History: Pete was born on May 15th, 1989 to the parents of Rick and Martha Rogers. He was the youngest of the two kids, age gap being four years. Rick was a strict father. He liked order and he liked the public to think they were the perfect family. The house was never dirty, everything was clean. Pete seemed like the perfect child, but his brother David seemed like the opposite. If something broke, and it was Pete's fault, David would take the blame. It took Pete six years to muster up enough courage to stand up to his father and try to take the beatings away from his brother.
Once his brother left for college, Pete was alone to deal with his father. As much as he loved his mom, she was no use. Pete got a job at the local book store where he saved enough money to buy an old beat up red 1970 C-10 Chevrolet. He had never seen his dad so proud of him. The day he brought the paper home to show his dad that he had enough money to buy it, Rick did everything he could to try and get it a little cheaper. With the extra money that he saved from his dad lowering the price, Pete and his father remodeled the car together. It was the longest time his father had gone without hitting him, and it extended till a little over graduation. Pete knew he had to try and stay "good" till his father released the car under his name. And when that day came, his father's graduation gift to him was the truck being under his name.
Pete worked at the book store for one more year before leaving after his father's last beating. He traveled from Georgia to Nevada where his brother was. They hadn't kept in touch too much since his father restricted it and when he did he would get beat. He packed up what he had and took what money he saved for college and left without looking behind. He had never felt so free in his life. Once he settle into David's house, he started working at the local bait shop where he learned about the ways of fishing. When he would get time off he would go with his brother camping. He learned archery and wood cutting the years he lived with his brother.
It took three years for Pete to start to feel like he needed to find his place, like something was missing. Letting his brother know, getting his blessing, Pete left. He had no plan on where to go or even if he would make it on his own. He never went to college, so the highest degree he had was high school. Over the course of five years he has traveled from states, having odd end jobs and great jobs. Now he was looking for a place to call his home. To settle down.
