A Vampire aged 412 years and four months
Mark is a quiet, jaded individual. He doesn't like intimacy, having seen loved ones die from the simple passing of the years. He doesn't believe in much: Karma, reincarnation, and that he is not living the natural order of things. He believes that debt is the real currency of the world and that being kind can be one of the greater moves of power. He is suspicious of authority, though makes liberal use of it himself. Mark looks people in the eye and has a firm, grounded demeanor.
Mark generally doesn't carry much besides his wallet and Iphone. Occasionally, he brings a book. He prefers the new gritty style of writing, without false flashy romantic notions.
Mark was born in the eighteen century in Britain. He worked in a theatre, and even performed a little during the period. But as touted by the plays of the time, unsavory characters frequented the theatre. One such unsavory type is responsible for Mark's present state. Mark then fled England for America and when the 21st century rolled around, he started an internet company at the very beginnings of the internet age, capitalizing on the odd hours kept by hackers: most of his employees work nights. He very much likes to keep his life to himself and thus is invested in the quietness and equilibrium.
