sans claws) as a multi-legged creature. The bladed limbs help pick carefully over the floor and the tail freely swings overhead. The claws are long enough to reach past the upper blade limbs and head to act as grabbers. When hunting the beast can easily lift its weight to slam down its upper blade limbs to stop escaping prey. The limbs can additionally be used together to climb verticle surfaces.
Abilities/Powers
Everything listed here is listed with a level of uncertainty on their properties. There is no way to tell whether they are magical, otherwordly or physical without a full autopsy.Vocal PowersThe creature is capable of unleashing an earsplitting scream, loud enough to be comparable to a flash bang grenade, directed at a person. This is presumably a feature of the beast, ie; the ability to incapacitate foes temporarily by disrupting them with sound. The sound, however, has been proven as incapable of destroying objects despite how powerful it is.
Psychic Powers
The creature is capable of psychic powers, possibly the reasoning behind its ability to survive extreme conditions without being affected, as well as allowing it to unleash horrendous attacks on the unprepared.
Acid/Metabolism
Running on a great assumption of the creatures dietary habits (anything) and its lack of waste produced, the theory stands that its stomach is some form of an acid pit with a terribly low ph. The creature can then cough up this acid, launching it with powerful contractions to send it flying large distances. Additionally, a stick goop has also been used with viscosity comparable to tar.
Heat Related Powers
The creature, basically, seems immune to all effects of heat. Fire, lava and high temperatures have all been welcomed by the beast who has then siphoned them, often through their tail, mouth or merely their body, then wielded at will.
Flight?
The creature is capable of interplanetary travel. How is entirely uncertain.
It is believed this is a psychic power.
Durability
The creature has shown immense resistance to cuts, impacts and impalements. Their skin is very durable and even capable of absorbing impact to some extent.
-Side note, it can be cut and it does bleed. Bullets also work, to some extent. It apparently notices superficial wounds more.
Ability To Withstand Space
As previously mentioned the beast can travel between planets, and thus it can withstand being in a vaccuum and the immense cold of space. The assumption is that it does not require gasses to breath nor is it affected by immense pressures, or it is literally air tight on whatever fluids it might have. Likewise, it appears to be as resistant to cold as it is fire. This may be a psychic ability.
Ability to Survive Large Periods Without Energy or Air
While encased in a tomb of obsidian with no light, oxygen or living things able to enter or exit. Notably, the stone was consistantly cool at all times, implying that maybe the creature is absorbing the heat. Alternatively, it could have entered a hibernation. Finally, it does not require air.
Addendum: Creature lives off of heat. Absorbs it through nearby objects.
Chameleon Abilities
The creature can change colour to match its surroundings to some degree.
