a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by CHain_Way

Description

It was terrifying, gruesome and hideously graceful... Havoc and Chaos are always by its side, they make up the grisly dance of most macabre tastes; That is, Pandemonium.

It was always there; the impulse that gnawed upon the construct’s ‘mind’. Chaos. Havoc. Destruction. The three hounded the thing with a persistence that could be shaken by nothing; it was a flawed creation certainly, crafted by mistake by a civilisation long since destroyed for its hubris; its lust for Godly powers. Their creation was that which currently moved silently, eerily poised through the plains, unblinking eyes staring dead ahead, an expressionless void in place of a face.

It was Pandemonia. The essence of chaotic action with disastrous consequences, though any looking upon the thing would see merely a human figure, though the odd clock-work clicking sounds that accompanied its movement told that all was not as it seemed, that something was amiss. Metallic hands in the guise of skin clenched tightly at the construct’s side as it sensed life about it in the previously barren landscape and it froze in place, the ever-present pounding; the lust for carnage doubled its effort at the promise of bloodshed.

Eyes void of any emotion, empty and lifeless looked first forward at the one on the ground, then upward at what was in the air, the motion jerky and awkward. The skin on it’s neck cracked slightly with the quick motion upward, a thin sliver of metal visible beneath the surface.

How long would it be before stillness broke into swift and harsh action?

How long would it be before Havoc and Chaos raged across the area once again?

Most likely not long; the impulse would win out, as it always did...

Words. Words were spoken to it...? Why would someone speak to it? It’s head tilted to one side in a jerking motion, a sharp ‘tick’ sound accompanying the motion, lips parting slightly before they closed. Speech was something it could do, and yet it did not do so; what would it say? Confusion edged into the wrathful ‘mind’ of Pandemonia as it stood, still as a statue, merely gazing upon the woman and her mount.

Why was it important if it was lost or not?

Why did this woman fly?

Why was it being spoke to?

Question after question raged in the flawed construct’s mind, adding to the chaotic fuel that slowly burned and stoked a fierce furnace of power within it, the bloodlust rising even as its exterior remained so very passive. The hands clenched further and, should one look close enough, they would see the fingertips give way to the palm, as if they were being crushed under the force of the great and terrible grip.

Then came the other.

It’s head jerked violently forwards as further words came, further confusion, further fuel for the fire. “It does not understand.” It finally spoke in a tone empty and expressionless yet not the usual robotic tone one might expect from a creature such as itself. “It is bombarded. It must comply.” The words would likely mean nothing to the two assembled, however it slowly raised its arms, their surface shimmering eerily in the light of the Sun.

“It must comply.” It repeated, eyes looking at both people at once in the fashion of a chameleon; both pupils independent of each other. The arms would begin to shift, changing first from apparent flesh to cold metal, the pure silver dazzling to the two watching as it continued to morph, the shape changing completely until eventually where there were arms... There were blades.

Both were wicked and sharp, dangerous; Havoc was the right, it’s surface red with the blood of millions, jagged edge mimicking shark’s teeth, eager to tear into flesh. Chaos was the eternal companion, it coloured a dull black of the darkest night, its length was thin, both sides deadly sharp to pierce the thickest hide or armour.

“It must comply.” It uttered once again, blades lowering slowly as it bent its knees into a crouching position.

“It... Must comply.” It repeated again, a slight interruption of static causing a stutter in the words, its eyes closing for a moment as it seemed to pause, to evaluate the situation. Silence would then stretch between the three as it did this before suddenly it exploded into movement, eyes snapping open, both pupils zeroing in on the warrior before it; the one who seemed the bigger threat.

it launched itself forward, body being propelled through the air with an almost unimaginable force, the blades were raised above it’s head, body twisting quickly through the air, looking akin to a great spear as it shot towards the woman and her mount, the air rippling from the construct’s form; such was it’s speed and force behind the movement.

As it moved, the legs that were wrapped about each other for added motion also began to morph, their surface flickering silver in the same manner of the arms; both mimicked the twin blades, though they were more basic in construction; one, a simple long sword, the other however, was a hooked blade, its wide smile glittering ominously.

Before Havoc and Chaos would strike, it brought around the hooked weapon, using inhuman flexibility to create a three-part assault; twin blades tearing through the air directly forward, the hook striking from the side, the remaining blade lingering behind, should anything negative occur.
