History

Marcus Delacroix was a world famous king and leader 119 years ago. He was well-loved and had a peaceful kingdom until a plague hit his kingdom. Marcus placed his people in cryostasis, hoping to revive them when the plague was gone. He himself slept in a cryostasis-like state for 100 years with his son, Xaiar. 19 years ago, both Marcus and Xaiar woke up and eventually stumbled into Wing City last year. A few weeks ago, Marcus lost his memories, only for them to come back violently. Unconsciously, he put a spell on himself to lose his voice until he gained back the other lost memories. Now that he knows who he is and what he has to do, he has both regained his voice, and his determination to save his people.

His son, Xaiar, also remembers, and has set out to help his brother turned father. Marcus' daughter Alejandra has turned out to be a weapon created against his kind and shape-shifters, seeing as the two are eerily alike. It has 7 other pieces though, and they are protecting each other.

He is the Council Memeber of Loyalty and Trust

Marcus Delacroix shook his head with a sigh. "I told Melody and I'll tell you. I will help in any way that I can. My army is all to willing to amass behind me to protect the Palace of Queens if need be." He said, arms crossed. Turning to Diana, he nodded. "We can do that as well. My people can guard the palace in the time being."

Marcus Delacroix sighed as he sat in his booth in a far corner, invisible by all thanks to his magic. He looked haggard and tired. He was thin, thinner than he should be really, but refused to eat the food that had been placed before him by his young daughter, Alejandra. The young girl looked worried, but said nothing. There wasn't anything she could do, at this moment, besides hope.

Words were exchanged between father and daughter, before father stormed out of the barrier, making himself visible. Not bothering to see who was where, or who was there, he made his way quickly to the bar counter and waved off the bartender, downing a bottle of alcohol quickly.

Marcus Delacroix winced when the scents of the bar hit him fully. He set the empty bottle down, not bothering to look at his ex-wife Ashleena. He swayed slightly, before making his way out of the bar almost determinedly.

He hated what he was going to do, but in the end, it was the best, for everyone. Sure, his son would miss him, but there was nothing besides him now, for him to live for. His people would understand...

Marcus Delacroix noted that, if anyone cared enough to have seen his exit, he was going to the Monastery's roof, to do some "thinking."

Marcus Delacroix didn't look up, though his ear twitched, signalling that he had heard Amduscias. "Wrong is too soft of a word to describe what's going on." He muttered quietly, though he had no doubt that the man had heard him.

Marcus Delacroix shrugged. "And what if I want to? I'm sure there is enough rubble to damage me to the point of death." His eyes held a pained look as he remembered why he wanted to do what he was being warned against.

Marcus Delacroix shrugged himself. "I don't care. So long...So long as I am no longer a burden." He whimpered, curling up on his side. "What else can I do, then, to no longer be an eyesore to my ex-wife, the woman who stabbed me in the back?"

Marcus Delacroix snorted. "My children hate me. Well, all but two do, and even then I've been a poor father." He pointed out, but didn't get up. He felt too weak to try anything.

Marcus Delacroix shook his head. "Too weak to get up." He said quietly, the fact being true. Not having eaten for at least a week was taking at toll. "Then what do you expect me to do, hm? I can't do shit. I'm being a burden on everyone."
