Bio/History Markus was born to Helen and Scott Ronen on a rainy day in October 28, 1985. His birth had several complications that endangered both his life and his mother's. It was
a day after his birth that his mother died. Since then, his father tied to raise him to the best of his ability. He was a well behaved child for the most part. He did not have any tantrums at
the store if his dad said no to getting him candy or a certain brand of cereal. Friends of his fathers sometimes urged his father to date again, occasionally setting him up on blind dates.
The dates did not usually end well since most did not realize Scott had a son. It took a while but once Markus entered 3rd grade, his dad was dating a 'nice' woman. Her name was Kathy.
She was nice only when Scott was around, she would treat Markus horribly otherwise. Markus would start acting out at school when Scott told Markus that he and Kathy were engaged.
His father-son relation that Scott and Markus would eventually become strained as the engagement became closer and his dad pushed Markus to join sports during middle school and high
school. Markus had no intention of ever joining sports. He liked being on the computer. The computer they had was old and you had to know computer language to use it. Markus quickly
picked up the language like he was born to speak it. Markus gained a job at the local tech store and used the money he earned to build his own computer that he would upgrade as certain
pieces of tech became obsolete. He kept small things that would remind him how far things have progressed.

Upon graduating high school, Markus went of MIT where he discovered Linux. He loved what Linux was and how he could change it, shape it and create new things on it. He quickly became
a great hacker among those began to use his programs. Markus also discovered the darker side of hacking where he earned money by stealing secrets for other companies, stole tech from
the big companies so he always had the best stuff for his computer and laptop. He studied networks and computers more in-depth in class and easily passed all of his classes. He was
offered a variety of jobs and took none. He moved to Dallas where he became an IT and network specialists for the local companies. He would only work when he was needed otherwise he
would be at home programming or doing jobs he was hired for.

Markus Ronen approached the bar slight hesitant. This place was new to him. He stood before the door for a few moments before opening the door to the bar. He walked in, standing still for a moment before finding an empty table. He made sure his pirate box was functional as he took a seat and placed his laptop bag on the ground next to him. He was surprised at the tech in the bar.

Markus Ronen pulled out a custom made laptop with Alienware box. He opened it and started it up. The Ubuntu logo appeared on the second as the laptop loaded the starting menu. It took a second. Markus put in his password and waited for the desktop to appear. While he waited, he ordered a glass of pepsi from the interactive menu at the table. He took off his sunglasses and let his eyes adjust to the light as the desktop appeared.

Markus Ronen looked up as his Pepsi was placed down beside him. "Go ahead." He generally preferred being left alone but it was nice to have company from time to time. "My name is Markus, by the way. Generally one gives their name before asking to sit." Markus's hands flew over the keys on the laptop with grace. It was rare to see him hit the backspace key. Several programs and other items sprang to life on the screen, casting different shades of light on his face.

Glancing over at her for a moment, he wondered whether to be truthful or dishonest. He decided to play the middle. "I am writing a program." It was a half-truth since he was creating a virus to help remove trace evidence in the system he will hack into. He would normally be concentrating on the program but considering his surrounding he thought it better to multi-task.

Markus Ronen opened the door and casually walked in. He walked to an empty seat at a table. He moved the bag on his side towards the front as he took a seat. He pulled out a nice laptop and placed it on the table in front of him. He opened it and waited for it to start up. He flipped a switch. The log-in screen appeared on the screen. He entered his password and waited. He ordered a coke as he waited.

Markus Ronen took a sip from his traveling mug of coffee. He stretched before reaching for the door to Gambit's. He was starting to take a small liking to the place. It was interesting to see people who came in. He took a brief look around before finding an empty table to sit at. He placed his mug on the table while reaching into the messenger bag at his side. Pulling out a laptop and placing it on the table, he flicked his wrist like he was turning something on. He took his seat and opened the laptop, pressing the start-up button and waited for it to boot up.

Markus Ronen looked up as he heard the door open. He noticed the female before returning his gaze to the laptop in front of him. He placed his fingers over keyboard and began to type. It was amazing how fast his fingers moved across the keyboard. Occasionally, he would remove his right hand from the keyboard to the wireless mouse nearby. He clicked it a few times before returning his hand to the keyboard.

Markus Ronen tried to ignore the feeling of eyes as he worked on a new program. He stopped at turned towards the woman that had came into Gambit's. "Hello. Can I help you with something?" He spoke casually trying to not take annoyance that she was watching him. He reached over and picked up his travel mug and took a sip from it.

Markus Ronen bit his tongue for a moment. How dare she refer to computers and the like as nonsense?! He took another sip from the travel mug before placing on the table. "How are you still coming to grips with it? You barely look older than 20. You should have grown up with it unless you lived in the wild." He nodded to the seat next to him. "Come sit and we can talk about it." He was a bit confused as he noticed two new patrons walk into the bar.

Markus Ronen blinked and raised one of his eyebrows up. He could hardly believe to hear that she was actually much older than she appeared. He began a small search on his computer. It would run automatically while they talked till the results came in. "Venice?" He blinked. "Interesting. I am still sure that Venice as computers. Trust me I would know about this kind of thing." He smiled for a moment. "Regiment? So you are in the armed forces? Interesting choice. So why is it that you call computers and the like nonsense?"

Markus Ronen chuckled. "It is not that hard to learn. If you want to program, then you have a lot to learn but to just use a computer. The learning curve has leveled out fairly well since they were first created. Anyone can use the computer but it will take a while to get where I am then again for all I know you could be really good at it." He shrugged. He heard his computer ding as the search results were ready to be view. He put the computer to sleep in order to look at the items later.

Markus Ronen took a moment before he spoke. He was not sure if he should be completely truthful. "I am a programmer of sorts." He heard another person fall from the ceiling. He raises an eyebrow before returning to what he was saying. "I spend most of my time creating programs to use. Some people buy those programs or my services depending on what they want exactly."

Markus Ronen shrugged as she spoke. He blinked at her then looked at the kid again. He smiled again trying to friendly. "He did not do anything wrong as far as I can tell." He turned his gaze back to Kaleb as she explained the circumstances. "Well that is nice of you to do that." He looked at James. "Do you enjoy your time with your godmother?" He asked.

Markus Ronen finally put 2 and 2 together when the kid spoke. He smiled. James was being cute and Markus laughed softly. He looked over to the other three there. He sighed and opened up his computer. His finger flew over the keyboard as he preformed searches, started programs, and did a few other things. He hit enter once last time and any electronic devices the 3 carried suddenly went off in unison.

Markus Ronen closed the programs he was using, saving the results for some. He opened a game for the kid and picked him up, placing him on his knee so he could play. "Ok, so these buttons will allow for the character to move. Up cause him to jump. You will need to jump on the other people's head to get points and move on in the level."

Markus Ronen smiles back. "Your welcome." He waved back as he put the computer back in the messenger. "It was a pleasure. Hopefully, we will run into each other again. Have fun, James. And both of you have a good day." He smiled and nodded back at her. He flipped something in the bag and head for the door. He pulled it open and disappeared after walking out.

Markus Ronen typed in the password to the laptop. The light from the laptop reflected off his sunglasses. He scratched underneath his chin as he placed his order through the interactive menu. After the order was complete, he returned his attention to his laptop. He took a moment before opening a window. After opening the window on the laptop, his hands began to flow over the keyboard quickly. He would occasionally hit the backspace but otherwise they moved with purpose.

He eventually spot for a moment to review what he was doing then resumed typing. If anyone was to peek over his shoulder to figure out what he was doing, it would not be clear unless they knew programming. He was working a new kind of firewall and spider program for security.

Markus yawned as he approached the bar. Rubbing his eyes as he reached the door, he wondered why he was up so early. He pulled the door open and walked inside as his eyes scanned the bar for other customers and where he could set-up. He walked to a table and took a seat.

Placing his laptop bag on the ground, he reached down and opened in. He pulled out a laptop and a mouse. He opened the laptop and pressed the on button. Waiting for the start-up, he reached down into the bag for a moment then closed the bag after he removed his hands. He smiled as the log-in screen appeared. He quickly typed in the password.

He looked over the electronic menu for something that would get him out of his daze.

Blinking as the cry of the falcon filled the room, Markus groaned and mutter quietly to himself, "That is one way to wake me up." He took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he settled on a coke from the bar. He placed his order and waited a few minutes for the drink to appear.

He popped open a few windows on his screen as he began to type quickly with skill that was practiced. He was doing fairly well with a new anti-viral software that he was planning to sell to a few companies till he heard the bird make another cry. He sighed while quickly correcting his mistake. The sound of a glass being knocked over turned his attention away from the computer screen for a moment as he saw a man trying to correct his accidental spilling. He chuckled softly to himself before returning his attention back to his computer screen.
