a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by HitoriRaven

Description

Allomancy
Allomancy is one of the three magic systems in the Mistborn fantasy novel trilogy, and is the most prominent. People capable of Allomancy are known as Allomancers. Allomancers have the ability to "burn" (or use) metals, in order to fuel a variety of physical and mental enhancements and abilities. For an additional burst of power, they may flare, or burn their metal especially quickly, consuming it at an accelerated rate, but gaining greater benefits in return. A person who can only burn one metal is known as a Misting. If a person is born with the ability to burn more than one metal, they can burn all Allomantic metals, and are known as Mistborn.
There are 16 metals that Allomancers are able to use: 8 basic metals (4 base metals and 4 alloys) and 8 Higher metals (4 base metals and 4 alloys). All these metals must be pure when ingested, and the alloys must be mixed to specific proportions. If the metals are impure or mixed wrong the Allomancer could become very ill or possibly die.
The Allomantic metals come in four groupings of four metals: Physical, Mental, Temporal, and Enhancement. Each of these four groupings has two base metals and their corresponding alloys, which in turn have a related ability. Each metal produces an Internal or an External, an Push or an Pull effect.

Feruchemy
Feruchemy is the second magic system in the series. Feruchemy works differently from the other magics. While an Allomancer burns metal to gain power, a Feruchemist can use these sames metals as holding units, or minds, to store up their own power. Basically, depending on the metal, a Feruchemist can become worse at something in exchange to be equally better in the future. No power is gained or lost.
The major strength of Feruchemy versus Allomancy is the speed at which one can access its power. While a Feruchemist must provide the power for the magic from himself, storing it over time, an Allomancer can simply consume metals to power the magic. However, an Allomancer has limits to how much power they can draw at once; a Feruchemist can draw out the power of the metalmind with virtually no upper limit, exhausting it in one massive burst if they so choose. For instance, a Feruchemist tapping a pewtermind can be far, far stronger than even a very powerful Mistborn burning pewter, if only for a short time.

-----------

Lysaria is a Twinborn, a person who has one Feruchemical power and one Allomantic power. She has to power to 'burn' iron, revealing blue lines that lead to her chest. With them, she can 'Pull' on the lines, which lead to metal. Physics still apply; if the item is larger, she goes towards it, if smaller, it comes to her, and if equal, then both move about the same distance. Mistings who can burn iron are know as Lurchers.
As a Feruchemist, she can store fortune, or luck, in a metal called chromium. While storing, Lysaria becomes unlucky, and when tapping, the opposite happens. Ferrings who use chromium are called Spinners.

As a person, Lysaria lives the life of a Twinborn and a courtly lady. Having her powers has given her freedom, she can be both polite and cutting, depending on the situation. For the most part, she is what is described as a 'tomboy', though the word has not gained significance where she comes from. Adventurous, brave, a bit short-tempered and sometimes foolish.

She wears a mistcoat, essentially a jacket with long swirling tassels, occasionally. Otherwise, she usually dressed in a late 18th century style suit, rather than a dress. After all, it's hard to move in one of those. She carries a flask tied to her belt, filled with whiskey and iron shavings. Lysaria also carries hip holsters that holds two Sterion 36's, six-shot revolvers modified to carry various types of bullets. A steel plate is worn on her chest.

Lysaria has long, wavy, blonde hair, which is pulled back into a ponytail when on official business. Her eyes are chocolate-brown and she stands at about 5'2, making her a fairly small target. She is fair enough, as far as looks go, though for the most part tends to hide anything that would get her noticed overtly.

So begins...

"No prob, I'm sure I can imagine. Rai told me about what's been going on," she said, becoming sullen and turning to face the other woman. Lysaria hopped to her feet, reaching over to give Breeze a pat on the shoulder.

Remembering that she had previous company, the blonde turned to Archimedes. "You're not interrupting something, but I do have some business to attend to," she told him apologetically. "But I'll hold onto this, and next time, drinks on me." This was accompanied with a gesture to the flower.

Turning her attention back to her friend, she sighed. "We can go upstairs right now if you want. I need to hear about this."

Lysaria nodded and began walking towards the stairs, indicating for Breeze to follow. "Bet you're tin's still burning. Watchful as ever, Breezy. It's not too bad here, unless you suspect you've been followed."

"But just in case, we'll save the talk for upstairs," she noted, slowing her pace down for the other woman. It was clear that the other Twinborn was quite tired.

Lysaria had lagged behind her friend, doubling back after a second to grab her drink. After all, she had paid for it and everything. Coming up the stairs, she noticed Breeze standing in front of her door. "Breezy, you know how strange it is when you basically smell stuff? It's kind of creepy, actually. Like, you're smelling me or something," the woman complained lightheartedly, pouting a bit.

A few strides brought her to the door, which she quickly unlocked and swung open. "Well, come on in. It's not much." The room was simply a Gambit's hotel room, with a few of Lysaria's odds, ends and personal belongings strewn about.

"And close the door behind you before you lay it on me."

"Heh, sharp as always. It is the good stuff, after all. Can't have our guns jamming up on us." The blonde slid out a chair, plopping down in it. She drank from her glass before setting it down on the table, then proceeded to observe her fingernails casually. "I heard that a war broke out, a real Mistborn is there leading it, and that.." she trailed off, "they have hostages. Sound about right?"

"Ugh," she spat, "all of them? I'm gonna get him real good." The Twinborn pounded her fist into her palm, scowling at nothing in particular. "I don't spite them for doing what would save their lives. And alright, Breezy. I'll bite. What's weird, and what sightings are we talking about?" she queried, quirking an eyebrow.

"I think it's safe to assume everyone we can't find is captured unless we know otherwise," she mused, frowning deeply. "I don't want to think that we have more allies than we actually do."

The information only deepened her frown. "Sounds like a case of the mist making people see things that aren't there. For all those who believe in the Survivor, everyone knows that he's dead and isn't coming back. These sound like rumours, just plain and simple, Breeze. I won't believe it till I see it with my own eyes."

"What's the plan?"

The woman sighed, pulling out her gun and fiddling with it. Obviously, keeping equipment in order was an important task. She shook her head. "No luck. Not very many people want to legitimately get involved in a war. Those who do, I wouldn't trust farther than I could Pull a giant metal slab. That is to say, not far."

"How're things looking on the homefront?"

"So it's exactly as expected, pickings are slim. We're basically the people from legends. I like the sound of that, I do," Lysaria said, giggling softly. "You're right though. And that's what Rai keeps saying, that I'm not just allowed to run in there." A small pout came across her face. "Which seems like too much work."

The woman paused, turning to look into Breeze's eyes grimly. "So we're sure he's a real Mistborn."

"We're gonna make them pay."

"Well, that certainly doesn't make our job any easier," she said, making a face. "Alright, so we know kind of what he looks like, kind of what he can do, and near nothing besides that. And you say...made him, Breezy?" The woman quirked a brow. "How would you have heard something like that? Strange rumour, if it is one."

"Uh, I don't usually have visitors except Rai..." she trailed off, looking down at her flask. Unfortunately, it was full of iron, so that was out. Hesitantly, Lysaria grabbed her glass of unidentified alcohol and offered it to Breeze. "Er, sorry."
