  1. Just a heads up, the strafing gunships are on your side, it's the soldiers their shooting that are the enemy.

It took a while for Morganovicz to gain his bearings once the Imperium marines had made it planetside, this crude means of planetfall easily came to a shock to his body, mainly due to being stuck in a carrier while being surrounded by the columns of soldiers. There was only one reason why he was happy to be hired by the Imperium, besides knowing that this was needed to heighten the relationships between the Commonwealth and the Imperium, and that was his knowledge of this planet known as Terra. The atmosphere held large quantities of nitrogen, a perfect source of nourishment for the Shaki'lyu race as the symbiotic nitrogen fixing bacteria located in the pseudo-lungs, providing an organic source of nitrogen for the body's metabolic demands. A single deep breath was enough to feel the effects of nourishment, as if he had eaten a large meal. Anyway, Morganovicz was here for a reason, and in order to fulfil his contract, he had to be presented with orders from the leader of this operation.

With the Halberd of Montayzuomah held over his shoulder, the Vladaminsky armour worn over his body, designed to grant direct protection of vital areas of the body such as the chest, groin and joints, while less-vital areas were left bare for sunlight to hit the skin; enabling photosynthesis to take place at all times. As means to prevent damage to the less-armoured areas, a plasma shield was worn on his left arm; when activated, the shield would extend to the size of the body. For now, it was left deactivated for easy movement. It was only a moment since the troops had made it planetside and they had already began their assault in the form of strange gunships, something that was simply cast away as unimportant as the Shaki'lyu irregular made his way through the battlefield in search of the Commisar.

Once he had finally found the familiar uniform of high ranked Imperium soldiers, Morganovicz quickly made his way to stand beside him, giving a small nod towards the guardsman who protected the Commisar. "Yo, leader, I gotta give my thanks to bringing me here. Gave me a reason to get out of the palace, y'know." Morganovicz spoke out, projecting his voice over the sounds of the gunfire in order to be heard, "So what's the plan of action for us? I'm sure you're aware of my Sa'ooayna affinity."

The assault by the gunships scattered the ranks of Warriors, but the fyrnskain among them continued their stride as the bullets ricocheted off their armor. They started charging forward, shoulder first, at the opponents to show themselves while the remaining warriors rallied. Once they had gathered together, the warriors raised their shields to defend against the Gunships while several took their spears and threw them into the air. Once they were airborne the hafts of the spears ignited and burned like the exhaust froma rocket, driving the blades towards and into the gunships. While in flight the surface of the blade was incited and turned to a plasma state that would melt through all but the thickest armor. Finally, if the spears were able to hit their targets, the inertia of the flare, combined with the plasmafied surface, would burrow them into the gunships, where they would explode and riddle the interior with molten shrapnel.

Even if they did manage to take out the gunships, the quickly surrounded warriors would be overwhelmed by the infantry forces deployed against them, fifty or so would manage to reform the shield wall. The shields, enchanted as they were, would be impervious to the gunfire, and as they were made of starsteel, the unique properties of the material would absorb the heat and energy of the plasma with ease. Short of anti tank weaponry, the shield wall would be an impenetrable defense, and the warriors would be able to hold until reinforcements came.

The Gunships in the air would notice the spears throne at them, however thanks to their VTOL like design instead of having to maneuver to the side or speed up all the had to do was easily fly up or down and avoid the spear throne at them. Some gunships to focused on avoiding other hostiles were hit by these spears causing the occupants inside the ship to be killed and crash into buildings or the streets below.

For the Guardsman below, they would see that their weapons were having no effect on the shields. Some soldiers armed with grenade launchers would step in and begin chucking grenades at the enemy fortification. Heavy weapon teams lugging around Las-cannons, would set up behind reinforced positions and take a well placed shot at the soldiers behind the shield, these las-cannons fired shots of coherent light, designed to destroy tanks or other armored opponents.

Meanwhile behind his lines, Cain would noticed Morganovicz the mercanary the Imperium had hired to improve Imperium and Commonwealth relationships. "Straight to the point. Alright here is whats going on, the enemy soldiers seem to posses incredibly strong shields meaning anti-tank weapons or flanking them to the side would be the most appropriate way to take them out. Right now enemy ships from orbit have made planet fall and we have located one such ship landing in this city. You will be tasked to advanced with the regiment and eliminate all enemy soldiers and structures you find along the way. You may work along or along with one of the elite forces and breach this ship, destroying it would be dangerous so I want you and like everyone else her to breach the ship, eliminate all personal on board, and destroy all essential systems allowing it to function. That is the briefing, so good luck out there." the Commissar would nod in the direction of Morganovicz and continue behind the forces of tanks.

Several wormholes opened high up in the sky directly above the city, each glowing and swirling with orange energy. Crackling with artificial lightning. They were distracting to say the least, even more distracting were the ships that left them. They seemed to vary in size, dozens of them were extremely large and cast a shadow over the city.

There was a smaller ship making it's descent on the city fast, only slowing once it neared a tall building to land atop it. It wasn't there to join the fight, but it was clearly dropping off those that would.

About a dozen Invictus soldiers donning orange armor stepped off of the transport ship, another dozen followed. The second group were dressed much more flamboyantly, they gave off a very obvious magical vibe. Who else would come to a war zone dressed like Liberace?

Mages and wizards always needed to be the center of attention.

The soldiers escorting them were heavily armed, bringing the physical aspect to help enhance the magical.

"Get me eyes on the street." The leader of the squad ordered. She was a dark-skinned woman with ambiguous features and an accent that didn't sound exactly native to Terra.

"Roger that." The pilot responded, taking the ship back up into the sky to circle the small battlefield and provide some of information about what was happening.

Morganovicz Skeel, a man of great military significance to the Commonwealth. His past experience in warfare had quickly allowed him to become renown throughout the Shaki'lyu nations, holding the nickname of 'One Man Army' mainly due to his abilities in battle along with his past achievements of turning the tides of war even when heavily outnumbered. Although this man was born as an irregular of Skeel nobility, his efforts have been quickly noticed by the High Emperor Weilacca Vladaminsky III, bringing him into the triarchy as a royal guard while also heightening the relationships between the Skeel and Vladaminsky nations. Of course, this past hardly effects his life at present, except for his highly confidential grants of the Vladaminsky military...

A small nod of acceptance was given towards the Commisar once orders have been given, allowing Morganivicz to head off to complete them alongside the elites of the Imperium, assuming leadership of the small group as they made their way through the battlefield towards the defensive line of shields set up by the invaders. It was safe to assume the great defensive power of these strange shields as they resisted high powered projectiles with no more than a scratch on the surface. Then again, the scratch may just be the removal of decorative paint. Of course, something of such great defensive prowess holds the weaknesses of the user, and the volley of grenade launches fired may break the line. However, they may not do the job efficiently, a good way is to break a gap into this impressive shell of shields to bring more damage to the soldiers held inside.

And so, Morganovicz reached the conclusion of summoning his Sa'ooayna affinity of air, the unique ability of the Skeel sub-species. Using his technique of casting, Morganovicz impaled his halberd into the ground, freeing both hands as he assumed a crouching position. At the same time, the Shaki'lyu's hands smoothly moved through the air, waving around from in front to behind, drawing the surrounding air into his hands in concentrations which became visible. The next movements were faster than the normal eye could pick up, pushing the hands forwards as extremely high velocity jets of air were fired directly at the shields, aiming for the left and right sides of the line before a second volley was fired at the middle. The aim was to push the soldiers backwards into their peers, breaking a gap into this shell for the fired grenades to come into direct contact with; drastically increasing the damage made to their enemies.

Once the volley was complete, Morganovicz reclaimed his halberd in both hands, nodding his head towards the hopefully broken defensive unit before confirming his orders to the elites. "Let's make this a close quarters combat situation, don't let any of them escape and take prisoners if possible."

The Shields would have held strong against even the weapons of an capital ship bombardment, yet the force of wind blew down upon the guard and several warriors lost their footing. As they did so their shields opened to allow the smallest of openings, yet it was enough as the grenades sailed within and detonated, blowing the formation wide open. As the grenades continued to fall upon them the force was scattered, and those that did not die from that attack began a suicide charge upon their enemy, hoping to slaughter as many as they could before they themselves fell.
The bodies that lay upon the ground covered in the golden army of the warriors began to ignite one after the other, and as the corpses burned away their essence was returned to the soulstone for regeneration.

Above on the rooftops, several archers began firing explosive arrows into the midst of the enemies ranks. These arrows crackled with red energy before igniting into a napalm explosion that would attach an everburning flame to all within it's reach.

As the enemy formation broke, every last Imperium soldier kept on gunning. Since their flanks were exposed the elites or guardsman carrying special weapons would easily take them down. However the archers on the rooftops began to fire off arrows into the guardsman ranks, each arrow causing small groups of guardsman to turn into bits of flesh or setting them on fire.

Once the archers revealed themselves, remaining gunships trying their best not to engage the new army would swoop down for another pass and begin hammering the building with both missile fire and gunfire. Imperial soldiers on the ground would also begin to fire at their positions.

The team with Morganovicz began to fix power bayonets to their hell-guns. If he wanted them to participate in close quarters fighting they would follow suite. They nodded in affirmation to his orders and prepared to follow him into the enemy lines.

Once Cain was in the front lines along the armored force, he would notice the bodies of the soldiers ignite and burn away. He was not sure what was happening however he already composed a theory since something about how they vanished seemed familiar. "Jurgen take notes here, remember the time we face those necrons? Well it appears the enemy might either be burning away their dead so the enemy cannot take their equipment or more logically, they might be bringing the dead back to revive them like the eldar do with their dead. This is all just a hypothisis however we cannot dismiss this possibility." The Commisar would speak as he aimed his las-pistol at one of the archers on the rooftop just a mile away from him, he would then take a shot at the archers head with deadly accuracy to show his men that he too can fight.

As the battle throughout wing city was unfolding, a pair of eyes was standing upon the roof of the Tech Con headquarters staring at everything as it unfolded through a set of high power binoculars.

"Boy; this place has gone to Hades in a fruit basket." Tech Con security chief Arren Valaj said as he brought his attention to an administrative assistant besides him.

"Capital class weaponry, invading armies." He commented as he lowered the set of binoculars to allow them to rest on his armored chest piece.

"Get everyone around the quarter in defensive positions, tell them not to engage unless they are fired upon." The Captain said, while the assistant gave a nod and dialed up his radio.

"Security teams to defensive positions around the compound." The Assistant said into his radio.

All while the Security captain put the binoculars to his eyes once more to watch the chaos unfold.

--All around Tech Con owned properties, white technicals with plasma cannons mounted in the bed took up defensive positions behind concrete jersey barriers. Several heavily armed mercenaries also took positions behind overturned cars, concrete barriers, and their own vehicles as alarms began to sound throughout the Tech Con facility.

The Security chief continued to watch.

"Get Rapid response on the horn, we might need them to contain this situation."

"Jesus Christ, these are the killing fields." The Invictus pilot relayed to his comrades, keeping himself high above ground to avoid being pulled into the fighting or shot down. "I suggest you take your time, plan accordingly." He continued.

"Understood." Arya responded, "Come on, let's head down to the street." She told her team, "And let's try not get hit by any strays. These guys are really going at it." The Invictus soldier said, gesturing for her team to follow her down into the building. They weren't planning to make their presence known until they really needed to, so staying inside and watching the battles was the best choice.

At least until they were ready to strike.

At the sight of seeing these elites comply to his poor excuse of an order, Morganovicz gave a great smile of victory. He knew that the group had the ability to push back this attack and speed up the acts of securing the area for Imperial reinforcements to land. Looks like this invasion will be a short lasted one, at least it'll be a good amount of action for Morganovicz to take part in before being sent back to his royal guard duties; following the High Emperor around. With a swing of a blade, and a small moment for a pose to be given alongside the elite team, Morganovicz literally jumped into action.

Using his large Shaki'lyu weight alongside gravity, Morganovicz charged down at the invaders, his halberd swung with a force large enough to impale into the enemy's skull. Once landed, a spin technique was given, using the momentum to lop the leg off another soldier before stabbing the bottom of the halberd through the chest. However, from the corner of his eye, Morganovicz spied a third soldier charging in with their weapon. With the halberd stuck in an ignited corpse, and the secondary focus of blowing jets of air over his head to prevent the napalm arrows from hitting him, there was no means to counter this attack. Except...

The invader's weapon clanged against the metallic shoulder of Morganovicz' armour, quickly ricocheting at a sharp angle due to the deliberately awkward shape of the armour. "Hah! Selaikah!" Morganovicz called out in an early victory as he dislodged his weapon from the burning corpse, quickly swinging his body in the effort to impale the main blade into the annoying offender. However, another, louder clang of metal against metal was sounded. This soldier still carried their impenetrable shield, allowing the small skirmish to continue. "Ah, that..." The irregular mumbled in annoyance before feeling the small tickle of another blade slicing at his exposed back, followed by the numbed feeling of blood trailing down his body. Some idiot actually managed to hurt him.

As Morganovicz spun around once more, successfully slicing the throat of the successful soldier, a third one joined the fight; swinging a stabbing motion towards the back of Morganovicz' head. Sadly, there wasn't much to cut through except skin as the natural Selaikah bones of the Shaki'lyu race prevented any major damage, while also annoying the irregular even more. "Alright, you're pissing me off now." Morganovicz stated in a monotone voice, swinging the back of his halberd under his shoulder to stab directly into the chest of the second successful soldier before turning to the shielded one. "Right, I need you to heal my wounds."

With one movement of throwing his weapon in the air, distracting the soldier, Morganovicz charged forward to gently press his hand against the diaphragm of the soldier. It was a rare occurrence for Morganovicz to use this power, especially early into the battle, but all he needed was to rip the life energy out of the soldier and use it to heal himself, while also granting some extra energy for more air casting. But this movement came with a catch...
Suddenly, Morganovicz felt a burning sensation pulse through his body, increasing in intensity as the nanoseconds passed. His eyes seemed to glow the colours of the stars as he silently screamed in panic. Finally, within the time frame of less than half a second, this sensation disappeared. With such a panic of the massive amounts of energy contained within one enemy, Morganovicz simply directed this energy back towards the Vladaminsky supernode he had connected himself to before heading off to the war. After all, there was no other means for him to get rid of the energy, and throwing it back into that soldier is an idiotic idea. At least the wounds had healed; and the scene going dark.

The Shaki'lyu irregular fell to the ground with a loud thump, only to wake up once one of his fellow soldiers came to retrieve him...

Those soldiers that had remained continued to grind themselves out upon the enemy, each warrior suicide charging into the enemy lines until they were slain. When the dust settled, all that remained were corpses burning themselves away.

The Archers on the other hand, began leaping from rooftop to rooftop, firing their arrows now at the gunships targetting them, even as they continued to evade and move across the buildings. One archer, in a moment of peace, spotted soldiers fortifying a position on a Tech Con Building, and began moving back towards the business District. Considering all that was happening, it seemed another report had to be sent to the commander of the forces.

Several fighter craft then streamed into the area, targeting the Gunships and unleashing salvos of missile fire upon them. Or at least that's the best it could be described, as the missiles were in fact beams of light that would chase after the gunships as they tried to avoid them. If they struck, or after a minute of chasing, they would detonate in an arcane blast that released kinetic and thermal energy in copious amounts. One of those striking a gunship would blow a hole in that craft, simple as that.

In the distance more warriors appeared to be marching towards Sol Avenue. These were accompanied by more Fyrnskain, though they were led by a what appeared to be a Monk. Of greater concern however, would be the fifteen meter tall Golem that thundered at the rear of the procession. The Hulking monolithic humanoid creature stepped forward with the assured pace of a single minded machine.

The Gunships would immedientky focus their efforts on the fighters, although they were not the best against other ships they could at the very least attempt to bring down the other ship before they could go down. Some Gunships had holes blown in them when the "missiles" impacted their hulls and bringing them down in a fiery crash.

For the elites near Morgannovicz, they would follow right behind him with hell-guns peppering the enemy warriors and they would hit unguarded portions of their body. Once they got into close combat, they dodged the spears easily due to their small farm and genetically enhancements, then they would counter with a wide slash to the enemies neck, the power bayonet would exude a blue-coloured haze alowing them to cut through their armour and into their neck.

Once the enemy soldiers in the area were taken out, the elites would rush to the irregular and check if he was still breathing. If he was they would shake him awake before enemy reinforcements arrived.

For the rest of the battalion, they began to fortify the area. Transports would drop bunkers allowing Guardsman to garrison inside them. Sentry guns were placed in choke points and buildings armed either heavy bolters or multi-las armaments. Sandbags were deployed to give the men more cover, Hyras made their way to the ground, these vehicles armed with four auto cannons would set up around the area and bein firing on enemy aircraft that came into the vicinity. Lemen Russ battle tanks would roll into position around the area and buildings would be changed into military facilities such as a command post, guard posts or fore one specific building a vehicle hanger which tech preists along with crates of supplies would be ushered into the building to create weapons of war to help destroy the enemy lines.

From behind the fortifications being set up a small convoy of armored police vehicles arrived on the scene. Many of them bore the insignia of the WCPD SRU. The vehicles came to a stop setting up a barricade across the street as heavily armed officers began to pour out of their vehicles. Once assembled around the vehicle there seemed to be roughly 30 officers a few SRU and the rest standard WCPD.

Will Jackson was a Sargent with the WCPD and the SRU however he was anything far from a large command position. He was given this small group of officers and asked to go assist on Sol Ave. Though from the looks of things they probably didn't need much help. "You five go look for wounded or trapped civilians." Will said

He looked out over the fortifications, Chen take 20 guys and Guard the Vehicles" Jackson said to another officer who was in a metal suit of high tech looking armor metal cables were attached o multiple portions of the armor.

"The rest of you Stay with me let's go see if we can figure out what the hell is going on." Will said as he grabbed an anti-material sniper and slung it over his back the rest of the officers followed him towards the fortifications.

From the direction of the Business District, another contingent of the golden armored warriors marched forth to Sol Avenue. At their head was a man dressed like a monk, with gauntlets of starsteel upon his fore arms and fists.
The forces following him were a overwhelming display of strength. Over Five Hundred footmen wielding shield and spear of golden starsteel, no less than fifty Fyrnskain, each wielding their massive two handed axe or Hammer with the ease of a wooden stick. Fifteen paladins filled the air, their staves open to rejuvenate and heal their brothers and sisters. One hundred and fourty three Archers, who leaped from roof top to roof top, securing snipers roosts as they went.

The most impressive display of force however would be the massive fifteen meter tall starsteel Golems who marched only just behind the Monk. Each filled the lane with their girth, and their strength could tear down buildings with such ease, that the buildings would seem made of sand.

The Monk stepped forward, keeping a distance of a hundred feet between his forces and the opposing marines, soldiers, and policemen. In a clear and almost musical voice he spoke.

"Leave now while you can, this area is not safe, and if you stay your lives may be forfeit. It is my hope to avoid unnecessary death. If, however, any of you would seek to challenge us, then we shall oblige you. Be forewarned that if you do so, it shall be an ultimately futile endeavor, as we who may perish at your hands shall only return an endless stream, until you are all washed away."

His warning given, Ekfricai stood with his hands clasped behind his back, his legs spread at shoulders width, and awaited the response.

As the Imperial Guard stronghold became more and more fortified, Cain assumed his position in the comamnd room as he received word from the Lord General that in event of his death he would be in command. Although it was to be expected, an unexpected call did come in. A call from the Commonwealth requesting that Morgannovicz be pulled out immediately, an event that required all available Irregulars had come up and he had agreed to it.

Cain personally walked down to the infirmary with a Teleporter Homer in his hand and attached it to Morgannovicz. "Orders from the High Emperor, you are being pulled out immediately. You did your part in clearing the area quick enough to help my men set up defensive positions. But enough talk, you are needed elsewhere." With one press of a button, Morgannovicz would suddenly vanish from sight to be placed on board one of his ships.

Meanwhile outside the stronghold, Heavy weapon teams set up in every nook and cranny, mortar teams held up in new holes made into the grounds. Guardsman took up defensive positions and tanks were fortified into static defensive emplacements.

A massive explosion of warm light shone over all the land. As it brushed against the denizens of terra it inspired joy and happiness in them. As it touched the Legion warriors and their forces, they all shattered into flurries of soft white feathers that emitted a warm glow of their own as they faded away into nothing.

Ekfricai laughed as he felt the light touch him. He then rushed forward and leaped clear over the defenses and battlements, even as his body fluttered and fell apart. He smiled and raised both arms wide open and said "A glorious day! I give apologies to you all for what sorrows you've faced, and commend your bravery and sacrifice. If ever you might meet me again, then pray tell, join me for a drink and song! It is but the least I owe you" as he spoke his voice and form faded to nothingness, but his laughter lingered on.

The Guardsman looked into the air as a bright light shone overhead, afterwards the Legion soldiers they had been fighting suddenly turned into feathers as they faded away. All the Guardsman began to cheer, some jumping up and down while others actually shot their weapons is the air laughing.

For Cain, he was relived that the battle was over. He was risking his neck out there and he could have died. However there was one last thing he had to do. "Come in Lance Of The Emperor, do you read?" The Commisar spoke however all he could hear was static, he soon tried to vox all the other ships but all he could hear was static. "So the space marines steal all the glory and leave us on this planet...Fine then...I guess its time for paperwork to arrange for some things while we are here..." Cain sighed as he walked outside the command post to issue new orders to his men to begin rebuilding the city and to salvage the fleet that has been destroyed.

#, as written by Saarai
"Did you all see that?" The Invictus pilot asked the ground team as they made it to the ground floor of the building they were in, "No, what happened?" Arya asked, "They disappeared, one of the invading armies. I see others though, you can probably hit them hard and take them out." He said.

Arya and her team made their to the exit, watching the Imperial soldiers celebrate their victory.

"Our orders are to rescue civilians, if these guys get in our way we'll handle them." An Invictus heavy said, "On you, Bones." Another said to Arya, the woman making her way to the front of the group.

She raised a hand, indicating that her team should wait. Slowly and carefully she pushed open the door to the street, taking advantage of the Imperial soldiers' distraction to order her team forward. She and the Invictus soldiers jogged over to another building, peeking inside to see people huddled together.

They could only hope the fighting outside was over, or that the good guys had won at least.

"In here." Arya said to her team, stealthily leading them inside. There were too many people to sneak by, they'd have to clear the area if they wanted to evacuate them.

"It might get gory."

The Imperial Forced followed their Commisars orders and began to head to work. Tanks now equipped with bulldozer blade began to clear the rubble off the street, guardsman began to work together to fix every damaged building in the area, gathering the injured or dead, and gathering all defensive emplacements and weapons. They were now beginning reconstruction operation and seemed to not be going forward to conquer the area. In fact they were packing up everything.

Meanwhile for Cain he was filling in reports to hand to command once he could return. He wrote about the events, how many men died, what they did after the battle was over, and any additional notes he could write.

Planet: Holy Terra

A relatively large fleet of galleon-esque ships appeared from the depths of a wormhole, opened a little distance from planetary orbit of Holy Terra; the large solar sails pushed fully outwards in the winds of the space-time distortion as the large fin-like nets slowly grabbed dark matter from the surrounding void. Among this amass of Shaki'lyu ships, each bearing at last three flags of the Shaki'lyu Commonwealth of Nations with a secondary flag of their corresponding memberstate, sailed the large flagship of the Triarchy and other nobles; The Praksha, while being surrounded by the rest of the fleet, Frigates, destroyers and a single battleship while the image of the planet-sized superstation, the Seikham, was slowly covered by the closing wormhole.

Once this fleet had reached orbit of Holy Terra, they hailed the nearby fleet of the Astral Halberd with the voices of the Shaki'lyu leaders with one voice topping all; "We greet you as the Shaki'lyu Commonwealth Triarchy and request your escort to your Emperor in order to meet our arrangements of diplomacy." The young yet bold voice of the High Emperor greeted.

Planet: Holy Terra

Once the Shaki'lyu ships gathered over Holy Terra, the Imperial Fleet stationed over Terra kept a close eye on them. However for the Astral Halberd, one of the captains spoke up. "Greetings High Emperor, we shall be the one escorting you to our Emperor. We shall arrive at the spaceport then we shall make our way to the Inner Palace." The captain of the blood Ravens spoke as a smaller vessel left the ship to the planet, a thunder hawk transport was on their way to the planet.

Planet: Holy Terra

With the escorts located, the flagship followed the small vessel which made its way planetside. Behind the flagship followed three small frigates as guards, all four of these space crafts changed their direction upon entry into the atmosphere of the Imperial capital. The reinforced bottoms of these space galleons acted as both a heat shield and a wind break while the vertical thrusters controlled the velocity of the reentry. Sadly there was no forms of smaller vessels as means of transport, leaving hopes that the spaceport will be large enough to accommodate such large crafts, even if the guard frigates needed to stay in the air. There was even the concerns of alarming the populace of Holy Terra with the appearance of sudden large ships.

However, with a small nod behind the microphone, the High Emperor replied kindly to the escorts; "Thank you, we'll see you down there."

The people on Terra once they saw the ships would begin panicking slightly. They were not aware that people had come to visit but nevertheless some people were wary of these new people. Many thoughts passed around, did the Imperium make new allies? Did an enemy fleet somehow get pass the defense line? What were their lords doing at a time like this?

Once the thunderhawk transport landed on one of the landing pads, they began to talk about some customs when they enter the palace since the landing pad would be able to hold their ship. "High Emperor, there are some important things to note. When we arrive at what we know as Eternity Gate, please bow your head as you walk. This is one of our regularly customs. There will aso be an ancient site known as the Column of Glory, this ancient site marked the brave sacrifices of brave battle brothers that died defending Terra, when you arrive be silent as to allow those warriors to peacefully rest. These are the most important things to note so there is not to much trouble I suppose?" The captain of the Black Templars spoke.

With the worry of the spaceport's size gladly removed once all four ships touched down, the Triarchy and their irregular guards set off to finally set foot on what would hopefully soon be an allied planet. The explained customs were quickly acknowledged and will gladly be followed, despite the words of the right king, Lirek Skeel; "Why the fuck should we do what these humans want? They should be more accommodating to us."
"Be quiet, Lirek, this is how these people live. And you are to comply and do the same when inside their territory. I'm not up to any arguments. Weilacca quickly replied.

With the underside of the flagship opening up, the Triarchy and the three irregulars finally came into view as they slowly stepped onto the hard metallic ground of the spaceport. The cultures of the Shaki'lyu were easily distinguished from their clothing, while the irregulars were simply dressed in their own unique armour, the Triarchs were dressed in the noble robes as kings;
High Emperor Weilacca Vladaminsky III wore a thick cloak with strange zig-zagged piping stretching from the shoulders to the floor as spine-like protrusions pointed perpendicularly to the spine. Two meter-long isosceles pyramids sat on the shoulders as some form of shoulder pads while a massive octagonal shape sat behind the head. A sleeveless shirt was worn, revealing a scar which circled around the left arm where it had previously been lost and the bright blue gem of the crown glowed silently on his left shoulder. A sheathed vladaminsky broadsword hung from the belt while the over-sized trousers calmly bounced in Weilacca's steps. Although the colours of the clothing seemed random due to the Shaki'lyu inability to view colour, Weilacca's long black hair was styled to cover the right eye while the left side pointed directly outward.
The other two members of the Triarchy wore similar clothing, donning shapes of less sides behind their heads while the pyramidal shoulder pads were smaller.

Upon sight of their escorts, seen as the heat given off by their bodies which was easily distinguishable from the cold background, the High Emperor gave off a small smile as he approached them. While the others frowned at their poor attire, even worse than normal soldiers.

The marine captains met the High Emperor with a short bow. "Welcome to Holy Terra, now we shall lead you to the Emperor." Renalus spoke and began to walk off with Carnaelgaar by his side. As they walked the people of Terra would see the marines with strange looking people, if they were with space marines then something was going on.

It took them half an hours walk until they soon entered the moree walled off areas of the city. They were now entering closer to the heart of Holy Terra and they would all soon arrive in a long corridor, the smell cloying, reeking incense would fill their noses and dissonant music, gongs and harps which boom, twang and ripple, matching the pulse of ancient, adored machinery would ring in their ears.. They would then see thousands of shattered power armor on the floor, bones vissible through the cracks. They had entered the Column of Glory and with that the foots steps that were loud became silent even as they marched on the tiled floor, and they even stopped their breathing once they entered. The walk was a short half minute walk but to the marines it felt like years.

Once they left the long hallway, they would walk for another ten minutes passing by more and more space marines who eyed then suspiciously until they finally arrived at Eternity Gate. Thousands of unfurled banners line the mile-long grand hallway that leads to the Eternity Gate. These are the ancient and tattered banners of the greatest and most valiant armies to have fought for Mankind featuring heroes or the Regiments and CHapters that served the Imperium. At the end of this long passageway stands the massive double-doors of the Eternity Gate itself, standing inviolable and unbreakable and sheathed in shimmering gold. Carved upon its surface is an ornate mosaic of the Emperor Himself, at the height of his glory during the Great Crusade, with shield and sword in hand, standing triumphant over a great serpentine beast. At the sides of the gate stood two of the most powefull war machines the Imperium could field, Two immense Reaver-class Titans of the Legio Ignatum flanked the great archway that leads onwards, serving as columns, one blood-red, one royal purple. High over the archway, carved in obsidian, a massive Palatine Aquila, the wide winged double-headed eagle of the Imperium, was mounted. And finally in front of these massive war machines at least 9,000 of the 10,000 Adeptus Custodes, genetically-engineered superhumans who are even more potent in combat than the Adeptus Astartes and who serve as the Emperor's personal guardians and praetorian bodyguards.

The Marine captains bowed their head until they were in front of Eternity Gate when they were stopped. "Brothers, you run the high risk of heresy if these people so much as thinks of a heretical though. If you pass these gates you will be responsible for everything that happens...Are you sure you can trust these people with your very life and existence?" One of the Custodes stopped the two marines with his Guardian Spear. "We understand the significance of this...As much as it pains everyone in every chapter to let outsiders into the most sacred area, we must to this to ensure that the Emperor does not die." Carnaelgaar spoke and with that the Custodes placed his spear at his side and they would all then pass through the massive portal which led to the heart of Terra Itself.

They would appear just a corridor away from the Emperor's throne room, this was the marines first time seeing him and for the first time ever they could feel nervous and terrified at the same time. They began to walk with shaky breath until they met the one who they all served, the Emperor of Mankind. There he sat, his skeletal body adorned in golden armor. To most he may have been long since then but for the Imperium he was still alive. The two captain lost all feeling in their legs and fell on their knees in an immediate worshiping position. To be in his very presence, they were very honored.
