One of the Temple Empire's many experiments created to recreate the lost city of Atlantis. As time went on creating a perfect clone of the Atlantean was proving to become very difficult because of mutations and deformities in the resulting cases. Though the quest for creating the perfect clone never ended the Temple Empire took a different approach to creating a clone by taking DNA and placing it in a surrogate mother's egg. The resulting implications were much closer to the Temple Empire's goals though many of the Test subjects died either in the womb or after birth. Even more so the mothers of the clones usually died during child birth. That was until Afen was born and was considered the best subject and was quickly taken to the accelerated growth program. Shortly after her birth the division in charge of creating a perfect clone claimed that Perdix was created shortly after. The specimen was quickly taken to an incubator and growth chamber where he grew along side the same time frame as Afen but was never let out of his chamber. Eventually because of the development of Perdix's gimp left arm he was going to be killed and the process was going to be redone again. Though after Afen's escape the Temple Empire decided to keep Perdix and fix his arm by simply cutting it off and augmenting the boy. Once taken out of his incubator Perdix was quickly educated and brainwashed into believing that the Temple Empire is his new home and the leaders are his parents.
