Lilith Fleur It was a good thing that the vampire had left, too, because shortly after the dark woman had left, one of light had taken her place. The Fae walked in the door, and immediately, even in the night, the room felt warmer. The fae, her brown eyes glinting as she glanced as the room, would watch with playful curiosity as the warmth affected each person in the bar. With her came the sounds of leaves falling to the ground, and the soft tickle of butterflies on your skin. But of course, when people were around her, they usually thought that they were going crazy. But that was just the effect a Fae had.

The woman was barefoot, and wore a long, dark gold dress that dragged on the floor around her feet. It cut off, leaving her shoulders exposed, resting around her bust. Around her head, holding her strawberry blonde hair in place, was a braid that went around her forehead, and a single butterfly, her little friend, rested on her head.

Thank God the vampire had left. Fae blood was potent to them, like candy to a child. They'd go drooling and running the first chance they got. And so would a lot of people, if they knew how rare and expensive Fae blood was, and not to mention their wings! Lilith was not old enough yet to have her wings, but her hair was still valuable, as well as her blood. She still had to be careful. Lilith hummed slightly as her presence changed the temperature and atmosphere in the bar just slightly and she made her way to the bar.

Lilith Fleur Lilith's almond shaped eyes turned both toward the commotion going on with the woman on the floor, and the smell of vomit that was floating through the air, and stinging her incredibly sensitive nose. With a wrinkle of her nose, Lilith stood and moved to hover over the man who was curled up on the booth. She wondered if she could do anything, if she should say anything. Just her presence sent the smell of the woods, and the peaceful sound of flapping wings of bluebirds in the springtime. She stood there, head cocked to the side, wondering at the man, waiting for some cue that would allow her to say something, if she could think of anything to say.

People were so odd sometimes.

Lilith Fleur Lilith turned around quickly, and watched the nightmare long enough to cock her head to the side and walk a bit closer. The Fae glanced at the situation, brow furrowed. If there was anything she hated, it was people getting angry at each other for no reason. Didn't they know there were real reasons to get angry in this world? The air around the Fae began to vibrate a little bit as her irritation boiled to the surface.

Lilith Fleur It was abnormally quiet in the bar today, but what would she know? The Fae had only been there once. Lilith pushed the door open and immediately the room got a bit warmer. All around her floating the smells of dried wood and the sound of birds' wings in the night sky. Lilith was a Fae, and the effect that people had around her was very similar to that of being on drugs, which was why she and others like her were hunted so often.

Lilith's dress was long and golden, and dragged along the floor ever so lightly behind her. It shimmered orange, brown, gold again as she walked and the light hit it at different angles. A braid went around her head, and a singular butterfly was resting in her hair, wings opening and closing softly and quietly. Her bare feet brushed the ground as she walked toward the bar, and made to order something.

Lilith Fleur The little butterfly flew from one side of her head to the other, earning a giggle from the Fae as it tickled the top of her head. Curiously, Lilith crossed one foot in front of the other before noticing someone else in the bar. She cocked her head to the side as she heard him speak. She leaned her head over toward him, and looked for who he had been speaking to. She didn't see anyone there.

"Who's Mickey?" Lilith asked, a glass of ice water in her hand. One thing people had to remember about Fae. They weren't from a very diverse world, so their perception of what was and was not appropriate to ask and say was not the same as everyone else's. Since Lilith had been trapped outside of Faerie, she had begun to learn this, but sometimes her tongue still slipped.

Lilith Fleur Lilith giggled under her breath. "Royaly screwed you over," she said and flashed a straight tooth, white smile, "that's funny because he was a king."

Lilith made to open her mouth to reply to him, but before she could say anything he had already typed the order in. She looked at the food as it was pushed to her, and she smiled. "Thank you," she said with a smile and held out her hand. "I'm Lilith," she said and flicked some hair out of her eyes, for a brief moment displaying the pointed ears that rested on her head. She hid them again quickly, though, with her hair.

Lilith Fleur Lilith smiled again. She could remember when she had first been trapped here. How confused she had been about the customs. "I think so," the Fae smiled, and put her hands in her lap before drinking some of her drink quietly. "That's now how I'm accustomed to doing it though," she said and shrugged her small, bare shoulders up and down.

Lilith Fleur "Good job," Lilith said and smiled wide. She took another sip of her drink and wiped the water off of her palm on her arm absently. "I am a Fae," she said and nodded her head. "But please don't tell anyone." Lilith leaned closer to the man she was sitting with, and nodded her head, "People have been hunting me, and I wouldn't want them to find me now that I've made a new friend."

"Oh and yes," she said. "I'm sorry about that." the Fae hastily added when she saw the man's face. "I can't control it yet. I'm of autumn, though, and aren't autumn sounds and smells just so lovely?" her face lit up again in a smile.

Lilith Fleur Lilith tilted her head to the side, and blinked a few times, "What's a heartless?" she asked, eyes widening.

Lilith blushed a little bit when he mentioned her own lack of reflection. "We're actually not all that different from vampires," she said matter of factly. The Fae ran her hand over her skirt, and watched as it glittered different colors in the light. "We feed off of positive energy, or good memories, where vampires feed of blood." The Fae nodded again. She herself had no weapons visible on her, although she did carry a few, and the butterfly flying around her head, occasionally landing in her strawberry blonde hair, had a few tricks up his sleeve. She wasn't worried. "That's why when we're around humans they get happier." she said, "makes it easier for us to feed off of their happiness."

Lilith Fleur "I wasn't looking to eat you," she said, with an impish smile. She watched him carefully as he closed his eyes, and fidgeted with her hands as she waited for him to speak.

"I upset you," she pointed out, biting her bottom lip. "I didn't mean to make you upset." Lilith held out one of her hands. Of course, she had heard of these beings before, but the Fae had another term for them. Slowly, she held her hand up so that her palm was facing him. "Could I try something?" she asked, as her focus went from her hand to his face. She waited patiently.

Lilith Fleur Lilith changed the positions of their hands as if they were giving high fives to each other, and she closed her eyes. Slowly, she felt the crystal in the base of her chest begin to vibrate, and she shot a burst of surprise, the emotion that came to her first. She felt the energy run through her hands, and into his. What this would normally do was make the person she was touching feel the way she had manipulated them to feel with her energy. She had never tried it on a heartless before, but she heard that it worked sometimes. She opened her eyes, and looked at him for a while, waiting to see if he had any kind of response. She lifted her eyebrows.

Lilith Fleur Lilith blushed a little bit at the intensity that he was staring at her with. "When Fae used to live in this world," she began, "Our services were bought often. We can..." she wasn't even sure how to explain it, "We have the capability to manipulate emotion, and some of us can manipulate actual objects around us." She lifted her finger up and the golden butterfly climbed onto her finger. She held it up, "That's how Lucas stays with me," she said, "I instilled trust in him when I first found him, and since then he's learned to actually trust me without my influence. Where we can all manipulate and transfer emotion, I've found that I'm especially good at it. It's my talent." she said and smiled.

"Of course, it doesn't always work on heartless, and it almost never works on vampires." she shook her head, "They were cut out of our ability a long time ago. So, long story short," Lilith suddenly realized she was rambling, "I made you feel surprised. Sometimes a memory comes with it. Sometimes it's just the feeling."

Lilith Fleur The tears going down his cheeks made her almond shaped, amber eyes widen. She bit her bottom lip and watched on, brow furrowed. Maybe she had made the wrong decision. It wasn't until he thanked her that she realized that he was not angry with her.

"We can try to do it again, if you want," she said, and looked at him. She had not yet told him the real kicker. She still did not tell him how he could feel for days at a time. She felt for this man, but she didn't want her secret getting out. She'd be even more hunted than she was now.

Lilith Fleur Lilith bit her bottom lip even harder, and had to hold back her secret, again. She nodded and watched as the butterfly walked around on her hand before making his way up her arm and to her shoulder. He tickled.

"If you say so," she said, and nodded her head. "If you change your mind, let me know." she said and reached out to nibble on some of the food he had bought her. "Tojio," she repeated back, mouth full of lettuce. "I like that name. How did you lose your heart?" maybe she could help him.

Lilith Fleur She crossed one leg over the other, still playing with the fabric, and listened. Her head was cocked to the side, pointed ear peeking out from between strands of hair.

By the end of his story, Lilith's eyes weren't wide with surprise, or sympathetic, but understanding. She reached out and brushed her fingertips against his arm in the best sympathetic gesture she possibly could. "What did the king have to do with it?" she asked curiously.

Lilith Fleur "I'm sorry for bringing it up..." she said quietly, and the butterfly walked up the side of her neck into her hair. It felt her sadness, and nuzzled close to her. She smiled a bit and ran her finger over his wings. "But... does he have your heart?" she asked, bringing her knees to her chest. Her dress shimmered as she moved, "Is he hiding it somewhere?"

Lilith Fleur Lilith, the Fae, was again alone in the bar, once the boy with no heart left. She pulled herself up and sat down on the bartop, running her hand over her dress, and watching as the light caught it from all kinds of angles. She was beginning to get hungry, and a tiny groan slipped from between her lips. Not hungry for food, but it sure felt like it, the knot in her stomach was growing bigger and bigger. She leaned back a little bit and sat forward in one singular rocking motion.

The Fae adjusted the braid around her head, and again hid her pointed ears. Her little pet butterfly was sitting in her hair, and she glanced around the bar. She saw one person. Person was it? in the bar, and she wondered briefly if they had good memories she could feed on. The Fae directed her eyes away from the being though, and continued to stare back out into the bar.

Again, the air around her was humming, the smell of the woods, the sound of flapping wings, the calm, peaceful feeling that overcame anyone who was near her. Slowly, the Fae sipped from her water, debating getting something a bit stronger, but she did not move to do so. Lilith simply sat there.

Lilith Fleur It took her a few seconds to register the eavesdropping that she was doing. With one eyebrow lifted, and the temperature of the room changing slightly as her emotions did, she directed her attention to the new man that had come into the room, without glancing. Only listening. Lilith got the feeling that he was not a very pleasant person. She tugged on her earlobe for a few seconds, relieving herself of an itch, but Lilith did not move to go talk to either of them, not yet, no matter how much curiosity nagged her to. She didn't know who they were. It wasn't a secret that the last of the Fae were being hunted by everyone who knew about them.

In a moment, she told herself. The butterfly had even come peeking out of her hair to see what was going on, who his friend was listening to. Why she was so quiet. She felt its feelers on her jaw, and a smile spread over her face. She laughed a little, the sound like autumn leaves falling over a fresh spring. Her laughter was interrupted by a voice, and she turned her eyes to Reaver. A quick glance up and down was all she gave him, did not judge, and she shrugged her shoulders. She had to be careful with what she said.

"I thought I heard someone," she said honestly, "But I wasn't staring in that direction." She had thought it would have been rude. The temperature in the room changed when she experienced a shift in her emotions again. She was not entirely fond of the way he had addressed her. "I'm Lilith, by the way," she corrected him, "Not 'woman'. Who are you?"

Lilith Fleur The air vibrated around her as she raised one eyebrow at him, and crossed one leg over the other. She tapped her bare foot against her leg, and rested her elbow on her knee. "What's your name?" she asked again, patiently, but when she heard the rest of his sentence, she cleared her throat.

"I. Heard. Someone. I didn't see anybody though," she said, each word clearly and spread apart, as if she was mocking him. The Fae was as fiery as anyone had ever seen her when she was angry, as fiery as the colors of her dress. She turned herself to look at him, arms crossed in front of her chest. Her little butterfly flew into the air and neared the newcomer. He could feel through the vibrations in the air and the heat, that the Fae was growing tired of being spoken to like that.

"Are you going to tell me who you are or not?" she had calmed again in a fraction of an instant, like a fire settling to become coals. Her eyes glinted with curiosity, voice tinged with kindness.

Lilith Fleur Her eyebrow lifted once again, and the Fae took a long, hard look at him. "Wow you're just a shining example of moral integrity, aren't you?" she said coldly, and stood up, walking toward him. The air around her vibrated again, and the temperature of the air suddenly spiked up. Her eyes flashed, but she leaned on the bar, shrugging her shoulders. "Tulips are nasty flowers," she said.

"I'd just like to know. If you don't want to tell me, I can always nickname you something, like ugly. Y'know, something fitting." Lilith wasn't usually someone to call names, but she was a little angry at the moment. "Besides, kiddo," she said, her voice still dripping with sarcasm, "I wouldn't go calling someone who's probably ten times older than you and twenty times more powerful the 'weaker sex'. I might be the weaker sex, but you are the weaker species, even with your getup. Not to mention, last time I checked it's not my job to make sure you're sane."

Lilith did not like to angry, she did not like to be rude, but at the moment she couldn't help it. "Now if you want to go ahead and tell me your name and stop throwing insults at me, I can buy you a drink."
