Description

Species : Human (elemental mage - Water based.)

Age : 22 (Though he is very mature for his age.)

Height : 5'10

Eye Shade : A deep, oceanic blue and should a person look closely, the iris will seem to swirl about his pupils, mirroring a wave on the open seas.

Build : As a mage, he has little in the way of muscles apart from some pleasant toning he gained throughout his almost constant cleaning. His figure is slender though not too tall, however his height does not concern him.

Attire : His clothing was made to fit his form, crafted by the finest tailors Paris had to offer. In consists of a fine black dress shirt with slight frills along the center, broad cuffs that often find themselves (carefully, of course) folded upward to allow easier cleaning. His trousers are the same color and are basic, straight-legged leggings, finished off with shiny, always polished shoes.
On occasion he will wear a pair of black gloves, if he is serving for example.
His hair is always neatly combed to frame his rather handsome face, the blackish locks slightly flared above his shoulder they seem to glitter blue in the light.

Personality

Mile's persona can be summed up in two words; Clean and polite.

He values both these things above all else, doing his utmost to keep everyone happy, well-fed and watered while maintaining the high (very high) standard of appearance that he applies to himself. Likewise he believes that politeness goes a long way, and addresses people always as 'Sir' or 'Miss'.

(More to come.)

So begins...

Miles Roux was bustling about in the kitchen, several loud bangs and clatters coming from the room as well as the occasional sound of a large amount of running water. After a moment Miles pushed open the door, letting it swing to and fro as he stepped out into the main room, blinking around with his brilliant blue eyes.

His black attire was neatly pressed, made to fit his figure perfect and his brushed some dust off a shoulder before speaking in an accent hinting to his french background. "Who was in the kitchen last, please? It is something of a... Of a..." He trailed off, eyes darting between the many glasses and cups that were being held and drank, but one thing was missing.

"Oh my goodness... Coasters! Mats!" He exclaimed, hurrying to the counter to whip out several small round, black coasters, flitting between the groups who had drinks. "Pardon me." "Excuse me, Sir." He offered as he slid a mat beneath each drink, sighing heavily once he was done.

Miles Roux smiled politely to Iante, bowing the upper half of his body. "No apologies are needed, Sir... Please, enjoy your drink... I am sorry for interrupting you both." He then offered another bow to Cyrus before walking back to hover near a wall, out of the way of the patrons, glittering eyes flicking from person to person, should anyone need assistance.

Miles Roux sighed quietly and brushed a strand of blackish hair back from his features, the strands glittering a slight blue in the light as he continued to observe those in the bar, an eyebrow arching as he noted the wide array of species inside. "How very intriguing." he mused to himself, tilting his head to one side as he clasped his hands together behind his back.

"Perhaps I should go back and tend to the kitchen... It is in a terrible state..." He continued to think out loud, turning slowly to the kitchen door.

Miles Roux nodded slowly and made his way into the kitchen, several bangs once again coming from the room, the sounds of water running loudly before he came back out. His hands would be raised in front of him, a sphere of water hovering between his palms, a great deal of dirt and grime inside the sphere. "This is terrible... So dirty." He mumbled as he made his way to the sink behind the counter. He knew that he shouldn't really be there, however the bar really was dirty... With another sigh he allowed the dirty water to splash into the sink, brushing down his black dress suit as he turned and walked back out from behind the bar.

"One less spot of grime to be concerned about." He huffed quietly, a hand moving to tap idly against his cheek, tilting his head to one side. "What now...?" He questioned, lifting an eyebrow as he tucked his hair behind his ears.

Miles Roux blinked slowly at the woman who made an order, a nagging in his mind causing him to shuffle where he stood. There was no one behind the bar, what if the woman never received her drink? His eyes flicked around in case anyone seemed to be moving to tend to her, and upon seeing no one doing so he sighed and walked briskly behind the counter. "Apologies for the wait." He said politely, bowing his head lightly.

He was somewhat nervous about serving when technically he shouldn't, but then there was no one else... With a shake of the head he took the few seconds to prepare her choice drink, placing the glass upon a coaster in front of the woman. "Please enjoy your drink." He then swiftly moved out from behind the bar in case someone saw him and scolded him, the blue in his eyes seeming to drift within his pupils.

Miles Roux blinked slowly at the woman who seemed terribly miserable at the bar, tilting his head to one side, eyes showing some concern. He wouldn't say anything however, as he didn't wish to seem rude by interrupting her thoughts.

His gaze then slowly drifted back to the kitchen, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "I am going to have to short out that kitchen..." He mumbled, the thought of the mess nagging at his mind, and he would have moved into said room, were it not for Scarlet approaching him.

"Oh... No, Miss. Technically I do not work here... But I simply could not stand and watch your drink never be made for you..." He bowed his head slightly. "My apologies, perhaps I should not have served you..." He smiled politely, the deep blue in his eyes seeming to swim as if it were water.

Miles Roux smiled rather happily at the compliment, hands moving to smooth down the front of his shirt out of embarrassed and nervous habit. "Well I am unsure who to speak to about an occupation... But perhaps I should inquire." He paused to bow before adding. "Thank you very much for your kind words, Miss."

He then tilted his head to one side, a curious expression on his features. "Oh? Is this establishment popular? I have only been here once before so... I do not know the... The area..." The final two words were quieter than the rest as he heard the rather depressed looking woman make an order, letting out a small sigh of relief as it was made. "Oh good... I don't need to make another sneaky trip behind the bar." He chuckled quietly, looking briefly at the tender, making a mental note to ask where he bought the suit at some point in the future.

Miles Roux 's waiter sense seemed to be tingling as a rather loud crash came from the kitchen, followed by a panicked series of mumblings that were muffled but several words could be heard. "Oh dear... No one there... Terrible mess..." To name a few before the young man bustled from the room, moving hurriedly to stand behind the bar, that nagging knowledge that he wasn't supposed to be there being pushed aside by his unwillingness to see a patron un-served.

"Apologies for the wait Sir." He said politely to Deitrich, bowing his head deeply to emphasize just how sorry he was. "Please, what would you like this evening?" He added, placing a small smile upon his features as he waited.

Miles Roux didn't seem intimidated by the hissing tone nor the stern gaze of the one he was serving as he simply bowed his head. "Of course, Sir." He then turned and reached for the appropriate bottle, pouring it neatly into a glass before placing it in front of the man (atop a coaster of course). Miles then smoothed down the front of his black dress shirt, pausing before speaking again. "Is there anything else I can help you with, Sir?"

Miles Roux merely blinked and tilted his head slightly to one side in curiosity at the pointed teeth and forked tongue, being made even more confused at the odd request for his name; he was a simple waiter and had never been asked such a thing during his work. However, it would be terribly rude to ignore a request and so Miles bowed his head, speaking in a clear and polite tone. "Of course Sir... My name is Miles Roux." He straightened up then, looking at the man's drink.

"I hope that you drink is in order, Sir? Once again I deeply apologize for the wait."

Miles Roux blinked slowly, the blue iris of his eyes seeming to shift and waver as though it were water at the probing questions. After several moments of silence he sighed quietly, looking downward as he again smoothed down the front of his shirt. "Technically, no... I do not work here Sir. I had hoped to inquire about a position but..." He frowned a disapproving frown, glancing briefly about the bar before returning his odd gaze to the man. "There never seems to be anyone who I can speak to on the matter... I apologize for... Misleading you. I simply dislike watching a patron go un-served." He smiled slightly before tilting is head, a curious expression coming to is features as he unconsciously bent forward to get a closer look.

"I... have a question for you also, if I may be so bold as to ask?" As he spoke he made his way smoothly out from behind the bar, taking a seat at the counter a respectful distance from the man, his posture perfect and poised.

Miles Roux backed into the main area of the bar from the kitchen door, hands being raised in front of himself, palms inward facing as a large bubble of water hovered in the air between them, dirt and grime visible in its blue depths. "Filthy... Whoever was last in that kitchen should be ashamed..." He shook his head slowly, moving behind the counter to allow the water to splash into the sink.

With a heavy sigh he turned to face the bar, a hand lifting to idly flick back a strand of black hair from his handsome features before he brushed off a small spec of dust from his shoulder, eyes narrowing as he did so. "It is so difficult to keep clean." He said quietly, accent hinting to his French background.

Once he deemed himself a fit state he smoothed down the front of his black dress shirt, straightening his back to stand in a perfect, poised manner before walking gracefully out from behind the bar, technically not yet a worker... It did so get to him however, when patrons remained un-served.

Miles Roux closed his eyes in thought as he allowed his slender figure to tilt backwards, resting lightly against a wall, pondering what he should do next. He wasn't a worker of the bar and so could not serve without feeling terribly guilty, and yet he felt that it would not be right of him to relax, perhaps have a seat while there were those who would wish to be served.

A frown came to his lips as he shifted his weight from foot to foot, eyes of the deepest blue opening, drifting slowly over the others in the room. "Oh Miles..." He scolded himself quietly, shaking his head. "You must stop fretting so much... Sit down." He ordered himself, nodding before he made his way to an empty table, sitting with a small sigh.

His posture was somewhat rigid as he found it difficult to relax at the best of times, let alone when he had failed to serve anyone. With a small sigh Miles hung his head, feeling rather ashamed of himself.

Miles Roux slid the black gloves from his hands, sighing quietly as he tucked them into his breast pocket, again brushing the shoulder of his shirt before turning his gaze to those in the room. To any who looked close enough the blue iris of his eyes would seem to drift and sway as though mimicking the water he had such an affinity for and soon his eyes moved back to the table he was sitting at, sighing once again.

He raised his hands in the same manner as before, bringing together the moisture in the air to gradually form a second large floating sphere of water, slowly bringing his hands closer until they broke its surface. Evidently Miles had a 'thing' for cleanliness as he then focused intently on washing his hands, doing so for several minutes before he decided he was clean enough.

He then brought his hands below the sphere, nudging it upward slightly, causing it to fade away, returning the moisture to the air before returning his odd gaze back to the room at large.

Miles Roux bustled into the bar from the kitchen, his arms filled with a large number of teetering, recently cleaned glasses which he carried with very careful steps; he'd never forgive himself if he dropped anything. Once he reached the counter he placed them upon the surface, turning to the room and lifting a dark eyebrow.

"One of the less busy times, I assume..." He mused to himself, lightly shrugging his shoulders and brushing down the front of his black dress shirt before turning to the glasses and beginning to put the neatly away into various cupboards and shelves.

Miles Roux finished placing the glasses away and sighed happily, examining the arrangement critically before nodding, apparently satisfied. He then turned back to the room, leaning lightly against the counter as he waited for any order to be placed.

Miles Roux walked briskly to Sophia, looking slightly confused for a moment before bowing his head respectfully. "As you like, Miss." He then bustled about gathers the three drinks, placing whiskey, cider and finally the tea before the woman. "Please, enjoy the drinks." he bowed once again.

Miles Roux continued to watch the woman with a very slight frown upon his lips. The concern he felt for one of his customers grew as she briefly glanced away to look around the room at the others in the bar. He lifted a gloved hand and straightened his already perfectly straight tie before speaking once again. "Well if it is not too bold of me to say... Would you care for some company, Miss?" He offered her a polite and professional smile. "I have just finished my cleaning, and as such have little to do... And I would be delighted to converse with you, if you would allow me to."

He was curious about the topic of someone being beyond her reach, his naturally inquisitive nature compelling him to ask about the matter, however his professional attitude far outweighed this and he would remain standing smartly until he was either given permission to sit or asked to leave. Whatever the response the young man would not be offended... He was never offended.
