Being Russian is one reason to be hardcore, being a werewolf is another. Leo and his brother Ivan were infected by the 'Alpha' strain of said blessing. It is different in many ways, that being the human form has retractable fingernails, canine teeth and animal eyes, evidently revealing his or her paranormal nature. The lycan form is agile, muscled and has claws the size of rebar pipes and can be set on by either the full moon, emotion or pain. Silver nullifies their fast regeneration and makes them very, very pissed off.

They've been hunted down by hunters, hunted down criminals and spent time in the Gulag. Right now they just want to drink, but the world won't let them be.

So begins...

Leo Smirnov threw the key over his shoulder in one smooth motion, stepping back and cracking his knuckles together. The occupants were the trackers who'd followed him and his foster-brother from the Gulag. "That would be awesome, the name's Leo. I think you can already guess what I am." This was almost too easy. The werewolf folded his arms and grinned.

Leo leaned against the wall behind them, kicking his left foot up to the frame and started to tie his shoes properly, they were kind of loose and it was a habit he had picked up in the Gulag. "Why the hood? If you know how to lock-pick and know how to defend yourself properly, why bother with hiding your identity, it's not exactly the type of hood you wear during the cold."

Leo Smirnov The werewolf let go off his quarrel, letting him fall the entire four floors. Leo latched onto the side and hoisted himself up, turning his now canine face in the direction of Sana chasing after him, would she make the jump? Doubtful, letting a Cheshire grin form on his black lips, a pile of drool dripping onto the gravel unintentionally.

The werewolf opened it's arms and howled to the moon, almost a challenge.

The subway, crowded with souls and the thumping heart had attracted the more savage side of Leo, it was twelve AM at night, a full moon shone in the sky above the subway and one of the trains had an passenger without a ticket on the roof, a furred and giant one. Obscured it was, the humanoid or inhuman passengers below didn't even know until a loud thump sounded as the werewolf jumped from carriage, claws penetrating the metal, making a child in one of the carriages scream loudly.

The werewolf looked behind it, unsure of it was being followed or not... It smelled something of course, but it was disguised by the people below. Nevermind that, the werewolf pointed it's muzzle down, slamming it's front paws upon the top of the tram, digging away at the metal, screeching loudly and teeth trying to rip it open to get at the people inside.

The werewolf slammed a paw against the metal hole, slowly turning it's head in her direction, drooling muzzle and ugly, inhuman eyes. The closest to a reply she'd get would be a long drown out growl though bared teeth as it checked behind it for a low roof, which there were none for a while, it took the time to make itself look as threatening as possible, stretching upwards and awkwardly turning towards her, extending it's long claws with an audible wolverine style 'shink' from it's fingers.

That's when it charged, swinging for her legs with both of it's clawed hands, howling and snarling as it did so.

The werewolf felt the silver stab into his shoulder with a loud snarl, it hated silver more than anything. It'd try to slap her with the palm of one of it's hands and grab her with it's other hand in an attempt to throw her behind him and onto another car, past the hole in one full of screaming and panicking citizens, if it succeeded, it'd tilt it's hand in a manner that said "Is that your best?"

If not, it'd try and knee her with it's left leg.

The train was still going at full speed, what was the pilot thinking? Probably about getting to a security checkpoint in time, or maybe just going fast. Leo didn't really care, he was going to feed the rage tonight. The werewolf lowered itself and ran it's claws against the metal, almost daring her to come forward. A chainsaw? Maybe she'd like to see his.

He bared his teeth again, all jagged and sharp like a sharks, all dripping with spit. Leo wasted no time charging forward, forelegs and paws scraping against the steel as it charged forward, suddenly veering to the right and using it's claws to run on the side of the tram just as they passed a station, more screaming as the would-be passengers saw the battle raging on the train, then it'd launch itself upward and hopefully atop her with a powerful left-hand swipe.

Leo pressed down on the chainsaw with his claws, bits of his claws flying everywhere but holding strong, the werewolf snarled and pressed even harder against the chainsaw, hoping to get close enough to take a bite out of her face. It was pressing with the strength just off a bulldozers. It sniffed a child underneath them, it grinned. A distraction.

Maybe if it could just feint. If it got closer to Monique's face, it'd flicker it's eyes down and into the hole, then quickly back at her with a malicious grin.

She was a good hunter, better than most, it was a sickly-sweet fight, those eyes reminded of something.

His more human side, if you could call it that.

The sphere hit him, the werewolf tried to swing a fist to bat it away too late, feeling like fish out of water, werewolves were apposed to be quick and agile, this wasn't normal and it certainly felt new and wrong. The werewolf then noticed an impeding lower roof, trying to duck only for it to collide with it's head, causing a high pitched, almost ear-bleeding whimper to come out of the creatures muzzle, holding it's head and nearly bowling over, eyes raised back up to Monique and then to the hole it'd previously made.

It started to run for it.

"Some planet." Ivan's foster-brother replied. "Better than the Gulag." Leo replied, stepping in after Ivan with a bronze wallet chain hanging from camouflage cargo pants, which were illustriously ripped at the bottom, showing off black work boots, above that was the equally youthful and more savage, black haired and handsome. Though you could swear there was more than hair growing in the corners of his ears.

"Need more alcohol and sukas. Hahaha." Leo laughed, offering a fistbump to his brother. "Look at these hardy chairs, perfect for smash on fools back." His english wasn't as good as his com padres.

"Who not stock in Vodka? Pussies. Haha." The werewolf saddled a stool, kicking his feet up with a grunt onto the counter and nodded at the idea. "Shots seems good. You better share, brother." Leo replied, scratching the side of his ear and then looking at Lake One, raising an eyebrow and then at Dremond, pointing her out to Ivan with a finger. "She smells, stinks of... Not human. Like us. Not bad. Maybe another one?" Leo said, sniffing again and then looking at Lily Talse.

"You better be saying that to yourself, punk."

The werewolf grinned, a wolfish one as he turned to Dremond. Leo paused to dismissively wave a middle finger at Lily. "A creature in a human's skin... Rumple... No... Brother I think this is a shapeshifter... no... no they smell... dirtier. You smell different. You must be..." Leo sniffed again, inhaling the air and the smells in the room, moving a quick hand to snag a shot from his brother and down it with a cough.

"You tell me, woman." Leo said, long canines protruding over his lips. "I'll give you a hint for us."

"Woof. Woof."

The wolf quickly descended the stairs, wearing his brown coat with a bunch of Russian letters stitched into it, a cold coffee in his left hand and a newspaper in his right, he mumbled and half-read to himself in Russian as he saddled a stool by the bar. Giving the bar a sideways glance and stretched, the sounds of his clicking muscles filling the bar, and boy was it loud. Like the man had thousands of bones.

The russian looked to his left and noticed Nadja, he flashed her a toothy grin, his yellow eyes looking her up and down. She was pretty, for a bookish looking girl. He shuffled closer and sniffed the air, bringing his coffee to his lips. "What brings a girl to a bar, at this time? Isn't that for drunkards and kids?" He asked, in his thick Russian accent, staring down at his mug.

Leo laughed, he pointed at Emiko and her friend; Damocless and Mercury. "I don't even think they're past puberty, and until then, I don't think they classify a gender." He replied, holding his hands up in surrender. "Not even going there, miss, I was just wondering what a woman of your maturity is doing here, and no, I'm not saying you look old, far from it, forgive me, English isn't my strong suit. I mean suite." Leo shrugged, making sure not to look her in the eye, the eyes would probably freak her out.

Leo grinned, his teeth protruding from his lips. "I like raw steak soaked in vodka, is my favorite meal, for both breakfast and dinner." He replied, licking his lips at the thought of it, dumping the rest of his cold coffee down his throat with an "Aghh." He turned to face her, slipping on a pair of aviator shades onto his eyes, to be even more mysterious.

"And the last time I smiled at someone, they were caught stealing. Why, what happened the last time you smiled at someone, stranger?"

Heh. The girl knew how to play. There was no innocence here, as much as he would've liked to believe it. He wanted to give her another grin, but decided against it, his canines were a lot longer than he liked to think. "Well, ain't that interesting. I'll just have to add to the mysteriousness and say; looks like it's time for me to go. I'll give you my name, Leo, like the lion."

Then with that, he disappeared into the staff room.

Leo rapidly stepped down the stairs, a thick leather brown jacket adorning his shoulders and a pair of silver aviators covering his unnatural eyes. He just settled all his law problems, killed a few people and felt damn good about it. To add to this self-imposed badassery, there was a thick eight inch long wallet bronze wallet chain saddling his left trouser-leg. Fuck the silver shit, that stuff stung. This completed the Russian Biker type just as well.

The russian walked over to the counter, looking over his shades to admire the doctor's good looks, not that he knew she was a doctor mind you, but if he did know, he'd probably think; I could use some medicine. Wink wink.

The crowd gave him a wide berth as he sat down next to Toni Roberts, a jagged smile on his mouth as he overheard her order, flagging down the bartender and leaning onto the counter. "I'll have what she's having." He said, turning to face her.

"Hi."

"All of them at once, Toni." The biker replied to the doctor, smiling right back at her with his too-long, too-sharp teeth. Far too many to be a vampire, that was for damn sure. "Leo." He replied in his thick and heavily layered husky russian voice. "Maybe I think your taste is terrible, and I'm ordering the same so I make you look bad, then I put the order in for Vodka, get us both drunk and we end up wondering what we did last night." He replied, sniggering.

He mockingly held his heart. "Oh my goodness, I just revealed my plan for tonight." He said, in a mock english accent. As his drink was received, he lowered his nose to it and sniffed deeply, what a peculiar thing to do...

"All the greatest stories start with that, but not the most child friendly ones." Leo replied with a grin. Lycanthrope, the doctor was good, very good just to deduct that from two simple facts; he could've been anything from titan descendant to a body freak. This lycanthrope was a little different however, seeing as he wasn't the rip and tear type.

He lifted his glass. "To good stories and pretty strangers." He tipped the glass down his gullet, slamming the glass down with a loud crash. Now that she knew something about him, time to learn something about her, not that he knew she knew something about him, boy, so much knowing.

He sniffed loudly, and sniffed again. Half the smells on her, weren't hers. And they weren't animals, other people mostly, it left a lot of variables, way too many to narrow it down. "Whiskey's good anyway."

Leo slid his empty glass towards her with a mutter of thanks. "Thanks, I like the way you look too." He replied, grinning before shrugging. That smell of disinfectant was much more powerful to him now, and that latex was annoying his nostrils. He wanted to tear off his nose and eat it, he wrestled at his inner senses before giving a cough in her direction. "Don't mean too, just a thing, Russian ritual." He said with a nod, a confident nod. For something that was complete bullshit.

"All the excuses, Toni, best reasons to drink!" He admitted, cheering her on.
