Name: Parson Lessard
Age: 10
Birthday: August 31
Turned: September 22
Species: Vampire

Parson suffers from severe Dyslexia and discalculia. this means moth letters and numbers have a tendency to shift on him and all efforts fo reading and math have failed.

Personality

Slightly sociopathic, but not much, so it's okay.

He fears frogs and insects, considering both disgusting animals. He also believes that the stray dog population would be dramatically decreased if he was simply allowed to practice his hobby of dissection on the animals.

Drinking from Maleficus' blood, Parson has obtained 'Corruption's Blessing/Curse'. Because of it, there is a connection between him and Maleficus. This bond, although weak, is both physical and mental and will develop within the passing days.

Stage 1 - In stage one, the blessing is only working it's way into the target's constitution, intertwining itself into their very DNA. Depending on the individual, side effects may occur slower or quicker than with others. Side effects include...
-Nightmares depicting horrific scenes and events with perfect clarity as if one is actually there.
-Violent hallucinations.
-Heightened sensitivity to the arcane.
-A gained sense of Maleficus' presence and energies.
-Slightly Heightened speed.
-Slightly Heightened healing factor.
-Lv.1 Craving for Maleficus' blood.{ Ex. A child wanting candy}
-Increased hostility.{ More violent in nature. Status:Mild}
-Periodic excruciating pains. {Extreme Migraines, Intense stomach and chest pains.}

Equipment

Touch of fatigue
A necromantic cantrip, this fledgling necormancer’s one ability is to simply remove a small amount oflife energy from an animal or person, and to cause them to be slightly more tired. This lasts for three rounds.

Necromancer's Knife
Stolen from his mother, this knife has the ability to dehydrate if left inside of flesh for very long.

Cheap Red Lighter
Given to him for his protection, Parson has the ability to summon his mother's hellbeast Scamp by flicking this on.

Parson has a very curious hobby of animal dissection. As such, he keeps a dissection kit in a black doctor's bag, along with a few extras.

Dissection kit:
Surgical scissors, iris scissors, tissue forceps, scalpel handle,
scalpel blades, probe with angled tip, dissection needles, dropping pipette,
dissecting pins, rigid metal ruler, and case.

History

It didn't take long for Parson's first family, his birth family, to realize something was wrong with their boy. No matter how they disciplined him, he seemed hell bent on being cruel to everyone about him. A bully and a brat all in one, Parson could not have told you much about his family, other than he hated them.

So he took care of them, as they slept. The actions could have landed the young boy in jail, for murdering his parents and his baby sister. But he ran away after the crime, taking to the streets with ease. It wasn't long until he ended up with a favorite haunt of sort. Gambit's Bar was dangerous, horrifying, and all around exactly what he needed.

There he met, and began to torture and torment, the girl who would be his new sister. It didn't take long after meeting the small twisted girl for him to meet Sanina, who would be his new mother. His new mother who was clearly no more in her right mind than the rest of the small family, as she carried around the skeletal remains of a young girl, whom she called Jezebell.

Parson, who could barely read, and was often a crude young boy, turned out to have necromantic powers, that his new mother 'Nina' began to teach him. He even slowly began to accept his sister Bethany, though he would never be nice to her, he would be nicer. It was to his advantage to be nice to his family after all, even if both sister and mother were touched.

What many do not realize about Parson is that he positively loathes his Aunt Kaitlynn. Not only does she think him weird at best, she also shows quite a bit of favoritism to his sister Bethany, at lest in his eyes. With this laothing between them, it only made sense that, on a day when his aunt wasn’t quite herself, she turned Parson into a vampire.

So begins...

Parson Lessard rubbed his eyes and touched his neck, confused. What had happened? He remembered talking to his mom and saying high to his aunt, but nothign else. How weird.

Whatever. He was hungry. The ten year old made his way from the storeroom -and how did he get there? - to the counter where he took a seat and ordered his favorite meal.

Parson Lessard nodded."I don't even know what I was doing back there. My family keeps rooms upstairs." he shrugged. "Can I have some soda to go with my food?" he was perfectly capable of manners.

The boy yawned widely, revealing sharp canines. Not that he knew. If you asked him, he would have told you he was perfectly average in his teeth. Same as any other human.

He didn't realize, quite yet, what had happened.

Parson Lessard was only ten, and a bit of a coward as well. Having zero survival instincts at all, he would really rather not be bothered with a fight of any sort, especially a bar fight.

The ten year old ate a bite of his food only to spit it out in horror. "Oh! Ew, yuck! this tastes like, like ash!" Or so he assumed. He had never actually eaten ash, so he wasn't sure.

He went to take a drink to wash away the taste, only to spit it back in the cup. "Ew! Ew! What the hell is wrong with the food here!"

Poor child. He couldn't remember. Had never figured out that his adopted family was nary a one human.

He had no clue.

Parson Lessard 's nose twitched. Something smelled delicious. Amazing. Like a steak, cooked just how he liked it and seasoned just so. Oh. He turned to find the source and spotted Desirae Ji.

There was about to be a demonstration on why not to come into the bar bleeding. The newly turned boy's mind blanked out and he raced in front of Des.

"Food." He murmured, eyes on her stomach, mind gone.

Parson Lessard currently had no control over his actions. He was a fledgling vampire who had never once tasted blood of any sort. He wasn't consciously aware he was a vampire. Instinct driven, the newborn vampire threw himself after Des.

The fledgling was intent on her meal, and if any could sense emotion they would be able sense a deep endless hunger and need from the small forever ten boy.

It smelled so could. So amazing. He had to have some. Had too! Without care for any defenses she may have, Parson attacked.

Parson Lessard was easily captured by Uriel. He was too new to this life. Only a few hours old, the boy struggled to get to the bleeding Desirae. She was actually rather lucky that he was so young and uniformed. Had he any training at all he would have been more able to handle her and get loose. As it was, all holding him did was worsen his blood lust.

"Hungry!" He grunted, struggling to get away. "Want it!" that he could even manage the words was amazing. A single spark of lucidity struck, and the fledgling pulled the lighter from his pocket and lit it.

The lighter stayed in his pocket normally and he had only barely managed to pull it out this time. He had received it from his new mother. Wielded by anyone else it would have done nothing by light a small flame. But he was hoping that it would do as it had done before, and summon his mother's pet.

Parson Lessard relaxed a moment when Scamp came through, but then began to further struggle, eyes remaining on Des "Hungry!" He nearly sobbed, his stomach felt like it was eating itself. "Hungry!"

He struggled as hard as he could, squirming and pushing against Uriel to get the older vampire to drop him. Heaven help the clumsiest barmaid if she showed up injured again. the boy would turn his attention to her instead.

Parson Lessard continued to struggle before finally going for the tried and true method of biting. The fledgling attempted to bite down hard on Uriel's arm. If successful he would likely be difficult to pry him lose.

The reason being simply. If the bite was successful, the boy would have found exactly what he was searching for, though no as delicious or filling perhaps as blood from the source.

If unsuccessful, then he would continue to struggle, trying to pry Uriel's hand from the back of his shirt.

Parson Lessard stopped feeding abruptly, his mind catching up with his action with the first little bit of blood. What had he? What as happening? Had he just bit that man? Ew! How gross!

The boy sobbed and raised to his Nina. If the gun connected, then he would he holding his head, if not, he would liking promptly hide behidn her. "Nina! Nina, I drank blood!"

Ew! He needed soda, but soda tasted nasty now and the blood had been okay, but it was blood and gross and his mind was racing a mile a minute trying to process all that had happened to him.

Parson Lessard looked confused at the of course, but stayed behind her, glaring out from his safe point to Uriel. That man was a jerk. A big, fat jerk! the little boy stayed where he was safe, turning over the possible reasoning in her mind. Hm. Well, he drank blood, and it was kinda dark out and... he had woken up in the basement, to his own confusion.

"Nina, am I a vampire?" This was Terra. He wouldn't be surprised if he had become one because of drinking the water. God knew it was the sort of thing that happened in wing City.

Parson Lessard glared at Uriel. "Don't you shoot 'Nina! You're such and ass! Go away!" He yelled, brave from his hiding spot. "You jerk! as per usual, the moment he perceived himself as safe, the boy began shouting names and insults.

"Your blood tastes funny! Go away!" Hiding behind Nina again, he began to congratulate himself on the originality or that last insult. Clearly, he was the most brilliant vampire out there.

The little boy took his mother's hand and stuck his tongue out at Uriel, willing to follow his mother whereever she decided to take them. Hopefully, to safety. Howeverhe did rather hope Uriel never ever ever showed up.

The boy departed with his mom.

Parson Lessard eyes the bottle and accepted it, opening it but waiting for uriel to take a sip of his first. "Why?" he grumbled. "Idrink blood until I'm full, then I'm not hungry."

He was hungry now though. It was why he had decided to come back to the house rather than just spending the night at Gambit's like usual. Beth would be fine. He'd check on her in the m- the next evening, he guessed.

Parson Lessard drank his own cautiously, but smiled at the taste. "Well, it's just like eating regular food as a human right? Everyday, you eat three times, right?" He shrugged.

"I think I got turned by something in the water, so I dunno. I don't think I have a sire, or whatever it's called." He thought back once more. Before he woke up, he remembered his aunt and his mom, and saying hi....

Parson Lessard blinked. "Nina? Only a coupla months. My parents died." He had killed them and a sibling. "But I've only been a vampire today. Yesterday, I wasn't one."

He grumbled to himself and took a breath. Okay, he hated to admit to being less than amazing but... "I had only really been one for like...thirty minutes. I think. Before you showed up."

He shrugged. "thats how long I was awake. Before I went to sleep food was yummy. Now, i guess blood is." Not that he recalled falling asleep.

Parson Lessard moved about a foot in the opposite direction. Really, this was about as polite as he got. "Nina can teach me." He said firmly. "'She's already teaching me necromancy."

Very slowly. So far he only really knew one trick, and it wasn't a good one as far as he was concerned.

Parson Lessard grumbled. "You aren't allowed to manhandle me like that again. If you do, i'll yell Pedo, really loud." He informed him succinctly. "And someone will hear, and you'll be put in jail."

He moved a bit father away and finished off the blood. "Nina's a vampire too you know. Her, and Grandad Vincent, and Aunt Kaitlynn." Not that he would ever ever call Vincent grandad in his hearing.

Parson Lessard shrugged. 'Nina won't care, i'm not allowed to talk to Grandad Vincent til I'm 15, and Aunt Kaitlynn thinks she's not a vampire, except when she's hunting. either way she hates me."

He had no one to ask, so decided he could figure it all out on his own.

Parson Lessard stared at him. "Why stop necromancy? Nina's a necromancer." Hepaused thoughtfully. "I guess I'll ask one o the vampires at the bar. There's always loads there." He hrugged and eyes the empty bottle, glancing in it. "Hey where do you get these?"

Parson Lessard frowned. 'I like it. It's good. There's this vampire that makes blood juice boxes. He's at Gambit's sometimes. Him and his husband. Maybe I can get blood from them."

He huffed and looked away. "Can I have some more. I guess I can pay, if you want."

Parson Lessard accepted the bottles and placed the behind him, out of Uriel's reach. "Thanks." the boy glanced to him. "I guess I forgive you. and don' worry about Nina. She'll forget soon. She always does." Which was why he and his sister had lived at gambit's. so they could eat food, even if it was room service. Now...

'I gotta favor to ask. my sister is littler than me. Do you know someone who can watch ehr during the day."

Parson Lessard shrugged. 'Nina is up in the day. How logn will it take me to do that." His sister was four, he thought. She needed at leastsome sort of supervision. she may be six. the boy wasn' certain, but she was little.
