Description

Molly
Image
Molly is the more modest and less bloodthirsty of the Molly and Karato. When she's 'fighting' she is all business, otherwise, she's all play.

Alias. Well, I get called Host a lot. My inhabitant refused to use my name. I also get calls Molls.
Age. 20
Gender. Female, thank goodness. I'd hate to share a body with someone of the opposite gender, after all.
Height. Taller than many males actually. I'm six foot, three inches.
Build. Lightly muscles and athletic
Species. Human

Personal History

The worst of it happened when I was seven. There was this girl, who lived right across from where my street began. We played a lot as kids, since we were the only girls our age in the neighborhood. Normally, she was definitely in charge. I didn't know she came from a long line of demon hunters. I also didn't know I lived on this fault that kind of blended the demon and human worlds.

I mean I had seen shadows and shapes, and even actual forms sometimes, but I always wrote it off as my imagination. Mine has always been active enough it was a believable excuse.

One day, she just sort of...died.

No one was certain how. The doctors said her heart failed.

Heart Failure. Isn't that how most of us die? It seemed empty.

It wasn't even a week later hat my best friend and I felt this rush of power, and suddenly those vague shapes were much more clear. But only when we were together. Clearly our imaginations were just too strong, right?

So what if we could now call up these shining balls of energy in our hands. Obviously, it was just pretend. People couldn't do that.

My inhabitant is right. We were little fools.

We didn't have our roles figured out yet when the attack came. A week was not nearly long enough to figure things like this out, not when you were seven. And I always was a protective, if precarious child. It was horrifying this blood covered face launching attack after attack at my friend and I. I defended her the best I could.

When we finally stood still, to make out stand, words began to tumble from our lips, and our hands formed these shapes I still don't understand. I think the words sounded like nonsense to both of us.

But whatever we did, it got rid of he scary face.

As we explored our new powers together, that was the last we thought of it.

Even though we had discovered a rift in our world located directly under my friend's home, and underneath the train bridge near my house, we blew that first attack off, thinking nothing of it as we learned to harness and attack with the strange holy magic.

It wasn't until I 'joined' some friends in trying to call a spirit to talk to them from the Otherworld, as the tender age of thirteen, that the reality of the attack set in. I fully intended on foiling this groups every move you see. After all, they didn't know, not really, what they dabbled in.

I lost an entire day of time that day as Karato too my body over for the first time. I was told later I grinned wickedly evilly, before dropping to the ground and convulsing. Immediately the girl's ran from the locker room we had commandeered for this ridiculous act and to the teacher who sent one of them to the nurse and sis what she could.

They couldn't do much of course. Demonic energy and holy energy were never meant to reside in the same body.

When I finally regains control of my body, my best friend was there, her hand on her wrist as she funneled divine energy into my body. My Guardian, a spirit I had engaged only a year prior to guard me in my nightmare plagued sleep, had successfully fought off the attack with my backing. And I had struck a deal with a demon.

I told my friend, whom I owed my life, of the deal I struck, trusting her to help me insure it was followed. I would have no choice but to keep my body in peak physical condition, something I did anyway. And I wold learn how to better use my holy powers, rather than simply brute forcing my way through battles. In return, my inhabitant would cease all attempts at holding my body.

Unfortunately, I would have to pay a steep price for this. My inhabitant was allowed to have complete control f my body for every week up to 48 hours total. If my inhabitant had any need of my body past this, as long as it didn't interrupt my education or training, she could certainly use my body as she saw fit.

Primarily however, the body would remain mine. My inhabitant would not be allowed to make any changes.

I only learned my inhabitant's name the summer before I went to college. Her 'brother,' apparently the youngest of a large amount of siblings, contact me. He would see to my combat training from now on, though I would continue to seek a tutor for my holy powers and learn how to use them.

My task in life is clear. I must rid our world of the demon menace.

But what happens when that menace starts become your friend?

I guess when you strike a deal with the devil, you learn the price far too late.

For awhile, Karato and I had separated bodies, thanks to a shady mage and the help of a friend. But we could never be too far apart, or it started to hurt. Physically.

It wouldn't matter. In time, we'd be taken in, taught to walk the planes. But after that, well. Planeswalking doesn't pay the bills, not really, and Karato and I, we got a job with MCU, as demon hunting contractors. And then disaster struck. Karato had always been rough and tumble, and a little violent. For her, if you weren't bleeding, the violence was in love. she wasn't human, we couldn't hold her to that standard. But MCU did. Karato went to jail. There, she was killed, supposedly by accident.

I was spirited away to the Fae Realms, my memories scrambled, and given the task of lady in waiting, of sorts, to a woman there. She returned, but I was left behind, though not on purpose. I spent fifteen years, in human time in the Fae realms before I was retrieved, unaging thanks to the magic there. It wouldn't be until months after I returned that a presence I had not felt in too long was there in the back of my head, stirring once more, though weak.

Karato. She was back, and it was the matter of minutes to form a plan. We would find out more about why she had been killed, and the only way to do that? Join MCU, the enemy, and do my best to work my way up the ranks. I don't know when I'll finally have access to the files to find out why, or who. But one day I will. Until then? At least my coworkers aren't bad people. Clueless about the dangers of the organization, but hey. It's a bit hard to believe anyone would just kill someone for no real reason.

So begins...

Molly Bronson had her nose buried deep in The life cycle of the Naiad as she walked along the path, not necessarily in a straight line. But she was walking, if nothing else. The woman was clearly entranced by her book, and tripped over a root, recovering fairly quickly.

There was nothign stealthy about the blond.

Molly Bronson looked up in some concern over the sound of a vehicle. She saw the Jeep and he eyes went wide, as she marked her book and put it down. "What in the? Who drives a car off road through the woods!" She demanded, staring in some curiosity at them. She was fairly attractive for a young mostly human woman, but this was probably disguised by her blue cloak and the rather inappropriate uniform she wore.

It had been a proto-type. Made by a pervert, judging by the tightness of the vest and the length of the skirt.

Molly Bronson yelped and moved quickly out of the way, then stared at them in annoyance. "Who goes off roading through the woods this late ate night? I'm fine, but really! Aren't you worried about vampires, or werewolves?" She looked rather annoyed with them, and put a hand on her hip. The other held her book, as she was without her trusty back pack for once.

Molly Bronson blinked. "Oh. I don't worry so much about that. I tend to just fry them. It's pretty easy, actually." She admitted and shrugged, smiling ever so slightly. "You must be hunters." She logicked out, looking amused.

"I had a field class today. Only I didn't go back with the rest, since it's so wonderful out here. Very peaceful." She admitted all too happily.

Molly Bronson stepped into the bar with a smile and looked around. With a sigh she shook her head and put the book away. She had promised to meet up with her other half here, but the demoness wasn't here yet. Tardy. Always tardy, unless there was violence to be had.

Oh well. She could have something to drink until then.

Molly Bronson glanced around and made a face. "Geez. Empty as air." She declared and frowned at the place. "Well, at least there won't be any fights when Karato gets here, great lug." She decided and turned around. She nearly jumped on see Dissonance. Instead she offered a bright smile.

"There's something about empty bars that gets to me. Do you mind if I sit with you?" She asked brightly.

Molly Bronson nodded. "I agree. Fighting isn't much fun." She had learned how of course. IT was impossible not to, considering she was attached to Karato almost at the hip. "I'm waiting on my...sister. But until she gets here, we can hang out."

"I'm Molly Bronson. It's a pleasure to meet you Rianna." She said brightly and found a seat at a table. She tapped in an order for orange juice and looked around curiously. Still no one. "So. What brings you to this crazy place. Not that it's so crazy right now." It was actually rather quiet and boring right now, to her shock.

Molly Bronson slipped in, unaccompanied by her shadow. She glanced around, the spotted Lorn. With a grin, the woman jogged over, only to slow to a concerned walk. She frowned as she got closer. "Lorn? Something's wrong, are you sick?" She shouldn't be here. she should be resting in bed if she were thick. The holy fighter sent Paralysis an annoyed look. "Why'd you let her out of bed! She's ill."

Molly's eyes narrowed at this. She swore quietly and winced at what she had to do. Maybe Paralysis wouldn't break her wrist? Ah hell, who was she kidding? Charging her hand faintly with a mixture of holy and healing energy, Molly etched a mental ward on the palm of her hand with a pen quickly and slapped Lorn hard, or at least tried too. The print of the ward would transfer to Lorn's cheek seamlessly if it worked.

Molly wasn't certain of the problem though. The ward was in case the problem was Paralysis in nature. The healing energy in case it was a virus, and the holy energy in case it was demonic.

Molly looked worried herself. "I don't know, but there's got to be sometime to stop it." She said, clearly worried. How to stop that, how! Molly winced and leaned in close. "Access her mind. Tell me what you see." Molly demanded and took one of Lorn's hands squeezing it and sending pulses of holy energy through her, trying to drive it away. "Please work, please work, please work."

Molly let Paralysis deal with Morgan, leaving her response to a salute with her middle finger. She took an deep breath and grabbed on tight to Lorn, pressing her lips hard against the other woman's in an attempt to shock her to lucidity.

The contact also brought her into enough contact that Molly could feel Lorn's soul. She held the soul close to her with her power, soothing what she could.

Elsewhere, Karato could feel her Host's panic and was already on her way, roaring down the street in a too loud car.

Molly Bronson blushed and pulled away, looking uncomfortable. "I. Oh good. That worked." She said, bright red. Not that Paralysis would ever allow that again. She looked anywhere but at Lorn. "Are you okay now?"

Karato came bursting in the door at that moment and pushed her way over, pulling Molly flush against her and hissing at Paralysis. Once again, the demons got in the way.

Molly fell to her knees worried and uncertain as to what to do. She looked to Karato, clearly upset and the demoness groaned. Did she had to, really? Well at least the source was obvious. Karato eyes Morgan, and pulled out her gun. "Look. I don't care what you did to him and his little human, but it's gone and upset my human. Fix it, or...hm. I blow your balls off, and other attached organs. I'm sure you weren't using them anyway."

The gun was leveled at Morgan's crotch. Karato smiled as Molly fussed over Lorn.

Molly Bronson stepped into the bar, and bit her bottom lip as she glanced around. Karato was sitting with their teacher, but that didn't stop Molly from worrying. Whatever magic was on him was potent stuff. She took a seat at the counter and sighed. This was getting to be too much for her. She ordered some apple juice, as it was at least the right color and sipped at it quietly thinking.

Molly Bronson glanced around and spotted her friend, recognizing her even with the cloak. That size, that figure. It was Lorn. Blushing and remembering their last encounter, Molly stood and walked over. "L-Lorn?" She said, then cursed her stutter. It was all Vexar and Karato's fault, she was sure. "It's, uh, good to see you." She said and smiled at her.

That was it. Both were grounded to the couch. Separate couches! Molly didn't like feeling to awkward around her friend. And then she noticed the odd thing. "Ah...Where's Paralysis?" Wasn't the other normally glued to her side?

"Wait what. Gone for good?" What the hell? Molly looked worried. "It's. Something was attacking you Lorn. Please. What's wrong?" Soemthing had to be wrong. She seemed so out of it, and was normally warmer to Molly. Worry, tinged with a touch of fear, was clear in Molly's eyes. "Please, I. Did something..." she couldn't even say it.

The woman tried to imagine life without her Inhabitant, without Karato and paled at the though of it, horror sweeping through her.

"Des- Des-" Molly swayed, dangerous close to fainting. There was a distinct difference between killing and destroying. Destroying meant nothing was left. Molly swallowed and then wrapped her arms around Lorn tightly, tears leakign out. Paralysis was an ass, but he had been...alright. Kind of.

"I can't even imagine." She whispered, holding Lorn close.

Molly held her close. "I... I can't fix this. I want to so badly Lorn. I want to." But she couldn't. If Paralysis was gone, Molly couldn't pull anything out of her hat. She pet Lorn's hair. "Come home with me tonight. You shouldn't be alone." She could sleep between Molly and Karato and maybe it would help.

There was a reason Molly couldn't stand to be far from Karato. This was impossibly hard. She pet Lorn's hair and said nothing more. What was there to be said.

"Oh no! I mean, yes, I mean, I don't think you're a basket case at all Lorn, I swear." She was making such a fool of her self. Molly blushed and shifted nervously, then took Lorn's hand in hers uncertain. "Um. so... I mean, girlfriend's hold hands right? Is this okay, cause we don't have to."

Karato tended to get in the way of relationships. Forcefully. But she didn't mind Lorn so much, just Paralysis. Not that it matter too much, even if Paralysis hadn't been...destroyed.
