Mikaiela Surris shook her head and scowled.
She seemed furious as she pointed at the shelf again, her hand shooting up to fix glasses non-existent.

Mikaiela Surris was thinking for the longest time, and eventually signed back, very expertly,

Mikaiela Surris took the blue bottle and left payment, then proceed to have a bit of it in a glass before she scanned the latest patrons in the bar with caution.
Mikaiela Surris stared at Zekil for a moment, her eyes having a very studious and intensive look in them, as if she was studying him. She did take another sip of the bottle of liquor she had obtained however.
Mikaiela Surris entered the bar this morning. Marsailles was still asleep, so it was just Mikaiela right now. She simply grew restless sitting around waiting for her friend, and decided to get a headstart, leaving a message for the sleeping girl.
Inside the bar, she noticed the few patrons, and noticed a bottle of a red liquid. Now intrigued, she made her way to Adrian and stood to his right, looking expectantly at him.

Mikaiela Surris continued looking at Adrian, her smile disappearing, replaced by a rather neutral gaze. Her eyes moved to the bottle, and back to him, as if trying to convey to him her question.
Mikaiela Surris saw his mouth moving, that was sure. She didn't respond though. Seeing the young girl act possessive of it made her raise an eyebrow, making her scowl a bit too. Her hand shot up to fix glasses that weren't there.
Mikaiela Surris scowled further. She really didn't like being ignored. With a notably audible huff, she turned to the counter and waited to see if a bartender would notice.
Mikaiela Surris took the piece of paper and wrote something down upon it before handing it back to Zekil.
[One glass of water please.]
Mikaiela Surris took the glass and drank a bit of the water it contained, although she was quick to glance at Adrian again. His mouth moved, and that bartender's mouth was also moving! She was super curious now.
Mikaiela Surris saw his mouth move, and had no clue what he said. Her look was on him, expectant. She said nothing in return.
Mikaiela Surris looked at the note and wrote back.
She then finished the glass of water, and left the bar. Marsailles had to be up by now, and they had shopping to do still!

The setting changes from Gambit's Bar to Dark Woods
Mikaiela Surris was taking her daily walk through the woods, although for her, it was more of aimless wandering for exercise then anything meaningful. Marsailles still had to get ready for stuff, so she was killing time in light of that.
The woods were really a different place for her than would be expected for anyone, simply because she was unable to appreciate one aspect of it that many would take for granted, although this fact mostly eluded her as she wandered.

Mikaiela continued wandering, not noticing anything else at the moment as she stopped to observe a tree. She moved a hand up to fix her hair and her hat before giving the tree a smile, then a scowl, and then a few other facial expressions. Almost as if she was practicing or something.
Mikaiela Surris didn't quite fall over. In fact, Abbie was likely the one who'd fall over instead, but Mikaiela did stumble a bit. She regained her composure and turned to scold at the girl who had run into her. Her mouth opened as if she was to speak, however, no sound came out. Rather, she glared and positioned both her arms behind her back, her scowl focused on Abbie, the scowl giving a "Watch where you're going punk!" vibe.
Mikaiela Surris only saw a moving mouth. She did not understand a single word spoken, but noticed the body language and smiled, giving Abbie a blithe look, as if accepting some kind of apology that she was assuming was spoken. She then switched to a fixed expression, as if expecting something from the girl.
Mikaiela Surris gave Abbie a quizzed look. She then responded in American Sign Language that was proper and exact, with no fudge or errors. Some of the words might have been beyond Abbie's comprehension, but were all signed with intensity and conversational speed.
She then expectantly awaited a reply.
[You seem to be ??? out of practice, as I only understood "American Sign Language? I'm a bit..." and "...most of the signs". That simply won't do. I take it you don't employ ??? with it often?]
