Livia Caesarius pointed and shouted. "Persequetur eum!" With her shout came a run, as she ran, darting between people with her sword outstretched, soon every Legion in the city was turning where the woman pointed, Swords and spears readied, they gave chase, but Livia had lost him in the crowded Market square, and with a growl, she reached into her tunica, and pulled out a very familiar weapon to Randin, a strange revolver, but the barrel was on the 6 O'clock rather than the Twelve O'clock, she fired a single shot in the air, and the people began to scatter.

"locus reum vivere volo!" She barked, chasing after him through the alleyway, shoving a vagrant aside, along with several other people.

"You won't escape me alive Kaye!" She barked, as she tried to give chase, of course by now, the gates to the city had been blocked by Legionaries, ready to fight if need be.

"Come out and maybe I won't slice your throat!" Livia screamed.

The Merchant was startled by Randin, and he violently shook his head. "Scio non! Scio non!" He repeated, before he pointed outside. "Quid est Legatus quaerens te?" He questioned quickly, before he tried to back away. "Custodes! Ille hic! Ille Hic!" He shouted, trying to get away from Randin, ducking under a Legionary as he stepped into the apartment.

"Come out, Profligate! And I assure you your death will be swift and painless!" He challenged, pointing his spear into the Apartment, before shouting. "Legatus! Inveni eum!" He shouted, before he crept into the apartment, not knowing Randin's exact location.

"I know you're in here, now show yourself!" he challenged one more time, creeping, the wooden floor creaking under his weight, the Legate would be there soon. And she was, making her way to the apartment.

"Vos bastardus ..." She grumbled under her breath, starting up the stairs.

Livia Caesarius had been caught completely by suprise, and her armored torso hit the wooden floor with a loud clunk, it didn't take long for Randin to get the jump on her, pinning her down as she stared up at him, her eyes were as blue as Marlenes, but hardened and almost piercing.

"You probably could, but if I died do you really think you would be able to leave here alive? I'm a lot tougher than you think, Profligate."

She bucked her hips upwards, just enough to dislodge him from where he sat, and maybe throw him off of her, she rolled from under and quickly flipped to her feet, she didn't go for the Gladius, nor did she go for the Pugio, she simply opted to put distance between the two.

"Now that you're here I can have you crucified for your abuse." She said, it wasn't long before her hand moved to her sheathed blade.

"I will be sure to have you and Ari crucified side by side, I hear she's a whore, her legs spread as wide as the magnum chasma." Livia said, gripping the Gladius.

"You choose her over the woman whom loves you, and barely leaves her Domus, let alone her aedis, and for that I have ordered your deaths. You leave her here to fend for herself, and go back to that thing you call a lover, I will be sure that Ari is tied to the cross, rather than nailed, so her death is slow."

Livia Caesarius laughed. "I don't? Apparently neither do you." She said, unsheathing her blade, and holding it forward. The blade shimmered, as it was finely polished, and it appeared to be laser sharpened within a molecular level, allowing it to slice through most metals with ease. The blade surface itself was lined with Taiyou Nanosteel, and it's difference in hue was obvious.

"Marlene confided in me, she wished you didn't love Ari, she wanted you to stay, she needed you Randin, see.. Marlene and I go way back, she's a sister to me, and I don't like it when people hurt her."

Livia stepped forward.

"You can either make it right or accept your fate, I will give you one day, though, for all intents and purposes, I should have you crucified, I heard about your little stunt in the bar, it's a shame, Alaekos was a very... well trained Frumantarius."

Livia Caesarius shook her head. "No, the man's life other than his value as a frumentarius meant nothing to me, he was disposable in entirety." She said, sheathing her blade. "You have much to learn, Marlene lives in the outskirts of town, near the Library, I don't think she will speak to you though, she is very angry with you." Livia said, before she started out the door.

"Oh and Profligate... if you lay your hands on me again, I will cut your balls off, stuff them in your mouth, and have you crucified."

Livia Caesarius had interrupted Marlene. "And only in death do you part ways." She said, approaching from a small road in the south, helmet held in the crook of her arm.

"Are you two settling in okay? I sent someone to the Taiyou depot to have some modern conveniences brought, since I know your husband just can't possibly go without his fancy toys."

Livia Caesarius huffed. "I just wanted to make sure..." She silently waited for Marlene to walk off. "That you would withhold your end of the bargain." She said, clunking up to him, noting the Bifrost remote in his hand.

"And do not think that you can escape so freely, if you leave and do not return, I will find out, and there will be other Frumentarii out to end you."

Livia Caesarius spat on the ground, before she set the helmet on top of a small table. "I want Marlene to be happy, and I want to ram it into your thick skull that without you she won't be happy, either way you're fucked, because I'll wind up having to kill you anyway.

She laughed for a moment. "You care about her, but I wonder what it is about her you find so repulsive, I'm only trying to help, by helping her get what she wants above all other things, maybe you're just too good for a broken, battered Aschen three times your age." Livia huffed, backing up but not turning her back to Randin.

"I hoped to arrange this to help you realize how much she loves you, you're everything to that woman, and you plan on telling her the truth, let's just say knowing Marlene, she'll probably try to kill us both, and I'll have to put her down."

Livia Caesarius stepped forward, glaring at Randin. "She is, isn't she? Her complacency has made her weak in my opinion, she's unstable, I care for her happiness, beyond what you could understand." Livia then stepped back. "Do what you will, but be prepared for the fallout, I'll be here to mop up the mess."

She grabbed her helmet, and slowly slid it atop her head. "You better dress in something nice, the Emperor will be in town in one cycle." Livia said, as she started to trot off, shoving a street vendor out of her way.

Livia Caesarius trotted into the bar, of course not before she threw the door open, blue eyes scanning the interior of the bar. She huffed and rested her hand on her mighty gladius. As she stepped forward, her armor clunked with her movements. The woman had on a helmet, which concealed much of her face, red feathers pluming up from the top of the helmet.

A few more steps and she narrowed her eyes. "So this is the infamous bar, legends of the Taiyou that pass through." She huffed, clunking forward again.

"Pathetic."

Livia Caesarius laughed, then the laugh settled into a chuckle. "They fight as if they lack skill, I could defeat them both in combat." Livia boasted, before she turned, frowning after being called a 'Chivalrous Knight'

"I'm a Legate, of the Empire's Eastern hold." She quipped, shaking her head at the insult.

"I've come to see this Terra for myself, I come from a realm far from these lands."

Livia Caesarius continued to look around the bar, slowly shaking her head as she rested her hand on her Spatha.

"Hmm..." She muttered a moment, stepping forward and scanning the interior of the bar. Staring at Roth for a moment, then her gaze fell on Naoki.

"You both fight like children." Livia commented.

Livia Caesarius was quite amused at the comments, her eyes falling on Phinx. "I am sure these wenches couldn't harm any of us, I've seen more fighting in my lifetime than any of these rotten curs will ever see!" She boasted, before she clunked and clattered over to Doji.

"Hmmpf." The Legate huffed, hands on her Spatha once more, before she turned to fund an empty table.

"I'm itching for a fight."

Livia Caesarius shrugged, turning to Phinx. "Don't fight in here? This is a place of merriment, not fighting." She said, eyes still on Doji. "Besides, though some of you fight with some perieved notion of Honor, I fight dirty, I'll bring a gun to a knife fight, and my Armor? It's impenetrable, to pretty much anything anyone could throw at me, and my Spatha?" She unsheathed it, and spun on her heels, bringing it down on a table, the blade cutting right through.

The Table still sat there, before it slid in half, a neat, perfect cut down the middle.

"My Blade, the Blazefire is my own, forged by a friend of mine back in the Zion Wars, I have slain many demons with my blade."

Livia Caesarius frowned for a moment, narrowing her eyes at the sound of an Aschen in the bar. "Langarans." She grumbled, before she slowly turned around, the Legate staring directly at him, taking in the suit, the curves of the black construct before her. The Legate regarded him for a few more moments before she frowned, and went to find herself an empty table.

"They seem to be everywhere." She grumbled, sliding her Spatha in it's scabbard, Livia then went quiet.

Livia Caesarius shook her head. "It's too light, not balanced enough." She said, taking the sword and handling it for a moment, before she slid it back, inclining her head. "Though it is an impressive weapon." She said, nodding.

"It's not for me." She then withdrew her Spatha, sliding it forward towards Doji.

"What do you think of mine? It's called Blazefire, forged by an old friend for me, he's long passed away."

Livia Caesarius slowly stood up, nodding. "Perhaps some day we will fight side by side, but until then, we must wait." She said as she watched the events unfold, Livia slowly backing away from the whole fight that was slowly fixing to unfold.

The small Argosian camp had been sitting nestled in the hidden Glen for some time, tasked by the Taiyou to provide as forward scouting in an allied capacity for the eventual Taiyou offensive into Terra, Livia, the Legate of the Eastern Hold had been given the special responsibility by Emperor Octavius himself to go to Terra and provide the necessary information.

The Sun was high, poking through the canopy in the strees and shining on the red fabric of the Legate's tent, two flags on either side of the camp with a Bull motif fluttering in the wind. To the south of the camp were four Aschen marines, all of them crucified as a warning to anyone who might approach the camp.

Slave women, with massive packs on their back struggled too and from and about the camp like pack animals, with Legionaries sharpening their blades on whetstones powered by small motors, the smell of smoked meats, and the sound of men chattering could be heard, as the small camp of fifty Legionaries went about their business.

Livia Caesarius stepped out from her tent to observe the surroundings, before she inclined her head to a Legionary whom was sharpening his blade. "I'm going to take a contingent with me into the woods, see if the perimeter is secure, you're in charge of the camp while I am gone." The Centurion gave a slight nod, before he held his fist to his chest. "Yes, my Legate!" He then offered a bow before Livia signaled some men to go with her.

"Come!" She said, as she trotted out towards the northern camp exit, a pair of Legionaries tying a wounded Aschen soldier to another wooden cross, before hoisting him up, the man's pained moans echoing in the camp as the Argosians laughed at him.

Livia Caesarius had heard something, perhaps a rustling as Altheda positioned herself on a different portion of the tree, Livia had been an attuned warrior, her senses tuned to even the finest movements. With Altheda's movements Livia stopped, and there was a silence, before she drew her sword, the blade glinting in the sunlight before she looked up, her helmet hiding most of her head and facial features, it's bright red plumage wafting in the wind.

"Show yourself profligate!" She shouted, for all she knew, what she heard was a cloaked Aschen soldier.

With a wave of her hand, the Legionaries all drew their blades, and began to fan out, slowly as Livia scanned the treetops.

"Come out so I may smite you!"

Livia Caesarius kept her sword outstretched, pointed at Altheda, the metal glinting in the light as the woman narrowed her blue eyes. "An Aschen Spy?" She said to herself, glaring for a moment. "Who are you, Who sent you? I don't buy curiosity, after-all it killed the cat." Livia explained, stepping forward, her metal boots crunching in the soil.

She didn't know if this woman was an assassin, or a spy, so she took no liberties with her.

"Those crucified men are up there for a reason, it's a nice way of saying.. 'keep out' !"

Livia Caesarius lowered her blade, before she retracted her blade arm, the sound of metal on metal echoing as the blade slid into it's scabbard, latching into place as the Legate stepped forward.

"You don't know what an Aschen is?" She said, before she stopped, a loud boom echoing in the distance, followed by a low rumbling, another sequence of deafening pops echoing as Livia growled.

"We need to go." She said, over another crack of what sounded like thunder.

"Gaius! Go back to the camp and tell them to pack and prepare to move out, we'll meet up to the south of here." She said, before she turned to Altheda, another deafening boom echoing in the distance, like thunder.

Livia Caesarius shook her head. "That sound is the Aschen, and ten thousand bad things heading this way." She turned to peer out, before she ran up towards a ridge overlooking the distant valley and hills, off in the distance was a massive looming dark cloud, which was flickering with greens and blues, and amongst the dark clouds ships could be made out, lancing the earth with brilliant beams of death, flickers of light, and the deafening booms of a thunder-like sound.

"But if you want to stay and die, then I won't stop you, but if you go with me, I can take you to a place the Aschen can't touch, a forest to call home!" It was the first act of kindness the Legate had offered since the Zion wars.

"But we need to go! Now!"
