But there would be something to find out there. A small bumb in the landscape, nothing more than a boulder if you weren't scanning it with anything aside from your eyes. But nonetheless it was something. It was something ancient, something powerful, and something hungry. This structure would set off all kinds of alarms on a scanner such as Colleens, readings pertinent to energy levels and composition would show it as a space craft of some sort, with an overwhelmingly high energy reading. It lay dormant in the earth however.... waiting... listening...

The woman smiled as things where explained to her. Mars Corp was fully aware of the incident and the other problems that Chiron-Delta was prone to have or has had. The Witch Hunter continued to follow close behind her company while checking the readouts of her own protective EVA suit.

"The job may be boring but believe me." Helga finally spoke up. "Mars Corporation will bring a bit of delight and joy to this stubborn rock of a world one way or another."

Her own scanners and those of a small Mars Corp. ship high above in t he atmosphere would go off as two signals fell within the broad parameters that the company was keeping an eye on.

"Colleen, over there, it appears to be something of an unknown origin. Here I was to believe that this was going to be boring." Helga smirked and took several steps towards the fallen device only to stop and swipe at a personal holoscreen just to turn back to her compatriot while shaking her head. "Tell me is there supposed to be another ship scheduled for arrival?"

The Mars Corp. vessel began to actively move down towards the landing site at the penal colony only to relay more information that its scanners picked up while running ship licensing numbers for the other vessel that was coming down towards the planet.

Giving crooked grin she gave thumbs up before replying, "You must be a lucky charm I done this duty for months and not picked up anything but occasional dead body which I have to identify to see if it is one of convicts." performing another scan with her suit she picked it up, well one thing, it appeared to be a ship of some sort landing in the area. This could be bad, only reason unscheduled landings occurred was because usually they were intent on trying to break someone out. Drawing her plasma 780 Blaster, Colleen spoke softly, ""The anomaly can wait, let me give low down Helga, if a ship is landing outside of Chiron-Delta Facility 104 generally means we got some fools who believe they can break someone out. Well that or the Aschen pricks are coming presented in pomp and ceremony."

Rolling her eyes she switched to electronic readings to trace signal of ship, "It appears to be landing about 100 kliks in northward direction, still within our perimetre. Guess we best go." taking up a steady jog while gripping her pistol, the oxygen was steadily refiltered into her suit and the heat control was mimizing the warmth that should be felt. It was ingenious design, but then she would expect nothing better, "Well I guess since you made our suits we do deserve to let you join us on this rock, so why were you transferred here?" she said this while still keeping up a steady pace.

Colleen was quite agile as a whole and had a rather lithe figure, although don't mistake her lack of upper body strength for being easy to handle, she had only been stationed here due to bad behavior, that being a stimpack addiction. It had started out after an accident on a Mining Operation on a Meteror, but the mental reaction she had gotten was just too irristable.

An noticeable sound had been made from the boy's helmet, as it turned black, and began to make a typing sound, which it was read "welcoмe вacĸ ѕeѕdeaтн" with the voice of a computer programed with a female voice in it. The male could hear it from inside the helmet, as it show's him were he was at very clearly. The area was a bit Ennui, as there was nothing but foot prints, red rocks, and ruble. Not to mention the wind at picked up the red dust.

The sun was very harsh, and wasn't easy to look up to. The male had begun to move, he had wore an all white suit from black strips on each arm and legs. His helmet was tinted light blue, and his visor was pitch black, nobody would be able to see the face of sesdeath or as known as Imai. His journey has once begun in search of something strange, there was indeed nothing in sight, but bones scattered around the area, legs, arms, heads, feet, etc. Nothing was in place which seems to bother him a little bit.

"don'т leт мιndleѕѕ тнιngѕ geт тo yoυ ѕeѕdeaтн, тнey're jυѕт ѕcaттered вoneѕ, тнaт ѕoмeтнιng нad тorn ιт aparт. мayвe ѕoмeĸιnd oғ creaтυre oғ ѕoмe ѕorт" The female began speaking from inside of his helmet. Regarding to Imai's concern of what's going on.

"Yeah I kind of figured what had happened around here, but if someone is going to obliterate someone at least leave the body parts attached, instead of having it scattered across this wasteland." He complained, the male had stumbled upon a large building which is known as a facility. Flashing images suddenly accord towards Imai, Imai began grasping his left arm in spite to get rid of the disturbing images.

"тнιѕ reмιndѕ yoυ oғ ιт doeѕn'т ιт?" She says.

"More or less, let's just get this done and over with before I have to purposely destroy this entire building." He says as he enters the building.

Russians's ship soon touched down on the surface of Chiron-Delta. As the hatch in the rear of the ship opened up, Russian now equipped with a red mech suit leaped out of the hatch and landed on the ground underneath. He was soon accompanied by two robots who looked more like pre-world astronauts, jumped down behind him and were armed with a specially made Tesla rifle.

As he looked around his surroundings he began to bring up multiple screens inside his mech suit, a modified sonar which worked on land, a radar to alert him if there was anything nearby that wanted to sneak up on him, and finally a screen that had a list of thousands of songs, the list itself contained some very old songs from before humans learned how to travel around space to more newer songs in the present day. "Now time to tune in to some pre-world songs and get this mission underway." Saying this, Russian turned on his music playlist before accessing his ships systems and turned on his ships defense system and turned on all of his robots still in his ship so they could defend the ship while he was gone.

After making sure his way off the planet was not going to be robbed or destroyed very easily, Russian soon began to wander north to begin exploring this new planet while keeping a eye on his modified sonar for anything he could pick up in the ground.

A small spark of energy ran through the vessel buried in the earth. An excitement was brewing within. The nearby sources of energy were rousing it from it's slumber, and waking it's hunger. A small shudder would ripple from the ship, passing through the earth. Nothing much, not even anything noticeble without a careful eye or device. Little more than a signal, letting all around know that something was there....
...That something was watching.

Helga nodded to Colleen but stopped dead in her tracks as her own scanners went off once more. The sounds of warning systems and directional markers would go off and the Witch Hunter turned towards the strange entombed ship with the intent of deadly force if necessary.

"Colleen!" Helga called as a red edged sword began to materialize within her left hand while a strange looking handgun shifted into her other. "Go and deal with whoever landed. I will cover you and deal with whatever this thing is."

The Witch Hunter flipeed a single switch on the side of her gun and kept it leveled upon the strange craft. Whatever was to come out would have a rude awakening.

she warned. The boy had turned around, almost seeing nothing in sight, he had looked a bit puzzled.

What are you saying, is there something near, that maybe outside the faculty?
Imai sighed, and walked away from the faculty a little bit, and settled.

She ordered.

The male nodded, as his armor was taken off except his helmet, he would then lifted his leg up, and slammed his feet on the ground lightly. Imai had sensed a strange present within the ground. Imai picked up his suit, and put it back on.

"Yeah you're right, there is something under here, but do you think the energy source would lead deep inside the faculty, if not then I don't know how to get it to come out." He says.

She questioned.

Imai shook his head in disagreement.

"Let's just continue on the mission, and see what secret lies here." He says as he made his way inside the faculty. The faculty was quite big, but really old, a bunch of dust, and web's in each corner of the ceiling. There were tons of path ways, and stair ways, some were secret passage ways that could lead to something. On the tip there were cell's containing bad guy's captured all over the world, and was sent to this wasteland to rot, and die.

There was something beyond the way they were. Something that could answer all of there questions, a special kind of cell that was in one of the passage ways, but would be hard to spot, as it would blend in with the texture of the building.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Moans, groans, german accents to Japanese accents were sounded around the area, as they began to walk through the faculty.

A grin appeared from the boy's lips inside the boy's helmet, as he summons a hover bored, as he jumps on it, and rides it to the top to meet these people.

In orbit above the harsh prison planet of Chiron Delta, the activity that was surrounding this normally isolated moon had drawn undue attention. Attention that came in the form of a large warship flashing into mid-grade orbit above the planetoid.

The Iconoclast Class Battleship Inomine Veritas was a sight to behold, at roughly five and a half kilometers, she situated herself in high orbit as Commander Gray went over the planetary scans.

"Starship and jump signatures, I surmise they already landed." Gray said as he turned to his executive officer.

"All hands Action stations! Initiate planetary approach, lock us into geostationary orbit and prepare to drop the Adepts." Gray ordered, as the lights dimmed to a dull red.

Alarms began to klaxxon as the massive Imperial Aschen warship turned slightly on it's keel, exposing it's underside to the planet's surface.

From there it began to initiate intensive surface scans, along with launching a quartet of Aurora Alpha tactical bombers, each equipped with sophisticated tracking equipment.

Slowly they began their descent, while Commander Gray sipped his coffee.

The energy of the minds surrounding it fully awakened the ancient vessel. A probable candidate was detected, and the vessel half buried in the earth opened it's primary access hatch, revealing an old seat bound in a leather like material. Helga would be able to see inside the vessel with only a few steps closer, the small portion of it that surfaced belying the size of the vessel.

In orbit, the aschen imperial ship would begin detecting massive surges of energy. Energy at levels beyond that found in stars, beyond that found in entire galaxies. If they were to look only at the scanners, they could assume that below them, just beneath the surface, lay all the explosive power from the creation of the universe, condensed and contained into a space equal to about a starship fighter. Commander Gray would feel a slight tickle at the back of his mind, before an unbidden thought came to his mind, as though whispered in his ear. "The power of creation lays just within your grasp.... You should take it before it is taken from you...."

The shuddering in the earth caused by Imai would be recipicated by the vessel. It would shudder in and of itself, pulling slight out of the earth and revealing more of it's form. A tint of red and gold gilded the vessel, and a shimmering of energy, so thin and imperceptible, it seemed almost an illusion.

A sudden, powerful surge of fear would pass over any mortal creatures nearby. An unknown dread felt by those beings ever haunted by times inescapable finality. It is the feeling of doom, the impossible to deny, yet unacceptable feeling that a terrible thing is soon to happen. It is the fear that preceeds the storm...

A whisper would pass throughout the very skiens of reality. A single word, heard throughout the entirity of the universe.

"Soon..."

Colleen heard the terror in her companions voice and immediately started heading towards the ship landing, trying to keep cool. Although her automatic scan immediately picked up another ship and that whole signature was impossible to deny, "Oh fuck me, great the Aschen joined the party, not like we ever needed help, but now because of this nonsense they decide we are worthy of attention." of course she speaking to no one, this was merely verbal annoyance. Nonetheless she immediately patched through to Facility, "Hey, Mac get out of the red carpet our most illustrious masters are landing." there was grunt on annoyance on the intercom, "Christ, I thought we had done with them for at least a year, just keep me detailed, also how is Helga?" pausing she stopped just climbing one of the many dunes, "It is good, there is other issues, one a ship not Aschen landed very close by, believe it may be some prick trying to break someone out, Helga discovered some sort of anomaly, we split up..." she said the last two words more quietly, but at once she felt his anger, "YOU DID WHAT?" growling in annoyance she cut the feed.

She would deal with these repercussions later, now was the other issue, "Colleen MacFadden addressing the Captain the ship in our atmosphere, we have everything under con---" just as she spoke the ground shook violently, "Oh fuck it, yeah all hell broken loose. I am sorry if I seem peeved, well this was just meant to be a usual inspection of perimetre and now holy shit everything gone to pot. You are clear to land." awaiting a response she finally reached top of the dune.

As her eyes scan through the wind, Colleen sighed in utter fatigue noting the ship-like thing, "Well, best introduce myself, let's see if I can patch through to that ship." pausing she configured her intercom automatically before finding the correct frequency, "Sir, Madam this is a Penal Colony you must leave now or you shall be dealt with by extreme measures. I would advise you send your ship back wherever it came from."

Hoping this got through, she finally patched through to Helga, "So you know how things could not get much better Helga, well now the Aschen are here and they pretty much demanded to land, so yeah everything FUBAR and this is bound to end in someone dying..." pausing with halted breath she went on, "I know you don't like them, neither do I, they only come when something untoward happens..."

Helga took a guarded step back as the hatch opened and revealed an old leather bound seat and something more. eldritch energies abound and unknown technology caused the Witch Hunter's scanners to go off along with another annoyance. Several holo-screens popped up before Helga as she ran several scans upon the vessel before her while simultaneously getting readouts of an Aschen ship in high orbit.

"More problems. Just what I need." Helga muttered over the communication link only to then shake her head and began to cast several spells create wards between her and the influence of the ship. It was only when she finished her final incantation and the spell went into effect that the ripple caused by the strange ship caused only a minor shiver to run down her spine and Colleen buzzing in with his own bad news.

"Ya I hear you. Do me a favor and have your boys move my ship someplace where it wont be detected. I doubt the pleasures they bring will be any good." Helga began to cough as she looked over the ship even further. "Actually I am sure they are here for this ship."

As Russian continued across the planets surface, two things caught his attention. The first thing that caught his attention was a large object was was getting picked up by his radar systems, he soon scanned the object which turned out to be a battleship class ship which interested him. "And who do you suppose called the military to this planet? Well that question wont be answered by anyone so I guess that means my job may get a little more dangerous." After talking to himself, his mech suit picked up an unusual surge of energy which began to signal some alarms about a powerful energy source on the planet. "Well unless the planet is actually a living organism, then I have no clue what the heck is producing this amount of energy."

Russian's ship soon received a radio signal and although the pilot was not inside his ship to answer the radio call, the ship transferred the call to the pilots separate radio which he picked up and answered in a bright tone. "Oh so this planets a Penal Colony, I feel bad for the poor bastards that are sent here. But as for your orders to leave now or you are going to use extreme measures, I have a job that needs to be done here. So apologies about not leaving the planet but a jobs a job, and a guy needs money to get some food and drinks. Sure having titles like "The Savior Of Earth" or "Hero Of The Galactic War" would certainly be good enough to get anything you wanted for free, but sadly money always beats good will. Oh and the names Russian by the way, in case you or your friends decide to yell at me when you find me." Russian answered back into his radio.

Russian turned off the radio and continued across the planets surface, now bringing up multiple screens in his mech suit and patching into his ships camera systems to personally keep an eye on his ship. Whoever contacted him must have contacted his ship first, and that means that someone has noticed his ship. "Well I better be getting extra danger pay once this jobs over."

The commander felt the tingle, and it prompted a fairly quick reaction.

The spike in energies were pinpointed by the Iconoclast's sensors, and with a location fix, the War Adepts could be deployed, to secure whatever it was that was going down on the surface.

Gray gestured slightly, and the Iconoclast shifted once more.

"Looks like the prison is having some issues. I've got adepts to investigate the anomaly on the surface." He said, before he sent a message to the facility.

"This is the Inomine Veritas, We were dispatched to investigate some unsual activity going on in this part of the system." Gray said aloud into the communication system.

----

Above the strange eldritch ship, a deafening roar could be heard as a single drop pod began it's descent through Chiron-Delta's harsh atmosphere. A long fiery streak came about as the roar grew even louder, and the drop pod impacted the ground with a deafening crash several meters away from the strange ship.

The door to the pod popped open, and a towering, hulking power armored figure emerged wielding a heavy magnetron rifle. His enhancements and the self contained power armored suit protected him from Chiron Delta's harsh environment. With a grunt he switched on the suit's wide-range scanners, searching for life signs as he racked the heavy Magnetron rifle, a powerful weapon that fired 20mm self propelled explosive slugs at high velocities.

With another grunt, Tidus took a step forward, his helmet obscuring his face as he looked around. Heavy footsteps forward, the massive 6 ton hulk moved towards the ship.

With all this insanity going on, Colleen felt intense pressure, but Helga had been a friend and well it should not be too hard to hide the ship. Restarting intercom to the base she patched through, "Mac, I know you wanna yell at me, but bigger issues, Aschen are coming and the ship from Mars Corp, hide it." there was silence before the reply almost seeming like it was glaring at her, "Colleen, when all this bullshit is over, you and Helga owe me explanation, but we had assumed ship would need to hide, we placed it in the underground hanger, it's never used but still functional." nodding she acknowledged, "Okay, well I got things handled I think, something big is going on and this dude flying a ship in our airspace he had no idea this was Penal Colony. I don't know the deal, but as soon as I get more, you will be first I tell. Now I gotta cut the feed and talk to others."

Doing so she quick patched into the Aschen ship, "You are now clear to land, our automative air defenses are shut down so you can land outside the prison. We also gathered everyone out of the prison ready for inspection, in case this is a transfer to move some of the individuals to Hadante." awaiting a response she would continue to watch the ship through the dust storm, while sighing in frustration. After a bit a reply would come and Colleen would reply, "Roger, I'll give you codec for Warden's line so you can speak directly to him. I am merely a soldier/guard so I can't handle anymore." transferring the codes she immediately opted to end the transmission.

Moving on to Helga she spoke up, "Your ship is in the disused Underground Hanger, it's still functioning, but rarely used except when we have guests who are not popular with our lords and masters. I realize this is huge Helga, but well the other thing is guy in ship, claims he had no idea this was a penal colony. There is something amiss and I intend to find out what. I'll keep you in the know, I ain't very popular right now with how I keep blowing off Mac. May need to use some of your considerable influence to make sure I keep my job. Anyway, your ship is hidden and Aschen shall be landing in roughly half an hour. So everything is fantastic." rolling her eyes she awaited response patientely and replied back, "Just be careful Helga, the Aschen being here I doubt they are here to investigate the Prison, more likely they are interested in this anomaly, that suggests bad tidings for all."

Finally she once more restarted feed to the mystery ship, "Okay fuck politeness here. Get the fuck off this planet before we train the Anti-Air defenses to your signature and completely blow your ship apart. I am done being courteous, shit has hit the fans and I ain't dealing with this, if you don't comply I shall send the Aschen your signature and have them deal with it. You have ten minutes if you don't comply then you will be stuck here and I ain't going to help you." yeah Colleen had utterly had enough of this whole thing, she just wanted normality.

The interior of the vessel seemed old, dusty, and yet exuded an unmistakable sentience. The closder Tidus came to it, the more this impression of sentience came to him. A wordless whispering emanated from the vessel, beckoning to him, promising him power and freedom. No sound came from the vessel, rather the whisperings were only heard within the minds of those nearest to it. Further out, one could not hear the mutterings, but would feel the dread that comes with being in the presence of something unwholesome.

Far above in his Capital ship, the captain would continue to here that half whispered thought in the back of his mind. "Do you trust another to wield this power.... Can you trust any to wield this power." The whispering would say to him, raising doubts and questions to him.

Helga would find, after sealing her suit, that the strange influence of the vessel was no longer present in her mind. Indeed it would seem that the vessel had begun to ignore her, to see her as unworthy. This thought, though not quite her own, would present itself to her. What is it about her that was inferior. What is it about her that doesn't deserve that greatness?

Colleen would find a distinct thought intruding itself upon her mind. "Can I really let the aschen have something like this? What would the consequences be? What horrors would they unleash, tampering with things they don't understand?" The thoughts in her head would swirl and turn, questioning and testing her loyalties and decisions.

The Russian would feel a tingle in his spine, as something crossed his mind that seemed to have crossed it every day for all his life, and yet he would not be able to recall having ever thought so before. "Am I free? What am I doing here, isn't there something more I could be doing?" These words would form in his mind, as would an image of the entombed vessel currently under perusal by the others. "Why shouldn't I have that power? Why shouldn't I take it?" He would ask himself, or so it would seem to him, as under those thoughts an observations, a subtle, yet unmistakable laughter was present.

Indeed this laughter seemed to saturate everything surrounding the vessel, and yet it would be hidden, all but imperceptible, as though it were only imagined by those present. And once again that single unspoken word echoed in the minds of the mortal races throughout the galaxy. "Soon..."

Helga smiled at the swiftness that Colleen and her comrades.

"Thanks. Hopefully this won't take long. I just need....." Suddenly a loud thunderous crash could be heard as Tidus landed just several meters away sending debris in all direction and causing Helga to flinch slightly even though her shields and wards protected her from the oncoming chunks of earth and dust.

"Colleen I seem to have come in contact with the party. This might be a bit." Helga frowned only to turn herself fully towards the lumbering figure that stepped out of the landing pod only to first initially begin a full scan of the armored hulk and its weaponry. Once her initial scans did their job she would dematerialize her weapons and fold her arms across her chest.

"So the Aschens are interested in whatever this construct is!" Helga spoke up only take a single step forward towards the soldier in what appeared to be rather bulky power armor. "I have no intentions of standing in your way. Obviously I am outclassed and outgunned, nice firepower by the way, I only ask that I am allowed to take a closer look?" The Witch Hunter of Terra awaited any kind of response while simalaniously keeping up her wards and shields just in case what she received was something along the lines of deadly intent.

As the threat of having his ship blown up, Russian spoke into his radio in the most sarcastic tone he could muster. "Oh man! Don't go and destroy my ship! That thing was seriously expensive!" He soon chuckled a bit before getting serious, or at the very least non-sarcastic. "I would very much ask you to reconsider the whole blowing up my ship and sending some people after me. You see I have had people, squads, battalion, even nations think they could threaten me...or threaten to blow up the place I live at. Anyways that's besides the point, point is that every person that has threatened me is now dead and those nations are now smoldering craters, albeit I had some help from a couple of pals and large military figures...but I did most of the work so technically I did it myself. So if you think I am just blowing smoke up my ass, be my guest and shoot down my ship and send these "Aschen" forces to find me, but don't blame me when I come knocking on your doorstep to wreck the place and free every single prisoner I see just because you made me mad." He finished replying before snagging a chocolate bar from a glove compartment and began to chow down.

As Russian began to eat his candy bar, he began to look through his ships cameras in case the person on the radio decided to actually start destroying his ship which in that case he was prepared to fly that thing back to orbit. While he did this he felt a small tingle in his spine as something crossed his mind. "Am I free? What am I doing here, isn't there something more I could be doing?" Those words forming in his find which seemed familiar but not familiar at the same time. He soon had images of an entombed vessel followed by some people already on their way to it. "And to think all I had to deal with were regular military personal and planetary guards, now I have to deal with some type of psychic entity which is transmitting words in my head. Whats next? An entity coming out from below the surface which then begins to destroy everything in sight...I might be overthinking it a bit..." He spoke to himself before continuing to walk across the planets surface.

The Commander was slowly growing perturbed at the whispered thoughts, the temptations offered by this strange entity below. But the Commander did what any good officer of the Empire would do.

"Heresy!" He shouted, catching the attention of his entire bridge crew as he rubbed his brow. "Position main batteries alpha through gamma onto the planet, full salvo fire, enter targeting coordinates three nine seven carom one two eight!" He ordered, still trying to dismiss the whispering in his mind.

The massive battleship shuddered and rolled slightly, exposing it's complement of massive deck guns towards the moon below. With a thunk that shuddered throughout the entire Iconoclast battleship, three massive tri-barreled gun turrets elevated and swiveled to life, their targeting systems calibrating and locking onto the planet below.

One of the Bridge officers turned to face the Commander, before he spoke up. "Batteries are calibrated and ready to fire on your command. Be advised we have an adept on the surface who may be caught in the salvo."

The Commander nodded, before he turned to his executive officer.

"We must report this to the Confessor Cabal. Keep the gun batteries armed but do not fire. Open a channel to the surface." He ordered. At that moment, the Iconoclast began to broadcast a wide-frequency transmission.

"Attention all those who can recieve this message. This is the Inomine Veritas, of the United Aschen Empire's Fleet of Righteous Vigilance. We've come here because we've detected several strange anomalies. I require further information before I decide what course of action to take." He said, awaiting a reply.

On the surface the lone Adept approached the strange vessel, growling to himself as the suit's psionic and magical defense systems engaged, with the intention of isolating the Adept's mind from the strange influence that seemed to permeate the area.

The hulking figure took yet another step forward, his heavy Magnetron rifle raised up.

Suddenly, a silence fell over everything. The laughing ceased, the whispering stopped, everything was quiet. The only sound to be heard were no more psionic than the sighing of the wind...

For whatever reason, this would seem even more frightening than anything else. The vessel stood there, empty and foreboding. The single pilots seat beckoning and at once terrifying. The vessel itself did nothing.

High in orbit, the captain would seem to have won a small victory, for not only did the whisperings stop, but all influence from the vessel ceased. At the same time though... The impression that something was grinning at him, that whatever entity had been attempting to play with his mind had a smug smile directed towards him.

The silence was broken then, as the entity spoke clearly and directly for the first time, and everything, living or not, artificial or natural, reverbrated with it's voice, as though the very fabric of reality was it's vocal cord. "Despair.... There is... Nothing.... That you can do.... To stop... me..."
