Mikael drifted through the street, a hood draped lazily over his head and his hands buried within his pockets. His unkept hair fell in layers, dirty blonde strands across his forehead. The imprint of his badge pressed through the thin fabric of his shirt.

Wing city was a radically different place once shadow was cast across it's landscape. The people you'd find roaming the streets would be either monsters of the night or human's foolish enough to think they stood a chance against them. Mikael wasnt quite sure which he was.

He'd pause before a man who'd been making covert transactions most of the night, passing small bags in exchange for folded currency. The officer had been surveying him through his last few transactions, making certain that the man was what he suspected him to be.

Mikael eventually addressed the man, joining him and his unscrupulous practice. "A dime." Mikael reached into his pocket, folding a bill into his palm and lifting his hand to meet the other man's. Once he received the pint sized bag, he held it beneath the street light. "This isn't what I usually get from you." Mikael's voice wreaked of a foreignness. "It's better." The other quipped before returning to other affairs. Mikael nodded before disappearing down the street.

Mikael turned, gazing over his shoulder. He slipped the bag into his back pocket before tugging at the chain that kept his badge hung from around his neck. He shifted until the composition of copper and faux gold fell over his shirt. "WCPD. Just here clearing the streets." He answered calmly, managing to keep his composer.

That is, before he noted the transaction.

"That's none of your concern, now get a move on." His words were audible, yet it was clear he hadn't mastered the language he now spoke.

Mikael furrowed a brow, pulling the hood down to rest against his neck. "No sir, you're not doing anything wrong. But I wouldnt suggest sticking around these parts at night. Get's dangerous."

Mikael slipped his hand into his pocket, tensing around the small bag. His fingers rifled through its contents. "It's official WCPD buisness, I cant discuss it. Apologies."

The officer lifted his hand, rubbing at the area beneath his eyes. The drugs had taken a toll on him, as did the drinking and apparent lack of sleep. Mikael was somewhat adept at keeping his composer in such situations, though his state highly impaired his ability to serve his duty to the highest of his capabilities. In short; He wasn't doing the WCPD any favors.

"None taken." Mikael narrowed his eyes, attempting to better take in the figure that approached him.

"I dont go at anything. I'm not the one making the decisions, just doing my job." Mikael rose his arm, coughing heavily into the crease of his inner elbow. "Yeah, somethings going around I guess." He narrowed his eyes. This man was now fool, but hopefully he'd not care enough to report the officer.

Then again, even if he did, all this chaos would cloud his actions pretty well. "I just do what they tell me to do."

At last, Mikael noticed the streaks of blood drawn across his momentary companion. He rubbed at his eyes slowly, watching him for a moment more before he spoke. "Are you ok, sir? You seem to be..." He motioned towards the stains. "Do you need to go to the hospital?"

It took a moment for all the information to process. Layers of drugs and alcohol mucked the waters in terms of his perception. But as soon as Mikael realized the ramifications of nathaniel's statement, the officers gun was out and pointing at the man. "Don't move."

"Listen bud, you're covered in blood and you've just admitted to murder. I doubt you stuck around to file a report, either. So Imah take you down to the station and we'll figure out what to do with you there."

The pistol remained, pointing at Nathaniel.

Mikael motioned for him to turn. "Hands behind your back." He moved to place a pair of handcuffs over Nathaniel's hands. As he did so, he briefly considered what his superiors would thing if they saw him like this. Would they notice? Would it be worth the risk that they did? Mikael shook his head, attempting to chase the thoughts from his head.

Mikael shook his head. "Oh come on, just sit down. Let me figure this out." Mikael tried to force him to sit on the curb before turning his back to the man. He holstered his gun, rubbing at his forhead. He didnt quite know how to handle sucha situation.

Mikael pulled his gun once more, spinning and pressing the barrel of the short revolver against Nathaniel's head. "Quiet down. For christs sake, close your mouth for one god damn minute." The officer reached for the back of his belt, pulling a small radio from his waist. He pressed it against his lips, pausing for a moment before speaking. "I need some backup." He continued on, communicating his cordinates. "Hurry up, Im off duty and dont want to spend the entire night here."

Mikael opened his mouth to speak, yet he decided to remain silent. He holstered his gun, turning to face the long expanse of road. He waited, foot tapping nervously. Finally, the sirens would be his relief. He lifted the radio against his cheek once more, pressing it on before pressing it against his lips.

"Second suspect on the run. Pursuing." He clipped the radio back against his belt, giving one last look to Nathaniel before taking off in the direction opposite to the sirens.

Mikael exited the Police Department, nodding towards a fellow officer as he did so. His large rimmed sun glasses managed to mask his bloodshot eyes well, and no one would be able to spot his overtly dilated pupils. He walked confidently, a donut clasped between his teeth as his hands remained burried in his pockets. He wore a black WCPD tshirt and a pair of dark tinted jeans. A pair of untied boots were all the footwear he needed.

He pulled the door open, cassually sliding in beside Finch. He flashed him a smile before slamming the door shut. "You got a coffee mug?"

"Ah, Detective Greene. Cool name." The pastry fell from his mouth, landing on his lap. He stared at it for a moment, expression somber. So much so as if he'd just lost a close friend. He looked towards it for a few more seconds before opening the car door and knocking it onto the floor with his knee. He closed it once again, one hand sitll resting within his pocket. He struggled for a few moments before retrieving his hand and holding it over the center console. A small moutain of white powder rested in his hand.

"Now about that mug." Taylor smiled, flashing his pearly whites. Damn was he handsome. Too handsome to be a cop, that was for sure. "Names Mikael. Like, Mic-Ale." He sounded it out real slow to be sure that the officer understood.

Mikael frowned, gazing back at the snowy pile of dust resting in his palm. He briefly considered putting it to use now, but surely that much would be far too much for any human. So instead, he reached into his back pocket and pulled out from it the baseball cap that had been sitting, creased, beneath him. He empty the cocaine into the at before placing it at his feet.

"Hmm, lets go down town. Place called 'Lair' or 'Lare. Something stupid like that."

Mikael stared at the white coating of his land, occasionally bringing it against his nose and inhaling. It seemed that he didn't even realize the other officer was still in the car. Only when he was spoken to did he turn to face him. "Nope and nope. I'm a transfer. Lucky enough to get moved here. Good ole Wing City, aye?"

Suddenly, Mikael became erotic. He reached over, grabbing the steering wheel and shifting it to the right. "No no, wait, stop here."

"Right here, I need to get something." Mikael pushed the door open, shimming between two parked cards and darting into a building that seemed harmless enough. A few minutes would pass before Finn got a call. "Just getting some things, hold tight Blue. Or was it Yellow? Ill be right out, lavender." Fifteen minutes or so later, Mikael would burst back into the car, a brown bag beneath his fingers and a shower and fresh change of clothes masking his former aroma. He outfit was much of the same, just a bit cleaner this time. "You're going like that?" Mikael motioned towards the officer before shruging. 'Aye, if thats your style."

Mikael was still rather groggy. His vision had cleared up, yet the residual effects of the drugs and alcohol still played games with his perception. He hadn't planned on visiting the station today; Under the circumstances of his transfer and the chaos that plagued Terra because of the war, it seemed as though no one really paid any attention to the officers existence. He had spent the majority of his time in Wing City out of uniform and out of sight. Though he'd made an impressive amount of arrests, most of them being the result of his own drug deals going awry. In short, he'd slipped just beneath anyone's radar.

Yet, today he was notified that the man he arrested was scheduled for interrogation and he didn't care to see if he could get away with missing that. In addition, dropping by would allow him the opportunity to falsify a police report to account for the missing narcotics from the evidence locker.

Plus, free donuts.

Mikael looped a strawberry-frosted donut onto his finger and made his way into into the integration room. He placed it between his teeth once he'd entered, gazing into the criminal end of the one way window as he adjust his hair and examined the stubble poking out from beneath his chin. Finally, he turned to face the ongoing interrogation. He pulled the pastry from his mouth as he quietly spectated.

Mikael narrowed his eyes; Man, this kid looked a lot less terrifying without all the drugs.

"You've got anyone who can back up your story? We're not in the business of taking the word of men who looked like they've bathed in a bucket of blood."
