Personality

As a Zabrak, Shaka is very single-minded and determined, able to carry out the task at hand with vicious tenacity and brutal efficiency. He is a warrior at heart, and is always seeking the plains of battle. He occasionally slips into bouts of hubris, but he utilizes his training an upbringing as a Mandalorian in order to keep his pride from consuming him. As a Mando'ad, he is tactful, cunning and highly intelligent. In battles against multiple targets, he tends to focus on eliminating the strongest opponent first, and either wrangling the lesser foes into submission, or destroying resisters. Shaka is also quite skilled at stalking his prey, and relishes the opportunity for a hide-and-seek hunting campaign.

Abilities & Equipment

Superior Physicality - Shaka's training as a Mandalorian has granted him supreme physical prowess. At the peak of physical fitness, he possesses excellent strength, stamina, and agility.

Teräs Käsi Mastery - The fighting style of Teräs Käsi has aided Shaka on several hunts with Force-sensitives, allowing him the ability to fight off their mental assaults, as well as being able to stand toe-to-toe with them without the use of Force powers.

Stava Mastery - A brutal combat style developed by the Noghri. This fighting style focuses on aggressive assaults, made with the intent of fighting an opponent head-on. Being in constant motion while delivering short, powerful blows are the keys to achieving victory through Stava. Shaka utilizes the elements of this technique primarily in one-on-one combat, seeking to put an end to the conflict as soon as possible.

Wrruushi Mastery - Martial art of the Wookiees, Wrruushi is a form of brutal combat that centers around striking vital parts of the body, made to end fights before they can truly begin. Shaka combines this with his repertoire of combative styles in order to bring down opponents that prove to be more of a challenge than others, crippling them before they can in turn inflict serious damage.

Broken Gate Mastery - This style owes its creation to the Jedi, who developed it as a means of static defense, allowing the combatant to deflect attacks while rooted to a single spot. While movement is not particularly easy with Broken Gate, it's focus on leg strength and hip motion makes it ideal for Shaka to achieve mixed-in throws and blocking forceful attacks.

Paonga Mastery - The Gungan martial art which makes grappling a priority. Paonga does not utilize many striking attacks, but instead its practitioners aim for the limbs, seeking to pull their opponents' joints out of socket, and to utilize throws to effectively incapacitate the enemy. Shaka blends this style with Broken Gate in order to attain better throws, in order to set his opponents up for ensnarement.

Katranin Mastery - Katranin is a fighting style that deals with using blades in combat. The focus of shoulder strength as opposed to that of the arms is the main goal, granting the fighter a much stronger strike with the weapon in hand. Shaka took on this fighting style early, using it in tandem with his melee weapons for greater killing blows.

3-BB Devilhound Blaster - A double-barreled blaster that alternates fire between trigger pulls. Modified for rapid fire and improved accuracy, the 3-BB is a sturdy and trustworthy mid-range weapon, capable of firing 120 shots to a charge. Shaka keeps this weapon holstered on his right thigh for quick-draw access.

Koppler & Koppler Dawnshredder Pulse Rifle - A sleek, powerful rifle meant for rapid-fire capabilities, discharging a series of micro-bursts of ion energy. The Dawnshredder has been modified for greater ammunition capacity at the cost of range, making it a mid-range weapon. It is outfitted with a lightweight carbon alloy frame and multi-ventilation system to prevent overheating. Shaka keeps this weapon on a sling around his torso, enabling him to swing the weapon into his hands in an instant. Fires off forty shots before needing to reload.

JS-141 Sniper Rifle - A blaster rifle outfitted with a 20x auto-adjust zoom. An extended barrel allows for very long range fire, and an advanced recoil dampening system reduces kick by a large margin. Fires ten shots between charges.

1010-H Waraxe Thermal Detonator Launcher - An attachment for the Dawnshredder, this weapon hurls thermal detonators; highly unstable grenades made of thermite and axidite. Inside aeach thermal detonator is a small amount of baradium, a volatile substance with a high yield. Blast radius: 20m; Kill radius: 7m. Houses a maximum of five thermal detonators.

DRM-09 Disruptor Rifle - A compact semi-automatic disruptor carbine. It fires three shots at a time, with a range of nine meters. This weapon produces a high amount of energy and is able to tear apart its targets' cellular bonds, effectively eviscerating any living thing caught in the cross hairs.

C-12 Flamethrower - A wrist mounted flamethrower that discharges an ignited liquid capable of large amounts of destruction. It has a short range, but is effective when dealing with multiple enemies, especially if said enemies are in an enclosed space. Can burn continuously for approximately two and a half minutes before empty.

VZ-31 Missile Launcher - Shoulder-mounted launcher that fires homing missiles, programmed to target an enemy via Shaka's helmet HUD. Holds a maximum capacity of four missiles.

Harbinger Techblade - A one-handed melee weapon outfitted with a single-edged blade that emanates an electromagnetic force. It is a devastating cutting weapon, with an amplified impact force due to the electromagnetic systems.

Slugthrower Rifle - A lever action rifle that utilizes an explosive substance to hurl a projectile from the chamber. Primitive compared to the blaster, but nonetheless effective in blaster-unfriendly environments.

Scatter Gun - A slugthrower that shoots a spread-shot projectile. Used at close range, it is a devastating weapon to those caught in the crossfire.

Slugthrower Pistol - A mid-range slugthrower pistol. Useful when a quick draw is necessary, and isn't as cumbersome as the rifle.

Holdout Blaster - A small, ten-shot blaster made especially for concealment. Shaka keeps this weapon as a matter of course, in case he is forced into a situation where he must disarm his primary weapons.

Grenades - A multitude of fragmentation, phosphorus, flash and pulse grenades, as well as thermal detonators.

Beskar Armor - Traditional armor made of Mandalorian beskar alloy. Separated plates adorn Shaka's body to allow for mobility. His helmet is made of the same material, bearing the standard T-shape visor. Equipped to the helmet is a HUD, which displays various information vital to Shaka's performance on any particular hunt. Painted on the crown of the helmet is a jaing skull, the mark of a Mandalorian.

Boot Thrusters - Thrusters inlaid into Shaka's boots, allowing for increased mobility. Used to achieve higher elevation or for horizontal access to distant structures.

Phantom Tyrant - A customized Sith Infiltrator. The Phantom Tyrant is a stealth ship, but has been outfitted for combat:

  • P-2B Solar Ionization Cannon
  • H-88 Laser Cannon x2
  • BG-1 Homing Missile x6
  • EMP Spike x4

On top of these, the Phantom Tyrant is also outfitted with an advanced stealth system, consisting of thrust trace dampers and a Stygium cloaking device.

History

Shaka was practically born into Mandalorian culture; His parents had been killed mere months after his birth, and the infant Zabrak was found and taken in by the human Drevas Kotas, who raised the baby as his own. Instructed in the ways of the Mando'ad, Shaka's already instinctive warrior virtues were strengthened by the resolve he attained through his rigorous training. As he grew older, he decided, like many of his people, to become a bounty hunter. He became revered for his prowess, being called a savage but cunning predator.

So begins...

"You missed," the armored Mando'ad said in jest, speaking to his kin from the darkness of the alleyway. Beneath his helmet, the Zabrak smirked, revealing sharpened teeth in the mischievous grin. "It is but a Sith, brother, surely you can manage killing it." He crouched, making his way over to Jolo's side before stopping in the shadows, peering out at the scene before them.

"Dar'jetii abounds, it seems. How do you plan on handling this?" He looked to his Mandalorian brother-in-arms, the smile still painted across his face hidden by his helemt.

Zoraka jumped clear of any attacks, throwing the Force lightning-covered rubble he had accumulated from the concrete towards the Sith and Deiyi. When he had achieved distance enough away from them, he held his ground waiting for another attack. He planted his feet into the ground, anticipating the next attack.

Thanos, having regained his senses, couldn't help but smile at the cowering Byron. He'd been fired upon, making Thanos breathe a sigh of relief. There was someone here that he'd get along with after all. Taking advantage of the confusion, he lobbed a pulse grenade at Byron. Should the grenade detonate near the fearful Sith, he would be fried by the electrical energy that would emanate from the canister.

"Copaani mirshmure'cye, vod?" The human Mando retorted, not needing to turn his head to see the familiar "face" of his unexpected companion. Flipping the rifle over his shoulder and hearing it click and lock in the hardpoint holster, he drew another few pieces of his arsenal. The first was an unusual sight, a weapon akin to a halberd. Held in his left hand near the bladed end, he hefted it as he pulled an odd looking grenade from its bandolier. The infamous Merr-Sonn G-20 Glop.

Triggering it for a three second delay, he twisted around, sidearming it backhand on a low path over the area, burning 1.3 seconds off the timer. "Muun'bajir, vod." Jolo quipped as he triggered his jetpack, a gout of flame propelling him up and out of the alley to land on the low rooftop next to him, just in time to witness the Glop's eruption of spray adhesive. Within a ten meter radius, the grenade sprayed a rapidly hardening foam adhesive that settled to a hardened state of concrete, the foam expanding on contact for maximum coverage. Sliding his grip down the beskar naginata's staff, the mercenary counted off the seconds till the foam would set before looking to drop into the area. Five, four, three, two, one...

Thai sighed as the other sith were fighting. Just because I'm an apprentice doesn't make me a 'kid'! She thought anger then she head the sounds of more explosions and finally with a decision she checked to see if she had her saber and she conditioner joining the others. She said stay on the ship... Thai thought when suddenly she came to a decision.

Turning on her heels she used the force to open one of the doors and found her way to the cockpit a place that was very familiar to her. Thai had been flying since she was 10 and and now had 7 years under her belt. Smiling she as she realized the ship was still on she jumped into the pilots seat to get a feel for the thing. Before slowly taking off.

The thing was larger than the fighters she was used to flying but it was nothing she couldn't handle with a bit of practice also she knew something of this size was more durable though Byron would probably feed her to a Rancor if she scratched it. Or that's what Thai would do if she had a ship like this.

Opening a comm to the docking bays owners she began to shout. "Open the door now, or I'll blast the thing Bosses orders." She said in a cooler voice than normal.

"A-alr--it" She heard in a scared tone. They must have be scared shitless of us. Thai thought with a smile as the docking bays door opened she brought the ship out and up to look over the streets she could see the fight below and brought the ship over the street slow keeping away from the fight she flew as if she were just flying a cargo mission and happened to be passing over the area.
------------
Isra continued forward and managed to make into a doorway alcove on the street before collapsing exhausted. She knew she needed to fight but the shocks from the collar were taking a serious toll on her body. "I--i must-" she exhaled before slipping from consciousness.

As the strange device ticked down Deiyi did the only thing she figured that would work to her advantage. She grabed Byron and practially threw him, his lightsabers following as if on strings. Then she herself jumped after Byron's flying form. leaving in her place a tiny device, no larger than a humanoids heart. A thought bomb. As soon as the glop hardened over i the bomb went off. sucking all life in a two meter radii into its core. at the same time Deiyi did her best to shield from the explsoing glop device.

What the hell ?

She then hid herself from view, completely. Using the force to hide was easy as a thought. She could not be sensed, targeted or even tracked. She felt to where the incoming projectile fire had come hence and while unseen went towards that direction. Deiyi however soon halted as the pulse grenade hit her left foot. Ah hell no! As the pulse grenade went off in her face she threw down a Force Shatterpoint in an effort to protect herself from the energy blast.

It was yet again Byron felt himself hit the ground once more but it was this time thanks to Deiyi. Just a few seconds short the four masked members of Byron's coterie showed up just at the nick of time only to draw their own sabers and rush into combat using the force to quicken their pace.

As Jolo ascended, landing on a nearby rooftop, Shaka couldn't help but shake his head. "Nice to see you, too," he said. He remained in the alleyway, curious to see how his Mando'ad brother would handle the situation.

Zoraka dashed clear of the Thought Bomb's blast radius, just barely avoiding his own soul being wrenched from himself. He held fast, unsure of what the Sith's next move would be. Suddenly, there was an explosion; one of Thanos' pulse grenades. Deiyi was caught in the blast, throwing up a barrier in order to protect herself.

Byron on the other hand was busy hiding from the attacks he had been suffering. "Byron! Quit your cowering and face me!" he roared. He stood facing the vehicle behind which the Sith had taken cover. However, Zoraka's attention would be diverted to the onslaught of advancing legionnaires hastily making their way to the battlefield. Zoraka brought up his saber, ready to face down the new opponents.

Shaka, in a bout of savage happiness, thought he might have to throw in his blaster for this fight. "Seems you may need my help after all, brother," he said to himself.

Cursing in the silence of his own helm, the Mando merc's overall strategy being forcibly altered by the sudden appearance of the enemy soldiers. Rapidly twisting the naginata in hand, he leaped forward, launching the polearm as a spear even as he gave a short jet from his pack to slow his descent. Hitting the ground running, Jolo drew his WESTAR-35 blaster pistols and ejected the full length of his gauntlet vibroblades, bringing both guns up and spewing a vicious barrage of bolts, his training and HUD proficiency giving him incredible accuracy as he shot for the throat.

35 shots to a pistol, and in the first two steps he took, he'd discharged nine shots apiece. His specialty was hunting jetiise and darjetiise, yet just as proficient was he in the basic engagement of superior numbers. Before coming to a full close, the jetpack spat fire again, the Mando sailing up and over the legionnaires, twisting to rain fire from on high.

Thai was on the ship when she felt her masters presence fading. Goodnight Lady Isra, Apprentice surpasses the master as always. She taunted in a final parting to the sith lady.

--------
Isra heard Thai from her unconscious state, and her taunting thoughts enraged her into an force mind state giving her thought. It made her angry that she was going to die on this street on this miserable rock. Enraged by this thought she turned this to passion and something clicked deep inside her soul. The amulet she had touched something deep inside her and as she felt her soul being pulled away she grabbed for it. Pouring in her passion and will to keep her alive and filing in the cracks with dark energy. For the brief moment she had touched the amulet she it had passed on an a dark new power, Dark Transfer. Now she was feeling her energy return and she roused from unconscious and was up on her feet her eyes dark an foreboding.

I will not fall here! My chains have been Broken and the force HAS set me free! Isra thought as she began to move from the door way she ignored the sounds of battle around her she only had one thing on her mind now. REVENGE

"GUNMAN GIVE ME BACK MY AMULET!" She barked her voice amplified over the sounds of battle through a force bellow. She was not going to be fooled so easily or fall so quickly this time.

When the pulse grenade went off at her feet Deiyi went flying a dozen or so meters backwards, crashing through a low stack of supplies not far from the site. A good dozen or more meters. Landing in a heap, slightly in a daze, the black haired woman blinked to regain he eyesight before just simply closing her eyes and sensing, reaching out with the Force for their attackers.

First and formost she sensed Thai Vong in the ship, flying the ship over head. Then she sensed the Sith Womans anger and thought briefly on how to handle that side of things before finally figuring on a path to take. She grabbed a cloth from a broken open supply box and covered her eyes. No more pulse grenades could strike her blinded for a few moments. Her vision would return, later.

With her face now covered, at least her eyes, she felt rather then saw her foes and for the moment, allies. Their directional of view, along with any weapons they carried or had aimed. Her first thought was the two Mandos. Let Byron deal with the Sith trying to goad him. She thought, for the moment focused on the spot occupied by the two armored figures. Without a sound she disappeared, hiding herself through the Force and throwing her pearlwhite lightsaber. Igniting it through the Force when it struck the supports of what the closer Mando, Or'gaan Kotas, stood upon. Severing the support beam in one throw.

Not caring if it sent the attacker to the ground or not she split the hilt of her staff saber into two seperate blades and ignited both, throwing one towards where Jolo stood, at least the supports under his perch. Her other blade she held in her hands to defend with.

She waited in the dead center of the pile of crates she had knocked over from the pulse grenade going off. With the force of the Force Shatterpoint exploding from the pulse grenade in her face, that is what sent her flying. But now she was ready. Her eyes covered, but her ears ever listening for movement.

Byron was not going to sit there and be belittled by some young fiery boy! No there would be no standing for such a thing when it was supposed to be such a simple mission. "You impudent little..." Suddenly the truck was flung foward towards the Dark Jedi giving Byron enough time to act and spring into motion sending ten of his blades towards Zoraka to fight him head on while the other five continued to spine around him at high speeds like multicolored buzz saws ready to deflect and decapitate anyone or thing that decided to get to close.

"I am Byron Irura, Sith Scholar and first apprentice under my master, Darth Mor the true Emperor of the Sith will know my deeds and congratulate me when I snuff out your light you worthless pup!" His words echoed with the force as he used it to amplify his own shout to devastating affect as it would harm any in the way and hurtle anything that was not securely locked down flying forward. It was with that the Byron's coterie rallied under their leaders shout and called upon the force themselves creating devastating winds that would entangle the assassins and send objects flying at them like dumpsters filled to the brim with trash and maybe the occasional homeless person.

Meanwhile above in the ship the young girl would find the targeting systems suddenly manned as a small droid came out from a panel in the wall only to greet her with a simple nod just to take its station next to her only to pull up the weapons systems for readied use.

The world around them was chaos. The large truck plummeted toward Zoraka, who barely managed to clear it with a jump. A Mandolorian, the presence he'd felt earlier, sprang from his post and began raining fire down upon the battle about him. Deiyi recovered from the Vengeant's assault only to retaliate in full.

Byron, however, emitted a rage so intense, he was able to create a shockwave, knocking the vigilante and the Dark Jedi away, slamming Zoraka into the building behind him and blowing Thanos away, down the sidewalk. It was after this that the legionnaires made their appearance, taking their places around Byron, their lightsabers at the ready and their eyes dead set on the Dark Jedi.

Shaka, on the other hand, watched as a flying lightsaber cascaded toward him, crashing into the wall he was standing beside. He didn't jump, but merely pondered if he should retaliate in kind for someone trying to decapitate him. He decided not to get involved just yet, allowing Jolo to have the glory of this fight. Should his Mando'ad brother appear to need his assistance, then he would gladly unholster his blaster and enter the fray.

Zoraka found himself between a rock and a hard place, thinking of a way to escape this situation. He threw his saber at the huddled group of Sith, seeking to execute at least one of them via decapitation. He then channeled the Force's energies, becoming intangible, phasing through the wall behind him to avoid an attack that would be assuredly brought on by the Legion minions.

"Jetiise osik. Shabla dajetiise." Such was Jolo's heartfelt curse when he ducked his head just in time to have the end of his rangefinder sheered off by a lightsaber, the blade skipping off the beskar of his helmet and blackening the paint. The situation royally was becoming a hell of whirling energies, and if that wasn't enough the thrum above him let him know a new piece of fresh osik was literally swooping in. "Fine, you want to play rough? Suck this."

Twisting in mid air, he looked up at the overhead ship long enough to get a lock on it. Then the Mando's head tucked as he slammed his WESTAR's in their holsters, the anti-vehicle rocket on his jetpack launching with blinding speed for the underbelly, Jolo tumbling with the backlash to strike the pavement, rolling and retrieving his naginata from where it lay. The motion brought his back to his feet, on the flank of the Legionnaires, and in its midst the mercenary had drawn a weapon that informed those present playtime was over.

At less that a meter away, there wasn't a prayer in hell that the D2-X disruptor pistol had a miss chance, leveled at it was into the thick of the Legionnaires. No witty remark, sarcastic taunt. Just the pull of the trigger and the subsequent broad burst of immense energies being forced into a cloud of sheer destruction a virtual flamethrower that had the effect of disintegrating those unlucky bastards caught in its way. Illegal? Highly.

Did he care? Not particularly. Broadcasting his words this time, he tilted his aim to settle at Byron, who had indeed ended up to close in Jolo's maneuvering. Given his position in relation to the force energies unleashed, he'd been almost untouched, and now almost literally had the blaster up the darjeti's backside. "Drop the shiny sabers, chakaar."

Isra watched as the force radiated from Byron and the street seemed to implode in battle but then she noticed Thanos being pushed down the street. Smiling she used the force fueled by her disire to take her revenge upon the man, to propel herself forward leaping into the air and down the sidewalk. She landed at Thano's feet with a smirk. "Got you" She said.

She attempted to kick out at the man and pin him by the throat with her foot.
----

Thai watched as the targeting systems on the ship suddenly came to life and jumping on one of the guns she activated a laser sight looking for the target that needed the most assistance. But before she could alarms went off as the missile came in and an automated system fired a burst of laser fire at the missile knocking it out just before it hit the ship. She felt the entire thing lurch. Jumping back on the weapons she brought one of the laser batteries down and fired a blast toward Jolo.

Everything was happening at once. A missle headed for her only means of transpoirt off the planet, Thai Vong piloting said ship, the weapons system activated onboard and firing at a Mando. Yet another Mandolorian. The last time she actually faced one was that Sith maniac Venator. She had stripped him of his ablities easily. She could do the same here. But on who ?

Without thinking it she disappeared from sight as she cloaked herself with the Force completely. The next thing she did was shove hard with the Force at the Mando holding Byron captive as she reappeared meters away. Aiming the shove to send the Mano flying into the path of an oncoming ground transport.

Then she spoke. Her tone heated, angered. "I have been hindered long enough, I will not be hindered any longer. Delays make more trouble then they are worth!" With that she threw something. A thermal detonator desguised as a smoke grenade at the Mando, with Zoraka not far from the targeted blast site. With the Force she pulled at Byron to get him out of the bombs reach, his lightsabers once more following as if on strings to remain around him, and now her as well.

Two seconds later she threw up a protective bubble as the bomb went off from the laser fire from the ship.

She gave him a single look, a look that said simply "back to back" She had her saberstaff in one hand, and the borrowed pearlwhite saber in the other. Sith and Jedi, working together.

The Force works in very strange ways these days.

Very strange ways.

The little droid who had taken its seat at the targeting computer quickly flipped up the shields as the incoming missile was heading straight their way. If the droid woefully regretted allowing the young girl to take the wheel it did not show any signs of complaining or even a snark remark about her carelessness. However they were considerably lucky that the ships weapons were in tip top condition. On the ground luckily Byron was able to move quickly as one of his spinning sabers clashed with the thrown blade and sent it tumbling away only to caught suddenly as Deiyi used the force to once again grab hold of him and bring the two closer.

"I will have to thank you later for saving me yet again. If I knew I was going to be so lucky as to have someone like you I might have just thrown myself into danger more often." Byron jested as he brought his hands out before him forcing the sabers that defended him to circle the two of them in a rather tight defensive position of rotating blades. The Sith Archivist simply kept them around the two while he took note of the now enraged Sith Lady who he had come after in the first place. "Deiyi not to bring up a horrible situation and make it ten times worse but we need to get out of here. I doubt that the kid I left on board can truly fly my ship all that well. What is worse is that the back up I brought for this little party is on their last legs and I doubt I can get a refund on them."

Or'gaan sighed, removing himself from his perch on the wall. He truly tried to stay out of this fight, hoping Jolo would be able to handle the situation by himself. Of course, the enemy proved more than Or'gaan's kin could deal with; that, and the fact that someone had tried --in vain, mind you-- to kill him.

He rounded the corner, his 3-BB blaster pistol drawn and aimed towards the nearest legionnaire. His finger was quick, and the rapid-fire capabilities of the double-barreled blaster provided unrelenting fire upon the surrounding enemies. He then focused his attention on the female dar'jetti protecting the Sith Lord, targeting her through his HUD, activating the lock-on for his shoulder-mounted missile launcher, and fired. A duo of homing missiles propelled toward her, delivering a highly-explosive and deadly payload.

"Seems you needed me after all," he said, finding his place beside Jolo.

Zoraka, on the other hand, appeared from within the building he had phased through. Deiyi had shifted her and Byron's positions. Between them and himself lay two Mandolorians, both raining their own brand of destruction upon the street. He would more than likely have to take them out if he didn't want them to interfere. However, he took their interruption as a blessing, deciding to stay out of side while they made things a bit more hectic for the enemy.

Thanos was busy with his own troubles. Isra had sprung at him, lashing out and trying to crush his trachea with her foot. He dove backward, avoiding her wrath, and simultaneously withdrew his Cervantes .33 from its holster, firing multiple shots aimed at the Sith's torso, hoping to put her down once and for all.

The Dark jedi took notice of the commotion across the street. Isra Ventra, awake and very angry. Zoraka had a feeling that the gunman fighting her was very well-skilled, but would more than likely prove no match for the enraged Sith woman. Gritting his teeth, he resided to interfere. Conjuring an orb of Force lightning, he hurled the energized ball towards Isra, waiting for its impact.

Flung by unseen hands, Jolo wished he had the bitch jetiise who threw him in range of the D2-X before noting a more immediate problem, via the 360 degree vision provided by his helmet's HUD.

"Osik-"

With a tremendous crack, followed by the sound of rending metal, the truck veered sharply to the side, all pretense of control lost as the impact with Jolo's beskar plated armor tore the hood into a mangled mess. A moment of out of control acceleration, then it hammered sideways to flip on its side further down the road. Groaning from the impact, the Mando barely had time to check his own vitals before being sent skidding, embedded in the now heavily damaged truck, flung forward by the eruption of the thermal detonator catching cannon fire meant for him.

Switching channels, the words he spoke were directly to the commlink in Or'gaan's helmet. "I'm pissed now. You might not want to be in the middle of things, cause the osik is about to rain."

Flicking through the HUD with practiced snaps of his eyes, the Mando triggered the start up sequence to the not too distant Silent Serpent. As the customized Bes'uliik fighter began to start up, Jolo wrenched free of the wreckage, scowl deepening as his jetpack came off his back. Reaching in and twisting it free, he eyed the damaged equipment. Then smiled.

A few seconds later, the jetpack reappeared, slid out from behind the truck before promptly launching like a ballistic missile straight for Deiyi and Byron's little knot, skipping and zigzagging with wild, random abandon. While the attention was focused on the "out-of-control" device, Jolo leaned slightly out, leveling the EE-3. And letting it get just close enough to the pair, fired.

Should nothing else go awry, the jetpack would receive a bolt up the tail, triggering the cataclysmic ignition of the remaining fuel within, thus erupting it in a massive fireball of solid fuel and spinning, jagged shrapnel. Ironically enough, at technique Jolo had used before, so he even had an idea of the kill-range: significantly larger than a trio of frags strapped together.

Thai watched from above as the battle in the street turned against the sith. "Droid take this ship down there we need to evacuate them!" Thai shouted. Getting up she ran from the bridge to one of the airlocks grabbing her saberstaff from her belt as she went. Once at the airlock she pressed the open button and jumped from the low flying vessel. Using the force to cushion her fall she landed near Zoraka. Igniting her saber she lunged for the dark jedi set to defend her Master.

Isra threw up a force shield to defend herself from the attack by Thanso and followed with a force blast to stun the man. When she turned around she noticed the orb of lightning and barely dodged it but was knocked off her feet and onto the ground by the impact with the street and received a small shock in return. I'm so sick of electricity. She thought angrily.

The first thing Deiyi noticed was the twin rockets in their direction. The second thing however she failed to notice as the jetpack came sailing in her direction after she redirected one rocket. Knowing that Byron had the other taken care of. The jetpack made contact and sent her flying into and through a market stand, which was left vacant when the fighting began. Her lightsabers --her own and the one she borrowed from Byron-- left on the street as she lost her grip on both weapons.

She was however, she noted with something short of glee. That she was closer to Zoraka. With his attention focused on Isra Deiyi made her move and ran at the man headlong. using the force to boost her strength and speed as she aimed to hammer into him like a out of control podracer.

But she was in control. Complete control of herself, and her emotions. Moving swiftly as she struck she reached out with the Force to pull her fallen weapons to her, but with Zoraka between herself and her lightsabers. That just made it easier as she ignited the weapons, twin spinning unstable orange blades of energy, along with a pearl white blade of equally lethal energy came flying at Zoraka from behind. In essence, the man was just in the way of Deiyi's waiting hands.

But there was someone else watching the fight. Someone with their dark eyes focused on two certain Sith.....

Byron was not foolish or slow as he used the force to deflect the other rocket with ease sending it into a parked vehicle that was labeled for a company that sells Crispy Creams. It was also with great haste that he cast one of his whirling lightsabers in the path of the blaster bolt that was following the jetpack in hopes of stopping it from hitting home. "This is bad. This is really..." Byron found his words cut off as he watched Deiyi get flung off to the side and felt his connection to the flunkies he brought along come to a sudden end as the last one was slain in all of the confusion of the battle.

Byron's ship droid simply nodded and lowered the ship as he was commanded while setting up the systems targeting perimeters for a hostile war zone extraction. With a sudden hum of the ships primary auto cannons and with its rapid descent The Luckless kept its doors open and began to open fire on all enemy targets with rapid succession that some would consider to be a rather vicious attempt at ending the lives of those who threatened to kill Byron or Deiyi.

The Sith Archivist could only smirk as a heavy blaster bolt was sent flying towards the opposition. "For everyone who wants to live to see another day I suggest you hurry up!" Byron shouted as he kept a steady pace on the whirling weapons that kept him safe while he rushed towards his ship knowing he had other goodies aboard in case things seemed to go from worse to impossible.
