Lillea shook her head, resting her chin on one hand, "I'm sure you don't know me, but...yes, I've made my way in here before, even though it seems to be hazardous to my health."

Lillea rose and made her way back to the darkened corner, her eyes once again clouded with thought. Another close run-in had left her anxious, but her guard was down. She shuddered to think what would happen if one of her enemies happened to enter. In an attempt to distract herself, she once again buried herself in the small volume, its pages soon absorbing her and shutting out the world around her.

Lillea A slim, callused hand shoved the door open, the sapphire eyes scanning various faces as she swept into the room, making her way to a secluded alcove in the corner. Lillea slouched in the seat, leaning forward on her bare arms as she stared at the badly painted walls. Thoughts rushed through her mind, doubt, worry, and even a hint of fear, was she losing her touch? Such a close run-in had shaken her, although she was unwilling to admit it, preferring to keep a cool, calm exterior. One hand drummed on her leg, the only betrayal of her unease.

Lillea her attractive face was passive, although inside her head she was running over the moment. Every terrifying second, making her flinch as the familiar pain ran up her arm. Her eyes narrowed, she wouldn't let it get so close again, she couldn't afford to.

Lillea ran a finger through her fiery locks, a heavy sigh forcing its way through her lips. So far, none of the military officials she usually saw had shown up, a small stroke of luck for her. However, it couldn't be certain that there weren't individuals willing to take her in for the bounty that had been placed on her head. A deserter was worth quite a bit, a non-human deserter, even more.

Lillea tapped her legs anxiously against the floorboards, she needed something stiff. She rose and made her way to the bar counter, waving to Chuji for attention. Hopefully it didn't take too much time, she wasn't sure how safe it was for her to stand in the open.

Lillea waved again, this time more insistently. Chuji was rather ignorant if he couldn't see her, and more than that, he was bland.

Lillea "just give me a vodka, straight. Sorry to disturb you." her soft British accent held the small note of irritation.

Lillea sighed, "It's quite alright." She tilted back the glass, draining half of it in one gulp, sighing as the heavy liquer poured down her throat.

Lillea rose, leaving the drink on the counter and sliding back into her seat. One eyebrow rose as she watched the dog enter the bar. "Odd," she murmured, and laid her head on the polished wood, hoping the soldier-less bar would keep its status.

Lillea descended from the rooms above the tavern, dark circles evident beneath the brilliant blue gaze. Sleep did not come easy to her, it never had, but at least a few moments had been snatched. She cast a tired, but intelligent glance around the room, making sure that it held no enemies and sat herself in a quiet, comfortable alcove, hoping to remain unseen.

Lillea cast a quick glance outside, her eyes narrowing in disgust as she spotted Zi, and his general Kwai, the usual destruction at their feet. With any luck they wouldn't notice she was here, that is, if she could stifle her instinct to dart out and help the other side. No, such heroics were best saved until she was truly free.

Lillea settled against the walls of her alcove, confident that she wouldn't be spotted. At least she would be given SOME peace in her weariness. Her arms crossed over her chest as she glanced at the other patrons, however few there were. They seemed so peaceful, compared to what she normally saw. A smile played across her attractive features, the rare emotion of amusement evident on her face as she reached into her pocket. The beings who often inhabited this place seemed so fickle, quiet one moment, angry the next, much like herself at times. She pulled out a small, leather-bound volume and lost herself in its hand-written pages, making the bounty on her head, and those who hunted her, seem very far away.

Lillea let out a sigh of contentment and moved from her small alcove, placing herself closer to the center of the tavern, something she didn't do often. The air seemed less stifled here, untainted with the scent of rage and anxiety, emotions she rarely found herself without. However, it seemed as though she had achieved an uneasy balance. Zi and his men were gone, leaving her calm, albeit wary. She could never let her guard down, not in her situation.

Lillea glanced over at the she-wolf, a snort coming from deep within her chest. Her tongue formed words that she would understand, "You needn't be so jumpy, wolf. He has scented his mistress, and she is far more important that YOU."

Lillea flinched at Edward, eyes narrowing. She couldn't help but track his movements over the cover of her book. Such a human wasn't worthy of fighting a dragon, especially one so arrogant.

Lillea barely stifled a chuckle, "You're quite arrogant for one so small," she peered over the leather-bound volume, sapphire gaze meeting hers, "We 'two-leggers' as you call us, aren't nearly as frail as we seem, especially those of us in this place." Her legs crossed over one another, the whipcord muscle hidden beneath the folds of her military-issue pants. This furry little princess was quite amusing.

Lillea rolled her eyes, it was a pompous display that simply cried for attention. She found herself wondering what sort of pack the she-wolf had been raised by, to allow her to have such a high opinion of herself. It was sickening just how she held herself, as if all of them should be worshiping at the 'perfect' paws. A long sigh passed through her lips as she drummed her fingers on the table, a sure sign of irritation.

Lillea laid down her novel and met the arrogant gaze, her attractive features frozen in a stiffly polite smile. She had met a girl like this once, and she'd gotten herself a nasty surprise when she realized that she wasn't the greatest female ever born, she could only watch and wait to see when this little wolf discovered that for herself. Until then, she would have to content herself with watching the foolish little display. A thought crossed her mind and she laughed aloud, she wondered how Selmaina would react to such a fae, perhaps teach her how TRUE wolves were to behave.

Lillea turned her gaze from the wolf for just a moment, "I said nothing. I was simply wondering if you were successful in your...dragon hunt." Only those who truly knew her could see the flash of anger in her eyes, just the slightest hint of orange around the royal blue.

Lillea glanced at the proffered hand like it was a toad, or something equally unpleasant, "Lillea." She didn't even bother with the usual formalities.

Lillea didn't acknowledge the angered wolf, perhaps the lack of attention would knock some sense into her, and answered Edward, her soft British accent floating across the air to his ears, "Oh, I'm sorry. I don't take kindly to those who slay innocent beings." Her polite smile remained in-tact, while her chest was alight with fury. One slim, callused hand laid itself on the table as she awaited his response, keeping a slight watch on Sundassasda.
