Description

Linus Trucidabunt

"This is my bird bro," Linus responded simply, if anything feeling slightly astonished. He looked to the bird with a frank smile. It was true. They were bird and man, man and bird. Questing across the unknown, known, and kinda known. Mapping their futures, flying on the wind. Marty and Linus. Linus and Marty.

Find Cetus and get my ship back after I help out this cat, have no idea where all these blast felines are coming from. Starting to think it has something to do with this bird.

So begins...

Asleep was Wing City

The whole thing was rather devious, genius even. Due to one of the crew's connections they had 'entered' (the term being used rather loosely here) the previously inaccessaible Ocean Annex dock. Ocean Annex was a new attempt by the Government to bring some sort of order to Terra, a project meant to unite the seas under the hand of the government. Sadly the little group here had heard of it and well, it was basically concensus.

Let's live on the High Seas, s'not like that they were ever going to use these ships, and well, really. Who could use ships more: The Citizens of Terra, or an entire Government that's frequently taken over every second Monday of ever second month,
was the mantra. In short,
Fuck Aslund,
and
To Hell With Wing City
to boot.

In the end they had a plan, a dangerous plan, a plan that was likely to blow up in their face, a plan that had (as far as they were concerned) never been attempted before. It was the plan of plans, it was planception! It was sure to be a rough ride, but it would be worth it. At least they hoped, gods they hoped.

"This better fuckin' work," grumbled Linus Trucidabunt to the Captain under his breath as they strolled down the dock. They were approaching the gate, the stronghold, the first true mountain to climb in their devious scheme. Personally, he'd about had it with The Captain's plans that tended to get tied all up in knots.

Krisandra having been focusing on the ocean would reply, not realizing she had not been spoken too, "If we can get on the boat, I guarantee we can get out of port without any bother, but holy hell I hope you guys do have back-up because I am not repeating last try, how hard was it to just get into a boat?"

Linus Trucidabunt shrugged, coming to a halt at the first security terminal. It wasn't guarded with life forms, for it was just the first step, but it did have a couple lazers that automatically trained themselves on any movement. Linus sighed, and made a motion that would look like he was adjusting his tie.

Not even appearing caring about this, she would close her eyes and listen to the soothing song of the ocean, her breath light and her body placid.

In reality, Linus Trucidabunt was pressing a button on a transmitting module that he had cleverly hidden in the knot of the tie. It was surrounded in anti--detection foil, a product he had managed to snag off the black market. It was still, like most things he had, in prototype.

The wind would grow louder driven by a strange force and the tide would shift, and Krisandra would merely smirk, not even saying just knowing how hard it be to hear anything now.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZTchknnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

That was the sound of the security buzzer clearing them to the port. The large gate rattled away and disappeared into the wall, Linus didn't hesitate and began marching forth. Best to appear like they were here on official business, and technically they were.

Enetra Simply watched as the giant gate was opened. She looked at the entrance of it, but didnt decide to move in yet. There was always the possibility of traps and such. Even if they werent expecting trouble. It seemed like Enetra didnt even think about this though, he simply barged into the place widout hesitating. It was slightly annoying to her. " I assume you will be more carefull inside the dock... " She then said while slowly following the man.

"Careful?" Linus said to Enetra out of the side of his mouth. "We've got nothing to worry about with the whole damned sea on our side," It may not be an exact truth, but it was a settling comment nontheless.

Still, he slowed his roll and looked around. There wasn't much action right here, but up ahead a ways was the next checkpoint. It was there the party would wind up indoors, thus taking the conclusive step in Project Kraken. One would not return beyond that point.

"See that door?" How could you not, "That'll be the issue. I can only tech us so far."

Finally speaking she would sneer, "I could probably smash the door open, if we weren't going for Captain's absurd idea of stealth, honestly we could have been done now, if I could just get ahead to flood this entire port!"

Enetra seemed to release a small laugh at the words of the man. "Still, were supposed to use 'stealth' here, so you might wanna consider being carefull for once. " She then said to the man, before turning towards Krisandra. The woman did have a point there, it would be alot easier to just flood the entire dock. "True, but this idea wont be fatal if we fail, also I dont like the idea of showing them our 'Ace'. Just imagine what would happen if they found out we had you with us." She said to the woman before looking back at the door. "They would probably also give the place a higher security if the plan would fail... And flooding the place could easily be countered by some fancy tricks."

They had finally drawn closer to the door, Linus snapped his fingers to signal that they should probably not discuss these things. Women, such gossips. Again, he reached up to adjust his tie, this time thumbing in an algorithm that would override the system for the door itself. He had also programmed in false identities, hardly worth mentioning for it was standard for every project. So long as life didn't interfere, the technology would know no better. They were just here to give some inspections. He prepared to draw the forged holo-badge with his other hand; in case credentials were required.

Identification,
A burly soldier type stepped forward, armed to the teeth. Promptly, Linus Trucidabunt produced his badge. The retina matter scanner that was installed in the eye of the soldier projected a beam of pink light, which penetrated the hologram. After a moment the light turned green, indicating that the holobadge had been cleared.

"Identification," The soldier addressed the next woman.

Enetra stared at the man as he questioned her. She wasnt really great with words and such and would probably not be able to avoid showing some kind of identification, which she didnt have... But well, knowing Krisandra that probably wouldnt be needed. She simply pointed towards her, before saying: "I'm with her." Hopefully the man would atleast talk to Krisandra, otherwise this might get a bit tricky.

"Identification," The soldier addressed Krisandra.

"Oh well clearly I am here to keep an eye on you, surely you would not believe for one second a mage of calibur would be here to waste time. The fact you feel that I am not be trusted will anger your superiors I even imagine if you continue this I will be forced to report back to Government, I am here to inspect the ships to see how water tight they are, and you wish to waste my time? I have good mind to leave now and demand my money back from the Government and get your ass fired for obviously wishing the ships aren't seen, why would you want that? Got something to hide?"

"To..." The soldier blinked rapidly, pulling up the scanned identification documents from the man. He reviewed them closer, seeing associated names. He followed through the names to their adjascent profiles, blinking again when the people before him matched the images and verbal credentials.

Nodding Krisandra would sneer, "See, now move it grunt and actually let us in, rather than waste our time. We have business to do now!"

He was skeptical, skeptical enough to alert everyone in the inside that there was something fishy going on tonight. Could he do anything about it? No, that would be blatant insubordination, and he was not about to lose his job for that. If he was wrong, if these people were as legitimate as their electronic documentation proved, then he at least wouldn't be screwed. Just a basic reprimand: You are not here to think, you are here to check, here to authorize, here to man the port! NOW BACK TO YOUR STATION AND CHECK YOUR BRAIN AT THE DOOR!

Silently, the soldier nodded, and blinked the proper blink pattern to open the door, thus clearing the group for entry.

Enetra could barely keep herself from laughing out loud. The words of Krisandra were simply hilarious to her. The poor soldier, he must have been more confused than a sheep in a pack of Alpaca's. That statement actually was very confusing to her and made her question her logic a bit. It seemed to work though... Which was good enough for her. It could be a trap though, which would mean they would be screwed... Who knew what they were planning. Oh well, they had Krisandra, so they would probably be able to get out of it widout a problem. She would then wait until either Krisandra or Linus would enter the place, before heading in herself.

The door opened, revealing a long hallway at the end of which was one other door. It looked like an elevator door, had no knobs or buttons. A sign above the door said
TOP SECRET
, as if the ominous hallway and oversecurity wasn't enough of a clue. Again, Linus reached up to override the door, but...Hm. Strange.
Linus couldn't detect anything especially electric about this door. Unexpected, he thought to himself frowning. After shooting the ladies a worried look, he began to fiddle with his tie more rigerously. Damned thing, there had to be some kind of automatic detector in the wall, or something.
What kinda fucked up magic puzzle was this?

Enetra sighed as she saw the face of the man. It seemed like there were going to be some problems, something which she didnt like. She had hoped that everything would go completely as planned, which was an incredibly dumb thing to think. Maybe it was because of the security, they were trying to steal a 'Top secret super-ship' or something like that. She honestly didnt have alot of experience with hacking and stuff, so she would probably not be able to help here. There wasnt actually that big of a reason for her to be in this place. It was not like she had some kind of power or a twisted tongue like Krisandra, nor did she have some kind of hacking ability or fake credantials.

Sighing she would walk on over to the door and touch the hard metal seam of both, closing her eyes she would carefully channel a small amount of power. Gradaully she would force water within the crack, increasing the volume to force it open. Her eyes glowed blue and she hoped the others were keeping eye on things, since her attention needed to be on here, since the door would only be open for brief slot of time, they had to be fast, since the water would vanish and doors would slam shut. Really it was risky, but since captain and the first mate had no idea, she was going to keep increasing volume of the water, to force it open further, keeping the amount locked in stasis almost, so it would only increase in one way.

Her breath was soft and actually focused, while her tattoos on her body glowed cyan, her entire form displaying huge amount of power of untold proportion, hair splaying out.

Then her eyes shot open, and the door was forced, in a cruel sounding echoing tone, she whispered, "MOVE... NOW!"

Enetra raised a brow as she saw Krisandra walk towards the door. This was certainly going to be interesting... and hectic. She slowly moved closer to the door, while watching the hall. She would probably have to move in quickly after this. Hopefully the woman wouldnt actually do what she was expecting, because if so then the whole idea of stealth was thrown out of the window. And she did, which resulted in her laughing out loud as she rushed through the door. Hopefully this wouldnt result in the plan failing... They were pretty screwed, as everyone in the dock would probably be notified with their presence.

He rushed in through the door, glad they were able to get through, but pissed as ever at the force that was used.

"Are you kiddin' me?" Linus said to the girls as he followed them through, putting a spring in his step that hadn't been there before. Just as he made it through, Linus heard the sound of water splashing to the floor, followed by the definite sound of the doors closing.

Listening for the splashing she would survey the area slowly, drawing a pistol from her side, and whispering, "It's a precaution nothing more, you make sure to turn off the cameras in here, you did bring the laptop right?"

"Did I bring the... He simply shook his head, setting up shop right there on the floor and pulling from his sleeve the retractable touch screen. Magic users, always forgetting about the applications of technology. Quickly, he tapped away at the flexiscreen. The ship specs were up, and the cameras had been disabled. It was easy enough to loop them to the moments before they had arrived, and delete the footage of them in the docking bay.

"Ship should be towards the end," Linus said without looking up, pouring over the information. Reaching again for his tie, he carefully thumbed in the deactivation pattern that would allow entry to the ship they were looking for.

"Find it?" He called down the docks.

Meanwhile, the soldiers had begun to take notice.

A group of soldiers would approach dressed in the Terran military uniform armed with rifles and custom handguns, they would peer at the three new arrivals, slowly, before drawing a conclusion and approaching them all, their gun safety off. One would fire a warning shot and the one in charge would speak up, "You are ordered to cease all actions and identify who you are? I am Mjr. Gaberial Donner and I am in charge of this facility. You have five minutes to explain whom you are, or you shall be surrounded and apprehended."

Enetra simply froze as she heard the soldiers aproach. " Fuck. " She then said before slowly moving back towards the wall. It was all Krisandra's fault, if she hadnt been impatient, then they wouldnt be in this position right now... Hopefully they would be able to find a way out of this place. The mision was probably aborted. There was no way they would be able to get past this, she wouldnt be able to do anyway. Maybe Krisandra would be able to stop them, but she honestly wasnt going to rely on her anymore. She hated that feeling, which was rather strange for someone like her. She wasnt going to say anything, as that would probably only work against her. She wasnt that great with words, and would simply watch for the time being.

Looks like it was time to get the fuck outta here. He was the closest to the soldiers, unfortunately, but had the element of the electric on his side.
"We have clearance, Sir," He said, hoping to hell that Krisandra was working some serious magic by the ship.

"I can pull up all the documentation," Linus slipped the flexiscreen back into his sleeve and again presented the holobadge. The soldiers looked less than amused, with their guns still trained on the party.
