Name: Mathias Green
Alias: Medic
Description: Medic is 5'10 and he weighs 195 lbs. He is well built and able-bodied. Medic has wild hair that is held above his eyes with a head band. His normal attire is a red and white chest guard made with plated steel. It has his symbol, a cross, etched across the length of it. Despite the very protective top, he is usually wearing jeans underneath with black combat boots.

Personality

Medic is pragmatic and noble. He leads his team with wisdom and guile and always has a mind for 'civilians.' He sometimes forgets about missions because he is always preoccupied with helping those in need. However, in great times of stress he is always clear-headed and calm. His command has never really been second guessed by the members of his team.

Equipment

Equipment:
Plate Armor: a sturdy Breastplate made of steel and very resistant to most man-made weapons.
Two 3.57mm Magnum Revolvers
A Springfield 6.008mm Sniper Rifle

Power:
Convalescence: He can heal most minor and major injuries with a single touch though it drains his energy.
He cannot heal himself but his skin is tougher than most other humans and he is rarely injured by bludgeoning weapons. A gun or sharp implement would do him harm.

History

Mattias Green was once a Lieutenant field medic for the marine corp. A stray bomb left him out of commission for a month and he was sent on leave. He had always had his abilities but it was only after the war that he decided the common people of Wing City needed someone to protect them from the constant evils that pervaded the society. He has been searching for reliable people to join his group, he has humbly named this group The Defenders.

Percussion was added to the group after Mathias saved him from an overdose of alcohol and blood thinners. Percussion has been completely loyal to Mathias ever since. Matt considers Drake to be his best friend.

Mathias Green blinked but let the barbed comment slide. "I guess you're right, this isn't the first time I've been distracted in helping someone. I know its not good for my emotions or my health to help so many people all the the time. But that's just the way I am." He sat down at the table, uninvited or not and took a sip from his DP. "At any rate, I'm sorry I turned my back at you."

Mathias Green sighed to himself after Isabella left. "bye..." he said weakly to the empty table in front of him. He looked around again and tried to focus on the reason that he came here. He was here to look for heroes not ogle girls. He stared at the group of people at the center of the bar, perhaps one of them would join the cause.

Rubble spilled into the alley followed by Mathias Green. He fell from the roof of one of the adjacent buildings and landed near the couple with a clanging thud. He lay there, breathing shallowly and unconscious. Before either of the two could get a word out edge wise they heard the sound of a jet engine roaring by.
There before them stood Percussion, he bent over his leader and tried to pick him up. Then he nearly tumbled over and a large bullet wound in his side was exposed. He knelt to the ground with a sigh. He hadn't noticed the couple.

Mathias Green and Percussionwere just landing in the vicinity when Percussion heard a conversation. "Sounds like someone was expecting us. That must be our contact. The Spy is in our area." Mathias simply nodded and signaled Percussion to dampen the sounds of their foot falls. They looked down on Iokolste from their hidden position on a nearby hill. The contact had led the spy right outside of their hidden bunker.

Mathias took out his sniper and lined sights. "Got it." He fired a single tranq bullet towards the Russian on the beach while Percussion flew off to collect her.

Mathias Green looked over towards his best friend. "That hot head is Percussion and I didn't try to kill you." He opened his revolver and took out a round, "Tranquilizer darts." He wondered how much he could tell her. "We were going to question you and find out why you're here. We were told you were dangerous." [She still could be Matt.] He remained cautious and let his words sink in.

Mathias Green was also confused. "Well, if you're not really bent on destroying Wing City by taking out its most important leaders...then we don't really have a problem with you... "He sighed and put his hand on his friend. He felt the drain as he healed a concussion. "Wow, I didn't know you were hurt buddy." He blinked and felt as if he'd been running for the past 10 minutes. "You good?"

Percussion nodded. "I'm all good now Ma-Medic, thanks." He stood up and eyed Iokolste, "So, are we leaving now?"
