The night in DC was cold and nearly freezing, as if it was the dead of winter. The Transition to the Aschen Government seemed to be going smoothly as one of the Superbulk Megatransports was docked at Washington Dulles, looming over the sky. It seemed to dominate the DC Skyline, occasional Aschen and UCON troops would be seen marching through the streets of the city, with their armored vehicles.

The house of a certain Rabiya would be unusually quiet, the air seemingly stifling. Something was wrong, off, but no one could put a finger on it.

A strange whisper would echo in the bedroom, followed by flickering lights as the stifling presence seemed to grow stronger. "Ab diis multis, cognoscam stultitia...." The voice whispered "Noli quærere inter scelus finitimis, ne in possessionem invenerit domum tuam." The voice whispered as a seemingly icy breeze blew through the room, the lights flickering once more.

The voice grew increasingly demonic, the whispers more violent.

"Metus... dolor... mors... ac formidonis."

The stifling presence grew stronger, and the lights visibly dimmed. "I....? I....? I am a monument to all your sins...." The voice said, and at first glance, she would see a shadow standing in a blood red light, at second glance nothing. Some specter had inhibited her home, or was it a specter?

There was stillness in the air, if Rabiya tried to pick up the phone she would hear nothingness, her cell phone would also be dead, neither communication doors functioning. An attempt to go to the door would find it jammed, windows also jammed, none opening as the light was bathed in a blood red hue.

"Do you think they will save you from what you have done? There are secrets within lies, answers within riddles. Open your mind and hear what your heart wants to deny. End of line."

The voice continued. "Am I here, or am I not? Do not bother using your weapons, they too will not save you." The voice said as a massive symbol seemed to pan out on the floor below, the carpet seemingly set ablaze by a shimmering orange pentagram. Then flame erupted from the symbol and engulfed a robed man that slowly materialized into view, his robes dark, to match the background.

"You are Robabeh Kutchemeshgi, the current leader of the Ḥizb-ul-Ṭālib-ul-Inti-Fāḍat." He said, each pronunciation on key, accurate and calm.

"I come to deliver a warning."

Leonidas Priscus Stepped forward a simple step. "I have seen things. Your life, Robabeh Kutchemeshgi, the things you have done. The things you felt you had to do, all leading to this moment. You wish to be forgiven, my child. Do you wish to be forgiven?" He said narrowing his eyes.

"I am Inquisition, my purpose is not to apprehend you, nor share our knowledge with government officials, Your followers have brought harm to our children, and so, if you continue to harm our children, your followers, and you, will be exterminated like vermin, hunted to the ends of this universe. by an unseen enemy, an enemy that can take your very souls. And destroy them."

scowled and a few flames seemed to whip at his robes, the heat of the flames not hardly affecting the man. ""There is much talk, and I have listened, through rock and metal and time. Now I shall talk, and you shall listen." He said, taking another step forward.

Your Father has promised you freedom from a doomed existence, but you will find no salvation in these teachings. Those who forged these tenets knew what they wrought. Do not mistake his intent, or all will perish as they did before."

Again he took a breath.

"You may take my warning or you will disregard it... but the Inquisition will wage war, every man woman and child that professes your father's faith, will welcome death, to find their existence in hell."

The two would be promptly approached by a small arab boy, looking no older then twelve or thirteen. "Asalaamu alaykum." The boy said, then continued in Arabic.

"I'll be your guide, do not question me, know only this. I do not serve Allah, I serve the order, and I will make sure you carry out your mission." He said cryptically, Tahira and Fatin of course, familiar with Inquisition magic could make the connection.

The boy eyed Tahira for a moment, and then Fatin. "A Safe house." He said, pausing for a moment. "I have a safe house, come eat with my family." He said, leading the two through the crowded streets of Cairo, to a small peasant house in a dense neighborhood.

Inside the house was your typical arabic decor, but rather then the Koran, the Book of the Word sat on the table.

Once inside, and the door shut, the boy turned to the two. "Ohm... bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ." He said inclining his head.

"Help us Lords of Kobol, Let us walk the path of righteousness. And lift our faces unto your, goodness.. We offer this prayer." He said, expecting them to join him in prayer.

The boy inclined his head. "So Say we all." He said, then he leaned down and kissed the book, passing it to the two.

"I will be guarding you on your journey to bring down the enemies of the Lords, Zeus Almighty, perfect in his form, and in his will, has called upon us to cast down the enemies of the Gods into the depths of the avernakis." He said, nodding. "So say we all."

The boy nodded. "Then let us partake in a meal, and proceed to carry out the cause of our Lords." He said, turning and reaching the refrigerator, and opening it up to take out some gyros and tzatziki. "Enjoy, then we must make contact." He said, nodding.

Leonidas Priscus "Leonidas." The boy said, then shook his head. "But you can call me Abdullah Mukhtar. Or Abdul for short." He said, nodding. "I serve the Lords and the Inquisition, but during the course of this mission I serve only the one true god, and his servants, and I bow piously in the presence of Tahira Almontaser and Fatin Farrah."

Leonidas Priscus faded in from the blackness of the skyline, stepping forward and staring at Drulovic. "On what authority do you have to instruct the order on what they can and cannot do." The robed figure said calmly, the jingling of chains echoing as he stepped into the light, blood red robes and hood framing the figure's face.

"Hataf has demonstrated it's intent to harm the children and the plans laid out by powers beyond your comprehension, feeble human, you have spurned our counsel, and will know your place."

Leonidas Priscus jingled the hook and then let it hang in the light, dripping with fresh blood onto the pavement. "Foolish mortal, I find it amusing that you would address such niceties, however, you have no place to tell my brothers what to do, as our orders come from the Oracle of the gods themselves. We will destroy this group, and it will fall as countless have before them, heed my warning, if you interfere, we have no quarry with ending all those whom oppose our divine will." He said, as the head of a random TIB agent rolled towards Drulovic's feet. "Do not let me catch your agents in our temples again." He said, referencing a large temple complex in the mountains of greece.

"They too will meet a similar fate."

Leonidas Priscus grumbled. "Next Hataf meeting I will remove the head of every member of their council, and I will personally bring them to you and your government, for every agent that interferes with my intercession, I will deliver their heads to you mounted upon a pike." He warned, the blood slickened hook retracting into his robes. "The matter is not if your world knowingly harbors them, the matter is Hataf is a danger to the chosen children of the gods."

Leonidas Priscus nodded sagely. "Of that it is certain." He said calmly before he produced a sphere that seemed to glow and shimmer, handing it to Drulovic. Like a crystal ball, it shimmered and morphed, like smoke clearing away from an image. Attayib was seen enduring torture in what looked like hell.

"An Idea that can be quashed with the right motivation." He said, producing another of Fatin.

Leonidas Priscus began to pace around Drulovic. "Ahh... I have done my research on them, it will be intriguing to see them hung by their entrails from the Hataf public relations building in Cairo." He said, resting his hands at his sides. "When Inquisition presence on Terra was at it's highest, we were feared by Hataf, their operatives hid from us, some even contemplated reform and defection for fear that we would take them..."

"To hataf.. we were the specter in the night, hiding in wait for their children."

Leonidas Priscus shook his head. "No matter, they will all meet a gruesome fate, the Inquisition will be coming to your world, there is no doubt about that." He said, before he was engulfed in a column of fire, leaving what resembled an orange glowing pentagram embedded into the ground.
