Although his line of sight could not be traced, it were obvious that the figure were studying the inhabitants of Gambit's Bar. To which extent, however, is that which eludes those who would think on it. The longer this person remained in the vicinity, the more intense the eerie feeling exuding from his frame became. That uneasy feeling of the unknown spreading throughout the bar and what untold intentions lie in wait within such an ominous aura would surely enervate those around him. And as if he were oblivious to this effect, the male remained statuesque and silent as if waiting... watching...

Onii notes the approach of one of Gambit's many inhabitants but remains as he were, unmoving and silent, allowing only the widening of his grin to serve as a sign to his acknowledging of the other. For this man to abruptly decide to stand and walk over meant that something was on his mind and this shade was curious to find out exactly what it was. The subtle shifting of the cloak in which he adorned gave the impression that there existed naught but air beneath it, though one could clearly see outline of a frame beneath the cloth. The indirect articulation birthed by a newcomer toward his person warranted his quick retort, "Aye, not that such would ever occur of course..." Although one thing was spoken, it were as if something entirely different had left his lips; Something hidden in his words.

Onii remained still in his stance, his gaze assumed to be fixated forward though with his oculars consumed in thick shade, it were near impossible to surmise exactly what it were that held his attention. "I suppose then that it is a good thing that I am not an assassin, skilled or not..." Even with the small confession, it revealed virtually nothing about the true nature of this character.

Acknowledging the arrival of this businessman toting a preposition, Onii would allow a small chuckle to escape him. "Sir, It is my displeasure to inform your person that I am already employed... permanently. Your inquiries, should they still stand, may still receive answers you wish."

Onii remained silent for a time as if contemplating the offer before words began to once more pour forth from him, "To those that own me... Sir, if I may. I am no mere thug for hire awaiting handouts in this cesspool. I am a... Man with a message. A Messenger you see. However-" Trailing off while gesturing to his right where the female stood beside him, "Perhaps she may be of some assistance in that department."

Onii turned toward the warrior and nodded lightly once, "So I've heard..." Despite her advice however, he merely turned back toward the businessman. "Power, Influence, Riches, Souls... These things hold no bearing over me. A messenger has little need for power or influence, nor money or souls. I doubt I am even qualified to partake in this small venture of yours however I thank you for your offer."

Hidden amongst a veil of shadows, A lone figure watched the transpire events with mock attentiveness and interest, wondering by some chance if conflict would eventuate between the three individuals. With darkened attire, a lack of scent, a shadow's silence, and the absence of presence did the shrouded being watch, positioned a fair distance away where keen hawk eyes could examine the trio in peace.

The shade exercised perfect stillness as it observed, appearing more a statue than anything else. It's intention was that of reconnaissance; Observing and collecting a certain type of information, though it seemed as though what it sought was not present amongst those within this vicinity. Despite this, the shade remained, if only out of mild curiosity.

Ah, even in hopelessness, something arises which makes the wait worthwhile. Perhaps this information, the location of this figure, could be used a bargaining tool one way or another. Perfect. The shade would make a mental note of his findings. Another would accompany the first on this woman, Raen, and her missing kin. Perhaps something fruitful would spawn from following her investigation, or proceeding with one of his own...

With an unseen arrival, a figure draped in shadows entered the establishment and progressed inward, keeping to areas where the light was dim and the inhabitants were few. Light footed and swift, the lone figure settled inconspicuously upon the wall, his attention, although unable to be read from beneath his hood, passed around the room once before settling on The Face.

An eerie air would pass throughout the room, weaving and wrapping around it's inhabitants before subtly dying down. With it's end, the illumination within the establishment would flicker and dim for several moments before returning to normal. Naught had changed during those few moments except that a new presence had entered and settled. Appearing a statuesque figure draped in a shadowy silk, standing silently toward the rear section of the room, Onii watched the proceedings of the bar with mild intrigue.

The subtlest of movements would reveal life in motion within the thick foliage, it's exact location obscured by the forest's natural ambiance, making it increasingly difficult to pinpoint the lurkers' whereabouts. It was a trivial matter however as the culprit behind the minor disturbance revealed himself; With reserved, short strides the figure approached the two, a coy expression playing in his countenance.
