Description

Mia is a petite woman, only 5'1", which is unusual for her Scandinavian background. She is occasionally mistaken for a child, with her cherub like cheeks and full, pouted lips, though that mistake is usually rectified with a glance to her icy jade hues. While her skin is as soft and smooth as it was a thousand years ago, those eyes are so hard and cold that even Hitler would be envious. Her skin is a pale white, an inevitable aftereffect of having to avoid the sun for so long, and she had long since had her hair turned paper white, usually unkempt and wild about her round face. She's pierced her lip through with silver, almost a badge to other vampires of how she enjoys pain, a hint at the monster that lies within. She's fond of darker, contrasting colors, always creating an illusion of black and white with a bright color thrown in for a surprise. Chains, belts, buckles, metals - all is welcome in her wardrobe.

Personality

Mia is truly the epitome of what de Forsythe stands for. She has lost all aspects of whatever little humanity she once had. Oh, she may let you believe she sympathizes with you, but that is really just to play with your sad, silly little mind. She truly, honestly, does not care. She is a sadist, the very definition of it before it was ever defined. The feel of blood running over her skin is the most seductive sensation she can imagine, the feel of her nails biting through flesh, oh so yummy. Most that meet Mia truly do believe she is insane, and they would be quite right. Mia will giggle at something that happened earlier in the day as she carves the word hope into your chest. She'll dance around you with a heart in her hand, taunting you with the details of how she enjoyed your mother oh so much before she killed her. Oh, yes, she can be civil, and knows how to play the game. Age has taught her that, and she has none of the childishness one would expect from her...she just likes to pretend like an insane, demented little girl, simply for the shock factor she knows it brings. Mia doesn't know what the concept of love truly is, has never felt it. Oh, she has fondness for certain people, and would exact revenge if those people were harmed..but they are few and far between.

History

Mia was born in 887 A.D., on a ship in the middle of the northern Scandinavian seas. She was born into the warlike Viking culture, the daughter to the chief of one of the many Viking clans. She was a small child, as is evident now, but beautiful, and the beauty of women in that time was cherished almost as much as war. She was named Mia, gem of the sea, by her father, and handed off to the women to raise. Mia grew up well in this life, embracing it fully, loving her father and all the jewels he heaped upon her. She was his trophy, his symbol to all others of his success.
This symbol of beauty and treasure caught many of the other clans attention, including ones her father didn't intend. The vampire clan de Forsythe saw Mia, and saw the potential in her glittering jade eyes. Saw the potential in her carriage, in her easy disposal of her own younger sister as a rival to her beauty. Saw her cruelty, and her cold, glittering, inviting beauty. They wanted her, and so they did what the Forsythe clan is known to do - they took her. Running wildly through the camp at night, they murdered and raped and ravaged all they came across, save the one little angelic looking girl, picking her up almost gently and carrying her to the clan leader. There, she was turned, a process that took several days, by the most powerful of the Forsythe clan living at the time, Rakel.
Once turned into her new life, Mia quickly forgot her previous humanity. She still retained an affinity for the seas, the lifestyle change really wasn't too abrupt for her. The Vikings and the Forsythes had similar values; meaning, literally none. As the ages wore on, the clan participated in the wars, reveled in the bloodshed, and Mia rose through the ranks. Mia developed what her fellows fondly called her poison touch, and many deemed it an appropriate ability when taking into account her affinity for torture. It became commonly used upon her victim, and she relished in watching her victims scream and writhe in agony as they watched parts of themselves wither and die. In 1559, a vampire hunter managed to kill her creator, Rakel. As is the policy of the Forsythe clan, Mia battled all challengers for the position, and eventually claimed her position as a council member, and leader of the Forsythe clan.

Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.
