The orb, as well as all Demiarchals who were not building the wall, would look upwards as the first loud scream from the jet's engines would rip through the valley. Then there was another scream from the jet, and the Demiarchal's stare wouldn't cease. After the jet seemed to be gone, the area would become very hectic for the new few days.

The foremans over the wall construction began to yell, "Demiarchals!! We have been greeted by someone in the sky. It's time to move it!! Get your asses to it and give it all you have! We have to get these walls done!!"

Over in the distance, near the vortex, Deminaughts were discussing what they would do military wise. They all came to the same conclusion, to prepare for the worst. Three of the Deminaughts would enter the portal, disappearing for a matter of minutes. While they were through the vortex, the trucks containing the remainder of the materials for the wall would come through. Along with these material transports were transport vehicles containing and estimated twenty work Demiarchals.

When all the material trucks and new additions of workers for the wall were through, they would immediately unload. Unloading the traffic jam of transports would move rather quickly due to the additional sixty workers. When the last transport canister was unloaded, all the transports would take off like a stampede, rushing back for the vortex.

One of the foremans would meet with the supply transports as he waited for his chance to leave, "Who in the hell told you to bring all that shit in now?! You just took up all our room. It's going to be almost impossible to navigate this mess!"

The driver returned, "Deminaught Command Center took control of supply transport. They said all materials and equipment needed out because they were directing the vortex to a military base or something...anyways, you all better hurry. Who know's why whatever they were talking about flew over."

"Damn jet! Just had to fly over and spook everyone. Now we gotta bust our ass for a 'just in case' situation..." The foreman spoke.

The driver laughed and finally pulled out, being the last transport in line. When all the transports were through, the three Deminaughts would exit the vortex. Behind these Deminaughts, large transports, seven to be exact, decorated in a crimson camouflage, would exit, carrying thirty soldiers each. Behind these transports were different pieces of armor.

The first large pieces of military armor was nine GT - Arachnids. Following this was nine BN - Hex Shields. Fourteen BN - Diablos would then roll through followed up by about twenty two BN - Wolverines. About six BN - Corruptions would exit, followed by six GT - Duck Hunters.

All the military armor and soldiers would take formations as they waited for the remainder of the equipment to come through. Four military supply mass transports would exit, having four transport canisters behind them. Smaller vehicles containing six workers and tools would follow these transports. When the transports reached their spots, the laborers would unload these military transports, which would contain weaponry, surveillance tech, building supplies, and one even contained some sort of black armored creature that looked like wolves, and at certain points on the body, would look like a purple stone that would glow. This transport would be greeted by troops once the laborers opened it and unloaded.

The military aspect of this base would now begin. Large drills would begin tunneling into the ground at different points. Around these tunnels, the Demiarchals would begin their construction of the military aspect. Whatever they were doing at this point would be underground, and shortly, the holes would be hidden by armored military structures.

The construction on the walls was moving very fast due to the excess of laborers. The steel work was about 67% complete. With this, the masonry decided to begin work again since the steel work was much above their heads. While the wall was being built, more scaffold was going up. On the bottom, the laborers and soldiers would begin installing the military equipment that was previously delivered. This was mainly surveillance, turrets, and cannons that would be installed in the wall.

The orb would move to one of the Deminaughts, "We're going to have to make this happen. Maybe they were peaceful, but we have to be cautious."

The Deminaught chided back, "If the jet only flew across once, I wouldn't worry. But like us, there's only one reason to fly over something more than once; you saw something. I'm hoping that whatever is yelling up there is for us."

The orb glowed a bit, "That is Merek. He will be assisting us in building this base and training a new force. Demigrem must find this situation more vital than even I thought."

The Deminaught responded, "Yes, if he sent two, then we need to be ready. I'll go through and have them to prepare the industrial military buildings. We need to start producing equipment if we want to have a chance at survival here because I really don't think whoever it is will welcome us."

"You are right. While you have them prepare, have them ready a few small BN air ships ready. Doesn't matter which ones, just something for air communication to keep them from coming to the ground without warning." The orb responded.

The Deminaught would salute and slightly bow to the orb before he would rush through the vortex. Construction production increased rapidly, taking what was planned for a three month construction complete date, would now have to be completed in a matter of a couple weeks. For now, the Demiarch settlement would work their asses off to get this done. They didn't know whether they were welcomed or not, but they knew they had been spotted, and they had work to do.

The Singular Apollo fighter banked hard for another pass, until the Copilot noticed an alarm, and a flickering beacon.

"Sir, we have an incoming missile!" The Copilot screamed, while the Pilot nodded.

"I see it..." He said, banking the Apollo sharply to the right. "Hit the countermeasures and go full burn! We're falling back!"

The Pilot grabbed the control stick as Merek began to rapidly gain on the aircraft. "Activating stealth countermeasures." The Copilot said, while refractive panels on the Apollo began to bend the light with a magnetic field, the Apollo began to shimmer like sunlight on water, before it disappeared entirely. A moment later it's afterburners kicked in, and the craft rapidly began to climb at supersonic speeds.

Before Merek could level his attack on the singular fighter; it would vanish.

AHSC Reverence II Litany of Fury
The Fringes of the Blackrock System
Commander Amelia Montrose

Commander Montrose watched in silence as the photos and video from the Apollo scrolled across her command display interface. The organized chaos of a Reverence II's CIC buzzed about around her, while she navigated through the pictures with swift hand gestures.

"Interesting." She said as she swiped to another picture.

"An Alien civilization is constructing some kind of colony on Blackrock." She said, turning to her XO, whom offered a slight nod.

"All hands report they're ready for jump." The XO reported, and Montrose nodded.

"Alright, let's roll." She said, bringing up the shipboard AI. "AI, Set FTL course to Blackrock, situate us in high orbit, and then put us above the alien settlement." She said, before she picked up the intercom, her slender fingers wrapping around the microphone.

"All hands, action stations!" She called out, before she seated the device back into it's receptacle, it was then the lights dimmed to red, and the entire Reverence II came to life, with personnel going to their stations, bringing the ship to combat readiness. The Alarms began to klaxxon all throughout the ship before she nodded to the AI.

"Jump."

It was a few moments, Amelia could feel her stomach knot up before there was a lapse, and everything began to level out.

"Commander, we've arrived at the target designation."

----
Blackrock
Demiarchal Colony

For those on the surface, the Reverence II's arrival was signaled with a deafening crack, roughly an hour after the small fighter had been sighted, the massive 30km long Reverence II jumped into the skies of Blackrock above the Demiarchals settlement.

The sheer size of this ship was enough to instill fear in even the mightiest of commanders, as she stretched nearly completely across the sky, and her size completely blotted out the sun as it cast a dark shadow over the Demiarchal colony.

The Reverence II slowly settled itself into the upper atmosphere, while Commander Montrose was overseeing a three-dimensional hologram of the city below, the AI highlighting points of interest, while the tunnels below were revealed through high-powered sensors mounted on the Reverence.

"Shields up, full power, all weapons batteries should consider their targets, but do not fire." Montrose ordered, before she brought up a large display.

"Broadcast a transmission on all frequencies." She ordered, but was promptly interrupted by a Lieutenant.

"Sir! Ground teams are assembled and ready for gravity lift deployment, CAG reports all bombers are ready for launch." He said, saluting, while Montrose nodded.

"Very good, return to your station."

"Commander, we're broadcasting on all channels." The AI reported.

"Very good.. alright, bring me up." She said, and the AI nodded, while the Commander began to speak.

"Attention unidentified alien colonists, this is the Litany of Fury, this world is under the jurisdiction of the United Aschen Empire, identify yourselves and explain why you have trespassed upon this world. You have thirty seconds to reply or we will commence military operations to remove you from this planet."

"Sir, i'm detecting some kind of transportation vortices throughout the colony." The AI reported, and Montrose nodded. "Calibrate the Jump inhibitor and the Planck Packs, shut it down."

The AI nodded, and the Reverence began to power up it's Inhibitors, a few moments later a powerful field surged fourth from the ship above, the Planar stabilization field would likely prevent teleportation, be it magical, or technological. This would be evidenced by the Demiarchals vortex being shut down, and forced to collapse which would effectively cut them off from their source until either the ship was destroyed, or the Aschen deactivated the field.

The field was powerful, and would likely overcome even the most powerful attempts to reopen a vortex, for the stronger the energy, it seemed the stronger the field would become, stabilizing everything on the quantum level, and preventing everything from teleportation, to full fledged Hyperspace jumps.

Immediately following the engagement of Aschen Inhibitors, the massive turbo-disruptor batteries on the underside of the ship began to traverse, swiveling on their emplacements to bear down onto the city below, each turbo-disruptor at full power carried enough energy to flatten entire city blocks, and with 750 of these massive batteries on the ventral side of the ship, it could level staggering firepower onto the city below in a very short period of time.

Lastly, a flash appeared on the bow of the vessel, and a milky white barrier flashed from bow to stern, before completely vanishing, obfuscating attempts to scan the ship. The Ship's massive shields were up at full power.

There was silence save for the low rumble of the ship's engines, and the threatening tone of Commander Montrose's Transmission.

There was silence on the Bridge too, as Montrose awaited a reply, her hand hovering over the city as she selected targets.

Merek cursed himself as he flew past the ship without even scraping it's hull with either his sword or the sickle like pick. The demi god also did not plan for his landing which he didn't seem too worried about as he was rushed towards the ground in a blaming ball of fire. Instead of merely hitting the ground and causing the crater before him he whispered a few incomprehensible sounds which he wasn't even sure they would work but had heard Aeson do such the same thing in the past. His movement began to slow enough and when finally contacting the ground he merely skidded a few hundred feet leaving a deep gash in the sand from where his sword acted as an anchor.

His armor remained intact from the magical barrier, with his body staying together pretty well from the hasty crash. He stood up sheathing the sword with the sickle pick dissipating in his hands.

"Here I was thinking that would work entirely too well. Maybe I can create wings now and fly hopefully. Still is a shame these technologically advanced races can beat us." Merek finished brushing himself off before looking around and finally turning to look at the city.

"I better start running if I wanna get here in time for this fight." His gaze had also shifted to the ship that now hovered up above the city.

Merek's pace was anything but normal as he took off leaving behind him a trail of dust and sand his legs kicked up as he seemed to fly towards the city. By time he reached the city and walls being constructed he didn't even notice the vortex being shut down. The man didn't even bother to use a door as he simply jumped over the wall in a feat of inhuman strength.

The landing on the opposite side of the wall ended in a small crater with Merek in a kneeling position in the crimson blood plated armor with white trim. He looked quite the warrior and leader though he wasn't much of the latter as he stood up his swords sheathed and the shield strapped firmly on his back.

"Son of a mother fucking bitch" cursed Jacob as he watched the world around him almost literally go to hell. First, the scout fighter came out of nowhere, then the elf ran off, next came the unknown fighter, booming off a challenge. But the straw that broke the captains back was the sudden appearance of a large capital ship appearing over head. He looked at the colony and took a deep breath. He looked at Lysa, till tied to his palm, and asked "Any thing, Lysa?", the Astil artifact hummed for a moment, her own tune, and spoke "My best estimates put it at a battle cruiser class ship or maybe a planetary assault ship, basically a vary large, vary heavily armed, ship of the line. Think is size alone would be just a bit much for you take out, also, im getting some type of hybrid elemental/technological field that's stopping me from creating any portals, I could still jump us back home, but they would see the energy surge and would most likely kill us with the sheer amount of guns on its underside." Jacob grimaced and spoke again, "Do you think you could get me into the sips internal coms?", The Grimorie worked her magic, forcing it way through the ship magical barrier, which was admit ably hard, but her being an Astil artifact, shoe could work through most magic. "Im in, your on when your ready". "Good, maybe I can talk some sense in to these people." He lifted up the watch to his face and spoke, waving his other arm in a gesture he hoped one of the gun cams on the underside of the ship would see.

"Attention Litany of Fury, this is a stand down call and a call of Pease, we mean no harm, please for the ever-loving hell stand your guns down and hear me the hell out. I am Demiarchal Warren, reprehensive of the Demimarch empire here on this...for lack of a better term, rock that is Blackrock, Please respond, over"
