Niho
Niho is a highly skilled warrior who is willing to do just about any job so long as the pay is high enough. He also has limited powers over the undead.

Description
He is tall and thin, with pale skin and violet hair. Niho wears a loose-fitting black robe, a white undershirt, and a tattered white scarf. He has piercing blue eyes of the most icy shade imaginable.
Personality
Niho finds it easy to pretend to be a caring gentle person, but in reality he is self-centered and uncaring. Everything he does is cold and calculating, though always veiled with sugar-coated lies. Often-times, he'll put on an overly friendly facade when he wants another to do something for him. Niho is quite manipulative, skilled at playing with people's emotions. Everything is a tool to be used, and everyone is ultimately expendable in his great quest for power.
Equipment
Niho is armed with his ancestral sword, Black Razor. This weapon, forged from black steel, was plundered from White Plume Mountain by his great-grandfather, and has been passed down through the generations ever since. He also carries his spell book. Many of the spells within were copied from the dreaded Necronomicon itself.
History
Niho was trained in the art of swordsmanship by his father, who taught him that no one is above 'fighting dirty'. Niho's mother schooled him in the dark art of Necromancy.
Niho travels the land often, sometimes alone, sometimes with companions. In between journeys, the unscrupulous villain schemes and plots various and unscrupulous ways to better himself. Niho was once a follower of the demon god Orcus, Prince of The Undead. Now, however, he is unwittingly a servant of Valenessa, just one more cog in her grand machinations.
So begins...
Niho's Story
Niho enters the bar cautiously, surveying his surroundings carefully. He crosses the room and sits at the bar, motioning for HellShine to take his order.
"Well, aren't we a pleasant waitress..." Niho chuckled. "I'll take a shot of rum, and perhaps some information."
The young man downed the shot of rum in one swift gulp, then handed her two gold coins. "One's for the rum, the other's for talking," he explained to her. "As far as the information I'm looking for ... have you heard or seen anything ... unusual lately?"
Niho arches an eyebrow at the unusually mouthy waitress. He then handed her two more coins. "There's your tip. And no, I'm not new here, and I'm not a kid. I know this place is a strange one, and strange people come here often. I'm asking about something unusual, even for this place."
Niho lets out a despairing sigh. "Alright, let's cut to the chase, woman. I'm a man for hire. A mercenary, and one currently looking for work. Strange things usually mean a job opportunity, but obviously you aren't quite catching my drift. I'm looking for work. Know anyone who's hiring? Maybe you need something done yourself."
Niho bangs his head against the table, letting his long dark hair hide his face. "I'm not an assassin. I just do work ... can I get another drink, you aggravating wench?"
"For the love of GOD!" Niho roared angrily, rising from his chair and slamming his fist on the table. "Will you stop calling me a kid?!"
Niho glares angrily at BBC, his rum glass shattering in his tight grip. "You her bodyguard?" he asked indignantly. "Or are you just someone who likes to pick fights?"
Niho lets out a long, tired sigh, his gaze falling to the floor, his long hair obscuring his face. As he looks up once again, sweeping his hair out of his face, he smiles warmly as he slowly approaches BBC, extending his hand. "I'm sorry about the fuss I've caused," he said in a friendly tone. "It's been a very long and frustrating day. While no excuse, I hope you'll pardon my attrocious behavior."
Niho noticed the oddly rattling bottle on the counter, and walked over to it. He picked it up curiously, arching an eyebrow at what he found behind it. "A fairy?"
Niho smiled kindly at the small fairy behind the bottle. "No need to be frightened, little one. You'll find I'm a rather nice person. My name is Niho. Who are you?"
Niho as he extended his hand for Mink to land on, he shot a wicked glare over his shoulder at HellShine. He then smiled warmly at Mink before glancing over at Jared. "Ah, hello there."
Niho "Well, I assure you I'm quite kind to a damsel in distress," he chuckled before walking back to his table, carefully carrying Mink with him.
Niho "Well, a damsel in distress is a rather cliche way of saying 'a girl in trouble'," Niho explained to Mink. "You are a girl, and someone usually only hides when they are in trouble, so ..."
Niho "Heh, only sometimes ..." he muttered, though his smile never faded. "So, what promped a tiny forest creature like you to come to a city like this?"
