Creak, a whoosh, and a shut. A door opened in one of the pillars of the stone.
"So this must be the place." Okina let out. She floated silently and effortlessly on the small hill.
She heard various sounds of nature such as crickets cricks and water streams streaming.
Looking around, she only saw greenery and pillars. They looked esoteric and vague.
But she knows all the secrets of the one built building. After all, she is the god of secrets.

She had decided not to bring her two servants, Mai and Satono along.
Not because they would need to follow her everywhere, or because they were troublesome; well they were troublesome.
But she didn't need to. She was already powerful to withstand any battle. And if she did need them, all she had to do was snap her fingers and pull them to her. All effortlessly.

Anyways, she decided to wander around carelessly. Letting herself get distracted from what she needed to do.
So she put that as her top priority and decided to explore.

Causing the air to whirl, Okina floats across the swamp water.
Though it felt disrespectful to call it that way, as the water was as pure as the moon; reflecting the trees perfectly and without ripples. She felt a sense of serenity and calmness in the atmosphere. She glided letting her feet cause ripples in the water. There was almost no sound apart from the water. Beams of the rising sun shined through the partings of the tree leaves, revealing fish and wildlife in the swamp.

The glen was well hidden, out of sight from the ruins. Although it didn't matter to her due to her abilities. She knew that this leads her to her destination, so it wasn't all pointless. She could have just used a backdoor to get straight to their positions, but it would have been boring for her. She savoured the scenery while gliding the surface.

Eventually, she came to a stop after a few minutes of wandering.
Looking around once more, she looks at her reflection on the water. Seeing the leaves in the background.
It was refreshing seeing some new places. It wasn't like she was tired of Gensokyo's sights. But it nice to see some variety.
The morning birds were starting to chirp cheerily, in response to the rising sun. The cricket chirps had faded also away with the darkness. The trees seemed to part to welcome the new day.

She eventually decided to leave and go somewhere else. Only just to explore more.
Perhaps she could talk to the locals or something. She could out her task for later.
So with a snap, a door opened, creak, a whoosh, and a shut.

The sea waves beat against the yellow sand in the morning. Coming and going when it pleases.
The bobbing the waves made the usual sound a sea shore made. Mixed in with some sifting sands.
They would leave objects and trinkets of estoric origins on the shore, taking some of them back when they receded. The sun reflected on the steady vast ocean of the place. On the opposite side of the parting was flourishing greenery. Serving a nice contrast to the bright yellow eastern seaboard. The overall sight was pretty and satisfying to look at.

A gush of wind suddenly came from nowhere. Circling a specific point in the space.
The wind cause some small waves in the ocean, washing the sand wetter.
They started whirling and twisting like a small tornado until eventually a vertical white line formed.
It glowed a bit illuminating a bit of the sand. Eventually a door formed and the winds stopped.
Creak, and Okina stepped out of the wooden gate, creaking the support at the bottom.

She looked around the beautiful landscapes of the shores and tides.
Sitting down on the wet and dry sand, she pulled out a cup of tea out of another door.
Drinking the soothing drink would be perfect on this morning.
”Hey, that’s my drink!-” Shut, went the door.
She calmly closed her eyes in peace, admiring the sounds of the ocean.

Today was a good day...The sun was shining, the air was clean...And no sign of assassins attacking him as far as the eye could see. Yeah, maybe he needed a small quiet place to relax for a bit. It was a vacation long overdue.

The mercanary known as Russian, self proclaimed number one mercanary in the universe. Here he was walking on foot with a bag on his back, weapon slung over his shoulder and eyes ahead to the beach. After being attacked by all sorts of things recently, one involving cats firing off nuclear missiles...Sometimes he wondered if his drinks were spiked with something. And to top it all off some people were very persistent in killing him. One assasin and one android in particular. However, he managed to sneak away into a remote location.

He was certainly hoping this little slice of heaven would go uninterrupted. And besides, a day at the beach was what the doctor ordered. Once he felt the sand under his boots, Russian took off his bag and tossed it on the ground in front of him before giving it a good kick. As a master of technology, he never left home unprepared. The bag began to unfurl on itself, slowly reforming and expanding.

As the bag was busy doing its own thing Russian began to unbutton his uniform, because one he was at the beach. He rather not get sand or get it all soaked. And two...It was actually warm. And two, it was the beach...If he was going to lounge around might as well do it in more casual wear.

Once he was finished, he tossed his uniform into a tent that had finished sprouting from a bag, he then followed it up by tossing his cap into the tent as well before grabbing a towel and spread that on the sand before finally laying down on it with a satisfied sigh.

"All I need now is a drink and this would be perfect..." He spoke to himself as he soaked up some of the suns rays.

Eventually, Okina had finished the cup of tea she pulled out.
She threw the cup away in another backdoor, somewhere nearby in shore, hearing a clink before closing it again.

She stood up from the sandy shores, letting the wind flow around her.
She took a few steps towards the border of the ocean, letting her boots get wet.
Okina looked around the area when she spotted the tent that Russian had laid.
”Oh, it must be a local.” Okina said. She was planning to talk to one, just to get some information on the planet.

She wasn’t in the mood to fly as to break the calming atmosphere, so she just started walking to the set up tent.

"Hmmmm...Maybe I should bring down something to drink. To celebrate my first hour of not getting killed." Russian laughed to himself until he heard a pair of footsteps walking on the sand. Normally, he would care less...However it seemed that they were walking to him.

Sitting up a bit and turning to face whoever was walking to him, and what he noted was...Some girl in some traditional looking attire. Maybe eastern garbs, but hell if he knew what it really was. Well, he never encountered children assassins before so must be someone coming out of curiosity or to ask him a question.

And he almost got worked up...Jeeze, with a shrug he laid back down as he grabbed a small remote from his hip and pressed a button. A good time as any to call down some fine drink he got from Wing City.

Upon the mentioning of his name, Russian jolted upright and quickly turned around. "I'm not surprised that you know my name. But if your looking for trouble I am more than ready for a fight." He warned. Of course, now that he had a closer look, she was not a girl. Maybe his eye sight was going bad...Yeah, if that happened hell would need to freeze over first.

Okina examined the suddenes of Russian’s defence. Looking at him unwavering and unintimidated.
”I do not come to you with any harm, unless you want to end up laying on the shores”.
She wasn’t one to be suprised at anything. Though, she was offended a bit at how he thought she was a child.
Okina liked his blaring attitude and personality. She preferred people who stand out.

"Well, I prefer to lay down on the shores without the whole loss of life deal. I prefer relaxing alive rather than dead you know. But alright, if your not an enemy then I'll bite." Russian shrugged a bit as he relaxed. Well, at least she appeared friendly for now. That could change and she could plant a blade in his neck from behind but when someone appears suddenly and can try a very quick fatal attack at the beginning...Chances are they are actually friendly.

”So, why are people out for your blood?” Okina asked.
A backdoor maerialized behind her, with fancy linings on the inside. It was pretty much her throne.
She sat down on the majestic seat, though it could be more like sitting on air.
Russian was more calm than the Youkai in Gensokyo she thought. It wasn’t surprising why to her.
The battles are fun. But she needn’t think about that now. This was really just a break for her
To go somewhere. Okina examined the calm seas.

Russian raised an eye, well he did phrase it well but conversation seemed alright for now. A good way to pass the time anyways. "Well, I'm a mercanary. People pay me to avoid dirt on their hands. It's a job that gets plenty of enemies. I ain't no good guy or bad guy. Just business after all." He replied.

Of course seeing her sit on...Well it looked like a door. It was fancy he would give her that. Soon enough a small capsule landed a bit close to his head for comfort with an audible thud, of course as it opened up he grabbed a bottle of aged wine sitting on some ice and opened it up.

Judging by her reaction, it seemed that she was unfamiliar with technology. Well, from his observation she might have magical capabilities. Like a certain woman he met one day who was a pretty good mage. But that was besides the point, perhaps she was unfamiliar with technology.

With a swig straight from the bottle, he gave a satisfied sigh before sitting up. "Oh that? It's nothing special. Think of it like a box made of metal. It holds things in it for delivery, like this fragile bottle of wine." He explained giving the bottle a shake.

"Oh, not the cooler; Why you would have your drinks thrown at you? Next thing you know, you wouldn't need an assassin to be killed." She once again opened a backdoor and pulled out another bottle of wine.

"Oh that...Yeah, sometimes I forget that when I call in objects, it's very pinpoint..." Russian spoke eying the cooler. "I have a tendency to have more close calls with my own things..." He added before turning to face the woman. Well, he never got her name. Might as well.

"So, a fan of drinks as well miss?..." Russian started in some form of manners. Of course, having a normal conversation was rare for him without his close friend.

"Okina." She said without relating to the current question.
She removes the top effortlessly, as well a pulling another cup from another backdoor.
"I'm just seeing your delicacies". She only wanted to know the lifestyle of various people living here.
The impression she got was currently a mix of mundane to interesting. She's just getting a little sidetracked from the original reason she came here.

This man was entertaining her in the meantime. Even though they talked for not very long.
The impression she got from him was a laid back man with many grudges against the man. He reminded him of an old acquaintance Okina had. "I wonder how you fare in combat?" She asked. She wasn't going to provoke a fight. She again was just learning about the place and its practices.

"My delicacies?..." Russian questioned as he slowly began to piece things together. Well, mages were rather powerful from his experience. He would not put it past her that she might have grabbed a bottle from his own storage. "Enjoy, that brand dates back plenty of generations ago. I made sure to buy plenty while I could. You are like...the second best company I had. Granted everyone else has tried to kill me so it's easy to say that much." He laughed a bit.

When her questioned turned to how well he did in a fight, he just shrugged. "On my own, I'm no better than your trained elite soldier. I fight with technology, weapons, mechs, and heavy firepower or calling in a few allies. I don't fight fair, but when your life is on the line...Well you make sure you keep your life." He spoke taking a new swig from his bottle.

This was his second most pleasant thing so far, the impression he got from her?...He was still reading into that...

"Yeah, if you can talk you best back it up with actions. I mean, I am can do both but of course I don't make fights first. Waste of money, but when people shoot you first then it becomes personal." Russian shrugged as he replied taking another swig of his wine.

Okina thought of an idea. "Why don't we have a duel?" Okina suggested. She wasn't going to make a difficult challenge, just around a fraction of her strength would service. She was starting to grow fond of the man. Perhaps if all the townspeople were like him she might spend a long time in the area.

"A duel? Jeeze, never heard a word like that in like forever. It's always 'I'm gonna kill you' or 'I'm gonna rob you blind' or whatever people say these days. Hell people usually only say 'let's fight' but...Wait...Not to sound like a coward because I'm far from it but what's in it for me? I usually don't do things like this for free. I mean, my style of combat involves a lot of money." Russian spoke. He was not against the idea, but he rather not dent his pockets in the process.

”Oh well.” Okina said.
She could just find another person, not like he’s the only one that could fight.
”I do plan on going soon, so do you know any locations of interest?”
