This hotheaded redheaded chick, is a fierce and feisty competitor in this year's airborne Jetlock competition-- and why wouldn't she be when her father is the best of the best, the captain of team Helios, Skylar Greyfeild?
Maria is always up for a challenge, well-trained by her father, Skylar Greyfield. She is a daredevil, outgoing, hotheaded and rash, everything you would expect a fiery redhead to be. She is a good strategist and loves to practice on the Thunderbolt, every minute of her spare time is spent riding. However, she is also very proud and her ego sometimes gets the best of her... hence the reason for her promiscuous clothing.
The Thunderbolt, Maria's Skygait, is a small, skate-board like vehicle, probably almost two feet long and half a foot wide, solid lime green with a single white stripe vertically down the center. It is a hoverboard, with several lime green discs that give it the ability to hover, the discs well-concealed because they are where to aim to bring the Thunderbolt down. It has two strap-down seat-belt-like things, to keep Ri-ri in place on her board. It's built for speed, and has an average mph of 120-260. Agile and made to cut tight turns, good for evasiveness and dodging, as well as stealth. The down side is that it's not equipped with any weapons but one lasergun, shooting repetitive red projectiles at the target. The lasers can cut through most materials.
Other than that she really doesn't have much "equipment."
Maria, aged 21, grew up in a Skygait-supportive household. Her mother was sweet and gentle and her father, if sometimes brusque or gruff, had a soft spot for his daughter. She was awarded for her patience in being taught aerodynamics and such especially needed for the sport that at twelve, she was awarded with a Skygait f her own-- the Thunderbolt. Also that year, Maria got her scar in an accident involving her father's huge tank of a Skygait. Now, about a decade later, Maria is an expert on her Skygait and entering her first airborne competition-- Jetlock.
