Lord Andolen Thatcher, the leader of an army of mages and magic users organized and gathered together against the abuse and injustice inflicted upon their kind by the many different governments of the multiverse.
Andolen wields an ancient magic based on the primal forces of existence. By inscribing glyphs and channeling power into the inscriptions, he can imbue any object with primal energies and spells capable of warping the fabric of reality itself.
Lord Andolen Thatcher's armament has grown since the beginning of his campaign to topple the governments that cage and punish the mages within their borders. Three swords, enchanted to act upon his will when drawn so that his hands are freed to wield his magic. His armor is inscribed with arcane constructs that protect him from dangers physical, magical, mental and much else. His left gauntlet is inscribed with spells for the breaking and controlling of minds.
His powers are not limited there. Andolen is a genius, creating magic and spells at a whim to suit any situation he may find himself in, and he excels in maneuvering around his opponents and enemies, circumventing their capabilities and striking at their weaknesses.
Ambition, Will, and PowerAndolen Thatcher was born to a lower class elvish family that lived on the planet of Misrana, having come from a darker place where they were not welcome and not asked for. For the first decade of his life, he was happy. His family was not rich, but they did not suffer for food. They lived among friends, and they helped and were helped. It was a comfortable life, a happy one, they were content. At a young age he showed prowess with magic and all things arcane. And when this was discovered, he became the pride of his parents their friends.
Such was their woe, that a handful of people who lived as their neighbors were fearful of magic and it's implications. Out of that fear was born hate, and from that hatred was an unforgivable sin wrought. In the dead of night, Andolen's family and friends were murdered, to the very last. He alone survived, a child, left for dead beneath the corpse of the mother who had died to protect him. It would be no less than a day before he was able to force himself to crawl out from under her body and leave the bloodsoaked home where his happiness, and innocence, would be lost.
Being only a child, and knowing nothing of the ways of the world, Andolen went to those who's purpose it was to protect the innocent, only to find himself shunned for no other reason than because he was an elf. Even worse was that he was an orphan, and from a family with no money. He quickly realized that those virtues, justice and honor, meant nothing to those who had power. He was wroth with anger at their derliction, that they would take up false emblems and proclaim themselves keepers of peace and justice, yet turn a blind eye to the suffering of a child, no matter where that child may come from.
So Andolen was left to fend for himself in a place where no one wanted him or would help him. He was alone, and would have perished if not for his great mind and his greater power. For with his gift of magic, and his clever guile, he was able to steal what he needed to survive, escape from those who would chase him for it, and fight off those who would seek to take it from him.
In time, Andolen secured a name for himself in criminal circles, and he rose to prominence in the underworld, which suited him, having been shunned by the light. But though he had survived, he never forgot the injustice of his childhood, stolen in a moment by those filled with hatred. In time, he became a beacon for all who were abandoned and shunned. He accrued a following of lost and broken souls, and he gave them purpose, and fixed them. He became to them a true leader, a true protector, and they named him their lord and master.
Now, Lord Andolen Thatcher, he who was nothing, seeks to claim, by force if necessary, the rule of whole worlds.
"I do not care what anyone else may say or believe, injustice is NOT a natural part of the world. If you cannot protect those you rule over, then you have no right to rule over them."
